Here we go again! I've had a craving to type more Warriors for some reason.
Chapter 5: The Day Before the Search Begins
The Next Day:
Sunnypelt woke up in the Warrior's den and thought to herself, 'Okay. So, my mother doesn't blame me for her death. Good to know.' Sunnypelt's eyes half closed as the sun lit up the Warrior's Den. She padded out of the Warrior's Den and stretched felinely. Sunnypelt looked at Leafstar's den and mewed quietly, "So. Tinycloud said that Starclan is in a state of Emergency because of Firestar vowing to destroy them. Which is why she was able to be direct and straight to the point. I need to get closer to him. If I needed to become his mate, my mother would've told me. I just need to become his best friend and the one he trusts most in Skyclan. However, that's easier said than done as he is trying to push everyone away. How can I convince him that the three mates he thought he killed and ate are still alive?"
Sunnypelt sighed and muttered, "This must be kinda like how Firestar feels all the time. The weight of our world is currently on my shoulders. If I can not convince him, our world will implode on itself. I have a year, give or take a moon." She took a breath and walked up to Leafstar's den. Her gaze wandered over to Firestar's den, and she changed her course. Sunnypelt walked over to Firestar's den.
Sunnypelt sat in front of his den and waited to be greeted. Once it took him a while to greet her, she listened intently and gasped quietly as she heard Firestar's breathing. She muttered, "His breathing is slow and controlled. Wish I could say I didn't believe it, but he didn't sleep for a week. He's knocked the fuck out. And lo and behold, no one is dead, the clan wasn't murdered in its sleep, and he didn't hurt anyone. I'm so surprised." Sunnypelt finished her sentence sarcastically.
A feminine voice behind Sunnypelt caused her to jump. "Thought I'd find you here." said the voice. Sunnypelt turned around and ducked her head in respect to Leafstar. Leafstar mewed, "I was going to tell Firestar my request for him to earn his keep, but I suppose I can wait. He must be out like a dead mouse." Sunnypelt asked, "What is your request for him? I can tell him when he wakes."
Leafstar's eyes glinted with mischief and she asked, "Why do you wanna be the one to tell him?" Sunnypelt replied confidently, "I wouldn't need to be, if I could trust the single she-cats in this clan, that includes you too Leafstar; to not jump on Firestar's dick while he's sleeping. But alas, all of you looked at him with your eyes full of lust when you first saw him." Leafstar purred in amusement and said, "Fair enough. The request is for him to do border patrols and hunting parties solo."
Sunnypelt's eyes widened in disbelief and she mewed, "You want him to do both of those solo when he is assigned to them?!" Leafstar nodded her agreement and Sunnypelt continued, "You want him out there, by himself, even with Blo…. the rogues intent on killing us all out there, planning their next attack?" Leafstar's ears twitched as Sunnypelt almost said Bloodclan and she retorted calmly, "We all saw what he was capable of if the need arises. He could solo all the rogues at once and look good while doing it." Sunnypelt mewed, "Not the point. I refuse to let him do those alone. I will join him."
Leafstar's eyes widened and she asked, "Are you sure?" Sunnypelt nodded and Leafstar sighed. She mewed, "Alright. Besides, since you both smell of Thunderclan primarily currently, it will make the rogues think twice about attacking us again as they will think another clan is here, helping us. If I could trust he wouldn't snap, I'd order you two to sleep together in his den to keep the scent of Thunderclan strong. Speaking of, it's larger than I remember."
Sunnypelt blushed lightly at the thought of sleeping in Firestar's Den with him and she shook her head to clear it as she muttered, "He won't snap. Tigerstar tricked him. Besides. I just need to become his best friend, not his mate."
Sunnypelt raised her voice and said, "Well. I can not confirm nor deny if you can trust him to not snap, but I can tell you that if he does, I can get through to him. The choice is yours on whether or not to order that. I'd recommend making the announcement about it after he's awake if you do choose to order it. Do keep in mind though, he and I met only five moons ago, so he might not be comfortable with it."
Leafstar asked seriously, "Would you be comfortable with it?" Sunnypelt answered, "He has never once attempted to hurt me in any way. In fact he has helped me and saved my life more than once, thus resulting in me trusting him fully. It wouldn't bother me, but I can't speak for him." Leafstar examined Sunnypelt's body language, trying to see if she could figure out Sunnypelt's true intentions, but found nothing. Leafstar mewed after a few moments, "Noted. I'll think about it. Let me know when he wakes up."
Sunnypelt mewed, "Of course." Leafstar left Sunnypelt in front of Firestar's den. Sunnypelt sighed and sat in front of Firestar's den, waiting for him to wake up.
