Angel: Heads up, this season took me the longest time to write, edit, and proofread. Mainly because of the storylines and character development, sooo…it's a lot to unpack, especially in the second half. But it's not going to be nearly as hard as…a specific episode in season 7 that did break me. And I am dreading having to rewatch that one because of that last shot. I'm being vague on purpose so I don't spoil for those who aren't familiar even though everyone was talking about it both from the manga and the episode.

Pretty sure the only OVA I'm missing is the one that comes out with the 4th movie, which I don't have online access to either right now. If you somehow missed the OVA chapters, use the chapter directory to find the rest.

No, I'm not including the Team-Up Missions. Once again, I don't own any of the spinoff manga. Even if I purchased them, I'm way too busy to sit down and read them all the way through. And I'm totally fine with just doing the main story, if that isn't evident enough. Even when the Vigilantes spinoff anime is released, I don't plan on writing it because I have written over 200 chapters of story for the franchise. I would rather not triple that doing every single entry from MHA.

This is a superhuman society, where about 80 percent of people are born with an uncanny ability known as a Quirk.

These powers can range from ice, fire, gravity, super speed, and more.

Not everyone uses their powers for good, though.

Even with the proper counseling...or sometimes, a lack of it, there are people will use their powers for evil.

Which is why the world needed a new profession: the hero.

That's right, actual superheroes who use their powers to protect the world.

My name is Izuku Midoriya, and I inherited a secret Quirk called One for All from All Might.

And my name is Izuka Midoriya, and I always had a Quirk called Galaxy...but I didn't use it to its potential growing up.

That's how we were enrolled in the hero course at UA.

And then we started to hone our Quirks together!

After a series of incidents that put us up against the worst of the worst, our incredible classmates and the two of us got our provisional hero licenses.

We've met villains of pure evil...and sometimes just out of not having anywhere else to turn. Getting our provisional licenses wasn't easy for all of us. I was one of three who didn't pass the first time after all.

We had our hands full at the end of our first year at UA. Which is why we didn't realize the evil quietly growing in the shadows...until it was too strong to ignore.

In that first year, the ones who opposed us the most...had a lot of time to take their previous failures and use them to improve significantly.

While out on his daily run, Izuku looked towards the distance, knowing that they had a lot to face in the near future...meanwhile, Izuka was in the common room by herself, looking out the window. Katsuki placed down a bowl of breakfast just for her and she gave him a grateful small smile. Both of them then looked out the window together, knowing that there was a lot approaching them and the heroes...

"Welcome, and thank you for coming," Re-Destro spoke up to the hundreds of people in the room. "Liberation warriors! I am Re-Destro! It is a pleasure to see you." Even Dr. Ujiko was listening to his speech. "From this moment, the Liberation Army recognizes Tomura Shigaraki as Grand Commander! Now, the name please, Tomura Shigaraki!"

"The Paranormal Liberation Front!" Shigaraki announced as the other members of the League walked on stage. Skeptic and Geten had also joined. "We got rid of the term villain and expanded on the whole meta angle to be a little more inclusive. The 9 people on stage are my lieutenants." And this did include Re-Destro, since he was the one who had the army to begin with. "Teams will be assigned to them based on our needs. Anyway, the name's the same as this hand...A decoration," He removed the hand that was on his face, revealing a small smirk. He also had bandages around his face as he chuckled. "We'll do what we want."

The whole crowd erupted into cheers.

'I'm too late!' Hawks thought in a panic, as he was also in the crowd. He wondered if it was even worth it anymore to continue being undercover. This was serious business now, and he couldn't pretend like it wasn't. 'This superhuman society may be overflowing with heroes, but Shigaraki has gathered so much power that it might be impossible to stop him. Come on, Hawks!' He stared at the villain leader, knowing that he was a lot stronger now... 'If you're too slow, it'll be the end of Japan.'

Shigaraki stared at the amount of damage his arm took in the fight with Re-Destro. He was starting to look like Dabi, just without the staples. "Your Quirk blossomed in the Deika City fight," Dr. Ujiko pointed out, as Shigaraki was looking at the remaining hand that he had. "Now, you can obliterate not only something you touch, but also whatever is connected to it. You have become the embodiment of destruction."

Shigaraki gave an evil smirk towards his hand. "I won't underestimate heroes anymore. I'll use all the power I can get to destroy All Might and his legacy. Our next fight's his last. As for Izuka Midoriya...she reminds me a lot of someone I used to know," He glared at the hand, knowing that Izuka was older than Izuku. And it pissed him off how much she resembled Hana to him...sometimes he thought of them as the same person even. "So, I'll be taking great joy in killing the Symbol of Light with my own two hands..."

A decisive battle is upon us. An all-out war between the villains of the Paranormal Liberation Front and the heroes sworn to protect this world, is about to begin.

We've spent quite some time training for this moment. Thanks to the work-studies, our own abilities would be tested against the most powerful villains of Japan.

