JVKE - her

Rito blew out a sigh as he stepped back inside his apartment, setting his helmet off to the side as the air whooshed past him from the door shutting behind him. He'd just dropped Mikan off at school, Lala greeting him with a beaming smile as he stepped back inside. "Welcome back Rito!" The alien princess smiled brightly, holding her arms out to him as if asking for a kiss.

Rito couldn't help the little smile that broke across his lips as his fiancée, something he still struggled to believe was real, eagerly ran up to him to give him a welcome back kiss. It wasn't anything crazy, a cute little kiss as her arms wrapped around him in a hug, something he tentatively returned.

She was usually really clingy, but today she felt even more so. It wasn't bad, he had to remind himself again and again. It just felt so surreal to have someone of the opposite gender so eager to see someone like him return home, and even more unbelievable was her love for physical affection. She couldn't keep her hands off of him, but it never seemed to go further then cuddles and snuggles, not that he was complaining.

Lala Satalin Deviluke was the most adorable pillow he'd ever had the pleasure of sleeping on, and she really seemed to love it.

That said, she seemed to sense a lot of tension in his shoulders when he eventually pulled away from the kiss. He didn't see it in himself, but his tension was there. She wanted to ask, but she could see something weighing on his mind.

She gave him some time for him to undress to his casuals, patiently standing by the couch until he got back to the living room, blowing out a sigh as he did.

"I was hoping aw could talk for a minute?" He ran a hand through his hair, sitting on the couch. A sigh slipped past his lips, a tired smile on his face as he addressed the eager alien princess standing before him.

"Kay!" Lala beamed, standing at attention in front of him in nothing more than one of his white tee shirts and his boxers. He had to admit that he found the look extremely attractive for some almost primal reason that made his heart flutter every time he looked at her. It made it feel like she really was his girlfriend and not some random alien woman who had practically forced herself into his life without warning.

Well, in all honesty that's exactly what she'd done, but he wasn't going to argue semantics with her about it. She seemed bit air headed, but it wasn't really a bad thing. If anything it made her more endearing to him, because he always knew that whatever she was getting up to was something that she was doing to try and make him happy. He wasn't sure why she'd been so adamant on making him happy, but he hadn't the heart to ever tell her to stop helping out.

Mikan was already smitten with her, so there was no chance that he could ever get her to leave. And even then, he didn't want her to go. If he was honest with himself he'd fallen for her as well, the short three weeks he'd spent by her side had cemented her place in his heart, her silly attitude and all.

He was still reeling from the reality he was living today, because to him it just felt unbelievable. Every day he woke up with her by his side, dressed in his own clothes, sleeping soundly on his chest, he felt like it was some dream that he was going to wake up from. But every day that came and went with her by his side he was slowly coming to convince himself that she was real, that this woman that had literally teleported into his life without a care in the world was completely and utterly real.

And she was an angel, albeit a bit of a clumsy one.

Sure she was silly, a bit over the top and clumsy, tended to forget that clothing was a requirement to walk around the outside world, and forgot what normal human behavior was like fairly often. And sure she had a lot of learning to do when it came to how to fit in to living on earth, and she still messed up all the time, he loved her just the same.

Even though she had a short attention span, got distracted easily, and didn't understand how loud her voice was sometime, he w

It was made clear to him rather quickly that how everyday life worked on Deviluke was completely and utterly different than how life ran here on earth. Even still, he never called her out when he caught her sneaking away to his computer to look up how to properly handle certain situations like a normal person would, finding her intense eagerness to blend in like a human girl increasingly adorable.

It was her current lack of understanding about the world around her that had lead to him sitting her down that Friday morning, Mikan already at school, leaving the two of them alone in the apartment.

"Or well, actually I wanted to set up some rules for around town and stuff…" He corrected after a moment, after giving it a little more thought. So far he'd learned that she was good at doing certain things, and absolutely awful at following other rules.

"Oh, gotcha!" She nodded eagerly.

"Or, you know what, just some guidelines that I want you to follow." He nodded to himself. Yeah that sounded more reasonable.

Or rather, that sounded easier to stick to.

This was Lala he was talking about, and from what little he knew of her, she was chaos given bodily form. She was also incredibly hard to get a read on, and he was positive that he never knew what was going through her head at any given point in time. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, however.

No…

He should probably just give some general guidance advice for her to follow. She'd done pretty well so far, but he just needed to make sure she didn't draw too much attention when they went out anywhere.

