When the ghost entered the Destiny's Bounty, the sight was not very welcoming.
Morro was slowly hovering on the floating ship, so he wouldn't get discovered.
Normally, no one would notice a levitating phantom, especially of an ex-wind ninja, but if Lloyd knew, or maybe just knew that Morro was there, maybe the others knew too.
He had to be more careful than he ever was, since he didn't really if ghosts changed like the Preeminent. Maybe they were more noticeable, less intangible, easily seen, even while being invincible.
The Merge could've done anything!
And the changed Destiny's Bounty didn't help at all.
Everything seemed so messy, clothes and food laying everywhere.
It was obvious that the last time the ship was properly taken care of was… A lot of months ago.
The Ninja weren't really looking well either.
Most of them had bloodshot eyes, unkept hair, especially Nya, the clothes looked a lot darker, didn't really look like it fit their style.
The Water ninja, the pink haired girl and the 'Arin' guy all fidgeted with a piece of cloth or their fingers.
Their now messed up mental state really reflected on all of this.
Everyone felt really guilty and conflicted at the same time. It was like they didn't want to do this because of their little brother and something else that Morro couldn't really make out, but also wanted to do this, because they felt it would change something important.
Morro remembered Lloyd and shook his head.
"I better find him soon. I have a feeling this place is not good for the Green ninja…Even though it's his home."
The ghost fastened his pace.
The rooms have definitely changed, so he had to pretty much run through walls, trying to find… Probably, now that he thought about it… His cousin.
Finally, Morro found Lloyd, in the ship's lower levels, where the weapons and some other stuff was kept. He was in a really cramped cage, still unconscious.
The ghost was just about to hover down into the storage room, when the same tiger guy that hit him with his hammer, came from there and passed through the phantom.
Then, a snake guy came and the same red haired girl with Kai's attitude.
"Ah, you have returned, Frak, did you get the package?" The tiger spoke.
"Yes, Master Ras, but why do you need it?" The teenage orange snake asked.
"Are those smoke bombs?" The fire red haired girl asked.
"No, Wyldfyre, smoke bombs cannot help us deal with an Oni hybrid. I'll show you what it is, if you come with me." And the others followed into the darkness.
"Can you at least tell us what's it called?" Both teenagers asked in sync.
And even though they were already nearly on the upper floor, Morro heard the tiger – Ras say:
"…Prismatic Blade."
"What's a Prismatic Blade?" The ghost thought, while looking where the tiger and his pupils just were.
A weak groan was heard down in the storage room.
Morro forgot what he had just heard and immediately went to get Lloyd.
The boy's head was covered in bandages that were already colored… pink?
Probably his blood.
Morro tried opening the cage, but he only passed through.
There was no way to open the cage.
At least not in this while he was a ghost.
"Sorry… Cousin."
Morro went and guiltily possessed Lloyd.
A sharp breath filled the storage room.
Then a few coughs.
"I have a feeling that the controls this time will be a lot harder and a lot more painful than last time." Morro said that, while he felt himself get used to the piercing pain in his now somewhat human body.
