Nergigante the Eater of Elders.

Landorus a member of the Forces of Nature.

Nergigante

In the world of monster hunter, there are many powerful monsters. But the monsters that stand on the top are the elder dragons. Elder dragons are monsters that are so powerful they are considered living disasters that strike fear into the bravest of hunters. But there is one elder dragon that not only strikes fear into hunters, but even other elder dragons as well.

The eater of elders Nergigante.

Attack Potency

Nergigante is an elder dragon that hunts other elder dragons. Something that is considered to have no predators. But the Nergigante has proved that even creatures that are powerful even to be considered walking cataclysms are not above the natural order of nature. Nergigante almost exclusively hunts elder dragons.

The reason why Nergigante would choose to hunt such powerful creatures is because Nergigantes eat bio energy. Bio energy in monster hunter is like life energy and elder dragons have the largest amount of this energy. Making them the main source of food for Nergigante. It's almost like nature's way of balancing elder dragons. Now while most elder dragons are masters of an element or status like fire or poison. Nergigante actually has no element or status, something that is rare among elder dragons.

Rather, Nergigante uses pure unrivaled strength to take down elder dragons, like Kushala Daora, Teostra, Lunastra and many other elder dragons that had a mastery of an element or status. Nergigante does have one weapon outside of its strength. Its spikes.

Nergigante is covered in hard spikes that both serve as its weapon and armor. These spikes help to make up for Nergigante lack of an element or status. By giving it a weapon that helps its strikes to do more damage. As well as serving as a layer of thick armor, making even powerful attacks from other elder dragons useless against it.

And if they are ever broken off, don't worry as Nergigante has a regenerative ability to regrow them back in minutes and heal from wounds. Making the Nergigante a true force that even the mighty elder dragon would flee in its presence. Showing us that it really is the eater of elders.

Feats

—Can take down other elder dragons to the point where they are prey to it.

—Its strength is so strong that it can kill other elder dragons without the need of an element or status.

—Its deadly spikes help increase its already great power even further.

Durability

Nergigante is just as tough as it is strong. With its great physical status it was built to take a hit. And with the standard of elder dragons that is saying something. And this is only elevated higher with its spikes acting as extra protection. Making it a tank of an elder dragon. All of this with a regenerative ability to help heal any wounds it takes, it's no wonder how it is able to hunt elder dragons.

Feats

—Is built to take damage, even when up against other elder dragons.

—Its spike only adds more to its insane durability.

—Its healing also keeps it going.

Speed

The only category that Nergigante seems to not excel at is speed. That is not to say it's slow, just that it isn't a monster that has shown any great feats of speed. But it's still capable of catching elder dragons so it's not that slow.

Feats

—Is capable of catching other elder dragons like Kushala Daora.

—Can keep up with a fast monster like Rajang

Forms

Nergigante is already a powerful monster on its own, capable of taking down elder dragons with minimum effort. But the Nergigante isn't at its full power. There is a variant of this mighty elder dragon. The Ruiner Nergigante.

The Ruiner Nergigante is a variant when a Nergigante has gone through countless battles, resulting in its spikes becoming metallic. This not only makes the Nergigante even stronger and tougher, but also gives its spike the ability to cause bleeding, which basically means that they can cut so deep that the opponent loses blood while moving, making it even harder to fight back against the Ruiner Nergigante.

In this form Runier Nergigante was able to kill Shara Ishvalda, an elder dragon powerful enough to destroy mountains without even trying.

Weakness

While the Nergigante seems to be an unstoppable apex predator of elder dragons, it too has elemental weaknesses that can be exploited. And even without the elemental weaknesses, its spikes aren't perfect. They can be broken off with enough damage, and when broken off, the Nergigante skin becomes more vulnerable to damage. And while its spikes give great protection, they also slow it down by quite a bit.

Since it also lacks an element or status to use, it doesn't really have any range attacks, outside of launching its spike, which again when broken off leaves the Nergigante more vulnerable to attacks.

—Is weak to dragon and lighting.

—Spikes when broken off, leave it vulnerable to strong attacks.

—Has very little options when it comes to range attacks.

Landorus

Next up is Landorus. Landorus is the leader of a quartet of legendary pokemon. They are called the Forces of Nature. They originated from the Hisui region, before moving into Unova. The Forces of Nature are a group of pokemon that control the winds, lighting, field and life. Landorus being the fields and having the title of The Guardian of the Fields. He is also the one that stops Tornadus and Thundurus when they are fighting against each other. As well as being the strongest one of the group.