All the hero course students and heroes were looking out to the distance from a mountain.

One month earlier

It's been a week since I passed the safety commission my hint.

Hawks was currently talking to some people outside.

The word Hospital.

"HEY! Hawks!" A voice called out, and he turned to see Twice heading his way. Out of everyone from the League, he had the most communication with Twice over Dabi. Dabi in the meantime was keeping his distance from Hawks. But having a close connection to the developments of the Paranormal Liberation Front was still a big help for Hawks.

"Hey there, Twice. Sup?" Hawks greeted casually while watching the man run up to them.

"I need some help, pronto!" He urged to the hero. "Crap, you've got Carmine guys with you? Uh, could we..." He pointed to the side, as he wanted to talk in private.

Hawks gave a sheepish smile, turning to the men he was talking to. "Excuse me for a moment," He handed one of them his coffee can and waved. "Start talking," He smiled as he approached.

The two then walked down a hallway together to speak alone. "I gotta come up with something to use as a credo," The League member started off to the winged hero.

"Why do you need my help?" Hawks couldn't help but wonder. He figured that Twice would rather talk to his League allies rather than him. He knew them longer than Hawks, after all. Not that Hawks was complaining, but it was still an odd choice from his perspective. If anything, he thought that Himiko Toga was the first person Twice would turn to for help. He got along arguably the best with her after all thanks to the Hassaikai raid and the Liberation attack.

"Spinner and Compress are in meetings with Re-Destro all day. Talk, talk, talk," He personally found the meetings to be boring, and he only attended them when he had to for a full-house meeting of every important member. "Giran and Dabi couldn't care less. And Toga's too cute to ask. Please, Sensei," Twice pleaded to the number two hero, clasping his hands. "Help a confused man out! Sanctum just said, there are still troops who don't trust us. Even if you're just a figurehead, they should hear some credo or mission statement from you, and it better be inspiring!" He had on a stuffy voice to mimic the man, and then rubbed his chin. "And the only thing I could think was, uhh, I gotta take a dump! And that's when I ran out here to find you!" He figured Hawks could help since he was the number 2 hero, and knew how to charm people. Twice had seen Hawks interact with others, so he had a feeling that the hero was good with PR stuff. And his popularity was also a major factor.

Hawks laughed out loud from the story once he heard it. Even if he was still undercover at this point, he did find it hilarious. "You actually said that to ol' Sanctum?" He wondered with an amused voice. "That dude is one of the founding members of the Liberation Army."

The Paranormal Liberation Front has been split into regiments. These groups specialize in different areas and are led by members of the League of Villains and high-ranking brass from the old MLA. The three strongest members of each regiment serve as aides to the lieutenants. All but one of the aides previously headed bases across the country. Their duties kept them elsewhere, so they didn't participate in the revival party in Deika City. Still, their abilities surpass those of the average hero.

There were four total regiments: Guerilla Warfare in the color code Violet, led by Dabi and Geten. Tactics was led by Twice himself, with Sanctum being the highest advisor of that regiment. Their color code was black. Intelligence had the color code Carmine, led by Himiko and Skeptic. And finally, Support was brown, led by Spinner and Mr. Compress. Some team-ups were more contentious than others, but they all had a common goal, so they would have to bear it.

"Lemme think a second," Hawks murmured while rubbing his chin. 'If they move first, we'll lose. I've been under strict surveillance since I came here. The only way I've been able to get a clear idea of the organization's structure is because of the intelligence skills the safety commission drilled into me when I was a kid. One thing is obvious. There's hostility and resentment toward the current system.' He knew that anything he said, he had to be careful about to maintain his cover...and he already knew that just by overhearing conversations, that some Meta Liberation leaders like Skeptic or Trumpet, were still not happy about Shigaraki taking over. Naturally, they would've felt better with Re-Destro leading them instead of him being essentially a servant to Shigaraki. The former Liberation leader did have more overall experience compared to the leader of the League of Villains. It didn't matter if Shigaraki earned the respect, to people like those two, they didn't care. But if it was something Re-Destro agreed with, they were going to follow through with the system...reluctantly.

"I think I got somethin'," The number two hero spoke up after a few seconds. "The freedom of an individual reigns supreme and the existing status quo must be destroyed. A little wordy, but I think it would work."

"Perfect!" Twice complimented gratefully to him.

"Oh, yeah. And we must be completely devoted to Re-Destro," Hawks added in, which did put off Twice, since...he wasn't the biggest fan of Re-Destro. Or his top-ranked people, at all. But similar to Skeptic and Trumpet, he put up with it since he was still a lieutenant. Although he would rather stay biased because of them tracking his friends like creeps, ambushing them, and hurting Himiko. "I mean, it's because of his bloodline that we were able to band together in the first place," He reminded the villain wide-eyed. Similar to Twice, he wasn't really a fan of Re-Destro or what he was saying right now. But the future of society depended on him maintaining his cover. So he had to seem as enthusiastic as possible saying things that he was internally opposed against. If he didn't, Twice might get suspicious, and it would also throw off Skeptic.

