Mammon was certainly a real piece of work. More money than brains (and a heart). Someone who would even sell his own parents for a dollar. Nevertheless, even Cody can see the unctuous and manipulative nature, especially since Fizz told him about Mammon before.

"The fucking nerve of that Mammon." Blitzo nodded his head sideways with his arms crossed.

"Yeah. Cody, never listen to that fat creep. Cool guitar player or not, Mammon is someone to trust at all" she proved her point by swaying her arms away from her torso.

"I believe you Loona." Cody said. "Besides, i have some money saved from the pig race."

"Oh yeah, that's right." Blitzo remembered.

Then as they watched the end lf the movie, Loona felt her cellphone going off with a guitar riff heard. "Hey Via, what's up?" She paused. "Yeah, we can go bra shopping later."

"Eww!" Cody exclaimed in disgust, making Loona chuckle.

"I know. Boys can never understand." Loona said, "yeah yeah, i'll see you in half an hour, Octavia. Later." Then she hung up. "You don't want to come with me and Octavia to Stylish Occult, kiddo?"

"Not to look for bras." Cody looked disgusted again. "I'm a boy." Then Blitzo gave Cody a gentle punch on the right arm.

"Loona, i love you but i need to hang out with boys more often."

"No, it's ok Cody. I understand if you don't want to come with me right now. Blitzo, can you watch over Cody for an hour or two?"

"Sorry Loona, but i can't. Trying to help Barbie get rid of her Heroin problem." It was just then the front door was knocked three times.

"Oh what is it?" Loona sounded irritated. She answered the door and looked surprised to see Vortex. "Tex! Hey, what's going on?"

"w'sup Loo?" Tex replied with a warm smile on his face.

"Tex!" Loona is always happy to see her friend. "So glad you came here. What brings you here?"

"Just wanted to know if Cody wanted to spend time with me. Some guy-to-guy bonding."

"Ooh, what a coincidence. I was just about to call you and have you watch Cody while i go bra shopping with Octavia."

"Cool. Sounds good."

"I did ask Blitzo to watch over him but he's trying to help his sister get over her... problem."

Near Loona's right ear, Tex said: "Honestly, good call, Loo. Do you really want Cody to be left alone with your dad?" the both looked at the imp scarfing down on some cheese since he is obsessed with this stuff, much to Cody's disgust.

"Good point." Loona narrowed her eyes. "Blitzo is... not the most responsible kind of guy. Not to mention he's a total fucking weirdo."

"Sure, i'll watch over him, Loona." Tex said. "I love that kid."

Loona smiled. "Thanks Tex. I knew i can count on you." Coming in the living room with Tex, Loona said: "Cody, guess who's gonna take care of ya."

"Hey buddy." Tex smiled, his arms open for a hug, which the boy promptly did. "Doing alright, Cody?"

"Uh-huh."

"So Loona told me about how she's gonna hang out with Via for a little while. Wanna have fun with me? Some guy-to-guy time?"

"Yeah!" Cody exclaimed in happiness.

"Cool."

As Loona and Blitzo went to their destinations, Cody was left alone with the burly hellhound. "So, what do you want to do?"

Thinking about some guy time, Cody decided to go visit Chop, Dusty, and Bombproof in their pen in the plaza next to the apartment building. Seeing how the three animals were just being themselves in the pen. When they saw Cody, the three animals were all happy to see him. Chop gave the boy a few licks on his left arm.

"Hey guys." Cody laughed. "You know i wish thay we can live in a better kind of living space."

"Huh. I feel that. Me and Eclipse want to get in a nice house but they don't come cheap." Tex crossed his arms. "But they seem to be doing alright out here. You're always keeping them fed and happy."

"Yeah, there isn't any problems with them."

"Though i hear Stolas has some spare guestrooms to share. Being a Goetia and all."

"He does?" Asked Cody. "But he and Blitzo are still fighting."

"Well, I wouldn't say fighting, Cody. More like in disagreement. There are always ups and down in relationships." Tex frowned. "And i believe that Stolas would still let Blitzo and Loona move in with them."

"I can't really rush these things either." Cody remembered.

"Very true."

Setting foot inside the pen, Cody sat on the ground and the demon pig promptly sat next to him like a dog. Dusty and Bombproof sat near him too to give him company. "And i worry about these guys since... this is Hell."

"Come on, be a kid." Tex gave him a pat on the back. "Do good things kids do. Video games, watch cartoons, those kid things."

"I hear you." Cody said. Then he felt Chop sniffing his right hand and lifted it, demanding Cody oet the top of his head with it. "Oh, I love you too, Chop." Said the kid as he was stroking the top of Chop's head over and over again. Then he began stroking Dusty's left side of his neck, and then started to stroke Bombproof's right side of his neck.

"You can have a little petting zoo attraction with these guys and make a little money." Tex said.

"Sure, that sounds fun."

"And i have a fun idea we can do."

"What's that?"

"go to Blood Burger."

"sure."

Then the two stayed with the three animals for another forty-five minutes, then were all left alone again as Tex was driving Cody to the Blood Burger. "I'll be honest, buddy, I can't wait for the wedding between Tommy and Celeste."

"Me neither." Cody smiled.

meanwhile, Slasher was called on someone evil and dangerous. "The boss would like to talk with you now." Said a tall shark demon. It was revealed to be none other than: Alessio.