Attack Potency

Outside of being a legendary pokemon, Landorus is also the leader of his group and was able to take on both Tornadus and Thundurus at the same time. These two were powerful enough to cause destruction across an entire island and just their presence alone can affect the weather. The fact that Landorus can take on both of them should say something about his strength.

Landorus is a ground and flying type, and has quite a number of good moves. Moves like Earth Power, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Hammer Arm and even moves like Extrasensory and Outrage. It can also use Bulk up to increase its physical strength. It also has an ability called Sand Force which increases the power of ground, rock and steel type attacks during a sandstorm, which Landorus can create.

And finally he has his own signature move called Sandsear Storm, which is not only powerful but can cause the target to burn.

Feat

—Is strong enough to fight two legendaries who can cause destruction across an island.

—Is the leader of a group of legendaries.

Durability

Landorus is about as tough as he is strong, being able to take a beating from both Tornadus and Thundurus. And you may be asking what's so special about that? Well, outside of their power over the weather, Ash Pikachu ones absorbed electricity from Thundurus and was able to create a spirit bomb size Electro Ball that was only possible because of Thundurus's power. So the fact that Landorus can survive that kind of power from the two of them should speak about how durable he is.

Feat

— Can take hits from both Tornadus and Thundurus.

Speed

Landorus isn't slow either, while there isn't much to say when it comes to speed, it has been stated in its pokedex entry that he can fly across the whole land of the Hisui region in just a couple of hours. While, we can't be sure how big Hisui really is, but we know that it's at least the size of a small country. So being able to cross that much distance in under a few hours probably makes it faster than sound.

Feats

—Is able to travel across the whole Hisui region in just under a couple of hours.

—Is fast enough to keep up with Tornadus and Thundurus.

Forms

Landorus isn't done however as it has a form that is called its Therian form. In this form Landorus changes into a four legged creature gaining more power at the cost of speed. It also gets the ability Intimidate which can weaken an opponent's physical strength. This form is stated to be Landorus's true form.

Weaknesses

While Landorus has a lot of power it has two weaknesses. That being water and ice, with ice being its greatest weakness. And while it gains more power in its Therian form it loses speed.

—Is weak to water and ice.

—It gets slower in its true form.

Alright let's start this death battle!

(In the Elder's Recess)

The Elder Recess, a place where many elder dragons can be found. It houses some truly powerful beings of nature, from the masters of fire, Teostra and Lunastra, to the master of the storm Kushala Daora. A place where elder dragons rule supreme standing atop of the food chain.

But even these kings and queens were not above nature's law. For these mighty kings and queens have a natural predator. A predator that is in a way nature's way of keeping these mighty elder dragons in line and reminding them that they may be powerful, they aren't invincible.

That predator being the Nergigante.

Who was looking for an elder dragon to prey on. The Nergigante was starved for bio energy, but couldn't find any elder dragons to eat. That was before a hole in the sky opened up and something came out of it.

It was Landorus, who was in the air looking around where he was now. Nergigante looked at this strange creature for a bit and was about to leave. When he looked at it closer. Nergigante didn't know why, but this creature was making Nergigante hunger, looking at it, it had something that he wanted to eat. Something that was like the bio energy Nergigante eat, but was different at the same time.

Looks like he had found his meal.

"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Nergigante roared, which got Landorus's attention.

Fight!

Nergigante flew up into the air and charged at Landorus with his big mouth wide open, seeking to eat Landorus whole. Landorus however had no problem flying to the side dodging the bite. Landorus raised a fist and it glowed orange with power, before punching Nergigante at the side of his face. Nergigante was sended crashing into the ground, from the Hammer Arm that Landorus used.

Nergigante got up no problem, but was shocked by the display of power from such a small creature compared to himself. But Nergigante wasn't scared or even really impressed. Landorus came flying at Nergigante, Nergigante tried to hit him with a swipe of his big claws, but missed the fast Landorus. Landorus gave Nergigante a nice uppercut to the jaw with another Hammer Arm, which was enough to make Nergigante body shot up for a second, while Nergigante was in pain, Landorus used his other arm and fired an Extrasensory at Nergigante chest. The Extrasensory was powerful enough to send Nergigante crashing into a giant crystal growing from the ground, slightly cracking it.

Nergigante recovered from the attack and was more annoyed with it rather than hurt by it. Nergigante glared at Landorus with hate, as he did that, spikes started growing all over his body. Nergigante could see that Landrous was flying toward him again. Well Nergigante had something to deal with that. Before Landrous could close the distance to reach Nergigante, Nergigante slammed his head into the hard ground, before quickly raising it, which caused some of the spikes to break off and fly toward Landorus.

