1/13/2657- Union Purchases Large Amount of Antimatter From Hegemony

"Today, the Union and Hegemony governments announced a deal for the purchase of a significant amount of the Hegemony's antimatter reserve by the Union. This deal comes in the wake of severe concern over the rapidly dwindling stockpile available to the Union and its limited production capacity, with most estimates placing full expenditure at between 3 and 5 weeks from now. The first shipment of antimatter, protected by a Hegemony Navy escort, is expected to reach the Union in two weeks."
