Chapter 16: Sock Opera 2

Authors note: Chapter 16 is here, which means the second half of the story has begun. Things will get fired up, more intense stories will be told, and new players will be added. Also, be warned that this is the first time doing new songs.

Over at a Cloud Tower classroom, Griffin was teaching a lesson on witchy transformations, which are very different from the kind fairies learn. They were learning more along the lines of metamorphosis. Everyone was interested in what she had to say.

"Now, here's a question for you to answer," Griffin said. "Why shouldn't you cast transformative spells during the full moon?" Griffin saw that nobody was raising their hands. "Mirta?"

"M-me?" Mirta asked, now suddenly the center of attention.

"Yes, you," Griffin said, now being impatient. "I asked you a question."

"Well," Mirta said as she began her statement. "It's because the light rays of the moon could cause a lot of negative interference, which could cause unwanted, and in some cases, permanent features." Griffin eyed her student and then looked away.

"While you are correct with your answer, you weren't sure about your answer," Griffin said as she went back to the front of the class. "Witches should be confident with their abilities, such as responding to others."

"See Lucy? Confidence," One of the students said, mocking Lucy. "Something a Miss Magix winner has. Oh wait..."

"By the dragon, she's ugly as sin," Another student said as they both giggled at her. Griffin turned around and zapped barriers around both of their mouths, causing them to panic.

"BOTH OF YOU, STOP IT!" Griffin said. "If you wish to talk to Lucy, then do so after class... without the bullying." Despite being saved from the headmistress, Lucy still felt bad. It'd been a few weeks since the Miss Magix incident and Lucy was still paying for screwing over the Trix, who wanted her to win. Now she was the laughing stock of the whole school.

Except for Mirta, of course.

"Don't listen to them, Lucy," Mirta said as she tried cheering her up, but Lucy scoffed and looked away, not even wanting her own girlfriend to cheer her up.

"Why can't you two be more upstanding students, like the Trix?" Griffin told the other two witches as she pointed to the Trix in the back as they were taking notes when in reality, they were too pissed at Lucy to even give her the time of day. They were still feeling the betrayal from Miss Magix and decided the only person those four were gonna help out from now on was themselves or the people they loved. No more favors from other students.

Over at Alfea, all the first-year students were outside as Faragonda gathered them around with Wizgiz and DuFour, wondering what all this was about.

"Sorry to gather you out here so early in the morning," Faragonda said, trying to lighten the mood. "But before we begin today's examination, I would like to proudly welcome two brand new teachers to Alfea's faculty." This caused all the students to start talking amongst themselves.

"New teachers? This late into the year?" One student said.

"Must be special cases if Faragonda is introducing them," Another student said.

"Hope they're better than Griselda," Stella hoped.

As the students kept talking, Faragonda clapped her hands, alerting them to two brand new sets of footsteps walking out. "These two might be from Earth, but they have earned their way to be your new teachers. One is your new finance teacher, and the other is your new weirdness research professor, and their names are-"

"GRUNKLE STAN?! GRUNKLE FORD?" Dipper and Mabel blurted out when they saw who came up. The other students were shocked at this and started talking to each other again.

"Grunkle?" Francine whispered to Genesis. "As in Great Uncle?"

"Oh great, we're gonna have favoritism," Another student said.

"Kids?!" Stan said as he saw the two of them. "The hell are you two doing here?"

"We go here," Mabel said as she summoned a fireball. "See?"

"The better question is how did you two know about Alfea?" Dipper asked.

"It's a long story," Ford said. "But we'll talk later. I promise."

"Wait, you know them?" DuFour asked.

"Of course," Ford said as he was hugged by Dipper and Mabel. "They're family."

"Speaking of, I know you didn't get any of this fairy nonsense from our side of the family," Stan said.

"We got it from mom, actually," Mabel said.

"Good ol' Dana," Stan said, thinking of his niece-in-law.

"With the introductions of Professor Stan and Professor Ford out of the way, I suggest we get today's exam started," Faragonda said, suggesting they speed things along.

"Sorry, Faragonda," All 4 of them said as Dipper and Mabel went back to the Winx, and Stan and Ford went with the teachers, with Wizgiz climbing on Stan to get to his face.

"Talk about a family reunion," Wizgiz said to his new friend.

"You said it, Wizzy," Stan said, chatting with his leprechaun friend.

"Now, who would like to go first?" Faragonda asked, but nobody wanted to. "How about... Bloom." All the students turned their heads and looked at Bloom.

"ME?!" Bloom said, shocked she's first.

"Don't worry, bestie. You're gonna do fine," Stella assured Bloom as she took a deep breath and walked forward.

"What do I need to do?" Bloom asked her headmaster.

"Why it's quite simple," Faragonda happily explained it while summoning a blob monster, causing it to roar. "Defeat this large blob monster before it hurts me."