Landorus couldn't dodge the spikes coming at him, so the only thing he could do was block them with his armies. The large spikes hit him and caused cuts over his armies. Thankful they weren't strong enough to stab through him, and only left small lines of cuts on his armies.

When the spikes stopped, Landorus lowered his armies, only to see Nergigante standing over him with a big claw hand coming down on him. Landorus couldn't dodge this either, so he used one of his armies to catch it. The two of them were now in a battle of strength. Nergigante pushed harder down to crush Landorus, but Landorus held it back.

As the two were fighting against each other's strength, Landorus decided that this was enough and used Bulk up. With the increase of power Landorus was now able to fight back against Nergigante strength. Using his other arm he uppercut Nergigante with a Hammer Arm. The Hammer Arm was powerful enough to make Nergigante dizzy for a moment. While Nergigante was dizzy, Landorus rushed at Nergigante's chest, pushing him high into the air. Before stopping and hitting him with another Hammer Arm. The attack hit Nergigante right in the center of his face and Nergigante when crashing down hard.

Despite crashing down like a meteor, Nergigante was able to get back up no problem, his powerful body and the spikes that were growing out of his body provided a great layer of protection. Speaking of the spikes they were growing out even more and some were even turning black.

Nergigante roared, before flying into the air at great speeds, charging at Landorus. Landorus normally would have no problem dodging such an attack, but the over use of Hammer Arm had lowered his speed greatly. Landorus was hit by Nergigante charge. Nergigante's massive head hit Landorus and Landorus was feeling the sharp spikes pressed against his body. As Nergigante continued to fly with Landorus stuck on his head of spikes, Landorus wasn't going to do nothing while spikes were stabbing into him.

Landorus roared and suddenly a huge sand storm appeared out of nowhere. The sandstorm made it hard to see for Nergigante and caused him to stop his flight. The second that Nergigante stopped, Landorus raised one of his armies and a glowing huge stone appeared from thin air. Landorus slammed Nergigante atop of his head with a Smack Down, the attack was strengthened thanks to Landorus's ability Sand Force, which would increase the power of ground, rock and steel moves.

The Smack Down was strong enough to knock Nergigante off of him, as well as sending Nergigante crashing back down to the ground. Nergigante just like before was able to get back up, like it was nothing. Before Nergigante could go back into the air, giant boulders fell from the sky and were crashing down on him.

That was Landorus using Rock Slide, the giant boulders crashed into Nergigante breaking some of his armor spikes, as well as burying him in a pile of rocks. Landorus wasn't going to give Nergigante the chance to recover though.

Landorus with great speed now that the effects of the Hammer Arms had warned off, flew down to the ground and punched it. A line of giant stones appeared as the Stone Edge went into the directions where Nergigante was buried at.

Nergigante was blasted upwards by the Stone Edge, as Nergigante let out a cry of pain. But it was only about to get worse for him. Landorus let out a cry and suddenly Nergigante was now in the middle of a giant cyclone of searingly hot sand. Landorus's Sandsear Storm attack burned Nergigante everywhere, made only worst thanks to Landorus's ability powering this attack, as well as the previous attacks. Eventually the attack ended, as Nergigante flying out of the attack and was sent tumbling into the ground, causing many spikes to break off.

Landorus looked at the downed Nergigante, with a disappointed look, like he expected more from the elder dragon. Landorus slowly flew down to the ground to met Nergigante. Nergigante suddenly got back on his feet and roared in anger. As he roared the spikes all over his body grew to their full length.

Nergigante was enraged.

Nergigante charged at Landorus, and Landorus flew at Nergigante to meet him. Landorus hit Nergigante in the face with a Hammer Arm, while the attack made Nergigante flinch, that was all that it did. Nergigante slashed at Landorus with one of his big claws. It hit Landorus right on the chest. Landorus was sent flying away from the attack. And even had a large claw mark on his chest.

Nergigante charged again, aiming to use his head of spike to impale Landorus. But Landorus was able to stop the attack, by grabbing onto the two massive horns on Nergigante's head. Despite getting a hold of them, Landorus was still being pushed back. Nergigante kept going and ended up pushing Landorus into a rocky wall.

Landorus groaned in pain, as he slammed into the wall hard enough to create a crater in it. Landorus kept trying to push against Nergigante charge. But the enraged Nergigante was now much stronger than before.