"Uhhh, maybe we could add that," Twice remarked, although he was having second thoughts about the whole thing. "I'll think about it. We should totally talk that guy up!" He struck an excited pose. "Good call! Thanks for your help!"

"Anytime, friend!" Hawks called out with a wave while watching Twice leave...having a stoic look on his face.

The future looks dire. What they're really trying to accomplish by breaking the status quo...is the annihilation of every hero in existence. And they'll most likely start or end with Izuka Midoriya...given how she's the most spoken target with the League. They'll attack major cities across the country. Citizens will be left without leaders. Chaos will ensue. Then, Re-Destro and the Hearts and Mind Party will swoop in. They'll hand out weapons and encourage self-defense. It'll be like when Quirks first appeared and laws became meaningless. Shigaraki will ascend a throne of rubble...and rule a world of anarchy. Which really means...the second coming of All for One.

He clenched an angry fist, hating that he was being watched. And that he had to sit back and watch all of this happen without doing a thing to stop it. He knew what he was going in for when he agreed to do this, but...it still went against his ideals. And the thought of a second All for One was very daunting...if he didn't do something by the time they would attack, the world would suffer again...

The end of Japan as we know it.

Twice then came to a stop. "Hey," He turned around to point at Hawks. "You know, you're the best. Especially to me. Glad I got such a nice pal."

Hawks gave him a small smile. "Right back atcha." He kept his smile on his face to keep up appearances.

All of this came into focus thanks to you...Jin Bubaigawara. When I heard you'd overcome your trauma...I feared what you might do. You went from being a petty criminal to a one-man army. The person we needed to keep the closest eye on. But I also knew...that you were a friendly guy.

He knew that despite the League having Dabi and Shigaraki, the two strongest people, he fixated on Twice because of his personality. Even if Twice would contradict himself a lot of the time...he also still acted like an actual person to balance it out. Something Hawks couldn't say about the others.

Twice sat in front of a whiteboard, Hawks acting like a teacher of sorts to him of what the hero knew. "You sure know a ton about the Liberation Army for being a pro hero," He pointed out in a bit of surprise, as he didn't think Hawks would have so much information. Slidin' Go didn't even know much in comparison. "Why is that?"

"Because I believe in what they preach," Hawks sent him a grin. "The world I once dreamed of turned out to be a birdcage that kept me prisoner. I wanna fly free. But I can't do that as things are now." Given what he said to Endeavor and Izuka, he wasn't technically lying, but Twice didn't need to know that. He just had to slightly change his words in order for it to make sense for the question.

"Ah, jeez, man!" Twice cried out at this, stretching his arms. "We gotta get you in front a' Shigaraki so he knows you're legit!"

"Seriously," Hawks turned back to the whiteboard. "Kinda weird I haven't gotten to talk to him."

"That's because he's off getting stronger," Twice revealed, as Shigaraki was currently busy with Dr. Ujiko. And he said to the others that it would take a while before he'd be back. "He'll be in the mountains near Kyoto for four months. Whoops, that's a secret," He put a finger in front of his lips. "Though I'm sure that long-haired spy heard me. You big creep!" He wouldn't be surprised to find out if Skeptic was still keeping an eye on him or the League after the merger. Since he didn't like Shigaraki now being the prime leader and all... "Anyway, I don't think it matters if you know since you're working so hard for us," He stood up, catching Hawks off guard at the statement. "We're a lot alike."

"The best people are those who help their friends," Twice stated to Hawks back outside. "Don't you agree? Yeah, I thought so."

"Hm," Hawks let out a small chuckle; it almost made him feel a little bad for having to keep up this facade, since Twice could've easily been someone else if not for the League. But things just didn't work out that way...

"Let's fly where we want together!"

'I was right. Friendly...and far too trusting.'

Even though Twice was still a villain at the end of the day...he kinda wished he didn't have to manipulate him. Maybe once the heroes stopped the operations, Twice could still have a chance...wishful thinking, perhaps.

Dr. Ujiko was humming to himself while walking down the hallway.

"You sure seem happy, Doctor," A nurse from Jaku Hospital noticed his presence and greeted him with a smile. "Good morning!"

He let out a small laugh, hands behind his back. "And to you!" Although no one in the hospital was aware of what he was doing behind their backs...

Kyudai Garaki. Quirkless. The founder of Jaku General Hospital and its current chairman of the board.

Just about anyone from the medical field is aware of him and his achievements...he left no need to look further into him because of that.

He championed the idea of Quirk-based community medical care and started doing philanthropic work soon after opening the hospital. That meant building orphanages and nursing homes throughout the country, as well as partnering with private hospitals and clinics.

You could say he was a pillar for Quirks and medical care after all of his efforts. However...it still didn't hide the fact that he was really good at keeping his big secret life away from the public. He's both clever and frightening at the same time. Especially since he interacts with civilians every single day.