"WHAT?!" Bloom exclaimed as she was bewildered by such a request. Who would in their right mind create a monster to attack themselves? But as the blob roared, Bloom transformed and flew between the teachers and the blob, forcing it to stop its rampage.

"Nicely done," Faragonda said while motivating her.

"NOW PUNCH IT!" Stan told her as Bloom charged her right fist with fire and gave it a good slug.

"FIRE PUNCH!" Bloom yelled as she punched it, causing it to wobble back a few feet and groan in pain. "And now it's time for you to disappear! PYRO PRISON!" Bloom used her magic to trap the blob in a sphere of fire and cooked it until it was vaporized. "And that's that!" Bloom landed and transformed back to normal. "Next time, don't endanger yourself, please."

"We may be old, but we still know how to kick butt," Stan said. "But I guess you do have a right to worry."

"It is appreciated, Bloom," Faragonda said, impressed. "A fairy always looks out for others in need." She then turned to her fellow staff members. "What do you guys think? An A?"

"Without a doubt," DuFour replied.

"Absolutely," Stan said, still impressed with the punch.

"She gets my approval," Ford said.

"Then we're all in agreement," Wizgiz said as he stretched off of Stan's shoulders and landed on the ground, reforming as he did so. "Bloom gets an A."

"Now..." Faragonda said as she summoned another blob. "Who would like to go next?"

Later that day, after classes were over, Bloom and Brandon went on another date in Magix City, and they were sitting at an ice cream parlor as Bloom was sampling the flavors she never tried or had even heard of.

"These flavors are incredible!" Bloom said as she took another bite. "I never knew Lymphia's Natural Berry Ice Cream tasted so juicy."

"Oh yeah, they're my favorite too," Brandon said. "One time, during a royal party back home, I once saw Sky ate through a whole tub of these, and then proceeded to throw up all over this princess's dress."

"Eesh, talk about bad timings," Bloom said as she chuckled, but then held her head. "AAAHHHHH, BRAIN FREEZE!"

"Humans can get that, too?" Brandon asked of her.

"YES!" Bloom said. "And my fire magic does nothing to stop it!" After a few moments, Bloom was feeling ok. "Ok, I should be fine... hopefully."

"Are you ok?" Brandon asked.

"It's just... everything's been weird these last few weeks," Bloom explained. "I found out I'm adopted, and now more and more memories keep filling in and... I don't even think I'm a human. And the worst part is that there's so many more answers left unanswered and I don't know if I even want to solve them."

"Things will be ok, Bloom," Brandon said as he moved next to her. "Plus, you're not alone. I know a certain bunch of fairies who will be willing to stand side by side with you through it all."

"You think they would?" Bloom asked. "I mean, Dipper and Mabel have just as much of a stake in this as I do for some odd reason, and the others do love helping out."

"There's nothing wrong with asking for help," Brandon says. "It's part of being in a squad. Or in your case, a club."

"Maybe you're right," Bloom said as she thought about it. "Speaking of, would you like to sneak inside Cloud Tower tonight and help me find some answers?"

"Sneak inside Cloud Tower? Tonight?!" Brandon asked. "Well, I could see if I could sneak out."

"Thanks, Brandon," Bloom said as she hugged him, and Brandon hugged back.

"What are friends for," Brandon replied.

Back at the Specialist's dorm at Red Fountain, Brandon and Timmy were talking about the plan for tonight as Timmy pulled up the specs of Cloud Tower on a hologram device.

"Well normally, the main entrance to the school is this gate right here, and there's barely any landing pad because no ship wants to go near it," Timmy elaborated. "Which means we need to move fast, so I recommend we take the windriders over."

"Good thinking," Brandon said. "Cloud Tower can detect fairy magic if it's in use, but not any technology."

"But what about the fact that Griffin can detect other people inside her own school?" Sky said as he and Wendy came back from downstairs.

"Don't worry about that," Brandon said. "I told Bloom that I would help her, so I'll help her."

"Just be careful, ok?" Sky said.

"And to make sure of it, I'm coming along," Wendy said. "It's not like I have anything to do tonight, anyway."

"You sure you want to come?" Brandon asked. "It's gonna be risky."

"Not an issue for me and my trusty axe," Wendy said confidently.

"It would be recommended to take her with us," Timmy suggested to Brandon.

"Alright, you're in," Brandon said with a smile and then turned to Sky. "Do you want in on this?"

"Can't, man," Sky said. "Riven and I are hanging out tonight, and Helia said he was gonna help Mabel with some project of hers. Apparently, he's quite the talented artist."

"Alright, hope you have fun," Brandon said as he turned to the other two specialists. "Gear up because we're leaving in 10."

"Roger," Both Wendy and Timmy said at the same time.

Back at Alfea, Bloom was stressing in her dorm's living room while Dipper and Tecna were playing video games together.

"I don't know if I should do this again," Bloom said. "Last time we snuck in, we lost access to our powers, but I feel like if there's gonna be any answers to my past, it's gotta be at Cloud Tower."

