Chuqing doesn't answer as she grabs a rag. It should be obvious her answer.

With no answer Zhengyong asks a different question. "What are your thoughts?"

Chuqing lets out a breath as she closes the drawer. She turns to face her husband. "It was shocking but I'm okay with it." Eyes meeting her husbands. She has never cursed or felt wrong towards their relationship. Hearing it out of nowhere it takes anyone as a surprise. To learn two people are having a child together without the knowledge they were even in a relationship would blindside everyone.

To have one of those two people be your nephew makes the surprise greater. It even stings. Why were they not told? Especially Zhengyong. His best friend and nephew are expecting a child. He should be told first that they are together.

The truth being explained does make their actions much clearer. They were nervous. Seeing Xue Meng reaction to it it's understandable why they would be.

"How has the pregnancy been?" Zhengyong wonders turning to Wanning.

Yuheng blinks, then looks down, letting a breath out, shoulders sagging. Calm now that Zhengyong is not going to make a big deal out of this. He also doesn't seem angry about it. Maybe he's hiding it? Either way Wanning focus on cleaning his hands. "It's nothing I'm use to." he answers simply. The two completely understand. Born a man and now pregnant.

"Wanning is healthy and so is the baby." Chuqing adds as she makes her way to Wanning. She sits down in front of him.

"How far along is Yuheng?" Zhengyong wonders, eyes roaming down to the large bump. He seems far. Chuqing soaks the rag in the untouched basin of water.

"I'm twenty seven weeks." Wanning answers tilting his head for Chuqing as she twists the water out of the rag.

"Oh. I thought twenty six weeks." Chuqing says wiping the blood off Wanning face. Yuheng hands wet with water.

"I calculated. It's twenty seven weeks today." Wanning answers. Chuqing hums.

"Twins?" Zhengyong wonders.

Chuqing lets out a chuckle as she rinses the rag in the already dirty water. Twisting it out a couple times. "Yuheng is a fast grower. There's just one baby." She answers soaking the rag once again in the clean water.

"Any clue to the gender?" Zhengyong wonders, a smile on his face. A baby is always a happy occasion. Wanning shakes his head, stopping when Chuqing tilts his head once again to get the blood from his chin.

"I have a feeling." Chuqing answers.

Wanning focuses his eyes on her. "You do?" He sounds very surprised.

"Yes." She gives Wanning a smile, cleaning the rag once again.

"What is it?" Xue Meng wonders.

"Do you have a preference Yuheng?" She asks cleaning the last of the blood for Wanning.

Wanning looks to the side. He's never thought about it. He hasn't asked Mo Ran what he wants. A girl or boy? Does he care? "I don't mind either." Wanning answers. Not saying the part where he just hopes the baby take after Mo Ran. Maybe having those violet eyes. Oh! And especially those dimples. He'd love it if the baby has those dimples. But he's getting a head of himself. There's still a chance the baby takes more after him. That's okay too. He'll make sure the baby never feels like he did growing up. "As long as the baby is healthy." Wanning adds.

Chuqing grins wider at Wanning answer. "If that's the case I have a feeling the baby-" the door opening cuts her off.

"Baobei, I got some snacks too. I know you have a bigger appetite now." Mo Ran says, huffing as he walks in. Chuqing stands up, closing the door for Mo Ran who stood balancing the tray of food.

"M-Mo Ran... do you care about our babies gender?" Wanning asks taking the dry rag to dry himself off.

"No." Mo Ran answers setting Wanning bowl down first. He turns to Wanning. Eyes on his wife. With a fat grin, eyes teasing he announces "as long as our baby takes after you baobei." Wanning face erupts red. He looks at Mo Ran with wide eyes, mouth partially parted. He did not just say that out loud. Mo Ran chuckles at Wanning as he sets the others plate down.

One in front of uncle. One for Auntie. His own. Even one for his cousin, who he sends a glare too.

"Have either of you thought of names?" Chuqing asks setting the basins off to the side.

Wanning stops as he pours himself some water. He then looks to Mo Ran, who looks at him back. Seeing they both haven't though about it they turn to Chuqing.

"No." Wanning says, embarrassed as he pulls his bowl closer to himself. Should he have? The time too seems so for away. Shouldn't they think about it closer to the due date?

Chuqing lets out a sigh as she joins them. "I'm sure you both haven't thought about much. Yuheng did have very horrible morning sickness."

"True. And I was gone for that one mission just as Wanning started to feel better." Mo Ran says pulling his bowl close to him. Chuqing nodding. To be fair the two were wholly unprepared for this baby. More so than most couples.

As Wanning starts eating Zhengyong asks, "do you have anything for the baby?" Wanning looks at the sect leader as he chew, shaking his head slightly. Mo Ran looks away. Truly unprepared.

Not fully. They were learning how to handle an infant. Since neither have before.

They have been living day to day. Taking it one step at a time. The baby's name will come once the baby is born. But the other stuff? They don't even have a set room for the baby. Where is the baby going to sleep? What are they going to wear? They have no toys. Blankets.

Their baby has nothing.

Where does Wanning even shop for these things?

How much do all these things cost?

How much of these things does he need?

Their baby isn't going to be a baby forever.

"Wanning." Mo Ran bring the pregnant man out of his deep thoughts. He looks to Mo Ran looking at him with worried eyes. Wanning tilts his head. It had gone quiet, he didn't even notice. All eyes are on him. Blushing he looks back at Mo Ran who is staring with an unreadable look.

"Yes?" Wanning wonders confused.

Mo Ran looks down then back up to his eyes. "You are eating my bowl." He says. Wanning snaps his head down. Eyes seeing the mostly eaten red bowl. Feeling rather embarrassed about not noticing he was eating someone else's bowl without thinking he pushes it back towards Mo Ran.

"Sorry." Wanning mutters. He starts eating his own bowl, rather plain looking. Once the first bite hits his tongue he frowns. Looking down at his bowl. It's not bad... just not... right.

His eyes automatically go to Mo Ran red spicy bowl. His mouth waters at it.

The three notice what he's staring at. It's hard for Mo Ran not to, especially when he starts eating. Every bite he took Wanning follow every action. Eyes longing for the bowl. As more and more is eaten Wanning eyes look back with an almost desperate look. A deep wanting. Begging.

Wanning ate his own bowl with sadness. All four felt sorry for him. Especially Mo Ran.

He loves the man but he isn't going to give up his spicy bowl and eat the plain food Wanning usually eats.

When finished they stack the bowl together. Not satisfied Wanning starts on the snacks. A bit on the spicy side. Which he loves but it's not scratching the craving he has now.

"How long have you been together?" Zhengyong wonders. "Are you planning on getting married?"

Wanning pauses. Chuqing looks at him. Mo Ran looks at his cousin then uncle, he hopes they are calm after hearing the answer, his cousin more so. Wanning glances at Zhengyong from under his lashes. Shy about saying the truth. But he goes for it.

"We've been married for six years now." Mo Ran and Wanning say at the same time. They look at each other. Stunned. But once that's over they both smile at each other.

It's nice having people know. Something they learned with madam Wang. Having her around and not having to hide their relationship is extremely refreshing. Awkward at first but it became easy to get use to.
