"Situation on the formerly Union planet Thrandis Nue, recently invaded by pirates, has deteriorated into open conflict as the pirates have attempted to exert authority over the nomadic groups of the planet. Several battles between the natives and the pirates have occurred over the last few days, with both taking significant casualties. The effect these conflicts will have on the pirate coalition's hold over the rest of the planet's population, and their own unity, remains unknown."
