The confession hung in the air, all the oxygen was sucked out of her lungs. Her brain was spinning, he couldn't be suggesting what she thought he was, that would be impossible. "Fili" she choked out in a whisper, the word hung between them.
He couldn't hold back anymore not with her right here like this, he was sure she felt the same or at least he prayed she did. He closed the distance between them pressing his lips against her gently. His rough chapped lips resting on her warm soft ones. The world melted away, she froze before she started moving her lips against his. The energy in the air was palpable as she snaked her arms around his neck, his arms finding their way around her waist.
He pulled her closer deepening the kiss, his tongue brushing against her lips as she opened her mouth giving permission. They explored each other's mouths, the taste of each other intoxicating. Every cell in her body was screaming with the electricity coursing through her from the contact. She was pretty sure she was dreaming because she never expected this and it was more than she could ever hope for.
She felt him start kissing her harder, his blonde mustache brushing against her face with every passing of his lips. She could feel his hands move to her hips, gripping them firmly. The sensation of his fingers gripping her like that made her let out a small moan.
His mouth broke contact briefly, "I want you, do you want me?" The words filled with uncertainty, not about him wanting her but he was genuinely worried she didn't want him.
Cheyenne looked into his eyes with an unwavering conviction, "I have never wanted anything in my entire life more than I want you. I've always wanted you, even before I came to Middle Earth."
Without another word Fili closed the distance again, this time kissing her with such passion and unspoken need that it caused her to gasp. His hands gripped her waist tighter as he backed her up till she was flush with the wall. Trapped between the cool wood and Fili's warm body. He kissed her for several more minutes before dropping his lips to her neck. He peppered her neck with warm kisses before he began to nibble slightly. His teeth grazed her skin. He kissed down her skin till he reached her pulse point, sucking on it. This caused her to let out another moan of pleasure.
He tugged on the neck of her dress allowing him access to her bare shoulders where he continued his assault on her skin. Her arms found his shoulders gripping them tightly. She tugged on his shirt and he broke the kiss on her clavicle enough to pull off his shirt and throw it on the ground. Her hands exploded his bare chest, studying every inch of him. Her mind was so far gone by the feeling of him kissing her and wanting her that she wasn't even thinking anyway, just enjoying the moment.
His hand found her leg lifting it up to his waist, his hand slowly traced up her skin. Pushing the hem of the dress away as his hand slipped under it and farther up her thigh. He pressed his warm calcassed fingers into the soft flesh, the motion helping her stay upright as she stood on one leg sandwiched between him and the wall.
"Want to move somewhere more comfortable?" His voice was hoarse.
"Yeah" was all she managed to get out.
He gently put her leg down and moved her over to the table in the corner of the room. It was more of a large bench than an actual table. It was much lower than a normal one and Fili couldn't help but think it was the Valar's gift to them since it was the perfect height for dwarves. He had his hands on her hips gently as he kissed her this time softer but with the same passion as before.
"Do you want to get on the table?" He whispered, his hot breath against her lips. She nodded and he grabbed her legs lifting her up in one effortless motion. Cheyenne let out a small gasp, she had forgotten how strong dwarves really were. He places her gently on the table before recapturing her lips and pushing her legs part with his knee. He moved closer, positioning himself between her legs pushing himself against her.
Her hands rested in his bare check, the warm feeling of his muscles and chest hair underneath her fingers. Her hands slid down to the waist of his pants. She curled her fingers underneath and tugged a little. Making it clear what she wanted as his hands ran through her hair, his lips never leaving hers.
He groaned a little "you sure?"
She nibbled his bottom lip, "yes, I need you Fili, I've always needed you."
He removed one of hands from her hair and used it to pull down his pants till they fell around his ankles. He leaned in further till there was nothing separating them. He kissed her one last time for pushing him inside her slowly. She let out a gasp at the sudden sensation of him inside of her. Her clenching instinctively around him, he let out a moan against her lips.
He felt amazing inside of her, moving against her, their bodies becoming one. The sensation was otherworldly, the feeling of him surrounded her. She had loved him for so long, wanted him before they had ever met and now she had him in every sense of the word.
A knot began to form in her abdomen, as he moved faster, her legs wrapped around his waist. He moved forward, to guide her back so she way laying on the edge of the table. His hands pulled her legs up and over his shoulders as he leaned closer to her. His pace was picking up and he had to hold her in place as she squirmed underneath him.
She gasped and moaned and it only made him need her more. He knew he was close but he wanted to make sure she came as well. Her nails drug into the table as her back arched "FILI" she screamed. He gripped her tighter as he felt her body squeezing and shaking around him as she found her release. With one more thrust he let himself go as he climaxed himself.
She was trembling as he lowered her legs gently, helping her into a sitting position before kissing her gently. He pulled his pants up and found his shirt quickly putting it on before returning his attention to her.
"Are you okay?" He asked gently as he moved a strand of blonde hair from her face, her face was a little sweaty and she was breathing really hard as she sat on the table.
Cheyenne was trying to catch her breath, as she felt Fili move a strand of hair away from her face. Her head was spinning slightly and she could tell by the way his eyes looked that they both were still incredibly drunk. "I'm great" she breathed smiling at him, as he leaned in to give her another kiss, this one was gentle and tender.
"Good, because I wanted to make sure that I didn't hurt you or anything, I know we are both still really drunk. Do you think you can stand?" his voice was low and raspy as he held out a hand for her.