As Landorus did his best to fight back against the charge, an idea formed in his head. Landorus, using his tail, slammed it into the ground, the moment he did that, the ground beneath them suddenly glowed with bright energy. Nergigante was too focused on ramming Landorus, to notice the glowing ground, and that proved to be a costly mistake.

Landorus's Earth Power exploded under Nergigante stomach which was less armored than the rest of his body. Nergigante wasn't prepared for the attack, and was launched up into the air. Before Nergigante could go higher into the air, Landorus quickly got a hold of Nergigante's tail. Before Nergigante could do anything, Landorus began spinning Nergigante around very fast. Before letting go of Nergigante, Nergigante hit the ground and some of his spikes broke off. He was also dizzy and struggling to stand up straight.

Landorus was not kind enough to give Nergigante the chance to recover, Landorus summoned the Sandstorm again, after that Landorus punched the ground and a line of Stone Edge came at the dizzy Nergigante.

The Stone Edge hit one of Nergigante's wings, causing more spikes to break off it. Nergigante got over his dizziness and slammed his head into the ground and raised his head up quickly causing spikes to fly at Landorus again.

Landorus blocked it with his armies again just like before, as the flying spikes cut into his skin. The moment he lowered his armies was the moment that Nergigante appeared and grabbed him in his huge claw.

Nergigante flew into the air, and slammed Landorus through a giant crystal. Landorus landed roughing on the hard ground and even coughed some blood out. Nergigante came down Landorus with a raised claw, aiming to crush him. Landorus however was able to fly to the side to avoid the claw, and slammed both of his armies down to the ground.

Suddenly the ground split open as the split was over a mile wide. Nergigante quickly flew into the air, only for Landorus to hit him with a Smack Down. Sending Nergigante down into the massive Fissure that Landorus created. As Nergigante fell, he quickly tried to fly out of the Fissure, only for a Rock Slide to come down into the Fissure.

Nergigante cried in pain, as the large boulders hit him in the face and were pushing him deeper into the Fissure. Landrous, using his power over the earth, started to close the Fissure quickly. Nergigante tried to fight back as the rain of Rock Slides, but his spike armor was taking great amounts of damage. Landorus had closed the Fissure with Nergigante in it. Before slammed his fist into the ground again and an Earthquake started, and Nergigante screams could be heard from deep underground.

Eventually the screams stopped and Landorus looked at the ground that had buried Nergigante. Landorus turned around and was about to fly away, when suddenly Nergigante came bursting out of the ground like a bullet.

Nergigante was hurt badly, his spike armor was completely destroyed and one of his massive horns was broken. But Nergigante was far from dead. Nergigante quickly took advantage of Landorus's shock and grabbed Landorus with his claws and shoved Landorus into his giant mouth and bit down on Landorus.

Landorus screamed in pain, as Nergigante bit into the midsection of his body, threatening to bite him in half. Landorus could feel the sharp teeth ripping into his skin causing blood to come out in great amounts.

Landorus, in a panic, started to hit Nergigante's mouth with Hammer Arms from the inside of Nergigante's mouth. Landorus's wild use of Hammer Arms hit Nergigante mouth from the top and bottom and even hitting some of his teeth. Nergigante tried to keep a hold of Landorus in his mouth, but the Hammer Arms were hitting all over his mouth.

Eventually Landorus stopped with the Hammer Arms and quickly fired a glowing rock down Nergigante's throat. Nergigante can't help but gag, as he choked on the Smack Down rock, causing him to open his mouth wide and giving Landorus the chance to escape.

Now that Landorus was out, he could see the big bite marks on the midsection of his body as well as the large holes on it that were leaking blood. The wounds made Landorus mad, how dare such a simple minded creature try to eat him. A legendary who had fought against the winds and lighting.

Landorus let the rage consume him, as he did his body started to glow bright red, before Landorus let out his own roar of rage.

Landorus used Outrage.

Nergigante was finally able to spit out the rock that he was choking on, he turned to face Landorus, one to get a powerful punch to the face. The punch hurt a lot, more so than any other attack Landorus has used so far. Nergigante was sent flying away a great distance and was barely able to catch himself from falling. But this proved to be a useless effort as Landorus flew and grabbed Nergigante by the neck and dragged Nergigante back down to earth. Nergigante hit the ground like a meteor and Nergigante cried in pain from the crash.