"Correction, guidelines that I would super love that you follow. Yeah that's it."

"Mmkay!" She smiled eagerly, tail wagging happily behind her, too happy to please that she wasn't even irritated that he seemed so lost about what he wanted to talk about in the first place.

He sighed, sinking into the couch. Truth be told, as much as he was pretending that everything had been more stressful since Lala had appeared in his life, he also had to admit that she'd actually made it much easier for many reasons.

Mikan hadn't been late to school since Lala started helping prepare her in the mornings, most days he'd wake up with not a lot of time to spare only to find her dressed and ready to go and breakfast already made and set on the dining room table. It had taken some adjusting to get used to the fact that despite her…

Quirks-

That she was actually very helpful and sweet. She'd even woken him up with breakfast this morning, and it was so surprising that he didn't know what to say. He remembered his eyes opening at the sound of her sneaking back into his room, a steaming plate of food in her hands as she slid back up beside him in bed, a megawatt smile on her face that had butterflies dancing in his stomach.

But now they were alone, Mikan off at school leaving them both together at home. Yet despite this, despite getting everything done on time and despite her helping hands, he couldn't shake the stress on his heart. He knew she wasn't to blame for this anxiety that was wracking him, but this was just the way it had been for him since taking Mikan in, and even before then.

He knew she must've picked up on it, the longing distant look that filled his eyes when he thought she wasn't looking. On the surface he was doing well, or at least good enough, but he couldn't shake the stress. It felt choking, like the world had a hand wrapped around his throat and it was growing progressively more and more difficult to keep breathing.

It had only been a handful of months since he'd taken Mikan in, since she lost her parents, and he was still coming to terms with what that truly meant. His life as a young single adult had ended overnight, and he was struggling to settle into the life of a single father figure who had to take care of his nine year old daughter figure.

He felt like he wasn't doing enough, that he was just going through the motions. Every day he'd wake up, make her breakfast and her lunch to go, get her dressed for school and drop her off. She'd be gone for most of the day while he was off at work, and he'd leave her waiting for a bit after school until his shift was over and he could pick her up.

He was worried that he was too focused on doing what he was supposed to do, and not being the best dad or older brother that he needed to be for her. He supposed that he just felt bad that he was actually taking some time off for himself whenever the opportunity came up…

As just so happened that morning.

His boss had called and said that the office had to close down for the day due to some water damage and no one would be able to work until Monday. Technically he'd only be missing Friday's shift, but it left him with a feeling of being unsure what he was supposed to do.

It was what led to him sitting on the couch having what he was telling himself wasn't an anxiety attack and was just him trying to tell Lala everything she needed to know about helping to care for his little sister.

Or rather, that's what he'd thought he was supposed to bring up, but seeing how well she was doing with taking care of her he'd pivoted to setting some around the house rules and more specifically, around town rules. "Okay so, you need to try to blend in. In case you haven't noticed, humans don't really fly. If people see you flying around town then eventually it's going to get traced back here and that's going to lead to all sorts of problems I don't even want tot think about right now."

"I guess I can do that." She hummed thoughtfully, holding a hand to her chin playfully. It sounded a bit boring, but she'd do it if Rito-kun asked her too. She'd do anything if he asked her to.

Didn't he know that?

"Maybe try to wear something a little more normal around town, that way people won't look at you like an alien…" He murmured softly, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

She giggled playfully, rolling her eyes at him. "But I am an alien, silly." She teased, thrusting her butt out to show the slender black tail poking free from the waistband of his boxers. He rolled his eyes, unable to hide his amused little smile that quirked his lips.

"That's my point. If the whole world learns that you're an alien it could lead to a lot of trouble for me." He shook his head, sighing in irritation at the second thought that struck him. "Humanity sort of thinks that they're the center of the universe and that no other civilizations exist out in space…" He explained lowly.

She quirked her head to the side cutely, tail wagging lowly. "…meaning?" She asked curiously.

He sighed. "Meaning that they'll probably try to take you away or get in the way of my life here or just totally mess everything up." He threw his arms up behind the couch, blowing out an exhausted sound. "It's just too much stress to think about and I don't want them to take you away and I know I'm probably being unreasonably worried about it but I just can't stop myself from worrying about you-."