"It will be fine," Tecna said as she was playing. "It's not like Stella would be here to help us lose our magics. Where is she, anyway?"

"She said she was helping Mabel with a special project," Dipper said. "But if it means we get to find out why Daphne keeps entering our minds, then I'm coming along."

"Dipper, you don't have to," Bloom said, trying to spare him. At that moment, there was a knock on the window as the trio saw Brandon, who's in his uniform, floating with his Windrider. Bloom went over and opened the window

"Hey Bloom," Brandon said. "Ready to go?"

"Uh, yeah," Bloom said as she prepped herself. She then also saw Timmy and Wendy on their Windriders, floating next to her as a thought popped into her head. "Is it ok if I bring Dipper and Tecna along?"

"Not if you don't mind me bringing Wendy and Timmy along," Brandon said, knowing this mission would be a success if more people pitched in.

"This sounds fun," Tecna said as she paused the game

"So we should move on 3 bikes with 2 people on each," Dipper said. "The leaders are Bloom and Brandon. The brains, which are Timmy and Tecna, and the badasses, which are Wendy and myself."

"No arguments here," Wendy said as she got Dipper on her bike and handed him a helmet. Tecna went on Timmy's bike and Bloom went on Brandon's bike.

"Alright, let's ride," Brandon said before they went off.

Back at Cloud Tower, Lucy and Mirta were in their shared dorm room as they were talking about what was going on. Lucy was still upset over what happened today and Mirta tried cheering up her girlfriend.

"Don't listen to what they have to say, Lucy," Mirta said, trying to comfort her. "Why don't we just go out tonight?"

"No way, after what happened at the Miss Magix contest, I refuse to show my face in public," Lucy said as she tried shooing away Mirta. "You go, Mirta, I just want to be left alone, alright?"

"You're being too hard on yourself, Lucy," Mirta said. "Sure the whole Miss Magix thing was a fiasco, and the Trix have the right to be mad at you, but you should try apologizing to them. Please... before I can't recognize you anymore."

"You don't understand, Mirta," Lucy said as she tried explaining. "I wanna be part of their little group. I wanna be a Trix witch. I've heard from them all the way from secondary school when we shared the same class in Eraklyon, and this was before they recruited Pacifica into their group. I just wanna feel like I belong, you know?"

"I do, yes," Mirta said as she hugged Lucy. Lucy tried to push her away, but that made Mirta's grip stronger.

"Well... I'm still not going," Lucy said as she turned away. "You can do whatever tonight." This made Mirta let go as she sighed, grabbed some stuff, and left the dorm. As she was walking through the hallways, she found a strange colorful flyer on the walls.

"What's this?" Mirta said as she read it. "Mabel Pines presents 'The Power of Magix', a one-night-only sock opera featuring the three schools. Helpers wanted." Mirta then took the flyer and read more of it. "Maybe this is what I need."

Outside Cloud Tower, the 3 bikes were zooming by as they approached the school, determined to get in.

"Here we are, guys," Brandon said as they parked near the entrance, but were not caught. "Cloud Tower."

"And the secret entrance is just around this way," Timmy said. "Follow me." The group then followed Timmy inside the building, with Dipper helping with his president's key, as they started finding their way to the library.

"If my memory is correct, then the library should be around this way," Tecna said, remembering the last time she was at the witch school.

"According to my map and your memory, we're both on the right track," Timmy said as both he and Tecna were working together as the others followed.

"They're so cool," Dipper said, loving the tech they both have.

"Oh totally," Wendy said. "Plus we don't have any traps laid out like last time."

"Yeah, nobody was ready for the quicksand," Dipper said as he remembered. "Or the spiders."

"Like the scream Stella put out," Tecna said, throwing shade at Stella, who wasn't even among the group. They tried not to make any noise while traversing down the hallway, but thankfully, it was their lucky night.

"Wow, I can't believe we're pulling this off," Timmy said, flabbergasted.

"Come on, man, don't jinx it," Wendy said as she nudged him.

"It should be behind this door," Dipper said. "But be careful. The last time we were here, we had to deal with flying books."

"Great, now knowledge is trying to kill us," Wendy said as she rolled her eyes.

"Trust me, none of us liked it," Bloom said. Wendy then opened the door to the library and saw that nobody was inside.

"Alright, the coast is clear," Wendy said as she signaled the others.

"Remember, we're just finding a book with my name on it that's supposed to contain my entire life," Bloom said as she told the others as they walked in. The others nodded as they went in and walked to the section they needed to go to.

"Alright, the fairy encyclopedia," Wendy said. "Let's find it and get out. This place gives me the creeps."

"You and me both," Tecna added as they started looking. "I believe we should look in B for Bloom or P for Peters."

"Way ahead of you," Brandon said as the group got to work. As they were looking, Dipper saw his book was there, but it was changed back to another name.

