A/N: In the Second Time Around universe... the only "plot" here is that this is take 3 of In Her Honour... with fluff! Pairing focus is on Sebusai (married) plus Celes/Terra (married).
In Her Honour, Take 3
Celes and Seven are in complete shock... two lasses, one from Vector, the other with naturally silver hair... all because of the gifts that came from their respective wives, Terra and Sice, plus Odin and Interceptor. From chocolates to stuffed animals and candy - the latter rather odd as Seven typically refrains from sweets that aren't chocolate - with their favourite flowers surrounding things in the shape of heart. Both lasses, upon the mere sight, had their hearts swell up with so much love, and the equal amount of love they get in return, something both of them are beyond grateful for. Although there is chocolate present, Odin and Interceptor are mindful enough to not pursue it. Celes, the observant one, knew that this wasn't Valentine's Day - that holiday just passed - yet it was Seven that is wondering why something like this at the end of February as opposed to the 14th of February. What Seven and Celes weren't aware of was that Carlyn, Snow, Maria, Edge, Y'shtola & Fang - Porom spearheaded the idea - that the love in one's heart shouldn't be limited to just Valentine's Day which inspired Terra and Sice to surprise their wives with something this nice. Sice took full advantage of this as she saw this as a way to bond with Interceptor.
Terra, like Sice, wanted to bond with Odin, who didn't take long to give her his potent feline loving. Using a wrap that is used for newborn babies, Odin had the nap of his life in the wrap that Terra wore while she and Sice went on a quest for the best gifts for Celes and Seven. When it came to the humans, Odin and Interceptor doesn't know how to stop loving them, because of the infinite amount of love they have for every one of them. It was during this adventure that they ran into, by pure chance, Leon, who was also shopping for stuff for Minfilia. A true gentleman. Minfilia hit the jackpot with him, Sice and Terra happily mused to themselves. The trio spend the remainder of the day shopping for things along with Odin and Leon bonding time - complete with a brief hand cuddle Odin initiated, Leon's personal favorite - with all of them having such a wonderful day, enjoying each other's company and getting things done at the same time. It was this time that, and this is thanks to Leon's foresight, that Interceptor was hauled on Leon's special backpack, that way Interceptor doesn't get too carried away in public as like Odin, Interceptor seems to love every human that crosses his path. After getting everything they need for their respective partners, the trio went their separate ways and headed back to their respective homes.
The smiles on Celes and Seven's faces were why this was more than worth it. In her honour, as it came to be known. Terra and Sice wanted to honour the best things that ever happened to them that they weren't related to at all. Interceptor and Odin remain the besties they have been to each other since the moment they met. At the Branford-Chere household, each occupant had a well deserved sleep as a family, just like Odin, Seven and Sice. Odin and Sice were more than happy to share Seven's chest as their pillow.
What a happy day.