-Girlfriend advice for a boyfriend in trouble 101-

-Step one. If you determine that your boyfriend and or fiancé is not feeling well or is stressed out, do well to find the source of his anxiety. You can do this by gently asking him if something is wrong or if something is weighing on his mind. If he opens up to you then do well to listen to him speak his mind, for it is rare that he will open up again if you dismiss his feelings the first time.-

"Rito-kun?" Lala gently cut him off, having moved at some point while he was panicking to his side on the couch, hand tentatively placed on his inner thigh. "You're not being unreasonable. I didn't know how much you were worried about this…" She murmured softly, thumb brushing against his bare skin.

He sucked in a sharp breath at her touch, but her words had managed to pull him out of his funk, if only for a moment. He sighed, his shoulders tense whether he knew it or not. He was so on edge that he didn't even seem to know how to calm down properly, and she could see right through him. But she didn't press him, didn't demand he explain himself, or complain that he always seemed so on edge.

No, instead she simply sat by his side and listened, offering her ear if he wanted to share, offering her hand if he wanted to hold it, and offering her lap if he wanted somewhere to lay his head.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm just so stressed out that I don't know what to do now that I have some free time. I don't even feel like I deserve free time…" The last part of his admission was said under his breath, biting his lips as he tried to dig into his mind for something else that he might be missing right about now. Was he doing everything he could for Mikan? Was he being a good enough parent for her?

What about Lala? He couldn't just focus one hundred percent on Mikan and ignore his fiancée as well. He wanted to love them both, but he felt as if he was being pulled every which way, and the guilt that filled his heart at the idea of looking after one more than the other made it hard to breathe. The walls just felt like they were closing in on him, and he didn't know what to do.

-Step two. After you've managed to get him to open up about what's troubling him you need to show that you're there for him. Men often have hard times displaying their true feelings and sometimes struggle to handle their emotions well. If he's reciprocative, maybe try showing your love for him with something different than words. Gentle touches, nibbling on the neck, hands in his hair. Show him that you're not going to leave him just because he's not been well lately-

Rito's cheeks warmed as she suddenly leaned into his side, resting herself against his shoulder with a comfortable warmth. Her breath tickled his skin, but he didn't pull away. "Don't apologize, Rito-kun. I'm not upset with you." She hummed softly, snuggling up to the crook of his neck, eliciting a shuddering hum of delight from the young man.

He couldn't deny how warm she was, and how much he wanted to just hold onto her and not let go. Tentatively he wrapped his arms around her as she shifted into his lap, fingers nervously coming up to vanish into the depths of her long pink locks. She mewled underneath his touch as his fingers deftly roamed her scalp, the scent of her strawberry hair filling his nose as he closed his eyes, getting lost in her presence.

He sucked in a short gasp when he felt her nibble on his exposed neck, her surprisingly sharp canines easily penetrating his skin as she marked him with a little love bite. Her hands weren't idle as his roamed her hair, however, as her deft fingers found their way underneath the hem of his tee shirt, now roaming the broadness of his bare chest, getting familiar with it.

"Mmmmhn, Lala…" He hummed meekly, cheeks heating up. This was all so new to him, so foreign, scary almost. It was as exciting as it was nerve-racking, hoping that he was doing the right thing, that he wasn't disappointing her. She giggling lowly against his neck as she suckled on that sweet spot, her delicate fingers slowly wrapping around his backside until she'd wrapped him up in a firm loving hug, one that said that she wasn't going anywhere.

She snuggled up into the crook of his neck, sighing warmly as the tension in his body slowly began to fade away, leaving an empty shell behind that was ripe for cuddles, something she was all too keen on swooping in to steal. She smiled, not that he could see it, at the feeling of his racing heart beating underneath his chest, his anxiety slowly calming as his heart followed suit.

-Step three. Once you've managed to clam him down a bit, ask him again if he's okay and what's really weighing on his mind. Now that you've gently dismantled those defenses he's placed around his heart, you may be able to find the real culprit behind what has been stressing him out.-

Lala sat there for a while, more than content to let him bask in her presence for as long as he wanted, until she was sure he was feeling better. "You feeling better now?" She whispered softly into his ear, pulling a muffled yet genuine 'mmhmm' of confirmation from him, his face still lost in her beautiful pink locks.

She smiled happily, keeping her voice down. "Good. I'm glad." She beamed genuinely, hugging him a little closer. Her surprising strength wasn't as overbearing as he thought it would be, instead bringing with it the warmth and comfort like that of a weighted blanket wrapped snugly around him. It actually felt easier to breathe now, the weight of the world feeling like less and less with her in his lap.

He…

H-He didn't…

Didn't want to let her go.

