Benjamin held Uncle Jeff's hand. Today was probably the day that Uncle Jeff had the most regret in his life. So had Benjamin
"It's my fault" Uncle Jeff sobbed. However, Benjamin though that wasn't the right time to consider who was right or wrong in this situation. It may be his fault. He heard the footsteps running when he talked with the coach but didn't know how to escape without bad manners and he has been rewarded his good manners for the spiritless body of his friend. He thought that some of the coach's words or maybe his own (thinking of this, Benjamin's heart hurt again) that Julian didn't finish listening had a part to contribute the boy's suicide. Of course, those who bullied him at school Especially Johnson and White play an important part in this situation. Those who just stand let the whole event happen without forbidding, it was as guilty if not more from Benjamin's point of view.
Jefferey looked at the spiritless body of his son. A young boy who used to be beautiful. Now drenched with blood When Julian's burial was buried. He already understood what it felt to live with suffering. Jaeden, his eldest child support him back home
"Julian is probably happy in heaven, dad." Jaeden comforted. "I miss him too but if you cry Julian will be worried. "
Jeffrey wipes his tears. He forcibly smiled at his son. His only remaining son
1981
Benjamin had been accepted to the Faculty of Psychology University of St. Andrews. He, therefore, had to move to an apartment in Scotland. At first, he wanted to be a doctor like Jaeden but as soon as he saw Julian's blood-soaked body. He realized that he couldn't be a doctor. He was scared of blood when he discusses this with Jefferey. Uncle Jeff t advised him to attend psychology.
"They are job families," said Jefferey. "Sometimes we have to work together."
That's the main reason he decided to attend this faculty. Benjamin walked into the pub. In the pub, there was a black-haired man in the corner of the room. The man had pale skin and whining.
"It's my fault, Lily. I killed you. I killed you." He filled the liquor in his mouth relentlessly. His face was ruddy. Benjamin walked towards him. He may be one or two years older than Benjamin. Something in the man's body seemed strangely familiar to him. As though they were brothers who had been separated for a long time
"Are you okay?" said Benjamin.
That man grabbed Benjamin's hand. "Lily, you came back to me. I miss you so much. "
Benjamin acted as if swallowing a whole lemon. This guy was heartbroken and crazy. He was a male and the man saw him as a female. Leaving him here must be dangerous. This man was too thin and he began to feel the dirty look at him. He had to take him back. It was unreasonable but he cared about him. He took the taxi to his room. Benjamin didn't his dream was coming true. He is going to have a clever brother. Although not as kind and nice as Jaden, yes. The person that he took in the car was Severus. His half brother
Severus moved uncomfortably. He still had a throbbing headache. The probable reason was that he dranks too much. After hearing bad news about his Lily, his beautiful flowers now no longer exists And it was his fault. He hurt her. He killed her. He heard something and began to realize that he was not here alone. Where? Where? He looked around. The room is quite pleasant but not familiar.
"Revived?" A cheerful voice came from behind. He turned around and saw a young boy with light brown curly hair, sparkling green eyes send a bright smile to him
"Who are you?" Severus asked suspiciously.
"I am Benjamin Snape," said the boy.
Severus' eyes widened. Probably just a coincidence. The same surname didn't always have to be a relative.
"What about you?" asked Benjamin. "What is your name?"
Severus was disconcerted. Before he could say anything, he heard the knocking on the door.
"Let me open first," said Benjamin, Severus sighed.
"Benjy! My sweetums." Grace hugged her son "I think you may be out."
"Let me go, I'm embarrassed." Benjamin tried to wrestle.
"Why are you embarrassed, son." Tobias said, "It was just us."
"No, today I have a guest." Benjamin turned away and saw Severus clenching his fist in the back "Come here," said the boy, beckoning.
Severus walked toward them, his hand still clenched. He must be unlucky.
"You!" Tobias' eyes widened. "What are you doing here?"
" Do you know him?" Both Benjamin and Grace asked at the same time.
"No," Tobias replied, looking at his first son like looking at a dump. "I don't know this brat." He turned to look at his youngest son. "Don't hang out with him." He briefly ordered. "Let's go, honey." He turned to his wife.
"Hurry to the second round of the honeymoon? Father," Severus said sarcastically. Before he could stop himself in time "This time I would like a sister"
Grace turned and shocked. Severus bowed sarcastically. "Nice to meet you, stepmother" before Grace could say anything. Tobias quickly took his wife out of sight.
Benjamin turned and looked at the young man. "You call my dad...?"
" I called him father," said Severus carelessly "He is my father"
However, Benjamin's reaction was different from what he thought.
Benjamin gasped. "Really? So you are my older brother." He glanced at the young man. He already had a brother as he had always dreamed of.
Severus felt uncomfortable. No one had ever looked at him with such admirable eyes before.
"No," Severus said. "You aren't my brother"
Benjamin's face fell but Severus didn't care. "I'm leaving," he said. "Thank you for helping." He turned away.
"What is your name?" Benjamin shouted after him.
"Severus," the black man said without looking back
"Even if you don't count me as your brother but I still count you as mine, therefore, take care of yourself "
Severus looked back. No one ever asked him to take care of himself before. He worked hard but never received even a word of concern. Now the stranger was concerned about him. He felt strange but quite satisfied.
"Thank you," he said. Benjamin's green eye was sparkling
"his eyes were too similar to hers". Severus thought. It wasn't just the shape or the color but the sincerity in his eyes that made him uncomfortable. The man walked away
'It's fine. This is probably the last time that we see each other. '
How very wrong he was.
