"What is with the insolence!? You shouldn't be here but if you wish to defend Fairy Tail than share their demise!" Jose shouted.
"Gray! Elfman! We are going inside that building and taking out that Jupiter Cannon. After that, we'll wreck shop as we buy time for Ur to get here." Natsu said.
"Man!" Elfman shouted.
"We might just pull this off." Gray stated.
Natsu rush forward as he leapt towards the cannon with his two comrades following after him. They walked on the water in their own way. Gray made a bridge of ice that him as well as Elfman used to rush towards the Phantom Lord's building. Natsu used light magic to make a wing and would be able to fly on top of the cannon. Natsu went into the barrel of the cannon before rushing through the weapon to reach the firing chamber. He saw gears that lead to pipes, the pipes would lead to wiring and the wiring would lead into a gigantic ball right in front of Natsu. It was a lacrima sphere.
'This must be where the magical energy is gathered before firing.' Natsu thought.
He took a step inside the room.
"I'm afraid I can't allow you to go any further." A voice stated.
A man jumped down to stand before Natsu. His hand on his sword as he got ready to fight the intruder. Natsu recognized the man as, Totomaru, one of the Element 4. It seemed like there would be a fight on his hands.
Meanwhile.
Lucy, Happy, Erza, and Mirajane were inside the ruined Guild. Erza would be unconscious as she laid on one of the tables that wasn't destroyed. Happy brought a pillow so that Erza didn't have to have her head resting on a hard surface. Though any comforting thought of waiting and seeing would be thrown out the window. The reason? After the group of three went to infiltrate the building. Master Jose sent out a new fresh wave of shades. A battle would rage outside as desperate members of Fairy Tail struggled to hold off the shades. Lucy couldn't watch the fighting anymore as she had to look away.
"Damn it..." Lucy said.
"It's going to be okay, Lucy. Erza just needs rest before going back to normal. Ur is on her way and Natsu seems like he has a plan." Mirajane spoke.
Lucy would just have to put her faith in Natsu, Gray and Elfman.
"In the meantime we should get you out of here." Mirajane said.
Lucy stayed silent before responding.
"No."
"No? Lucy this isn't the time to argue with me. Phantom Lord is already here and they want to take you. We have to get you to our safe house." Mirajane stated.
"They figured out where Levy and her group live, if they figured that out, that means they'll know where the safe house is! If I go there, I'll just be falling into their hands! I'm safer here than over there!" Lucy argued.
Mirajane opened her mouth to protest but she closed it at the realization that Lucy is right.
"No wonder Natsu took you under his wing. He clearly sees that you're more capable than even you realize." Mirajane said.
Lucy blinked in surprise.
"I just thought that Master Jose knew you guys would try to move me away from here. It seems like the better call is for me to stay here because of what he thinks what you guys would do." Lucy admitted.
Back in the cannon firing room.
"Shame that they put you against me because you can't control light." Natsu said.
"Ten minutes until Jupiter Cannon fires!" A announcer spoke over the intercom.
Totomaru began to sweat bullets. Natsu was right, this man had range magic and there is very little he could do to stop said attacks. Therefore, Totomaru charged at Natsu. He just have to buy time for the cannon to fire and they could snuff the rest of the fairies out with their Master. Natsu dodged an attack made for his ribs before swatting a punch away from him with his hand. Natsu stepped to the left to single his body to avoid a attack.
'Trying to fight me at close range to stop me from using any spells? That would work...if I wasn't a brawler.' Natsu thought.
Natsu waited for an opening before stepping in as he used his entire body to enhance his punching power. His fist slammed into Totomaru's gut and the air out of the Phantom Lord Member's lungs left his body. Natsu made the man go airborne before stepping in while taking his fist back. Natsu slammed the palm of his other hand into Totomaru's gut and would form a sphere of light.
"Sphere of the Light Dragon."
Totomaru's eyes doubled in size but he couldn't say anything as Natsu blasted him with the sphere. Totomaru acted like a wrecking ball as his body went into the crystal housing the magical energy. The crystal shattered into large chunks of pieces. Natsu snapped his fingers and Totomaru would be consumed in light as the light exploded outwards and the crystal lacrima would be completely broken from the explosion. The light would finally collapsed back into Totomaru as the man took more damage. The man went through another explosion before being allowed to hit the ground. Totomaru would now be knocked unconscious. Natsu looked around to see the room was now in a mess broken wiring, pipes, gears, and even small pieces of crystal laid all over the ground.