He didn't want anyone to take her away from him, didn't want her to leave him…

He didn't want her to go.

Lala's eyes widened slightly when his arms tightened around her backside, wetness staining her hair as he shuddered silently against her chest. He didn't make a sound, but she knew almost instinctually. She smiled sadly as she held him just a little tighter, humming a quiet song in his ear.

"Please don't leave me…" She barely heard it, his voice muffled in her hair. He was shaking so violently, as if he felt that he wasn't allowed to cry, unable to be seen as weak. But she heard it, almost clear as day for her.

-Step four. Don't shun him for showing you his vulnerable side. Don't ever make him regret showing you weakness. Let him know that it's okay to cry, that it's okay to feel bad. That sometimes everyone just gets overwhelmed.-

-Let him know that it's okay to not be ok.-

"It's ok, Rito-kun. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere." She whispered gently, softly running her fingers through his hair as he shuddered in tightly muffled crying. The strangled gasp as he inhaled was the breaking point, all of his pent up emotions finally finding a tipping point. The broken sobbing that escaped from him tugged at her as he clutched onto her like his life depended on it, terrified, mortified that she was going to leave him for one reason or another.

But she wasn't going anywhere, now or later. Her place in the universe was right there by his side, in his lap, lost in the warmth of his embrace. And from the way he was holding her, so tightly, so frantically, she knew that she couldn't leave him if she wanted to, because it would shatter him to pieces.

"Good boy." She whispered to him, rubbing soothing circles on his back as he cried, pampering him as he let everything he'd been bottling up for a very long time finally out. And she planned on being right there by his side the entire way, ready and willing to make him feel better however she could.

"That's it, I'm right here. I've got you, it's okay, it's okay…" She cooed softly on repeat, showing him a surprising amount of patience and love that he'd not been expecting from her. And he was glad, so very glad. Words couldn't properly express how grateful he was to have her in his life.

It took some time, but his crying eventually petered out. Even then she never let him go, holding him firmly until exhaustion took over and he fell asleep in her embrace, thoroughly tuckered.

She smiled, eyes closed as she took in a deep breath against his neck. "Goodnight, Rito…" She hummed, pressing her lips against the bite mark she'd given him in a tender kiss before she took joined him in the land of dreams.

If there was anything that transferred from Deviluke society to human it was that no matter who you were, where you were born, or what race you were born; Then it was the fact that everyone needed a shoulder to cry on every once in a while, someone to hug when things got tough, someone to tell them that everything was going to be alright.

He wasn't sure what he'd done in his short life leading up to that morning for him to deserve a woman like her, but he couldn't deny that he felt blessed to have her in it. He wouldn't have it any other way…

For the first time in a long while, Rito slept very well. Lala's tail slowly snuck its way around them, wrapping the two of them together as she slept, happy that she was able to help.

Consciousness returned slowly to the elder Yuuki, eyes fighting him as one part of his brain told him to sleep a little longer while the other side told him that he'd been asleep long enough on a Friday off. The back and forth lasted for quite some time before his eyes finally began to flutter open, gental golden brown eyes struggling to focus at the assault of pink that clouded his vision.

He sucked in a slow long breath through his nose, the sweet scent of strawberries and cream tickling his senses, his nose lost in the beautiful space princess's hair. Unconsciously his arms tightened around the woman in his embrace, the soft sounds of her snoring against his shoulder coinciding with the slow rising and falling of her breasts against his chest in her sleep.

''She's.. So warm…'' The thought struck him absentmindedly, eyes softening as his cheeks warmed. She mewled quietly in her sleep as his fingers brushed against her backside, hot air from her nose sending pleasant shivers down his spine. ''I could stay like this forever…'' He realized with a slowly forming smile, the first genuine one he'd truly had in some time.

He closed his eyes as he leaned forward, pressing his lips to the winged horns on her head in a tender kiss. The bladed appendages felt smooth against his lips, twitching slightly in response to his gentle touch. Lala made a quiet sound against his neck in her sleep, but she seemed to melt in his lap a little more with every kiss, whatever tension that had been in her body in her sleep fading away.

It had started out as slow gentle kisses, but he felt suddenly overwhelmed with the desire to make her understand just how much he really loved her. She'd done so much for him, and he'd not really done much for her in reciprocation. Even though she never asked him to, or ever complained that he focused so much on Mikan without giving her even half as much attention, he felt guilty all the same. He wanted her to understand how he felt about her, and he wanted her to feel appreciated for all her hard work.