"What the hell..." Dipper said as he picked up his book and tried changing it. Wendy walked over and saw what he was doing.

"Uh, dude? We're supposed to look for Bloom's book," Wendy said as she saw the title. "Not one titled 'Mason Pines." As she said that, Dipper turned away from her in embarrassment.

"Please don't call me that," Dipper said as Wendy immediately knew what he meant by this. Mason was his real name.

"Ooohhhh..." Wendy said, now knowing his real name. She then knelt on one knee and pulled him into a hug. "Sorry for pushing it, but Mason is kind of a cute name."

"It is?" Dipper asked, not having been complemented on his real name before besides from his parents. As they were having a moment, Timmy saw them and came up.

"Hey, sorry for breaking up the moment, but we have a job to do," Timmy said as the two of them were slacking. "And whose book is that?"

"No one," both Dipper and Wendy said at the same time as Dipper put the book back behind his back, hoping Timmy wouldn't see the name.

"I FOUND IT!" Tecna said, her voice booming as the other 5 were worried that they might have been caught. They then rushed to her position and saw the book titled 'Bloom Peters'.

"Not so loud, please," Brandon said.

"This is it," Bloom said as she placed her hand on it. "This is my book." Bloom then takes the book from Tecna's hand and opens it up.

"What does it say?" Dipper asked. As Bloom was about to read more of it, the book was magically yoinked from her hands, and saw that Griffin was there.

"Again with the trespassing, eh Bloom?" Griffin said. The group was shocked, they knew they would be in trouble.

"Aw crap," Bloom said, knowing she would suffer worse than losing her powers. "Look, we can explain."

"From what I understand, you and those twins that pal around with you have been visited by Daphne Sparks, who died over 16 and a half years ago," Griffin summarized. "But I can assure you that the answers you seek are not in this book."

"So, this trip was for nothing?" Wendy said, annoyed that this was a bust.

"Not quite, specialist," Griffin said. "In the spirit of the show happening at Alfea in a few days, I will let you all walk without consequences."

"What's the catch?" Dipper asked.

"None whatsoever, Dipper," Griffin said as she used her magic to teleport them out of Cloud Tower. Griffin then opens up Bloom's book and turns to a certain page.

"Things have to go a certain way, granddaughter," Griffin said. "Or else these books might as well be useless."

The group was heading back to Alfea, annoyed by their failure.

"I can't believe Griffin knew where we were," Wendy said, frustrated.

"I really thought this would work," Timmy said, upset that his plan failed.

"Yeah, this was my fault," Dipper said. "If only I wasn't focused on my book, we would have been successful by now."

"It's not your fault, Dipper," Brandon said. "We were just unlucky. Wrong place, wrong time, you know?"

"I hope that's the reason," Dipper said as he slouched.

"It's not a big deal," Tecna said. "If anything, it might have been my scream that gave us away."

"It's alright, guys," Bloom said. "I knew it wouldn't be this easy, anyway."

"Which means we need to look even harder," Dipper said as he tried cheering up the group. "Plus, I think Red Fountain has its own library."

"Yeah, but it's more so used for diplomacy," Brandon said. "Nothing like the one from Cloud Tower."

"It was a good idea, Dipper," Wendy said as the group returned to Alfea and got off.

"You guys wanna stay for a while?" Bloom offered.

"That would be lovely," Brandon said as the rest of them all walked inside and headed to the Winx's dorm room and saw that Mabel was planning a few things out with some fairies, specialists like Helia, and witches like Pacifica and Mirta. it was an odd gathering, to say the least

"This is... quite a group," Bloom said as she saw the ensemble.

"Yeup!" Mabel said as she got up. "Meet the cast and crew for my sock puppet play: Memories of Magix!"

"Another sock puppet play?" Dipper said as he suddenly had flashbacks to the last time Mabel had something like this.

Flashbacks to Bipper.

"Yeup and I have people from the 3 schools working on this," Mabel said as she showed off the people. "Musa's in charge of music, Mirta is in charge of Cloud Tower accuracy, Helia is in charge of set design, Stella is designing the puppets, and so many more. Plus, they get to play as themselves, so everyone has a role to play."

"This is incredible," Bloom said as she saw a puppet that was supposed to represent her. "Is this me?"

"Yeup, sure is," Mabel said as she used her magic to make the Bloom puppet float and make it speak. "Hi, I'm Bloom Peters, and I'm from Earth. I've got the best friends in all the universe, and have amazing fire magic. Also, in my spare time, I like hanging with Brandon and doodling pictures."

"Ok, that is so her," Stella said as Bloom smiled, knowing Mabel got her exactly right. Bloom was then gifted the Bloom puppet.

"Perfect. You're on art duty with Helia," Mabel said as she gave Bloom a job. "And don't worry, I got jobs for everyone if they want."

"I'll do it, only so I can avoid being possessed again," Dipper said as Mabel patted him on the back.