She took his rough hand in hers, and slid off of the table, her legs feeling like jello as she tried to stand. Fili put a hand around her waist to steady her till she got her footing. "Thanks" she said, her face flushing, still in shock about what just happened.
"No problem" he said, leading her over to her sleeping area, which was set up better for him and Fili. His hand lingered on her waist, "that was amazing, I've never done anything like that before." He turned to face her, looking into her eyes, "you're amazing, in every sense of the word."
"Fili" she spoke lovingly, putting a hand against his cheek and rubbing it slowly with her thumb. His wiry beard, course against her skin, "you're pretty amazing yourself" she paused the alcohol lowering her inhibitions so much at this point. "Fili, can I tell you something?"
"Of course"
"I love you"
Fili stared at her for a moment, not sure he had heard her correctly, then a broad grin spread across his face as he started kissing her again."I love you too, I think I've loved you since the incident with the trolls."
Cheyenne leaned into the kiss, as they stood there for a few moments relishing in their new found confessions. Soon though her head began to spin again as the alcohol and sex was making her sleepy and lightheaded. Fili seemed to realize what was happening and was starting to feel it too.
"We should probably lay down and go to sleep" he said, easing her to the floor and onto her sleeping spot before laying down on his about a foot away.
"I really hope we remember this tomorrow" she said, her eyes starting to close, "we did have a lot of alcohol."
He reached out a hand and gently took her, intertwining their fingers, his hand was so much bigger it practically engulfed it. He gave it a squeeze before closing his eyes, "I hope we do too because that is something I never want to forget for the rest of my life."
The next day light steamed in the room through the grimy windows, falling onto the two of them. Cheyenne groaned and used her hand to cover her eyes as her head pounded.
"Good morning you two" Kili said slyly standing on to the side of her smirking down at the two of them. Fili was just now waking up to and seemed to be in about the same state as her. What the hell happened last night? She asked herself as she tried to get her eyes to focus and take in the light. Her head and lower half aching, she understood her head but her pelvis and legs she was confused about. She felt a warmth and pressure against her other hand and turned her head to focus her eyes. She was shocked that there was a hand holding hers. Her gaze went up the arm and to the face of Fili who was just starting to realize what they were doing as well. They both quickly let go and tried to sit up to look at Kili.
Kili chuckled still looking at them, the rest of the company moving around behind him collecting their things and packing them up. "No need to stop on my behalf lovebirds" his voice filled with teasing.
"Shut up" Fili grumbled "were not lovebirds" he couldn't quite remember last night, other than seeing Cheyenne singing and coming into the house with her before it all started to get fuzzy. He was surprised to find that they had been holding hands while they slept but it filled him with a sense of comfort.
"Oh I beg to differ dear brother" Kili chuckled and shook his head, he noticed Cheyenne and Fili looking at him with confusion. His smile widened, "what else would you call a couple of newlyweds?"
They both froze, Cheyenne's heart pounding in her chest so hard that she was sure everyone in the room could hear it too. Thankfully Fili spoke up, "don't be ridiculous, we aren't married."
"Yes you are" Bofur interjected, coming over to them and laughing, "what you don't remember? You two got married last night, though you seemed pretty drunk so I'm not completely surprised you forgot."
Somehow Bofur interjecting made this whole thing seem more plausible, and Cheyenne shook her head standing up her legs feeling as though she had run a marathon. "There is no way me and Fili got married" she said fairly confidently even though she did not remember what happened. "Even if we did want to marry each other for some bizarre reason, Thorin would never allow his precious princely nephew to marry me, a regular human, who couldn't even carry on the bloodline."
They all looked to Thorin who stopped and smiled a little, "normally I would not but you're a special case, you're just as much a dwarf or a member of this company as anyone else. We wouldn't be alive without you after all, so I gave my blessing for you two to be married."
Cheyenne felt as though she was going to throw up, she turned to look at all the dwarves in turn trying to see if she could figure out if any of them were lying. She turned to Fili, "do you remember last night?"
His face was pale and he looked just as startled by the news as she was, "I don't remember anything."
There was a moment of silence as they both tried to figure out what to say to each other or how to feel about this situation.
All of a sudden Kili started laughing followed by the rest of the company, even Thorin chuckled a bit, his serious exterior cracking a little. "The look on both your faces is priceless, we're only messing with you, because we know you were too drunk to remember. You're not married, we all came in to call it a night and found you both already asleep like that, holding hands. So we thought it would be fun to play a joke on you when you woke up."
For a fleeting moment Cheyenne felt a wave of sadness that was then replaced with a sense of relief. It was stupid but she knew that things would never work with Fili. He was her friend and she had a job to do and it wasn't like he would ever feel the same way about her as she felt about him. Thinking overwise was just foolish.
She let out a small laugh, "good one for a minute there I was starting to think that we had made a huge mistake." She cringed as the words came out of her mouth, she didn't look at Fili, not wanting to see his expression.
Fili felt a pang of hurt at her words, sure they were just friends but he did love her and had hoped that maybe one day things would be different between them. The way she was talking made it clear to him that she would never want him the same way.
Thorin's voice came in a gruff tone as he finished packing up his bag, "enough of the foolishness, we need to finish getting supplies and start making our way to the mountain, Durin's Day is approaching."
