Lloyd was pretty much sprinting through the mountain's cave tunnels, without a map and in hot pursuit of the few of the Forbidden Five.

"What a great time to release a deadly lightning waterfall, Jay!" He ran with a smirk of annoyance.

A huge blast that made the caves shake and nearly hit Lloyd flew. "Yipes!"

"Stop evading us, Conduit! It's hopeless!" Rox exclaimed.

"Why can't anybody leave me alone?!"

"A certain dragon said that you'd make a 'great' ally."

"I'd rather be a loner than a sacrifice or 'an ally' of a shady group like you!"

"If you joined us, you would no longer be a sacrifice for Ras' wishes and you will be a perfect version of yourself."

"Perfect?-"

A blast from Rox managed to knock back the boy, then Nokt created a crack between the pathway, so Lloyd had to choose: either jump off the cliff (which was something he was used to now) or join the ancient warriors.

The choice was obvious: fight another day.

But he couldn't bring himself to do it…

He was scared, petrified, terrified, but of what?

"Is the Green ninja sure he wants to do that?"

Lloyd began shaking, his breathing rapidly getting faster and louder, his heart pounding incredibly quick.

"Who knew the prophesized Green ninja was such a scaredy cat?" A sinister laugh of both members of the Forbidden Five filled the cave.

"I-I… Am not… The Green ninja… A-anymore… They betrayed… Me."

"Speak up!"

"I-"

"Get away from the kid!" The voice of Jay suddenly came from the other side of the tunnel, beyond the crack.

"Rogue, you betray us?! After everything we've done for you?!"

"Rogue?"

"You mean nothing?" The Master of lightning charged up his power and made the electricity into a whip that grabbed Lloyd and threw him to Jay's side.

"Why are you helping him?"

"He can help me get my memory back and a really creepy something that looked like this guy talked to me. And I think if I anger him, I might as well end up dead. Plus, after I help him, I'm going back to Ras, traitors!"

"What are you talking about?!"

"Nothing that any of you should know!" And a ball of lightning was launched at the ceiling that made rocks crumble down and block the path of Nokt and Rox.

Jay looked at Lloyd and he looked as if he was in a trance.

"Hey! Wakey-wakey!" Walker tried to wake him up by gently slapping him on the cheek.

The light got back to Lloyd's eyes.

"Good." The boy thought he heard a sigh of relief.

"Why did you change your name?"

"No. Your real name."

"You are just like him."

"You mean you met a glow-y version of me?"

"How did you know?"

"I met him myself and he said that he was a part of my subconscious that was sent to help me by… Myself… When I say it out loud, it sounds stupid but true."

Jay blinked a few times out of confusion. "Couldn't agree more."

"Why is your name Rogue and not Jay Walker, Jay?"

The rocks started crumbling and shaking a bit.

"It's because I think it's cool, OK? Now let's go, we don't have a lot of time."

Lloyd stood up and ran after 'Rogue'.

There was one thing that filled his mind, it was that behind the rocks there were shades of pink, yellow, blue and orange and he was pretty sure that the powers of the Forbidden Five did not look like that.

The boy looked to the ground and saw a sinister shadow that was not his looking at him.

Lloyd charged up his green power and launched it at the shadow.

"He he heh." That laugh sounded like one of an old woman.

Lloyd Garmadon unknowingly took Jay by his sleeve and ran off to the left.

"What are you doing? We need to go right!"

"Something is controlling me!"

Walker looked the little red aura now surrounding the boy that looked scared. But then he realized:

"It's Rox! She's controlling you, you need to fight back!"

"What do you think I'm doing, oh, by the way, you're not helping either!"

"I'm helping with whatever I can!"

"Then why are your eyes red and why does it look like you also want to go that way?!"

"Because once you wear the mask that shatters all goodness, you become my servant." ThunderFang answered looking like some kind of an all-powerful being behind Rox and Nokt.

"What do I have to do with this?"

"You will be a great puppet to murder the Source dragons." The purple and red dragon replied.

"One day I'm supposed to be a puppet and the next a sacrifice, great!"

"But if you do not comply, your friends will not survive."

"What friends?"

The dragon showed everyone that was Lloyd's enemies now.

"I don't have friends… or a family anymore."

"Just because you don't consider them family anymore, doesn't mean you don't care about them."

Lloyd's eyes widened – he was going to kill them if he didn't become a puppet.

The grandson of the FSM was seriously conflicted.

"Big talk for someone who is afraid of their target!" Jay shouted at the dragon.

"What." ThunderFang let out a threatening roar.

"I saw when you pretty much hid from the Green ninja, you're not fooling anyone!"

"Silence!" Rox ordered.

Jay's mouth was sealed by a magic spell.

Lloyd thought about Rogue's words then quickly charged up a big blast from his Oni and Energy power.

"No! Lloyd, don't do that – it'll cause an explosion!" Sora screamed.

"What do you think I'm doing?" He smirked.

Suddenly everyone realized what the ex-Green ninja was doing.

He was trying to free everyone by creating an enormous explosion of power that only he could control.