A few hours Later:
Firestar's eyes opened slowly and he immediately feared the worst. He got to his paws swiftly and said, "Please no. God please no." He bolted out of his den and ran into a she-cat. Both of them rolled on the ground and the she-cat wound up on top. Firestar recognized Sunnypelt. He pushed her off of him, rolled to his paws, and immediately backed up saying, "I-I am so sorry. I can't expect you to forgive me for slaughtering Skyclan. I'll be taking my leave. Stay safe."
Sunnypelt purred in amusement and said, "I can't forgive you because you didn't hurt anyone. And you better not be leaving. Not this soon." Firestar's eyes widened in disbelief and Sunnypelt continued, "Yeah. You fell asleep. You didn't hurt anyone, you didn't kill anyone, and you didn't snap. What did you expect? That when you finally fell asleep, you would become a mindless killing machine?"
Firestar exclaimed, "That's exactly what I expected! I asked you to keep me awake by any means necessary for a reason! I didn't ask you that for shits and giggles!" Sunnypelt laughed and said, "Mousebrain. Come on. Leafstar asked me to let her know when you woke up. Something about her request for you to earn your keep while you're here in Skyclan." Firestar looked at his paws, expecting to see them coated with blood, but he saw no blood on them. Sunnypelt mewed, "Come on you big oaf. Let's go see Leafstar." Sunnypelt turned around and waited for Firestar to get beside her. Firestar slowly and hesitantly padded over to Sunnypelt. Once he was beside her, the two walked towards Leafstar's den.
Leafstar greeted them and said, "Good to see you awake, Firestar." Leafstar yowled, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, meet under Highrock for a clan meeting!" Firestar and Sunnypelt began to walk down to join the rest of Skyclan, but Leafstar mewed, "Firestar. Stay up here with me. You're a leader too. You will be on my left and my deputy; Hawkwing; will be on my right." Firestar couldn't believe his ears, but listened to what Leafstar said and got on her left and sat down, looking over the clearing.
A big, sturdy, and sleek-furred tabby dark gray tom with yellow eyes and a broad face walked up to be beside Leafstar. He sat down on Leafstar's right side. Leafstar mewed, "Hawkwing this is Firestar." She used her tail to point towards Firestar and she continued, "Firestar, this is my deputy, Hawkwing." Firestar mewed, "Nice to meet you." Hawkwing mewed gruffly, "Likewise."
Once Skyclan had gathered, Firestar saw a few she-cats eyeing him hungrily. He gulped lightly and Leafstar mewed, "I have made a decision. Firestar, to earn your keep here in Skyclan, you are to do border patrols and Hunting parties with only Sunnypelt when you are assigned to them." Firestar mewed, "Fair enough." Leafstar continued, "Also! You and Sunnypelt are to share your den. That's an order." Several she-cats argued against it. Firestar opened his mouth to argue, but thought to himself, 'Right. They still follow the old code. Damn it!' Firestar growled hesitantly, "As you wish."
A she-cat said loud enough for everyone to hear, "How is that fair?! Why are those two supposed to share a den?!" Firestar looked at the source of the voice and saw a pale-orange she-cat with green eyes with long legs and a chin that tapered to a point. She continued, "Just explain to me how that's fair! Give us one good reason! Us single she-cats would kill for a chance to sleep in the same den as Firestar!"
Leafstar shook her head in disbelief and answered, "Bellaleaf. I know you have had some cravings since Rabbitleap was killed by the rogues during the third attack. All of us who lost their mate because of the rogues have; myself included, but do try to understand. I am having them sleep in the same den as they both smell mostly of Thunderclan. We need to keep that scent of Thunderclan strong, so having them sleep in Firestar's den without any other cats will slowly remove the scent of Skyclan from both of them. That way when they do the border patrols, the rogues will smell the combined scent of Skyclan and Thunderclan. Which should hopefully ward off any more attacks as they will think that another clan came to help us. Which should also lower the chance that we will lose more members of Skyclan due to fighting. It makes the most sense. I am doing it to force the rogues to think that another clan has come to help us. As far as the rogues know, Skyclan is the only clan around here."
Firestar thought to himself, 'As much as I hate the fact that she ordered Sunnypelt and I to share my den, Leafstar has a point. It's smart to make Bloodclan think another clan has come to Skyclan's aid. I get why Leafstar's doing this, but I still don't like it. What if I snap and kill Sunnypelt?! N-No. Don't think like that. Remember Firestar, Sunnypelt is the one who Starclan told you about! All of the signs point to Sunnypelt being the one who will save you from yourself. So even if you do snap, she can and will get through to you.'