On the surface, the doctor comes across as a kind man. He's respected and even admired.

If only the rest of the hospital knew the truth...that they were working with a villain in plain sight.

"So this is the monster," Locklock looked at a file of Dr. Garaki, narrowing his eyes. Somehow, the police had managed to find his records as well as his ties to the League. "A true villain. All for One's most trusted agent." After all, if it wasn't for Garaki, the League wouldn't be escalating as they had been lately. All for One may be the most terrifying villain in Japan and All Might's greatest enemy...but Garaki was almost just as worse.

"Right," Mandalay agreed with him while standing with Tiger and Pixie Bob. "And he's the mad scientist who bioengineered those Nomu abominations...including the one in the likeness of a UA student." She clamped her mouth shut, wishing that they knew the information sooner.

"How are you so certain he's the one to blame?" Endeavor glared a little, surrounded by Kido and Onima. Garaki was careful in his tracks, to the point where there were only good things found about him. So he wasn't sure what tied Garaki to the Paranormal Liberation Front.

"I sent someone in undercover after receiving intel from the safety commission," Naomasa Tsukauchi informed the group, having gotten the information thanks to Hawks. "He found a restricted area within the hospital. None of the staff knew its purpose. This off-limits area has one entrance: through the morgue. Garaki is the only person who ever comes and goes. If you need more evidence..." He pulled up photos of Garaki going inside of the secret room. There was a strange creature right next to him that looked vaguely familiar. "This picture's from our man inside."

Pixie Bob flinched in alarm upon seeing the unknown creature. "Is that a tiny Nomu?!"

"It would be easy to arrest the doctor since he's a public figure," Naomasa informed, ignoring the question. "But if we act rashly, the Paranormal Liberation Front will enact countermeasures." Gran Torino, Present Mic, and even Mr. Aizawa were listening. Present Mic freshened his breath for his vocal cords. "The last thing we want is a repeat of the widespread devastation in Hosu or Kamino." Other heroes in the room all looked determined to stop them. "Those events traumatized the public and we lost too many good people on our side. Sure, we were able to apprehend All for One. But it was at the cost of our number one, and it could've killed the future of a UA student from the hero course. All Might was forced to retire." All of them silently vowed to keep fighting as heroes, including for their former number one. Well...Endeavor not so much. "Therefore, we'll face this situation with every available resource at our disposal. First, the pros will be split into two groups."

Those groups were called Team Endeavor and Team Edgeshot. "Team Endeavor will be in charge of securing Kyudai Garaki at Jaku Hospital. Team Edgeshot will storm the Gunga Mountain Villa we believe to be the Paranormal Liberation Front's hideout. These two events will happen simultaneously. In addition, hero course students will be deployed as logistical support for both teams. They'll assist with civilian evacuation and rescue if the encounters start to escalate. We expect substantial resistance from the villains, their supporters, and the Nomu, but we cannot wait any longer. If we don't act now, they will prevail. The doctor, his pets, Shigaraki—every villain must fall." Naomasa then narrowed his eyes. "Heroes, the idea is to take out the entire Paranormal Liberation Front in one sweep!" And so, every hero assigned was deployed out to head for their locations.

At the Gunga Mountain Villa, Edgeshot was looking over the place from a mountain. "Our intel states that the lieutenants have gathered for a routine meeting. Every one of them should be inside this mansion." His team included Shishido, Fat Gum, Tamaki, Gang Orca, Midnight, Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, Ms. Joke, Kinoko, Juno, Denki, and many more. Fat Gum smiled with his hands on Tamaki's head. "Our enemy has someone with a warping power, but apparently that creature is at the hospital. As long as he's kept out of the equation, these foes will have nowhere to run."

"Um..." Kinoko fiddled with her hands nervously. "Is it a good idea for us to be this close?"

"What's wrong?" Juno asked his classmate in concern.

"Doesn't the League of Villains have it out for UA students?" She looked up, knowing that Class 1-A had been targeted many times already in just the first year alone. And with some of them in the team, they would no doubt target them first. She didn't want to see any of them get hurt...while no one from Class B directly interacted with the League, they would still be recognizable. Kinoko wasn't sure if she could handle losing any of her classmates, or someone being kidnapped again like the Kamino Incident.

Midnight, having overheard, walked over to them. "They've become too big of a problem," She informed; they needed as many people they could recruit since the Paranormal Liberation Front had some powerhouses. Especially over the amount of time that they had to get stronger. The heroes couldn't keep giving them any more time to prevail.

"Ms. Midnight," Juno greeted her politely.

"Now that they've amassed so much raw power," Midnight bent down to the girl. "Shigaraki will move to dominate society. That means the entire world is in danger, not just the school." Kinoko let out a small gasp, clutching her fists tighter. Midnight reached out to grab them gently. "Don't you worry. We just want you to help us a little at the very beginning of the raid," She gave the girl a reassuring smile that the students wouldn't face the League directly. "After that, you'll go to the rear."

