11/14/2656-Increased Pirate Activity Within The Cyclops Delta

"Today, a barge was brazenly attacked by a pirate flotilla of half a dozen ships. While a Hierarchy patrol responded to the barge's automated distress call and drove the pirates off, several cargo containers filled with processed metal ingots were stolen, equaling over five thousand tons of iron, copper, lead, titanium, and cobalt. The last week has seen a significant increase in piracy, with the number of attacks rising by 250 percent compared to last month. The attacks have also grown in scale, with pirate forces being far better equipped and going after larger targets. Local Hierarchy officials have vowed to stop these attacks and discover their source of supplies."