After Leafstar explained it, Bellaleaf closed her mouth and said, "Fine. I get it, but I don't like it." Leafstar sighed in disbelief and asked, "Any other objections?" No one said anything and Leafstar said, "Good. Meeting adjourned!" As the clan dispersed, Firestar turned his emerald gaze toward Leafstar and mewed, "I get why you ordered Sunnypelt and I to share a den, but I don't like it. You told me you didn't want to get close to anyone as a way to prevent me from snapping. Now you're telling me to share a den with Sunnypelt?" Sunnypelt's voice reached Firestar's ears as she said with warmth and understanding, "Do you not want to?"
Firestar looked at Sunnypelt and mewed, "It isn't that. You and I are friends so I wouldn't want it to be anyone else, but I also don't want to hurt you if Tigerstar forces me to snap. Then again, if you are indeed the one that I think you are, it won't be an issue. I have never been much of a gambler, but I suppose I am okay with taking the risk just this once." Sunnypelt flashed a smile and Firestar continued, "However. I would like for you to sleep far away from me in my den. Just last night when I finally passed out after a week of no sleep, I had several nightmares. I know I'm a fighter and that doesn't change in my nightmares. I don't want to risk clawing or biting you in my sleep; so sleeping far away from me will be your safest bet. But, the choice is yours."
Sunnypelt mewed, "I understand. But I have a feeling you won't attack me in your sleep, even with your nightmares. Maybe having someone sleeping with you in your den that you trust, will ease your mind and prevent nightmares." Firestar said, "Mayhaps." Leafstar mewed, "It's decided then."
Leafstar teased, "Since someone overslept, you two are free from patrols and hunting today. Don't let it happen again." Firestar mewed, "Of course." Leafstar flirted with Firestar quietly, "However. If you ever need to get rid of some stress, let me know. I'd be happy to oblige your sinful desires." Firestar couldn't believe what Leafstar had said to him and he thought to himself, 'Why did she say it like that?! Does she think she's a toy to be passed around?! If that's the case, her old mate was the fucking worst kind of Tom!' Firestar blushed lightly and retorted, "Why don't you invite one of the toms' of Skyclan that lost their mate because of the rogues; to mate? I am from Thunderclan. Code one." Leafstar giggled and said, "Truthfully? Because you're young. Meaning I know you have stamina. And there's something about you that tells me you're quite a phenomenal time when it comes to mating. I get this feeling if you and I do mate, I won't be able to walk for quite awhile. But that same feeling tells me that if you and I do mate, I won't want to mate anyone else, aside from you, ever again. Probably because of some of the things you can pull off. And at this point, fuck Code one. Skyclan's numbers have dropped drastically because of the rogue attacks and we need to up our numbers. Besides. You are the leader of Lionclan, which as you told me is all the clans combined into one. Meaning Skyclan cats are members are Lionclan cats as well. Which means that Code One won't be broken. Why did you think I had you join me on Highrock during the clan meeting? Because I am telling you now, Skyclan will join with Lionclan." Firestar argued, "But Skyclan hasn't joined Lionclan officially yet. Meaning we are still in separate clans."
Leafstar purred in amusement and replied, "I am telling you, Skyclan will happily join up with Lionclan. It'd be interesting to join the other clans in a single, yet separate clan. And this place is no longer safe for us. So when you kill Tigerstar, if you have decided against killing yourself by that point, we will follow you to the New Forest and happily join up with Lionclan officially."
Leafstar continued, "Anyhow. You two get something to eat and do a protection patrol towards our south border. Defend this territory like you would defend Lionclan's territory, Firestar. Got it?" Firestar mewed, "Of course."
Firestar and Sunnypelt walked towards the fresh-kill pile and Sunnypelt mewed, "I am shocked you didn't take Leafstar up on her offer to mate her. And you let her down gently. Must have experience doing that." Firestar chuckled and said, "Of course I didn't take her up on her offer. I am loyal to all seven of my mates. Several she-cats have thrown themselves at me. But I am not a fucktom. I will always be loyal to my mates. So, I suppose you could say I do have experience turning she-cats down."
Sunnypelt asked, "I hope you don't mind me asking this, but when was the last time you had sex?" Firestar blushed brightly and answered, "I don't mind, but that is a pretty personal question. Let me think. It would've been with Honeypaw, Silverstream, and Splashfur. So… That would've been seven moons ago, give or take a moon." Splashfur's eyes widened and she said, "That long? How didn't you jump at the chance to fuck Leafstar?!"