"Whatever you need," Kinoko smiled gratefully at her. The thought of having to face the Paranormal Liberation Front was frightening to say the least.

Denki stared after her in concern while standing next to Fumikage, knowing that Class 1-B didn't have as much experience fighting anyone that was from the League...and then looked freaked out as he realized something. Hold up! Why would they put me on the front lines of this smackdown?! Aww, I should be back with the others! I never knew I could miss my stupid classmates so much! Now he was the one scared given that the lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front would recognize him and Fumikage immediately. And he had heard the stories about them from his classmates, which further scared him.

In the rear guard for Team Edgeshot, it consisted of Shihai, Setsuna, Momo, Mashirao, Mina, Hanta, Kyoka, Mezo, Jurota, Tetsutetsu, Minoru, Eijiro, Yuga, Nirengeki, Rikido, and other heroes.

"Doesn't feel right being kept outta the action," Eijiro commented, knowing that as a shield, he could've benefitted the front. And he had faced villains both on his own and with his class like Rappa. "Especially with those two drafted." He just felt like the two could use some backup if needed.

"Honenuki and Komori from Class B were also taken to the front," Momo reminded her classmate. "Kaminari's Electrification. Tokoyami's Dark Shadow. Honenuki's Softening. And Komori's Mushroom. These are all Quirks that can be used to subdue large groups of enemies quickly and from afar. Mido should know, she worked with Komori during our joint training to help capture the opposing team that I was a part of." Everyone stared at her attentively, knowing that she had her whole faith in not just Izuka, but everyone out there. "We have no idea what this army is capable of. As such, the pros are relying on our brave classmates to take out as many opponents as possible from the mission outset."

"Sounds smart, I guess," Minoru commented with a small frown. "But what if they end up getting their butts kicked?" He had more faith in Fumikage staying calm and combatting anything that came in his way. Denki...a little less so, especially since he was kind of cowardly at times. And like any other person with a Quirk, they still had limits that the villains might exploit to their advantage.

"We gotta have faith!" Toru spoke up in encouragement.

"Yeah, they're all great heroes," Mina agreed with a smile. "Even Kaminari." However, right about now, Denki looked like he was dreading the fight...

"Every auxiliary base has been surrounded," Edgeshot continued to brief his team. "No one will escape."

"This is nuts," Fat Gum remarked as they continued looking up ahead. "I can't believe we have info on the exact date and time of their meeting."

"It was him, wasn't it?" Endeavor asked knowingly, as he had a feeling on who was the spy for their side. Naomasa and the cat police officer looked up at him. The other members of the team were planning to head out to the Jaku Hospital. "He led us to these locations. So where is he now?" Ever since Hawks gave him the book...he found his behavior odd. And so he put two and two together. Although he was gonna yell at the hero later for involving Izuka during the Kyushu Incident, and if Hawks was told to bring her along. He should've known Hawks was doing something related to them since he hadn't seen the number two hero after being given the book.

"That's classified," Naomasa informed the hero.

Endeavor let out a huff. "Of course it is," As the doors opened, he stepped out. I've been preparing. Just as you told me to.

Hawks placed the book in his hand, while being cryptic about his message.

'We're ready, Hawks.'

"I don't think I've seen a single pro out today," A man noted of the odd lack of them while looking around. Usually they would've encountered at least a few in one day, but it was as if the heroes didn't exist. "There's usually a couple on patrol at least."

"Look!" His friend smiled while pointing up ahead to Slidin' Go. "There's one!"

Slidin' Go also noticed the absence of heroes today as he floated around. He knew of several agencies in the area that would be working right now, so it was weird. Clearly, something was going on that he didn't know about. Hey. Why am I the only hero around? Something's not right.

Suddenly, someone hugged him from the side, revealing to be Death Arms. "Guess we forgot to tell you the big news." Slidin' Go whimpered while looking up at him in fear. "You backstabbing Liberation scumbag," He glared down at the traitor hero, something that Hawks also informed the safety commission about. Luckily, Hawks had a secret communication system so that Slidin' Go wouldn't be tipped off.

Meanwhile, the rear guard of Team Endeavor were on the cliffs overlooking Jaku city. "The infiltration should begin shortly," Tenya spoke up to the team.

"Ah, man!" Katsuki groaned while adjusting his gauntlets, who...was not happy for his team placement to say the least. "Why the hell am I way back here playing support? I wanna be on the front line, damn it!"

"Remember, Bakugo, we only have provisional licenses," Shoto spoke up to his classmate; though this did nothing to ease Katsuki's anger.

"You shut your face!" He snapped towards the white/red haired boy.

"Please, we need to remain calm!" Tenya tried to ease Katsuki as well, to no avail.

"I don't think even I'd be able to calm him down this time..." Izuka scratched her cheek a bit nervously, having overheard them. She was with her brother, Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Koji. If he was pissed he wasn't able to fight any villains, then probably no one would be able to calm him down...not that many were successful to begin with.

