Welcome back to The Injustice Wars! Last time, Blaze got herself caught up on what happened with Batman and company while she was in the throne room in Atlantis, and then they started to work on Dragnarok's last words before Darkblood took over again. And the clue very clearly pointed to Dick Grayson, former Nightwing and current Deadman. John Constantine revealed the best place to reach him is Nanda Parbat. Blaze trusts Batman to construct the away team, for some reason. So, who's on it, and what awaits as they do? Read on to discover... (Fair warning, this chapter will be a little bit shorter than usual.)

(Our scene opens up on Blaze in Legion HQ, writing an entry in her journal. It reads in this fashion:)

"Four years. This is our fourth year in this world and, I never thought I'd say this, but we might have a lead towards getting Drago back. And I can't believe I'm saying this either, but I'm trusting Bruce to create an away team for our next mission. He still keeps dodging my questions about why he let Superman go years back, and for that, I can't trust him fully. But, I mean seriously. The lead we've got is taking us to Dick freaking Grayson, the first Robin, the kid who was more his son than that brat Damian will ever be. I'm not going to make him miss a chance to see him again because of that. Though, if this comes back to bite me in the tail, he's going to get it. But, for once, I'm hopeful. I never actually thought I'd say that after getting dragged back into this mess. But, for once in this entry, I have an explanation as to why that is. And it's what happened in Atlantis. Not Aquaman dying or anything like that, though seeing that headline did feel somewhat good after all the misery he caused. It was Drago, actually. Seeing Drago again, even if it was for just a few seconds at the end of last year, was good for me. I'm starting to think I can pull this off."

(But before Blaze can get much farther, John Constantine and Batman come into the scene)

Blaze: (Closing her journal) Good news, I take it?

Batman: The away team's ready to go.

Blaze: Well then, let's go see who you thought made the most sense for this.

(With that, the trio walks into another room and meet the away team Batman has put together: Starfire, Batgirl, Red Hood, Catwoman, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn)

Blaze: Looks like it's a Gotham heavy hitters reunion!

John Constantine: More like a Dick Grayson version of Hamilton. (Points towards Catwoman, Deathstroke, and Mr. Freeze) They fought with him. (Points towards Red Hood) He died for him, well almost. (Points towards Batman) He trusted him. (Points toward Starfire and Batgirl) They loved him. And if Damian were here, he'd be the damn fool that shot him.

Red Hood: Let's get this straight. I didn't die for Dick Grayson. I'm just the only one here who's died, at all.

Blaze: Regardless, it's a room of people he recognizes and presumably respects.

Batman: That was kind of the idea.

Deathstroke: You got that right. Sure, the kid and I were enemies for years while he lead the Titans, but I still respect him. I always thought he was the only one worthy to carry on my mantle, even more than my own kids.

Batman: For once, we're in agreement, Slade.

Starfire: Dick Grayson and I were soul mates. If you think I would miss the chance to see him again, after all these years, you are out of your mind.

Batgirl: You weren't the only one who loved him here, Kori. And besides, you seem to have found a good rebound in Belial.

Starfire: I will admit, Belial and Dick do share some similarities. Perhaps they are multiversal counterparts?

Harley Quinn: Never thought I'd be happy to see that kid again, but here we are.

Catwoman: As much as I'm loving this little reunion, we should really get a move on.

John Constantine: Agreed.

(Without wasting a second, John Constantine performs some mystic gestures and before long, a portal has opened to the mountains around Nanda Parbat)

John Constantine: Hope everybody's got something warm on. It's a good trek to Nanda Parbat from here.

Blaze: I can produce an ambient heat field if anyone needs it.

John Constantine: Alright, then lets go.

(With that, the group steps through the portal and sets off for Nanda Parbat, ending our tale for today)

And that looks like a good place to wrap up for now. Fun thing, I didn't initially plan to start Year Four now. The Empire was actually supposed to be finished before Year Three ended, but then I realized we'd be in Year Three for a long time and I didn't have much planned for Years Four and Five, so I decided to split it up a bit. So, will Dick Grayson be of any help? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