Nergigante fought through the pain and swiped a claw at Landorus, which was enough to send Landorus into a rocky cliff, but this only stopped Landorus for a second. Landorus flew and grabbed Nergigante by the tail. Landorus slammed Nergigante into a nearby giant crystal, causing the crystal to crack slightly. But Landorus wasn't done and slammed Nergigante into the crystal again and again.

After the fifth times Nergigante was slammed into the crystal, did the crystal break and Landorus let go of his tail. Nergigante was in pain and tried to stand up, only to get an uppercut to the jaw, before Nergigante could go flying up into the air again, he was quickly grabbed by the tail again and slammed back down hard to the ground.

Landorus was on Nergigante and started to violently punch Nergigante in the face. Nergigante couldn't even fight back, as each punch to the face made it hard to do anything. It seemed like Landorus was going to punch Nergigante forever, before it finally stopped.

Landorus was breathing heavily, but was still glowing red, Nergigante was barely conscious and was barely able to understand what was happening. Landorus grabbed Nergigante by the throat again and prepared another punch.

Landorus fist started to glow even redder to the point where his fist was completely red.

"LANDORUS!" Landorus shouted and punched Nergigante with his full power. The punch connected with Nergigante remaining horn breaking it and sending Nergigante flying away at the speed of sound.

Landorus's Outrage had finally ended, and he was now in a confused state.

With Nergigante he kept flying before crashing into an area full of the crystals that the Elder Recess had.

Nergigante still struggled to understand what was going on. He had been beaten by such a small creature. Him the eater of elders. Slowly Nergigante got back up, his wounds were starting to heal thanks to his regeneration albeit at a very slow rate. Nergigante start to limp away, before something made he stop.

He turned to see a large stream, normal Nergigante wouldn't care about such things, but he could tell that the stream had bio energy and a lot of it. Nergigante hungrily drank from the stream, as he drank, he could feel the bio energy affecting his body. The more he drank the more bio energy went into his body and Nergigante was feeling much better. In fact Nergigante felt great, better than he felt in his entire life.

Nergigante stopped and let the feeling grow as he did, his spikes came out, however they were different now, they have a metallic shine to them and Nergigante could feel his body getting stronger. With a roar, Nergigante felt rejuvenated and now his spikes were quickly covering his entire body.

Nergigante had become a Ruiner Nergigante.

Roaring with new found power, Nergigante flew back to find Landorus.

Landorus was still in an confused state from his Outrage, so was helpless went Nergigante suddenly slammed into Landorus with his massive spiked head.

"LANDORUS!" Landorus cried in pain as he felt the new metal spikes stab into him. Eventually Nergigante crashed Landorus into a rocky wall, Landorus was still stuck on Nergigante's head of spikes and tried to fight back, Landorus used Hammer Arm and attacked.

Only to hit himself.

Landorus in his confused state hit himself with his own Hammer Arm, right on the face. Nergigante wasn't kind enough to let Landorus recover, grabbing Landorus off his head, Nergigante threw Landorus down to the ground.

Landorus landed roughly on the ground, and was still confused. Nergigante saw his chance and roared into the sky before dive bombing into Landorus. Nergigante hit Landorus with his strongest attack, the dive bomb was like a giant meteor of spikes hitting Landorus at incredible speeds.

Nergigante's attack kicked up a giant cloud of dust and dirt everywhere as well as hundreds of metal spikes, many of which were raining down. Nergigante eventually came out from the dust cloud and roared in victory.

He had proven why he was the dragon that even elders feared. Ashamed that he didn't get to eat Landorus, but with his new found power, hunting an elder dragon would be easy.

"LANDORUS!"

Nergigante heard before a line of Stone Edges came at him and hit him at his sides. The attack did a lot of damage now that his armor of spikes were gone after that dive bomb attack. Which he was just barely able to stop himself from falling.

Turning around he saw that it was Landorus. But like how Nergigante changed in this fight, Landorus had changed too. His human-like appearance was gone, now Landorus looked like a beast of some kind. Landorus still had wounds all over his body and blood was leaking out at a fast rate. But he was still alive and was ready to fight.

"LANDORUS!" Landorus shouted and Nergigante felt that something had happened to his body, as an aura of blue covered it for a moment. This was Landorus's new ability called Intimidate, for a bit Nergigante physical strength was weakened.

Landorus flew at Nergigante and hit him with a Hammer Arm just like before, now however, since Landorus's hands had turned into claws, the Hammer Arm was more of a claw attack rather than a punch.

Landorus's Hammer Arm was strong enough to send Nergigante flying back and crashed through a crystal pillar. Nergigante got up quickly and charged at Landorus with his own claw attack, Landorus met it with his Hammer Arm again.