He smiled as she shifted in his lap, slowly coming to from his cute little kisses. He leaned back a bit to let her stretch as she woke up, arms raised high above her head with a satisfying pop echoing out. She didn't even open her eyes before she leaned forward and captured his lips with her own, sharp teeth nibbling on his lower lip, asking for permission as she took his breath away.

He groaned lowly at the feeling of her lips on his, hands coming up to rub the small of her back as she mewled into his mouth. When she eventually pulled away her short intake of air turned into a small gasp as he kissed her chin, trailing a line of kisses down her supple neckline until he was nibbling on the crook of her neck much like she'd done to him before falling asleep.

"Good morning, Lala-chan." He hummed lowly, gently suckling on her neck, eliciting those delectable sounds from her as her head fell back slightly, readily giving him full access to her body. Her tail unlatched from around the two of them as he kissed her, the slender black appendage wagging lowly behind her.

"G-Good morning, Rito-kun." She breathed out, shuddering slightly as he peppered her with tender kisses again and again. "Y-You're feeling better now?" She asked curiously, biting her own lips as a small moan managed to escape as he nibbled on a particularly sensitive spot.

"Mmhmm." He hummed happily, roaming hands coming down to rest on her bubbly posterior, gently groaning and squeezing it to drag out those cute little moans from her. His hands slipped underneath the rim of her underwear, gently massaging the space where her tail met her rear end, knowing that she was very sensitive there.

"W-What are you doing?" She whispered breathily. "I-I'm supposed to be the one that makes you feel good when you wake up." She muttered with a strange look, tail slowing down as he continued.

He smiled against the side of her neck as he pulled away, holding her close to him in a way that had her bosom pressing pleasantly against his own chest. "I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you, Lala. I just want to make you feel special, like you did me." He admitted lowly, bringing a blush to the woman's cheeks. She felt her heart racing beneath her breasts, feeling suddenly meek in his lap as he pampered her in a way she'd never felt before.

Her happiness at his touch had suddenly turned into something else, biting her lips as his words washed over her in a blanket of soothing warmth that carried with it such gentleness that she simply wasn't prepared for it.

All her previous boyfriends were rude and disrespectful, cruel and unkind in their words and their actions. They would demand unreasonable things of her, yell at her when she did something wrong or something that embarrassed them. Some of her husbands to be even hit her when she messed up, making her feel small and useless in her inability to do even the simplest of things right.

She'd spent a year after her last potential partner just trying to learn how to be a proper wife, struggling to learn to cook, how to please in the bedroom, how to touch and make them feel good, how to make sure that she didn't make any more mistakes.

But she cooking was still sub par at best, and she still managed to trip over her own two feet often enough that those around her knew it was coming. She still sometimes failed to realize that she was being too loud sometimes when she thought she was being quiet, only to recoil at the chiding remarks from her teacher. Even when under the harshest regimes she couldn't ever manage to do anything right for long enough to keep her partners happy.

She was, for all intents and purposes, a total failure of a princess…

It was no wonder why daddy wanted to marry her off to some random prince from another world, because he didn't want anything to do with her anymore after failing to court the many prince's on Deviluke. That was the only thing that could explain it to her…

So…

So why did Rito want to please her? Was she doing something wrong? Was she not being forward enough with him that he felt the need to take the initiative because of her inaction? Was she being too slow with the romance? Maybe she should've followed step one of the web article sooner, and now he must think she's a failure too.

"Lala?" Rito asked quietly, holding her gently by her shoulders as he looked into her eyes. She was trying to appear strong in front of him, but she was failing miserably in her attempts, biting her lips to keep lockdown on her emotions as tears welled up in the corners of her eyes. "What's wrong? Did I hurt you?" He asked suddenly, afraid he'd done something wrong.

But…?

"A-Are you upset with me?" She asked quietly, like a little puppy that had been kicked. He felt like he'd just been punched in the gut, the look in her eyes so different that it surprised him.

"Upset with you?" He reiterated in surprise, before his hands came up to gently cup her cheeks. "No, of course not. Why would I be mad at you?" He asked gently, using the same soft tone he would use with Mikan when she was upset.

"B-Because you're pleasing me." She clarified meekly, looking up at him with that bashful look that momentarily took his breath away. She looked so cute, so adorable that he almost forgot to breathe. "It's the wife's job to please their mate's on Deviluke, never the other way around. I-I just thought that… this meant that you were upset with me…" She muttered, her fears fading away when she realized that he wasn't unhappy with her. She was confused, his words mixed with his actions messing with her head.