Firestar laughed and said, "Believe me. It wasn't easy to pass that up as I am very pent up. But the answer is quite simple. I will only have sex with the ones I love. No one-night stands. Like I said, I am not a fucktom. How about yourself? When's the last time you had sex?" Sunnypelt blushed bright red and she looked down as she shifted her paws in embarrassment and answered shyly, "I-I have never had sex. I'm a virgin."
Firestar's jaw dropped and he said, "Can you repeat that? I don't think I heard you right." Sunnypelt answered again, "Never. I'm a virgin." Firestar said, clearly flabbergasted, "How in the hell has a she-cat like you not found a mate?!"
Sunnypelt answered shyly, "No Tom I have met has completely caught my attention in that way. The only one who has even remotely caught my attention in that way is you, Firestar. However, the reason I believe you caught my attention like that even remotely; is because of how interesting you are, Firestar. The youngest Leader in Warrior history, has several mates but doesn't fuck every she-cat that crosses his path because he is loyal to his mates, united the clans of the new forest into one clan, changed the Warrior Code and the Medicine Cat Code with the blessing of Starclan nonetheless, you don't brag about your looks in any way, your prowess in combat is unmatched, etc. I could continue listing off the reasons why you're interesting, but we'd be here all day and night."
Firestar blushed as he listened to Sunnypelt and once she finished speaking, Firestar mewed, "W-Well… okay then. I appreciate the compliment." Sunnypelt nodded shyly and the two grabbed some fresh-kill. After they had finished eating, the two cats left the camp of Skyclan and headed for the southern border.
With Ragnar:
Ragnar looked around Thunderclan's camp, looking for any hint of Firestar, Sunnypelt, Spottedleaf, Olivenose, or Heathertail, but found nothing. He grumbled, "Fucks sake! Where did his dumbass go?!" Ragnar scented the air and caught the slightest hint of all the cats that were left in Thunderclan's camp. Ragnar flashed a toothy grin and said, "Got you." As he followed the slight scent trail, he stumbled. Ragnar looked down and saw a slight indent in the mud that looked like someone or something was dragged.
Ragnar mewed, "Now what in the hell happened here?" Ragnar followed the trail towards Firestar's Leader den in Thunderclan. His jaw dropped as he saw that the inside of Firestar's den was coated with blood. Ragnar took a whiff of the air and growled, "That isn't the blood of a cat. That's dog blood! What happened?! Maybe the camp was attacked by dogs… No. That can't be it. The blood would be dispersed sporadically and erratically if a battle happened. And the spray of blood doesn't indicate a claw or bite. It must've been placed like this… But why? Hmm. I will keep investigating this."
With Sunnypelt and Firestar:
Firestar and Sunnypelt walked towards the southern border, the sun and moon visible in the sky. A breeze of wind caused the scent of rogues to assault both of the cats' noses. Firestar ordered, "Stay close. I think we have company and not the fun kind." Sunnypelt nodded her agreement and the two approached the southern border cautiously. A yowl of battle disturbed the peace and Firestar yelled, "SHIT! IT'S AN AMBUSH!"
Firestar watched several rogues surround the two. Firestar looked at the claws of the approaching rogues and saw metal claw tips. He hissed, "Bloodclan! Sunnypelt, whatever you do, do not let them cut you! Those claw tips cut deeper and do more damage! Worst case scenario, you are to fall back to Skyclan! Got it?!" Sunnypelt argued, "I refuse to let you fight them alone! I will be fine!" Firestar growled in annoyance and said, "Fine."
Firestar eyed the assailants, trying to figure out a plan and smiled as it came to him. Firestar roared a powerful battlecry and leapt into combat.
Firestar avoided several claws and blocked one that was heading for his throat. Firestar gasped in pain as the metal tips cut deep into his front legs. Firestar's front legs healed in a flash of fire and he avoided another attack. Firestar got an idea and he bit deep into the calico's front leg. Firestar grunted with effort and yanked his head back, teeth still in the calico's front leg. The cat yowled in pain and Firestar yanked back hard as he could once more and tore the cat's front leg off. Blood sprayed onto Firestar's face and he smirked as the cat yowled in agony.
Firestar dropped the cat's missing leg and quickly slashed the calico's throat twice. The cat twitched once before it fell forward, dead. Firestar spat, "Consider that a mercy kill. I'd rather you not bleed out. Who's next?!" Firestar slipped a she-cat's claw and retaliated with a powerful right hook. Firestar laughed maniacally as his paw went through the she-cat's head and caused it to explode. As the she-cats head exploded, blood and brain matter coated Firestar's pelt entirely. Firestar laughed hysterically and yelled, "THIS IS FUN! COME ON! TRY ME! WHO ELSE WANTS TO DIE?!"