"Trust me, Bill's gone and no other demon or spirit would want to possess you," Mabel said. "Plus, I got a solo for you. Did you happen to bring your tuba?"

"Wait, he plays an instrument?" Musa said as she chippered up. "This is news to me."

"Yeah, but it's nothing fancy," Dipper said. "It's just a tuba."

"But that would be perfect for a song I have planned for Griselda," Mabel said, getting a devious idea.

"I hear her infamy has reached Cloud Tower," Mirta said. "I am so sorry that she has to terrorize you all."

"It's alright," Dipper said. "The issue here is that she should try to lessen her punishments."

"Her taking away our powers still haunts me to this day," Mabel said as she shivered. Pacifica hugs Mabel as Mirta confronts them.

"At least now you have your magic back," Mirta said. "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies."

"Me neither," Flora said, agreeing with her. "Tying them down and turning them into a tree, sure, but never taking away magic."

"Remind me never to make you mad," Helia said.

"Same here," Mirta said.

"Trust me, you'll know when I'm mad," Flora said in a sing-song voice. Brandon saw this and was impressed how one fairy could bring together people from all 3 schools to a common project. He did not expect them to put on a play, but he was impressed with Mabel's cutesy charm. As all of them were talking, the 3 pets came out and the other members of the play were in awe at how cute they were, temporarily distracting them.

"Aw, they're so cute!" Mirta said as she went down to pet Waddles.

"I think Waddles likes you," Mabel said, smiling.

"Hi there, Waddles," Mirta said. "I'm Mirta Offvision, the witch of illusions."

"Wait, illusions?" Dipper asked. "I know a superhero friend back on earth who can make illusions."

"Wait, you don't mean the bee girl from the Day of the Rose," Brandon said, sitting down and helping with the project.

"Nah, that's Queen Bee," Dipper said. "The one I'm referring to is Rena Rouge, the Fox of Illusions."

"Sounds like she and I would get along just fine," Mirta said as the rest of them got back to work, and through the next week, the staff of the play was getting everything together. Roles were assigned, more people were added on like Sky and Riven, and everyone found their place, making sure to make Mabel's crazy dream into a magical reality.

And so, the day finally came when Mabel's play was going to premiere at Alfea, and everyone was invited from the three schools and through all of Magix. The seats were filled with fairies, witches, specialists, and everyone in between. Even Knut was there as he took up 2 seats on his own.

"Ugh, I can't believe Mabel made a play," Stormy said as she sat next to Icy and Darcy. "And even worse, Pacifica is part of the crew."

"Look at these listings," Darcy said. "The entire Winx Club and their specialist friends are all cast, alongside Pacifica and even Mirta."

"At least it's not Lucy," Icy said as she scoffed. "She still owes us after stabbing us in the back like that."

"I say we just sit back and enjoy the show," Knut said as he munched on some popcorn. "Popcorn, mistresses?"

"Ooh, yes please," Stormy said as she took a handful for herself. The other two Trix look at her. "What?"

Elsewhere in the audience, sat the Alfea staff, as Ford and Stan sat next to Faragonda and Griselda. They were excited to see this play come to fruition.

"I can't believe Mabel can make a play like this," Griselda said.

"You should have seen the play she put on over the summer," Stan said to her. "She did all of this to impress a boy she liked but turns out he likes kissing his own hands. It was a very weird time."

"I only saw videos of this, but let's hope it goes smoothly this time," Ford said.

"With Bill gone, this play should go off without a hitch," Faragonda said as she smiled. "Besides, It's nice to have the three schools working together on a project like so."

"When was the last time something like this happened?" Ford asked.

"Not since before Domino fell, that's for sure," Faragonda said as she grew upset, but was patted on her back by Stan.

"Cheer up, Fara," Stan said. "At least this time would be better... I think."

"Thank you, Stanley," Faragonda said, appreciating his new friendship with her. As they were talking, the lights started to dim and the stage started to light up, with the curtains starting to rise to showcase a backdrop of Magix City, and there were tons of sock puppets moving on their own with magic, with specialists on the bottom, witches in the middle, and fairies on the top.

"Magix City, a town filled with magic and happiness," Mabel began as she spoke through her puppet. "Through the sparkles of the fairies, to the hexes of the witches, and to the heroism of the specialists, we all have our own paths to take. But it doesn't mean we take them alone. Sometimes, these paths intersect, and when they do, new friendships are born! HIT IT!" As she said that, music started to play as the puppets started to dance and sing to the rhythm.

"Magix is totally the place to be, from the schools to the town to the sights you will see,

Where magic flows all around us, it is time to cast spells because...

This is Magix, a place to be who you want to be!

No threats, no foes, and no enemies.

This is Magix, a place to be who you want to be!

If you don't believe us, you will soon because THIS IS MAGIX, YEAH!"

As the song ended, there was rapturous applause as the puppets all started moving, with the fairies taking center stage and the specialist puppets and witch puppets moving off to the side. Soon the backdrop changed to that of Alfea, the first stop of Magix as the fairy puppets started flying around, this time with more of the other students as well.