'Time to send this sucker into the river.'
That way there would be no way for Phantom Lord to repair the Jupiter Cannon if it was in the river.
Back outside.
The Guild watch as the Jupiter Cannon fell into the water. As the morale soared for everyone in Fairy Tail.
"Natsu did it!" Wakaba shouted.
"Jupiter has been destroyed!" Max yelled.
Master Jose watched as Fairy Tail seemed to fight harder now that his Jupiter Cannon was in ruins. The man gritted his teeth.
"Master! The Jupiter Cannon has been sent out into the river! There's no way for us to fix it unless we retreat!" A member reported.
Retreat!? Unthinkable! They had Fairy Tail on the ropes! The Fairies were getting a little too excited for getting a small victory!
"Shut up! We'll crush the intruders and we will show them the true might of Phantom Lord!" Jose yelled.
Back inside.
Natsu heard a pair of footsteps coming towards him. He got ready for a fight until he saw it was Gray and Elfman that walked into the destroyed room. Gray let out a whistle.
"You're just like us, you even took the wall down." Gray said.
"That's what I'm talking about! Man!" Elfman yelled.
"Thanks but we still have to fight our way to the top, we have three more element 4 members and finally Master Jose himself. We need to beat all but Jose before Ur arrives otherwise we may not be able to take Master Jose down." Natsu said.
"I see, all of us against Master Jose. That might just work." Gray stated.
"We know what to do, let's get started!" Elfman stated.
The trio made a break for it as they rush onwards to complete their new objective. Yet the guild itself also had developments of their own as Wakaba reported to Mirajane.
"Elfman and Gray were recruited by Natsu to go into the Phantom Lord Building. They destroyed the cannon and are probably planning to take down the remaining elemental 4. Once Ur arrives they are most likely going to support her in taking down Master Jose." Wakaba stated.
Mirajane began to panic at finding out that Elfman was sent into the building with Natsu.
"What!? Elfman!? Why him!?" Mirajane yelled.
Wakaba gave her a ludicrous look.
"What do you mean, why him? Mira he can fight-"
Mirajane cut him off.
"No he can't! Elfman can't fight, you should know this already!"
"I do but he handled himself against Gajeel just fine. Heck, Natsu is with him now. Natsu rescued Gray and Lucy when they lost their fights. He'll be alright Mirajane, he can take careful of himself and people will take care of him." Wakaba said.
Mirajane wanted to believe it, truly but Elfman is her little brother. She should be the one protecting him not having someone else protect him.
'How useless can I get?' Mirajane thought.
Mirajane backed away from the window in defeat. Yet, the three inside the building could not afford the same luxury. The group continued forward with the intent to win this fight. As they rush through the hallway. They could hear rain hitting the windows.
"It's raining?" Gray asked.
Now that Natsu thought about it, Juvia had made it rain when she tried taking Lucy. A woman would be standing in the hallway but it was so far away. They couldn't make her out until they got closer to her. It was revealed to be Juvia of the Element 4. The female glaring right at Natsu.
"I'm here for revenge of my fallen comrade." Juvia stated.
Gray stepped forward as he blocked her way to Natsu.
"I don't care, if you want to get to him, you'll have to get through me." Gray stated.
A vein appeared on Juvia's forehead. They heard the rain hitting the window even harder than before.
"You'll share his fate." She spat.
Gray ground himself.
"Go on ahead guys, I'll deal with her." Gray said.
Juvia wanting to enact her revenge on Natsu unleashed a torrent of water from her hand. Gray quickly intercepted it by making Ice Make Shield. When the water made contact with his shield. Gray would channel his magic to make the water freeze and because he could control ice more effectively. Gray would use the water as a bridge. The ice froze the torrent of water with the ice getting closer to Juvia. The female clicked her tongue in annoyance. She canceled her attack to stop the ice from encroaching on her position. Natsu and Elfman rush past her as they left it to Gray. Juvia naturally tried going after them but she would be stopped by Gray once again. He appeared in her path before firing a ice shard at her. Juvia didn't bother to dodge as she let it hit her. The ice going through her but instead of flesh being torn apart by the shard. It was revealed that her body was made out of water. Gray raised a brow at seeing that his attack was completely harmless.