Sunnypelt's eyes widened in disgust as Firestar's hook exploded a she-cat's head. She felt sick to her stomach but fought against the urge to vomit. She evaded a tabby white tom's leap and dug her claws deep into the tom's flank. As the tom leapt over Sunnypelt, her claws cut deep into the tom's flank. Blood dripped onto her. The Tom yowled in pain and retreated. She hissed, "That's one! Come on! Show me what you're made of!" Sunnypelt dashed backward and shot forward fast as a snake bites its prey.
Sunnypelt avoided an ugly she-cat's leap and leapt into her, sending the she-cat toward Firestar. Sunnypelt dropped to her stomach as a tom flew over her. Sunnypelt got to her paws and felt claws rake her left flank. Sunnypelt hissed in pain and immediately the air around Firestar changed.
Firestar heard Sunnypelt's hiss of pain and he immediately switched targets to the one who injured Sunnypelt. He appeared to vanish from where he was. He reappeared right beside Sunnypelt as the tom who injured Sunnypelt fell backward dead because of a slash across its throat. Firestar hissed, "Anyone who hurts her, dies!" Sunnypelt grumbled, "It's just a small cut."
Firestar ignored Sunnypelt's words and leapt at a tabby male calico. The two rolled on the ground and Firestar kicked the Tom off of himself. He growled, "You're a rare male calico. I shall spare you. Leave. NOW! Or do you wanna end up like the others who thought attacking us was smart?!" The tom looked at Firestar and nodded his understanding. Firestar watched the tom retreat and he turned his attention back to the remaining ten rogues. He said evilly, "The rest of you, aren't rare breeds. Prepare to die!"
Firestar leapt towards the battle once more and quickly slaughtered three cats. Firestar cackled and said, "Your clan is nothing but a makeshift batch of rogues that think they deserve the honor of being called a clan. You're all pathetic!" Firestar's eyes wandered over to Sunnypelt and his heart sunk. A brown and white tom had just about slashed Sunnypelt's throat before she could react. Firestar felt something within him snap and he roared loud as he could. The battle had stopped momentarily because of Firestar's powerful roar, but the tom about to kill Sunnypelt didn't stop. Time seemed to slow for him and sprinted towards Sunnypelt. He tackled the assailant before its attack could find its mark. The two rolled several feet on the ground. Before they came to a stop, the two rolled through a deep puddle. It immediately cleansed Firestar's pelt of blood.
Firestar's killing intent dropped substantially and he got to his paws. He asked, befuddled, "Wait. What is going on? What am I doing?" Firestar avoided the tom's attack and retaliated with a flaming fist as he said, "Right. Protecting her. She has to be the one Starclan told me about, so I will defend her with my life! That's the only thing that makes sense! Hopefully, they're correct and she will save me from this path I've chosen before it's too late!" Firestar watched the tom fly into a rock from Firestar's punch and it slumped down, unconscious.
Sunnypelt had not heard what Firestar had said, her mind concerned with the battle at hand. She evaded several attacks and slipped a bite perfectly. Sunnypelt closed her paw and hit the she-cat with a quick uppercut. Sunnypelt felt something in her paw become sprained and she muttered, "Damn it! Firestar makes it look so damn easy!" Sunnypelt felt the pain dull and she avoided another attack.
Firestar leapt back into the battle. After another hour, Sunnypelt and Firestar pushed the rogues back. After the last rogue had retreated, Sunnypelt collapsed on the spot. Firestar yowled, "SUNNYPELT NO!" Firestar began to examine her body, looking for injuries and saw two deep cuts on her flanks. Blood dripped from the wounds and Firestar mewed, "I told you to retreat if you needed to. Silly she-cat. Thankfully, adrenaline is a hell of a drug." Firestar kept checking for injuries and found several minor ones. Firestar muttered, "Thankfully, any wounds I got, no matter how minuscule, healed in a flash of fire." Firestar looked at the two deep cuts on Sunnypelt's flanks and he mewed, "They don't look fatal. Thank Christ for that. However, there is a small pool of blood below her. I need to treat her flanks the best I can. I need cobwebs at the very least. Never thought I'd be so grateful that Honeypaw taught me basic medicine cat stuff." Firestar glanced around, looking for any herbs he could use. He found some cobwebs and began to dress the cuts on Sunnypelt's flanks. Sunnypelt's sides heaved as she took several deep breaths.