The two were locked in a battle of strength, before Landorus won that battle, thanks to Landorus's new form, his physical was higher than ever and adding into Nergigante's strength being weakened thanks to Intimidate, Nergigante simply stood no chance.

Nergigante was sent flying again, however this time he was able to catch himself thanks to his wings. Nergigante roared before flying up into the air, Landorus roared back and flew up to meet Nergigante in the air.

As they flew up into the air, Landorus swung his tail and a Sandsear Storm attack came toward Nergigante. Nergigante was able to fly around it, dodging most of the attack. Nergigante flew at Landorus with a claw reaching out to grab him.

But Landorus, still proving to be the much more nimble one, was able to fly to the side to avoid the claw. Landorus took advantage of the missed attack and hit Nergigante with a Hammer Arm right at the side of Nergigante's face.

The attack left a claw mark, and before Nergigante could recover from the attack. Landorus flew up higher into the air and came crashing down on Nergigante back. Nergigante roared in pain and crashed back into the ground hard enough to cause an earthquake.

That was because that was exactly what Landorus had used. Landorus had used Earthquake the moment he landed on Nergigante back, which made Nergigante feel the power behind it causing him to crash down.

Landorus quickly got off of Nergigante back, as Nergigante began to get back up. As Landorus got off, he felt some blood coming out of his wounds from the quick movement. Nergigante's dive bomb from early had caused many of the metal spikes to stab into Landorus, resulting in a lot of bleeding for Landorus.

Nergigante got up and roared in anger, becoming enraged again. As he did the metal spikes started to regrow back again. Nergigante slammed his head into the ground and quickly raised it back up, which resulted in the spikes flying at Landorus again.

Landours wasn't quick enough to dodge all of them thanks to the uses of Hammer Arm and with his new form his speed had suffered quite a bit. Some of them grazed him, leaving long lines of cut skin and one even managed to stab into one of his shoulders.

Landours fought the urge to scream in pain and quickly flew to the side to avoid a claw coming down on him. While he was able to dodge the claw attack he wasn't able to dodge the sudden tail attack that came immediately after. As Nergigante suddenly turned around after missing his claw attack.

"Landours!" Landours cried in pain, as he was hit by the spiked end of the tail, which was basically a giant ball of metal spikes. Landorus was knocked away, with some of his skin being ripped off from the metal spikes, causing even more bleeding.

Landorus fought through the pain again and flew out of the way as Nergigante tried to jump him. Using Hammer Arm, Landorus ran his glowing claw against Nergigante sides, which leave long lines of ripped skin.

Nergigante flinch from the attack, but wasn't going to stop his rampage of attacks. Nergigante tired to turn around to hit Landorus with his tail just like before. However Landorus was more propared this time and was able to just barely dodge the tail, by flying up.

The second Nergigante's tail missed him, Landorus pounced on it, stabbing both of his claws into the part of the tail that had less metal spikes on it. Nergigante roared in pain as Landorus' claws went deep into Nergigante's tail. Nergigante tried to get Landorus off his tail by swinging it around. But Landorus had a firm grip on it, Landorus started clawing at it and even went biting into it. Nergigante roared in more pain as Landorus was ripping apart his tail, Nergigante kept thrashing around, before becoming exhausted. Landorus then took out his claws, before letting them glow with the power of his Hammer Arm and slashed again.

"LANDORUS!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Landorus's attack had served Nergigante's tail, causing Nergigante to fall over from the pain. Now that Nergigante was down, Landorus flew off of him and hit him with a Stone Edge. The Stone Edge knocked Nergigante into a crystal wall which broke causing crystal to rain down on Nergigante.

Landorus was breathing heavily and winced in pain as his shoulder hurt. Looking at the metal spike that had stabbed into his shoulder he pulled it out with his teeth. As he did that blood was leaking out from it, as well as blood was still leaking out from the other wounds on his body.

It was then Nergigante burst out of the crystals he was buried in, his spikes were now fully grown. Nergigante leaped at Landorus, who flew to the side avoiding the claw attack. While he was able to avoid the claw attack he wasn't able to avoid the metal spikes that came flying when Nergigante slammed his claw deeper into the ground causing many of them to shoot out in many directions.

Landorus cried in pain as a few more spikes stabbed into him, one spike even stabbed into his tail. While Landorus was in pain Nergigante grabbed him with his claw. Landorus in pure desperation used Sandsear Storm the tornado of hot sand appeared in front of Nergigante face, causing him to let go of Landorus.