Rito for his part looked stunned, his eyes widening as if he'd been struck. "I just wanted to make you happy, Lala…" He explained softly, holding her gently in his arms. "Did you not want this?" He offered nervously, afraid he'd overstepped some sort of boundary with her.

He hadn't, that was for sure. But he was just confused.

"I-I do!" She exclaimed quickly, tail wagging happily behind her. She looked as if she was battling with her desires and her mental training to do what was expected of her. "It's just that… It's unbecoming of you…"

His eyes widened in surprise as she continued. "The wives are meant to please their husbands on Deviluke, the men aren't supposed to have to do the work. I'm supposed to please you, to let you use me, n-not the other way around." She explained quietly, confused why he looked mortified at her words.

"Lala…" He tried, swallowing thickly. His head felt like it was reeling. That's when he realized that Devilukian society was different than human society on a scale he wasn't mentally prepared for. Just because she looked human didn't mean that she knew how people and societal norms worked here on this side of the galaxy.

He needed to clear this up fast.

Lala squeaked in surprise when he suddenly grabbed her shoulders, the look in his eyes serious. She went to speak, but he cut her off, tone worried. "Lala, I didn't know that Devilukian standards were so different from our own."

She blinked in surprise at his words. "It's the standards that most of our controlled space goes by. It's just natural." She explained quietly.

"Lala…" He breathed, gaze softening when her eyes looked confused. "Here on earth, partners are equals. I don't expect you to act a certain way, and I'm not going to get mad if you do something I wasn't expecting. I don't expect you to do things for me, but when you do something that I like it makes me happy. You don't have to do any of that, but, just do whatever makes you happy." He struggled to find the right words to express himself, but she seemed to be getting it somewhat.

"Y-You mean that?" She muttered quietly, eyes wide as she stared up at him like he'd just revealed some massive secret to her.

He smiled, never realizing how much it broke his heart to see her on the verge of tears. "That's right." He hummed softly. "I wasn't doing that because I was discontent with you or anything. I did so because I wanted to, because making you feel good makes me happy. Because I think you deserve to feel happy too." He explained, bashfully averting his eyes at her wide eyed awe.

"I didn't do so because society demanded it, but because I wanted to make my fiancée happy. S-Same way I don't expect or demand you to do anything special for me. Just do what you want to, what your heart tells you to…" He finished quietly.

Her tail was wagging uncontrollably now, face hot red as she stared up at him in surprised awe. It was like she was looking at him for the first time. "Y-You mean that?" She asked earnestly, tail wagging like some over excited puppy.

He smiled gently. "Every word."

"S-So when we cuddle together?" She asked hopefully.

"It's because I want to be with you." He smiled, leaning a little closer. Her breath tickled his nose as she leaned a little closer too.

"And when we kiss in the morning?" She muttered curiously, cheeks heating up as his nose brushed against her own.

"That's because I love you." He admitted softly, smiling brightly at the adorable woman in his lap.

She smiled widely, leaning into his chest with a newfound excitement. "T-Then can you go back to doing whatever you were doing?" She asked hopefully.

He couldn't help the genuine laugh that slipped out. "Yes of course." He chuckled, leaning forward to finally capture her lips in a kiss. She didn't hold back her moans this time, melting into his embrace as he stole her breath away.

As for Lala, she felt happy in a relationship for the first time in her life. And if she was honest with herself, she didn't have any other plans anywhere else. She was right where she wanted to be, right there in his lap, and she was confident about it this time.

''See daddy… I told you I'd find the one eventually…'' She thought to herself, giggling as he trailed nibbling kisses down her neck. She let out a relieved sigh, pulling the young man into a hug.

"I-Is it okay if I just hold you for a little while?" She asked meekly, giggling as he kissed the tip of her nose.

"Whatever you want, Lala. It's yours." He hummed softly, the grin she gave him lighting up his entire world.

She shoved her head in the crook of his neck, inhaling deeply. "Did I ever tell you I love you?" She murmured with a giggle.

Rito rolled his eyes with a stupid smile on his face, holding her close to his body. "Only like every morning." He teased, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. He took in a deep breath of her strawberry cream hair, closing his eyes as he just basked in her presence for as long as she wanted to. He had nowhere else to be, and nowhere else he would rather be even if he did. He knew where he belonged right now, and it was with this woman in his lap.