"This is a gigantic operation. Coordination is going to be key," Izuku spoke up to the four, rubbing his chin in thought. He then smiled towards the others. "The best thing we can do to help is complete our assigned duties successfully."

All of them nodded in agreement, smiling back at him. "Mido...are you okay being in the back? I know that with them having your DNA, you'd wanna fight back," Ochaco pointed out, causing the girl to blink at her best friend.

"I am a little upset that I can't do that, but it's for the best I'd assume. So you guys don't have to worry, I'll be okay," She gave them a small smile. Because of her...past interactions with the League, she was forced to tell everyone in the operation about the DNA. Some were unsurprised, others were concerned, but she was just glad she didn't have to keep it a secret anymore. And luckily, they weren't treating her differently just because of the situation. The last thing she wanted was to distract anyone or make them feel like they needed to stop everything just because of her. Especially since she knew a certain someone would want to get his revenge personally after not seeing anyone from the League for so long...

"Right! We'll keep making sure that they don't get the chance to take it again," Izuku nodded in determination at his sister. Ever since Kamino...I felt like I failed her. I won't let that happen again. She would've done the same if it was me. I have so much I'm grateful for because of my big sister. So starting now, I'll make sure you're safe, Izuka!

"Mmhm!" The others nodded sharply, causing her to give a grateful grin.

"Thanks, guys," She told the four in a soft voice, glad that she had them to help.

A certain blond stared at them, furrowing his eyebrows towards Izuku specifically. He found the overprotectiveness a bit annoying. Don't tell me they're gonna start treating her like she needs to be protected. I've seen how hard she's worked, and she doesn't need anyone to drag her down. "Oi, you better not screw it up for us, Izuka," Katsuki spoke up, causing them to turn around as he approached. "Because I'm not your babysitter!"

"I've worked hard, Katsu!" Izuka pumped her fists in determination, looking up at him. "Don't worry, I can do this!"

He flinched and tried not to blush as the others stared at him, and he did not want to talk about this with anyone, much less in public. "I'm not worried, damn it!" The boy retorted back to her, grunting a bit. He just didn't want her holding the others back...or to let it slip that he was indeed concerned for her safety just a little.

"If you say so," Izuka blinked in a bit of confusion, wondering why he even told her he wasn't gonna babysit her in the first place.

"Right, sure," Shoto murmured while looking away as he didn't believe it, but wasn't going to say anything. He already knew of Katsuki's feelings towards the girl regardless of what the blond had to say ever since they went to Otheon. Ochaco and Tsuyu smiled in encouragement. Izuku just stared at his sister and Katsuki with shining eyes. Of course, he begged for every detail on their...date, and he was acting like a fanboy the whole time she explained...although she made him swear not to tell Katsuki she told him. His fanboy side was normal for her though, so it wasn't anything she wasn't used to.

It's so nice that Kacchan is invested for her safety! But I'm sure that he'll see that she's come a long way since first grade! He thought while remembering when Katsuki saved the girl from two fourth grader bullies as a kid. And he felt like he was gushing just like he would do with All Might so long ago...

"Right," Burnin pressed her hand to her comm, leading the team. "The heroes are moving in now! That's our cue!" And so, they started to fly off or run down the cliff depending on their Quirks. "Start evacuating residents block by block. Top speed!"

"Right!" All of them stated in unison.

It's really happening Izuku thought while running down the cliff.

From now on, every single citizen's life is in our hands, as well as their homes Izuka narrowed her eyes while flying on her star. We'll do our best to make sure that this battle has no citizen casualties! So that everyone can come home safe! That's part of what we're here to do as heroes.

At Jaku Hospital, Endeavor stomped a flaming foot inside. The staff looked up ahead in shock as heroes stormed in. "What is this?" One of the nurses gasped in confusion. They never had anything happen at Jaku Hospital until now, so it was immediately both confusing and concerning.

"Heroes!" Someone waved to them from a hall. "Quick, follow me!"

Endeavor glanced to the side. "Mirko. The morgue," He instructed the rabbit hero.

"On it!" She jumped past everyone and over some stupefied patients, going on her own since she was arguably the fastest hero on the team. Rabbit also gave her enhanced hearing and smelling. Plus, Endeavor wanted to handle some things first before they joined her.

"Everyone, please leave the building!" Mandalay instructed, causing the staff to look up in shock. "This area may soon become a battlefield."

Garaki continued to hum to himself while walking down the hall, unaware of the presence of the heroes. Things are progressing nicely. Tomura Shigaraki will be complete in a little over a month. Ooh, I can hardly wait He also couldn't wait to be a part of Shigaraki's successful goals, since they were aligned with All for One's. He could just imagine how proud his master would be once he heard the news...Shigaraki and what he was becoming was arguably one of his best accomplishments as All for One's long-running accomplice.

"Stop right there!" He flinched upon hearing Endeavor's voice, looking back nervously. The number one hero and others were approaching from down the hall. "You're the creator of the Nomu. And All for One's right-hand man. Aren't you?"