"Physical attacks can't harm Juvia as her body is made of water." Juvia said.
Gray grew a smirk.
"At least you're gonna make it a challenge." Gray stated.
"At least I'll walk away alive." Juvia countered.
"Like you have the power to kill me."
Juvia's face became downright murderous.
Natsu and Elfman push up the building. They broke down two doors to reveal that they had made it into a foyer.
"It's completely empty." Elfman commented.
A gust of wind would make itself known as they watch it travel to the foot of the stairs that lead up to the next floor. A man would form as the gust of wind gave way to a human being that towered over the pair that arrived into the foyer.
"It's so sad...that the fight will slowly leave your eyes as you helplessly fall before me." Aria stated.
Natsu and Elfman raised a brow.
"What the hell is he on about?" Natsu asked.
"Some nonsense that's for sure." Elfman answered.
"You will die here and that's so tragic." Aria said.
Elfman grew a frown.
"He's really ticking me off, I'll handle him and show him how wrong he is." Elfman told Natsu.
Natsu didn't like the magical power radiating between the two. Elfman seemed to have a disadvantage in any magical confrontation with this man.
"You sure?" Natsu asked.
"Yeah, besides the only one who can defeat the Dragon Slayer they got is you. That way, we can succeed in the mission." Elfman stated.
"I'll come back to help after dealing with Gajeel." Natsu said.
Elfman jerked a thumb at himself with a confident smirk on his face.
"By the time you do that, I'll have already won and be waiting on you." Elfman stated.
Natsu shaked his head at Elfman's statement.
"I'll leave it in your hands." Natsu said.
Natsu rush past Aria as the man let him pass. Now it would be Aria against Elfman.
"I see your objective is to take down the Element 4 and it would be a good one. If you had a Master that was still in play but it's so sad that I personally saw his defeat."
Elfman punched his fist into the palm of his hand as he grew a confident grin.
"Unfortunately for you pal, we have someone that is coming and she is just as strong if not stronger than our Master. We have to clear the way for her." Elfman stated.
It seems that they had vastly underestimated Ur and Natsu's involvement with Fairy Tail. A failure on their part. However, it would not change the outcome because...
"It's so sad that your plan will end in failure."
Elfman was about to ask a question when he was suddenly blasted through the air by Aira's magic. Elfman hit the ground as he got up in confusion.
'What the hell was that?' Elfman thought.
"You will fall before my mighty magic." Aria stated.
Aria thrust his palm forward as Elfman took another hit.
Outside Magnolia.
Ur would intercept Phantom Lord Forces marching on Magnolia. The female already getting a rundown of events from Gray. Ur grew an immediate frown before charging at the group. The Phantom Lord Members saw the female coming but were helpless.
"Ice Make: Tornado!" Ur shouted.
A horde of Phantom Lord Members would be slaughtered from Ur's magic. They were taking up into the air by a torrent of ice before they would freely fall to the ground or into their comrades.
"That's Ur Milkovich!" A Phantom Lord Member yelled.
"What's she doing here!?"
"I'm here to beat all of you for giving my apprentice hell!" Ur shouted.
She unleashed a wave of ice magic at a group of members. As Ur started to decimate the Phantom Lord Members piece by piece. The woman being unstoppable as she cut a path through the forces.
Natsu had the same idea as Ur as he shoved open a new pair of doors that lead into a circular shaped room. However, unlike Ur, there was only one person in the room. It was none other than Gajeel. The man grew a grin as he can smell that familiar smell from Natsu.
"Who would have thought...you're a dragon slayer too." Gajeel spoke.
There was excitement in Gajeel's voice that mirrored his expression. Natsu grew a smirk at seeing how happy Gajeel was and he would decide to put a damper on things.
"It has been a long time since we last saw each other Gajeel, Son of Metalicana." Natsu said.
Gajeel's excitement left his face. He became confused and wonder why Natsu had known his father's name.
"What? Have we meet before? I would have remembered meeting you. Cut the crap." Gajeel stated.
"Wouldn't you like to know why you don't remember meeting me all those years ago?" Natsu asked.
Gajeel was becoming increasingly annoyed.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Gajeel asked.
"Beat me and I'll tell you." Natsu stated.
Gajeel grew a grin again.
"Music to my ears."