Once Firestar was satisfied that the cuts on Sunnypelt's flanks were properly dressed with the cobwebs he found, Firestar shook his head and mewed, "Come on. I need your help, Sunnypelt. I can't get you on my back alone." Firestar bit gently into the scruff of Sunnypelt's neck. Sunnypelt helped as best she could until she was on Firestar's back. Sunnypelt mewed, "T-Thank you." Firestar mewed, "Save your strength. You lost a lot of blood. Rest. You've earned it." Sunnypelt mewed, "I just might take you up on that offer." Sunnypelt closed her eyes and fell asleep on Firestar's back, exhausted from blood loss.
Firestar looked the field of battle over once more and sighed as he saw a she-cat without a head. He mewed, "Guess I lost control at some point. Damn it!" Firestar walked toward Skyclan's camp, Sunnypelt asleep on his back.
After an hour of walking slowly and carefully, Firestar made it back to Skyclan's entrance. Firestar yelled, "I need a medicine cat! STAT!" A leggy, mottled, light-brown tabby she-cat with spotted legs and pale green eyes walked out of the Medicine Den. At the sight of Sunnypelt on Firestar's back, she ran towards them. She examined Sunnypelt's wounds and seemed impressed. She mewed, "Who treated her wounds?" Firestar mewed, "I did." The she-cats eyes widened in surprise and she asked, "Who taught you?" Firestar answered honestly, "One of my mates. Honeypaw. She is a medicine-cat apprentice of Thunderclan. Who might you be?" The she-cat's eyes widened in disbelief as Firestar told her he was the mate of a Medicine Cat.
The she-cat mewed, "The name is Frecklewish. However, you do realize that you and Honeypaw are breaking the Medicine Cat Code correct? Unbelievable! I can't believe you'd admit to something like that!" Firestar replied honestly, "Where I am from, the Warrior Code and Medicine Cat Code have been changed. Besides, Starclan okayed Honeypaw and I being together before I changed both codes with the blessing of Starclan." Firestar immediately realized his mistake, but Frecklewish mewed, "Interesting. You aren't lying, I can tell. I won't pry or tell anyone. For now. Come. Bring Sunnypelt to the Medicine Den." Firestar nodded his understanding and followed Frecklewish to the Medicine Den.
Frecklewish mewed, "Set her down over there." she pointed to an empty mossbed with her tail. Firestar listened and gently set Sunnypelt down on the mossbed. He mewed, "I only used cobwebs. I couldn't find any marigold." Frecklewish mewed, "That's fine. At least you stopped the bleeding for the most part. You're dismissed. Better tell Leafstar what happened." Firestar nodded his understanding and exited the Medicine Den.
Firestar walked up to Leafstar's den and sat down. Leafstar mewed, "Come in, Firestar." Firestar walked in and blushed as Leafstar was lying down on her back, hind legs spread. She asked, "Come to take up my request?" Firestar shook his head, fighting his male instinct with everything he had. He sat down slowly, fighting against his instinct to mate Leafstar. Firestar mewed slowly, taking back control of his body, "No. I am not. I have come to give you a report about what happened at the southern border." Leafstar mewed, sounding impressed, "You almost broke, yet you didn't. Intriguing. By Starclan, how long has it been since you had sex?"
Firestar mewed slowly, "Seven moons. Give or take a moon. Yourself?" Leafstar whistled and said, "A young tom like you is able to fight against your instinct after that long without stress relief? Impressive. And to answer your question, almost four moons have passed since my mate was killed by the rogues, however the last time I mated it was with him about six moons ago." Firestar's eyes traced Leafstar's body and his instinct kicked into overdrive again. He forced his claws out and dug them deep into the ground he was sitting on. Leafstar smirked and said, "I wonder how long you'll last if I stay like this. What's the report?" Firestar hissed, "First of all, fuck you." Leafstar teased, "Sounds like fun."
Firestar's eyes kept tracing Leafstar's body and he continued, "Secondly, there were rogues by the southern border. Sunnypelt and I pushed them back, however she was hurt in the battle. She is in the medicine den currently." Firestar couldn't take it anymore and leapt at Leafstar.
