Sora and Ari Hauntington Part 2

Man, what a night.

First, Draculaura and Frankie were announced as student council co-presidents, soon everyone found out that Gob had returned all the stolen food with help from Sora, then the students got excited for the dance, and of course everything came to a halt after Moanica and her Zomboys disrupting the dance with some Heartless.

But everything ended smoothly thanks to Sora and the Ghoul Squad. They even got a private performance from Ari. Speaking of….

Sora now finds himself getting cornered by five angry ghouls.

"You knew that Ari was Tash this whole time!?" Clawdeen nearly barked.

Draculaura then asks, "Why didn't you tell us?"

"Well, you see…" the Normie rubs the back of his head. "I sorta promised that I wouldn't."

Cleo stuck her nose up. "You have any idea how much trouble you'd save us if you were upfront about this revelation from the start."

Sora then scratches the side of his head. "A lot I guess? But then I would have lost Ari's trust."

"And that's what we like about you," Frankie shakes her head. "You always think about others first. Even when you don't always think things through."

The group is then approached by a certain ghost. "Hello, ghouls," Ari floats around them. "Mind if I have a chat with Sora?"

The ghouls look at one another and Draculaura says. "Sure!" and everyone stands there in silence for a few moments. "Oh! You mean alone." The vampire realizes as the ghost nods. "Okay!" she and Frankie starts pulling the rest of the ghouls away.

As soon as Ari was sure that everyone else was out of earshot, the ghost turned to Sora. "You really didn't tell anyone."

"Of course," the Normie flashes his goofy smile. "I made a promise, didn't I?"

The ghoul giggles. "You did. You know? You could have saved everyone trouble if you had told me about this place," she gestures around them.

Sora scratches his head. "I suppose so. But that would have beaten the purpose of a secret monster high school."

"I guess that makes sense."

"So, are you going back?"

"I have to," Ari shakes her head. "I still have other shows to perform."

"That's not what I meant."

Ari turns to him and blinks. "Huh?"

"Are you going back to being Tash?"

The ghoul thought for a moment. "Seeing all these Monsters standing up for who they thought I was a Normie has inspired me. If they could do that for one Normie, then perhaps there are some Normies that would be willing to do that for a Monster. I think I'll continue to be me. The real me. The Normies might think that I'm just doing some stage act but at least the Monsters would have a representative out there."

"I can't think of anyone better than you, Ari."

Ari looks away as a blush appears on her face. "Thanks, Sora," the ghost starts floating away. "Hey, Sora," she turns back. "I still have a tour to finish, but I do plan on coming back here. I'd love to be part of Monster High. I was wondering if you would like to get a mummy mocha or something when I do?"

Sora blinked for a moment before smiling. "I'd like that."

The ghoul returns the smile before giving the boy a peck on the cheek. "I'll see you then, Sora."

"I look forward to it."

With that, the ghost makes her departure, unsure how she's going to explain to her crew what went wrong. Maybe she could pass off Moanica and her Zomboys as some eccentric fans who took things a little too far.

Sora watches Ari leave before turning around to see all the Monsters had stopped mingling at some point just to watch him and the ghost. The Ghoul Squad seemed excited for the boy while Deuce and Raythe were giving him a thumbs up for approval.

NOTE: I know it's kinda been awhile, but I finally have another entry. I'm trying to get back into the groove of writing any of my stories. But there's a lot going on in my life that any time I get the swing of things I fall out of it all over again. I really can't promise when any new chapters for any of my stories will be added.

NOTE 2: I would like to address a request for Amanita chapter. I looked into it and I can't find any good qualities for her. I rewatched her webisodes and reviewed her journal. I'm not sure Amanita would be a ghoul that Sora would date. She's just too mean and selfish. Some might make an argument about me having a Toralei chapter, but she has her moments when she's a good person and had seemed to be improving near the end of Gen 1. Sora focuses on the good in people, so I found him and Toralei to be a plausible couple. Maybe in the future I could figure something out for Amanita but for now, a One-Shot focusing on her is shelfed for now.

NOTE 3: I do plan on getting back to the pairings that I've hinted at back in the Lilith chapter. This was just the freshest idea and really wanted to get it out.