"Hey look, there's me," Amaryl said.

"And there's me also," Francine said, pointing. As the stage was set, the Mabel puppet came on and started speaking again.

"First up in our Magix Tour is my school, where people like us learn to harness our powers in a positive way and become fairies," Mabel then spoke through her puppet. "Through Wizgiz's act of changing, to Palladium's journey to trust in one another, and even DuFour's special training methods, we were all guided by our lovely headmistress Faragonda."

"Oh this is beautiful," Faragonda whispered.

"But where am I?" Griselda whispered.

As the music began once more, it played a pretty melody worthy of fairies. This made some of the witches in the audience groan. And the singing then begins once more.

"Through the wings in which we fly, to be able to touch the sky,

To help us with why, we head to Alfea to be our guide.

Thanks to Alfea, we now know how we can help out

to fighting monsters, to helping people with their doubts

Through hard work and tons of practice with our powers

We will surely shine in our deepest hour.

Thanks to Alfea, we now know who we wanna be

We're fairies, and we will help as we please."

The audience then began clapping once more, but as they were doing so, a loud tuba melody started filling the air as one more puppet was showcased on stage. It was Griselda's puppet, and boy did she have some tunes of her own.

"Now hold it right there, you can't do as you please,

you need to follow rules to do what you need.

If you think you can go over my head, then you must be a fool

For nobody can trick Griselda the Ghool.

Just look at these dresses and these clothes.

They don't make any lessons grow.

If it were up to me, I would do as I please,

Then I will put them in matching uniforms as you can see.

If you think you can go over my head, then you must be a fool

For nobody can trick Griselda the Ghool."

As the song ended, there was another rapturous applause followed by some laughter from the Alfea students.

"I DO NOT SOUND LIKE THAT!" Griselda yelled out.

As people were calming down, Faragonda's puppet started flying towards Griselda's puppet.

"It's ok to help those in need, Griselda," Faragonda's puppet said. "But it is also important to be careful. Understanding how people act is a key part of life, even if you are showcasing tough love."

"I just want what's best for these fairies," Griselda's puppet said. "Sure my motives aren't popular, but they do help those in need, like Stella."

"Everyone at this school deserves to be at their best, Griselda," Faragonda's puppet said. "So why don't we think of a good way to teach together?"

"I would like that," Griselda's puppet said as the other fairies were lined up and ready to learn.

"What's first, Professor?" The fairy puppets said as the curtain closed, a voice could be heard.

"Attention, the show will hold a 15-minute intermission," the voice said. "So go to the bathroom, go grab a snack or stretch, and in 15 minutes, we will go to act 2 of this wonderful play."

In the backstage area, the actors and the staff were getting a lot of praise for their show that was admittingly thrown together at the last minute.

"I'm so proud of you, sweetie," Stan said as he was hugging his great niece. "I love the song about Griselda being a buzzkill."

"I am not a buzzkill," Griselda argued. "And do people really think that about me?"

"A little bit," Mabel said, not wanting to lie. "You're like my brother if he was a bigger stick in the mud."

"But I do it so I can teach you how to be better fairies," Griselda said as she thought about it. "But I will admit my methods are tough."

"There you go," Mabell said as she smiled.

"But do not do that again," Griselda said as she was annoyed.

"Don't worry, Miss G. That's the only song we have for you in the show," Mabel said as she was cautious, but was telling the truth. Elsewhere backstage were Bloom and Wendy, both exhausted from the show.

"Man, I've never had that much fun while doing a show," Bloom said as she was kind of proud of herself.

"Yeah, me too. And I've done one before back at home," Wendy said as she showed a pic on her phone. "Guess who was stuck as the main character of my school's performance of Pinocchio?"

"Oh wow, I've never seen any school do that before," Bloom said. "They usually do the stereotypical musicals or Shakespeare plays."

"Yeah, my school wanted to do something different," Wendy said. "But at least it earned me some coolness points. It's how I met one of my friends, Thompson, who played that puppet maker guy."

"Huh, small world," Bloom said.

"You said it, Bloom," Wendy said as she gave her some Pitt Cola. "You said it."

In another part of the school, Dipper, who was on his break from the show, saw Darcy snoop around backstage and decided to follow her without getting caught. "What is she up to?" Dipper thought to himself as Darcy was struggling a bit like she had a massive headache. Dipper followed her outside as Darcy turned around with intent.

"I knew you were following me, Dipper," Darcy said as she charged her magic.

"Whatever you're doing, I won't let you ruin the show," Dipper said as he charged his magic up while transforming. Darcy saw his flames and immediately had to hold her head from the immense pain. Dipper was conflicted. She was always a nuisance to Dipper and his group, but he can't help but feel bad for this. This was not a headache caused by any known sickness. "Darcy?" Dipper had to ask. Darcy then looked up, but she had glowing purple eyes and was chuckling in a voice that was not hers.