He gasped in fear, wondering how this encounter was even possible since there had been nothing tying him to the Nomu. He had made sure no one could confront him for many years, but now it was all catching up to him. "You're the Devil's pawn. And you will face justice!" The number one hero's eyes shined angrily to bring down the doctor for creating the Nomu to terrorize people. Especially since one of them injured him and Izuka...

"Wait. Dad called?" Natsuo wondered outside of the new house they were living in. He hadn't seen his father since the...family dinner fiasco and being kidnapped by a villain. And ever since then, he hadn't really thought about Endeavor much. They still visited their mother from time to time but ever since the news Endeavor gave them, he had been keeping his distance like he said. It was honestly still very...strange to have to adjust to the new lifestyle Enji was giving all of them. He wasn't sure what to make of it.

"Yeah," Fuyumi turned to him. "He said there's a big work thing, so we may not hear from him for a bit," They started to walk off together.

"Wow. I never imagined he'd think to keep us in the loop like that," The college boy murmured; Enji never tended to tell any of his children anything work-related aside from Shoto. Usually, he didn't talk about work unless it involved his family. He turned away with a frown, remembering seeing his father get hurt by the High-End Nomu. "I hope this job doesn't turn out like Kyushu did." He wasn't saying it for his sake...but more for his sister and his mother. He didn't know how he should feel about this big important job...it was hard to both think about his condition and his work given the rocky past of the Todoroki family. Just because Endeavor was trying to atone, and had moved away from them, didn't mean that Natsuo still had to care. Even if the new changes in their lives was for Endeavor trying to make things for the better.

Fuyumi looked up in a bit of worry. She knew that deep down, her father would prevail...and that they could continue to patch things up in the family. Endeavor had prevailed countless fights with villains after all. At least Natsuo wasn't showing his hatred, but she knew part of it was still there to some degree. Although...it was at least a step towards something. Whether or not it was for the better or for worse, she didn't really know...

"Stop right there," Endeavor demanded as he walked up to Garaki. "You're the creator of the Nomu. And All for One's right-hand man. Aren't you? You're the Devil's pawn."

"Uh...impossible!" The doctor was absolutely flabbergasted by their presence. "How?" He then ran off like a coward.

"And you will face justice," A scarf caught Garaki's leg and pulled him to the ground thanks to Mr. Aizawa. Mr. Aizawa's hair then lifted up as he used Erasure on the doctor just in case he had a Quirk. The man started to gasp and writhe on the floor...his skin starting to age. "As expected. His profile in the official registry is wrong," Endeavor stated as they approached. "The instant you used Erasure on this madman, he aged. He has a Quirk."

Garaki slowly looked up at him, now looking much older than he already looked before. He kind of looked like a mummy almost...

"That could answer a big question," Naomasa pointed out, as Garaki had to be around for much longer than he should have lived. He had been around for almost the same amount of time as All for One, after all, and yet he was somehow in perfect health in the present. "How All for One has been alive such a long time. Super regeneration is also something the more powerful Nomu have. Not a common Quirk by any measure. Did you reproduce an existing power, or create it artificially?" He wouldn't be surprised if Garaki had come up with a way to pull that off so that the villains could be around for eternity. To ensure that All for One would be around forever. "Whatever the case, All for One benefits from the ability now, doesn't he?" They watched as Garaki tried to get away by crawling since he couldn't get up.

Present Mic placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him. "Impressive. Regeneration. A Quirk that can heal," He looked really scary right about now...and that was because of one person. "Used correctly, it becomes a cheat code that lets you escape death. So, why?!" He pulled up Garaki by the collar, glaring down at him. "Why are you using it for evil, Doctor? You could be saving countless lives with that power!" He was referring to...his old friend Oboro. Had Garaki used it for good...he could've brought him back. So that Oboro could still be a hero like he wished for with his friends. But instead, he became Kurogiri, a monster that would stay the way he was for the rest of his life. "But you've hurt so many." He could never forget what Garaki did to his friend, and who knows how many other people for how long he had been alive. The thought of there being possibly more people like Kurogiri hidden away was gut-wrenching. "Tell me what the hell you did to my friend!"

"Let him go!" One nurse ran over to stop him. "Are you trying to hurt him?"

The other nurse looked up at the other heroes. "Why are you heroes attacking the doctor?"

"Step away from the man," Endeavor ordered as Kido and Naomasa ran over.

"You have to leave. It's dangerous," Naomasa helped up the female while Kido took the male away.

"Explain this," The male nurse demanded, as the staff thought the doctor didn't do anything.

"What's going on?"

"Sorry. We'll have to fill you in later," Naomasa dismissed; but he knew that many other people in the hospital were going to have questions...and if they asked again later, he wouldn't know where to begin. He dreaded the possibility of the whole staff asking him questions about someone that they thought was a good person. Even now, he had no idea how he would even say that the person they worked with for years did terrible things to innocent people.