Firestar had pinned Leafstar to the ground and she giggled as she said, "The question is, this close, will you be able to fight it? Let's see." Leafstar stuck out her chest and craned her neck allowing the tom above to see all of her. Firestar's eyes traced her body, the tip of his shaft protruding from its sheathe. Slowly, but surely, all of it came out. Leafstar looked and her eyes widened in fear as she mewed, "B-By Starclan, you are well endowed. Guess my assumption was correct. If you destroy me with that, I won't be able to walk for a long time." Firestar shook his head several times to clear it. Leafstar looked at him curiously. She mewed, "So. The question is what are you gonna do now? I consent, but that was obvious." Leafstar watched Firestar's face and smiled as she watched him struggle against his male instinct. She mewed seductively, "Take me. Take me right here and now! Make me your good obedient toy that will oblige any and all of your darkest desires! DO IT! I WANT IT!"
Everything inside Firestar was fighting him, trying to get him to mate the she-cat below him. Firestar growled quietly, fighting his male instinct with everything he could. After ten minutes, slowly but surely, he unpinned Leafstar. Leafstar looked surprised but mewed, "Impressive. You are quite interesting, Firestar. Everything in you wants you to give in and make me your personal toy. However, you fought against it. And seeing what I saw, I want to become your personal little toy." Leafstar smiled mischievously and said, "I wonder if you will be able to fight it when I am in heat. That will be the true test of your willpower." Firestar backed up to the entrance of Leafstar's den, his member retreating back into its protective sheath.
Firestar hissed angrily, "If you want me to mate you, we will need to fall for one another. I don't do one night stands! And you should really treat yourself with respect as well. You are not a toy for someone's desires. Until you learn that, you and I will never fall for one another! Meaning you and I will never mate!" Firestar exited Leafstar's den. Leafstar looked shocked at his words and she watched him leave. She mewed quietly, "He has a point. I can't help it. Billystorm treated me like a toy. When it came to mating, that is all I have ever thought of myself. I have only thought of myself as a toy because of Billystorm. Damn. Never in my eighty-six moons have I met someone quite like this Firestar. Hmmm." Leafstar rolled to her stomach and pondered what Firestar had said.
Firestar marched to his den angrily and spat, "Who the fuck does she think she is?! Here I am, struggling with everything that's happened to me because of Starclan, and then Leafstar just makes things worse! Damn it! I can't believe she thinks she's a toy to be used. Fucking hell. Her old mate really was the worst kind of Tom. She needs to learn to carry herself with respect and not just throw her core at random Tom's she just met." Firestar sighed and walked into his den. Firestar laid down and curled up as he muttered, "Thank Starclan I can control my male instinct almost entirely, or I would've just cheated on my harem. No. No more. I must completely master my male instinct. If my willpower was even a fraction weaker, I would've done it. Fucking hell. I could always vent my sexual frustration in combat, but that would be reckless. If I let my pent up testosterone control me in combat, who knows how barbaric I'd become." Firestar sat up and muttered, "Time to meditate or some shit. Anything to master it."
That Night:
Firestar finished meditating and stretched. He walked out of his den, the breeze causing the grass to sway. Firestar mewed, "I should go check on Sunnypelt." Firestar walked towards Leafstar's den and leapt down the stairs. He landed gracefully and sat outside the Medicine Den. A masculine voice mewed, "Come in, Firestar."
Firestar walked into the Medicine Den and was greeted warmly by Fidgetflake. Firestar asked, "How is she?" Fidgetflake answered with a chuckle, "Ask her yourself."
Sunnypelt mewed, "You came to check on me?" Firestar looked at her and answered, "Of course I did! You're my friend. I am glad you're alright." Sunnypelt asked, "Am I cleared to return to duties?" Fidgetflake mewed, "Indeed. You can thank Firestar for your swift recovery. He treated you himself on the battlefield." Sunnypelt mewed, "Wonderful."
Firestar and Sunnypelt walked out of the Medicine Den together. Firestar asked, "You ready to sleep in the den tonight?" Sunnypelt nodded and Firestar continued, "Good. I have a few questions to ask about Leafstar before we sleep if you don't mind." Sunnypelt said, "Of course, I don't mind."
Firestar and Sunnypelt walked into Firestar's den. Firestar sat down on his mossbed and Sunnypelt followed suit. Sunnypelt asked, "So. What's on your mind?"
Firestar answered, "There is no nice way to say this. So I will just come out and say it. The fuck is wrong with her?" Sunnypelt giggled and said, "She already tried to get you to mate her, didn't she?" Firestar nodded and said, "And it almost bloody worked! I regained control of my instincts thankfully. But seriously, does she throw herself at every tom that comes to Skyclan?!"
Sunnypelt answered, "First of all, I'd like to apologize on behalf of Skyclan for her behavior. Secondly, no she doesn't. She only throws herself at the ones she finds interesting. Thirdly, it's mostly Billystorm's fault. He was so focused on making a family here in Skyclan, that he treated Leafstar like a toy up until his untimely demise. I say good riddance, but not everyone feels the same as I do. I don't think she knows what love actually is. She probably thinks sex is necessary to get along with the ones she finds interesting."