"Well well well," 'Darcy' said. "If it ain't the little flame boy."

"Crap, she's possessed," Dipper said as he knew exactly what this meant, but then 'Darcy' blasted Dipper, but he blocked it. "FIREWALL! Sorry, Darcy or whatever inside you is, but you can't be allowed to hurt my sister or anyone."

"That's where you're wrong, flame boy," 'Darcy' said as she started to levitate and laugh, but not in the way Dipper knew of it. "I want to hurt everyone because of the power you possess. You and the other two."

"The other two?" Dipper asked. "What exactly do you mean?"

"That's for me to know, and you to never find out about!" 'Darcy' said as she flew to Dipper, but was shot down with a non-lethal stun blast. Dipper turned around and saw his Grunkle Ford with a raygun.

"Grunkle Ford!" Dipper said, happy to see him.

"Stay back from her, Dipper," Ford said. "She's not who she seems."

"Yeah, tell me about it," Dipper said as he flew over to him. "Is she going to be ok?"

"She should be fine," Ford said. "She'll be sore for a while, but whatever is possessing her shouldn't try to possess her again."

"Guhhhh..." Darcy said, now back in control. "What happened?" She looked up and saw Dipper and Ford and realized something bad was happening.

Her grip on Liliss was weakening. She's pissed she doesn't have what she longs for, and she's taking it out on her descendants.

"Are you ok?" Ford asked of her as Darcy grunted.

"This has nothing to do with you, old timer," Darcy said, getting up. "And you, Dipper, I will take you down one day, just not today."

"We'll see about that, Voidy," Dipper said, mocking her back as Darcy stormed off. "At least that went well."

"Too well, if you ask me," Ford said. "What was that back then with your magic being the same as two others?"

"I think she was referring to the fact that Mabel and I, alongside this other Earth girl named Bloom, have the same powers," Dipper said as he summoned some fire. "All 3 of us are fairies of fire."

"Fairies of fire..." Ford said as he inspected his flame. Before he could see any more, the intercom started chiming.

"Attention. The intermission is ending in 5 minutes," The voice called out. "Repeat, the intermission is ending in 5 minutes."

"Oh crap!" Dipper said as he turned back to normal.

"You go on ahead, Dipper," Ford said. "You don't want to be late with Mabel's show, do you?"

"See you inside," Dipper said as he rushed back in. Ford couldn't help but ponder some things in his mind about what had happened.

"There's so many things that could be happening," Ford said. "Why would a witch ghost want fairy fire? It's not like it's THEM, right?"

Back inside, the play resumed once more, and this time, showcased the darkness that is Cloud Tower and its many different witches flying around. Mabel's puppet then came around and flew to the side of the set.

"These here are the witches of Cloud Tower," Mabel said through her puppet. "Don't let their appearances fool you. They may look mean and scary, but witches deserve just as much respect as fairies and specialists. They help maintain the balance of negativity and hexes that the universe can thrive off of. And plus, a very special witch goes here." As Mabel said that, Pacifica's puppet floated down and gave the puppet Mabel a kiss on the cheek, earning some cooing from the audience.

"A fairy and a witch? Together?" Lucy whispered. "I don't know how they do it."

"Really, Mabel?" Stormy said as Darcy groaned from the events during the intermission.

"Please stop making loud noises," Darcy said, in pain. As she said that, another musical number came on, making the witch of darkness groan even more.

"Out of the shadows and into the light

We will give those a very good fright

Eye of newt, tail of owl, and maybe some of these

If you think you know better, then Witch Please.

We cast curses, we cast hexes

We may be powerful, and the best

Cauldron of iron, fill it with bee's knees

If you think you know better, then Witch Please."

With the song over, the audience started cheering for them as the witches were thoroughly impressed with how they are represented.

"That... didn't suck," One witch said.

"Yeah, this was such a bop," Another witch said.

"Not bad, Mabel," Stormy said as she ate her food. "Not bad." As the stage changed once more, it showcased Red Fountain in all its glory. Specialist puppets were sparring with one another, some were doing routine exercises, and some were being trained by its staff.

"Remember, my specialists," Saladin's puppet said. "Honesty through victory!"

"Yes, headmaster!" all the Specialist puppets said in unison. The specialists in the audience were impressed with how accurate the training was on stage. As that was happening, Mabel's puppet flew down and spoke once more.

"And this, my audience, is the last stop on our tour: Red Fountain," Mabel's puppet said. "This here is where hot guys go to train to become warriors of their homeworlds. It's mostly a military camp with a lot of drills, classes, hard work, and cute guys working out." Mabel then flew to one of the Specialist puppets and introduced her. "This is Wendy, one of the coolest Specialists around."

"Nice to meet you all," Wendy's puppet said as she fended off 3 others at the same time. As Mabel then flew off, another song was coming on, and this was in the tune of a boyband song as all the Specialists started singing along.