Mr. Aizawa approached and captured Garaki with his scarf, being much more calmer than Present Mic. "While you decay before us...our comrades are evacuating everybody in the hospital. We're more than prepared to fight the Nomu here." Many heroes, except Mirko, were either helping out the patients, or guarding the outside of the hospital. "Although, it would be beneficial to all parties if blood was not spilled in these halls. However, if it were up to me, I would be the first one to do so, given what you did to my student," He gripped the scarf tightly, wanting to strangle Garaki a bit...after all, if it wasn't for him, Izuka wouldn't have been doubted as a hero, and if the DNA had worked...they could've made something like Kurogiri using her DNA. And she wouldn't have had to go through all the rumors and doubts against her twice. But he knew that he had to hold himself back. As Present Mic placed a hand on his shoulder, he silently hoped...that this would be the start of forgiveness from him towards Izuka. By ensuring that what Garaki did to Oboro, he couldn't ever do it again. "You've programmed those creatures so they don't act unless they receive instructions from a specified individual. Without commands, they're nothing but corpses. We figured that much out by analyzing the Nomu we've captured."

"I been thinkin', when we graduate, we should start a hero agency!" Oboro exclaimed to his friends, an arm around an uncomfortable Shota.

Mr. Aizawa gripped his scarf even tighter from the memory. "Those you've toyed with, and those who cared for them." Present Mic's brows were furrowed in anger. "Do you know what they all say?" He lifted up the goggles that his former friend had given to him. "It's our turn to take something away from you."

And it was a long time coming for Garaki...

"Team Endeavor has entered Jaku Hospital," An operative informed from the Police Message Control Center. "Garaki is in custody thanks to Eraser Head's Quirk."

"97 percent of patients have been evacuated," Another operator called out as there were over a dozen people working.

"Team Edgeshot is closing in on the main base. So far, there's no evidence of enemy defenses."

"Update! Mirko's found the secret area in the morgue at Jaku Hospital."

Mirko kicked in a door and fell straight in.

"Mercy," Garaki pleaded for his life. "I'm begging you to forgive me!"

Mirko jumped up and gasped sharply at what was awaiting her up ahead. "Hey, ya there, Endeavor?" She pressed her hand to her ear.

He gasped while listening to her.

"No, please," Garaki begged them again, though he didn't sound too worried this time...

"We got company!" Mirko was met immediately with several Nomu guards.

Endeavor let out a sharp gasp as something drilled in from the ground, bursting through the floor. Several more Nomus revealed themselves to the heroes, to their shock.

Garaki let out a laugh for the attack. "It seems Erasure doesn't destroy a body created using Double. Fascinating! Were you really not clever enough to guess that I would employ such an ability? What fools you heroes are..." A Nomu who had used Garaki's voice melted, revealing that it was a Twice clone the entire time.

"Twice's Quirk? He was a copy," Endeavor's eyes widened, realizing that it might be the case with the one they had captured as well. A Nomu then drilled away the mud, growling as he lunged forward. Endeavor instantly used his fire to counteract it. However, more Nomu emerged from the lobby, causing him to look back in alarm. "You will burn!" He shouted towards his opponent.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, white hair was submerged in a pod. The real Dr. Garaki let out a laugh. "I suppose they couldn't have known that I've been so consumed with my masterpiece, Tomura Shigaraki, that I left everything else in the capable hands of my double." He then ran off, knowing that he would be found soon. "Still. That ruse only bought me a little time," He got into his chair and it spun around before taking off. "And I can't just walk away from this hospital. Do they have any idea how much equipment and time is needed to copy or cultivate one simple Quirk? Of course not!" On his shelves, he had a lot of research that he couldn't part with. Especially since Shigaraki's awakening was approaching. "I've spent incalculable hours stockpiling these abilities. I will not leave them behind." Once he reached another room, he ran inside as the compartments inside were full of Nomus. "My world is in this facility. My entire life's work. The blood and sweat and fruitful days I shared with All for One! Every memory!" He looked desperate to keep his research alive as he kept running, determined to not let the heroes stop him from doing his work.

The Nomu guards all growled and snarled, showing their fangs. Mirko wasn't worried at all as her legs buffed up. "Oh, this'll be fun!" She exclaimed while running and jumping, swinging her leg to kick one away. She took one down and then stomped hard on another's head. She swung up her leg to defeat another one, spinning around in a circle to take down several more.

"Playtime's over, Lil Johnny," Dr. Garaki stated while holding canisters in his arms. "You must warp me and Shigaraki out immediately!"

Before he could do so, an explosion occurred, revealed to be caused by Mirko herself as she already found them. One Nomu's face was stretched out as the canisters holding the creatures fell and broke. Mirko gasped sharply as she noticed the man and gave a confident smirk. Garaki shouted in fear of her presence.

"What's up, Doc? I'm guessing you're the real one!" She grinned widely towards him, ready to take him down.