The extra weight of Nergigante's metal spikes were enough to prevent him from being swallowed by the Sandsear Storm, but the attack was still hitting him in the face. Nergigante leaped back to avoid the attack. While he was able to avoid most of the Sandsear Storm, he wasn't able to avoid the Stone Edge that hit his side.

"AAAAAAA!" Nergigante cried as the Stone Edge had hit under his wings, causing spikes on it to break off, as well as damaging the wing. Nergigante turned to where the attack had come from only to get a Hammer Arm claw to the middle of his face.

"AAAAAA!" Nergigante cried again as the attack was powerful enough to not only leave a big claw mark, but also sending Nergigante flying backwards. When Nergigante hit the ground Landours immediately grabbed Nergigante by the tail with his teeth. Once Landours had good grip, he flew into the air and began spinning around. He was spinning around so fast that Landorus was looking like his own tornado, all while Nergigante was helpless to do anything.

Landours finally let go and Nergigante went flying like a bullet straight through a giant crystal. Nergigante's head was saved from having his head crushed from the impact thanks to the mess of spikes on his head taking most of the damage.

Nergigante got up and roared with pure anger, and took to the air despite one of his wings being damaged. He flew at Landorus, who was clearly exhausted from all the fighting. Landorus use Sandsear Storm, hoping to stop Nergigante. But Nergigante just went straight through it, ignoring the attack.

Nergigante claw hit Landorus back down to the ground. Nergigante then landed down on the ground too, as he was exhausted as well. Landorus got up and suddenly roared in a way that one would expect from Nergigante, rather than him. Landorus was then covered in red glowing energy just like before in this fight. Landorus used Outrage.

Landorus, even in an exhausted state, flew at a great speed with Outrage. Nergigante tried a claw attack only for Landorus's claw attack to completely over power his claw attack. Nergigante was sent flying back, the second he hit the ground, Landorus came down on him like a wind animal. Landorus clawed at Nergigante's chest, with enough power to rip the skin apart. Nergigante screamed and lashed out with a swipe of his claw. It was enough to knock Landorus off of him.

Getting up quickly Nergigante, only had a second before Landorus ripped into his side, with his teeth. Nergigante screamed in pain and started to fail around hoping to get Landorus off of him. Eventually Nergigante did get Landorus off of him, by having Landorus rip out a large chunk of his flesh with his teeth.

Nergigante roared in pain as his side was now missing a large portion of it. Nergigante turned to face Landorus, only to get a claw stabbing into his eye.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Nergigante screamed the loudest it did in this entire fight, as Landorus' attack had destroyed one of his eyes. Nergigante grabbed Landorus with his claw, only for Landorus to break free of it thanks to the power that Outrage had given him.

Landorus flew atop of Nergigante and started to rip into him with teeth and claws. Nergigante once again tried failing around, even slamming his back into crystals just trying anything to get Landorus off of it.

Eventually Landorus did get off of Nergigante, but not before ripping another large chunk of flesh from Nergigante. Nergigante now had two spots that were missing a big amount of flesh, as Landorus was tearing him apart.

Nergigante tried to fly away, trying to get away from Landorus, but he barely got any air, Landorus had his teeth on his tail preventing him from escaping. Landorus slammed Nergigante back down to earth, before pouncing on his tail, with just a few claw swipes, Landorus had completely remove Nergigante tail.

Nergigante once again let out a pitiful scream of pain, at the loss of his entire tail. Nergigante tried to get up only for Landorus to slam down his chest, the sound of ribs breaking could be heard from the impact. Landorus looked down at Nergigante eyes full of rage. Landorus raised his claw high ready to slash Nergigante's throat open.

When his Outrage stopped. Landorus stopped as if he was suddenly out of breath, as well as looking very dazing. Seeing this Nergigante quickly swiped Landorus away. Getting up Nergigante could see that Landorus was confused again.

Nergigante slashed at Landorus sending Landorus away, Landorus in his confused state used Stone Edge, however it completely missed. Nergigante took advantage of the miss and slammed his claw down on Landorus.

Landorus cried in pain, before Nergigante grabbed him and threw him at a large crystal breaking it. Nergigante came charging at Landorus. Landours used Stone Edge again hoping that the attack would hit. It did but Nergigante wasn't stopping and kept charging at Landorus. Seeing that Nergigante wasn't stopping, Landorus used a Hammer Arm hoping to hit Nergigante.

"LANDORUS!"