Firestar sighed and said, "I had thought that." He blushed as he remembered the scene and he mewed shyly, "Good grief. She doesn't know how to communicate. Know what she said to me when I pinned her?" Sunnypelt shook her head and Firestar mewed, "She said I was well endowed for fucks sake!" Sunnypelt laughed and said, "Well. That doesn't surprise me. Rumors about Billystorm's member spread like wildfire through Skyclan." Firestar gagged and said, "Please, don't tell me. I have an idea."
Sunnypelt laughed again and she mewed, "It's most likely the opposite of what you think." Firestar mewed, "Seriously? So he was not endowed at all. Dear god. Wait. Wait. WAIT!" Sunnypelt tilted her head to the side and mewed, "Yes?"
Firestar continued, "You're saying that Leafstar, who threw herself at me, had to deal with a mate who had what is known as a shrimp dick in the world of Twolegs?" Sunnypelt asked, "What are you saying?" Firestar continued, "What I am saying, is that the she-cat who was used as a toy by her mate, is still technically a virgin, somehow, someway because Small Billy couldn't break the hymen. Jesus Christ." Sunnypelt mewed, "That about sums it up, yeah."
Firestar shook his head in disbelief as he mewed, "Just. Damn. Unfortunate. I understand why she's so god damn horny now at least. She's never actually been satisfied. Fucks sake." Firestar sighed and said, "I need to get some sleep. Today was one hell of a day. However, first things first." Sunnypelt eyed Firestar with curiosity.
Firestar made a circle at the entrance of the den with dirt. Firestar's claws ignited in flames and he growled, "You better stay in this circle and don't burn the den down." Firestar ripped one of his flaming claws out with his teeth and blood sprayed the circle. He hissed in pain but watched a fire blaze to life, protecting the entrance with white hot flames. Sunnypelt exclaimed, "The fuck are you doing?! You're gonna burn the den down!" Firestar answered, "Protecting myself from the hungry and horny she-cats. The looks I got when standing beside Leafstar from some of the she-cats scared me. And no, I won't. Normally, I'd call upon Stripestar to protect me, but you know how the relationship between Starclan and myself is currently. I suppose I could call for Sharptooth. I made it so Sharptooth could always find me, no matter what. That's a better idea." Firestar hissed, "Sharptooth! I need you!"
Noise at the entrance to the den caught Firestar's attention and he heard a voice he recognized say, "You called, Firestar?" Firestar answered, "I did. I need you to protect this den from any and all cats. I don't trust the she-cats here. The only she-cats I trust here in Skyclan are Sunnypelt and Frecklewish. Also. You are to not tell anyone in Starclan where I am or where you disappear off to during the night, because I am going to need you to defend this den nightly. I wouldn't ask this of you unless it was important." Sharptooth thought for a second and mewed, "As you wish." Firestar replied, "Thank you. I greatly appreciate it. You won't need to worry about Starclan seeing you when you're around me. My aura should keep you out of sight of the prying eyes of Starclan. Any news about the pelt cleansed of blood?"
Sharptooth responded, "Stripestar's best guess is something Biblical." Firestar's eyes widened at the mention of the Bible that some Twolegs have and he asked, "Which part? Which Verse? Etc. I need to know. When I was a young Twoleg, I read the Bible several times. Hell, I even believed in all of it. That is until I was ten and took a nice long look at the world and realized that if God was real, he would've saved us. Twolegs are his favorite creation after all, made after his own image. I get the curse of Free Will, I do. However, he should've stepped in at this point. Twolegs are destroying themselves and the world as we speak." Sharptooth mewed, "Stripestar is still looking into it as we speak. Get some rest Firestar. I will keep you updated as I receive news. You have my word."
Firestar mewed, "Of course. And again, thank you." Firestar grabbed the claw he ripped out and the flames extinguished themselves immediately. Firestar curled up in his moss bed and said tiredly, "Goodnight you two." Firestar swiftly fell asleep. Sunnypelt curled up right beside Firestar on his moss bed, his presence allowing her to feel safe and calm.
Well. First day in Skyclan was off to a wonderful start eh? Sorry about the religious drop there at the end, but it's my opinion. When I was younger, I did actually read the Bible several times. I even believed in it all. But as I said. Anyhow! Enough of the religious talk. May Starclan watch over you all! HappytheExceed16, logging out!