"Don't worry, about me. As long as you can see

We're here to save the day.

We fight, we rise, we master the blade,

We're the pride of Red Fountain!

We may be disciplined to hell and back,

But it was worth it when we went on the attack!

We fight, we rise, we master the blade,

We're the pride of Red Fountain!"

After the song was finished, the audience clapped once more as the specialists were in awe at how accurate this was.

"No wonder why they got so many Specialists on the cast. They got it exactly right!" One of the Specialists said as Saladin nodded in approval.

"It was a nice performance," Saladin said. "Through the song was a bit much." As the audience was clapping, the stage changed once more to that of the starting set from the beginning of the play as all the puppets came back to do one last gathering.

"Thank you, thank you all for this wonderful tour throughout Magix City," the Mabel puppet said. "I hope you all had a nice time exploring the three amazing schools, but I do want to give a special shout-out to every single person living in this incredible world of Magix! But before we go, there's just one thing left. HIT IT!" As she said that, the music began once more as all the puppets started dancing and singing their final song.

After the final song was sung, everyone got up and started to cheer for the play as the puppets started to fly all the cast and crew came on stage and took their bows. First, it was the six Specialists, then the two witches of Pacifica and Mirta, and then the Winx Club with Dipper and Mabel front and center. Needless to say this play was a massive success and everyone that worked on this play feltl proud.

After the show had ended, a lot of the students went backstage to give Mabel and all the staff their praise.

"YOU WERE ALL SO AMAZING!" Genesis said as she was excited to see such a show taking place.

"I felt every minute of the excitement coming on," A Specialist said.

"Well, we did try our best," Timmy said as he was blushing.

"Yeah, and I especially love that romp about Griselda," An Alfea student said. "Especially that instrument used for her solo."

"Well, that's called a tuba, and yours truly plays it," Dipper said as he took his tuba and started playing it.

"Never knew the Winx Club had two musical fairies," a witch said. "Seriously, you two did great with your skills."

"It was all a team effort, right Mabel?" Musa said as Mabel nodded.

"That's right, a team!" Mabel said as Wizgiz walked in with a camera.

"Excuse me, but would it be ok if I took a picture of the cast and crew together?" Wizgiz said. "It's for the yearbook!"

"What do you say guys," Mabel said as they all agreed to the pic as they all gathered together.

"Say 'Magix'," Wizgiz said as he took the picture.

"MAGIX!" They all said. All 8 fairies, 6 specialists, and 2 witches said as the picture was then taken, as this memory was created forever.

Soon, the others started heading out. The specialists were loaded up in their ships and left, the civilians were in their rides and heading back into town, and the witches had their choice of flying back or taking the bus back. For Pacifica and Mirta, they decided to fly back as the rest of Trix took the bus, making sure Darcy was ok from her outburst.

"Are you sure they don't mind you flying beside me?" Mirta said as she was worried for Pacifica.

"It'll be fine," Pacifica said as she looked down. "Besides... I need to keep my eye on them, anyway."

"What do you mean?" Mirta asked as Lucy flew up.

"Hey, can I speak to my girlfriend alone?" Lucy asked.

"Sure," Pacifica said as she started to fly away. "But we do need to talk, Mirta."

"Of course," Mirta said as Pacifica flew away. Lucy saw this and was confused.

"What was all that about?" Lucy asked.

"She's just worried for her witchy sisters, is all," Mirta replied as she looked at Lucy in the eyes. "But are you ok?"

"Oddly, I am," Lucy said. "That play wasn't half bad."

"Aw thank you," Mirta said as she smiled. "But it's really Mabel who you need to thank."

"Mabel, huh?" Lucy said as she thought about her. "Well, she is pretty cool for a fairy."

"If you want, I can introduce you to her," Mirta said. Lucy knew that Mirta wanted to make witches and fairies into closer friends, and her helping with the play did help her agenda. Regardless of Lucy's past thoughts, she decided to play along.

"Sure, that would be nice," Lucy said as she held Mirta's hand as they all flew back to Cloud Tower.

Later that night, both Faragonda and Ford were inside her office as they were discussing something serious.

"I want to send a message to Griffin that one of her students is in possession of something... old," Ford said as he recounted.

"It could have been the lighting, Ford," Faragonda tried talking him out of it.

"You didn't listen to the voice coming out of her mouth, Fara," Ford said. "I have a feeling that this could be bigger than we thought."

"You don't mean... the ancestral witches?" Faragonda said. "They disappeared when Dominio fell." This gave Ford some thought. He was there when Domino fell and was there when things went to hell because of those witches, their boss, and a wizard who was there as well.

"But where did they go?" Ford asked as this even stumped Faragonda. "Which is why I want to request something."

"Anything," Faragonda said as Ford took a deep breath.

"I think it might be time to reassemble the Company of Light," Ford asked Faragonda.