Landorus cried in pain as Nergigante caught Landorus's Hammer Arm with his teeth. Before Landorus could do anything Nergigante bit down hard which was enough to bite the arm off. Landorus screamed in more pain at the loss of his limb, as all that was left was a bleeding stump. In pure desperation Landorus used Sandsear Storm to keep Nergigante away. The attack was enough to push back Nergigante. But Nergigante wasn't going to stop. Shallowing the limb, Nergigante powered through the attack and. slammed his claw down onto Landorus again.

Now that Landorus was down Nergigante took to the sky and roared with all of his spikes fully grown. Landorus had just gotten out of his confused state only to see Nergigante drive bombing at him at full speed. The drive bomb was even stronger than the previous one. Causing an explosion of dirt and metal spikes to be launched everywhere. Nergigante got up albeit shaky, he was greatly wounded and all of his spikes were now gone, but he was still alive. Looking around he found Landorus and started walking towards him.

Landorus was still alive just barely. Metal spikes stabbed all over his body with blood leaking out from each wound. And he had lost his tail somewhere from the attack. Landorus couldn't even move, all he could do was turn his eyes to look at Nergigante. Nergigante grabbed Landorus, and Landorus was helpless as he was brought into Nergigante's mouth. The last thing Landorus felt the big sharp teeth coming down.

Nergigante had bitten Landorus in half, before shoving the other half into his mouth. When Nergigante was done eating Landorus, Nergigante roared in victory after he had eaten the legendary.

Nergigante the eater of elders, the force of nature that even other elder dragons feared had won.

KO!

Looks like Nergigante is the eater of elders and legendary pokemon now. So why does Nergigante win?

Well to start off, while Landorus can fight both Tornadus and Thundurus at the same time, Landorus was shown to still struggle against both of them. Tornadus and Thundurus would be on the same level as elder dragons like Kushala Daora or Kirin. Now the fact that Nergigante regularly eats elder dragons like these, it was definitely more than a match against Landorus.

Now obviously Landorus wasn't helpless, in fact if it wasn't for Ruiner Nergigante, Landorus would have come out on top. Landorus had the power to match Nergigante blow for blow, for the most part. Landorus' powerful physical strength and wide move pool was more than enough to push back Nergigante. And Landorus's greater speed would give Nergigante a much harder time hitting him. And with his other form Landorus strength would only go higher at the cost of some speed, but it wouldn't really slow Landorus down enough for Nergigante to have the speed advantage.

So with these advantages why does Landorus lose? Three words.

Durability and regeneration.

Nergigante definitely had the durability advantage, being able to take way more damage than Landorus. And its regeneration would only make it much harder for Landorus to put down. Even if Landorus could expose Nergigante weakness to dragon, Outrage would leave it confused and open to Nergigante powerful attacks. But the final nail in the coffin was Ruiner Nergigante. Like I said if this battle was just normal Nergigante, Landorus would have likely won, but not only is Ruiner Nergigante stronger than its normal counterpart, its metal spikes can cause severe bleeding which would slowly kill Landorus over time. It also doesn't help that Landorus has no means of healing or countering it.

Landorus put up a good fight, but Nergigante durability, regeneration and metal spikes were enough to give it the edge over Landorus.

The winner is Nergigante.

Winner: Nergigante

+ Was stronger.

+ Was much more durable.

+ Had regeneration.

+ Its Ruiner form made it stronger.

+ Severe bleeding would slowly kill Landorus.

— Was much slower.

— Couldn't expose Landorus's weakness.

Loser: Landorus

+ Was much faster.

+ Its wide move pool would help to make up for the strength gap.

+ Its Therian form would make it stronger.

+ Could expose Nergigante's weakness.

— Was less durable.

— Couldn't heal itself.

— Couldn't heal the severe bleeding.

So, what do you guys think about the second battle between an elder dragon and legendary pokemon? Did you like it more than the Latios vs Valstrax one or was this one better?

Some interesting facts about this fight was I wanted Nergigante to do a battle since he was such a cool elder dragon, but couldn't really think of a pokemon to fight it. At first, I was going to go with Terrakion, as it too was a big and spiky boy, but after some researching, Terrakion had no real feats, and I couldn't really write the fight in a way that would be interesting.

So Landorus ended up fighting Nergigante and really, I think it works much better. As both Nergigante and Landorus keep the ecosystem in balance. Nergigante eats elder dragons to prevent them from overpopulating and Landorus makes sure that Tornadus and Thundurus stay in line to make sure that they aren't destroying ecosystems.
