Chapter One-Hundred and Forty-Three

Down in the Core

Up in the silo, everyone was still talking about how Tyroth would be able to help Optimus and the Autobots bring down Unicron when a slight vibration could be felt.

Devina was the first to speak as she felt it having more heightened senses.

"Guys…" she said nervously, "Do you feel that?"

"Feel what?" Jack asked that was until he felt the same shudder as it got stronger.

"That can't be good…" Percy said then he saw that some dust was starting to fall from the walls.

"Uh oh…" Jake muttered then he grabbed Amber as the vibrations got stronger.

"Earthquake!" Fowler shouted as he realised what it was.

"Oh shit!" Raphael yelled as he pulled Monalisa close then looked over for Pandora who was still next to Culpepper's trolley.

"Pandora!" he shouted along with Monalisa "Come here!"

Pandora was alarmed at the feel of the Earthquake as well as hesitant to leave Culpepper yet she was pulled away by Leonardo.

"Take cover!" Ratchet yelled as he leaned over the platform with his arms over those closest to him.

"Everyone! Go to Ratchet!" Leonardo shouted as he pushed, Pandora, Kemeko and Sonia forward first and ushered James and Dahlia to push Culpepper under Ratchet's arms.

Splinter and George hurried over and hid under Ratchet's arms yet given how much space the Medic could cover, everyone had to squeeze tightly.

Sephie encouraged Sonia to climb on her back and she jumped onto Ratchet's chest and used her gecko grip to hold onto him which surprised the medic, but he soon remembered when they first met how she along with Tyroth had demonstrated her abilities.

Sharky and Jack pushed April and Casey to the middle along with Fowler.

Michelangelo held Kate close and bent over so if the ceiling came down he could protect her with his shell.

Donatello did the same as he covered Heather and Sarah.

Leonardo held Kemeko close as well as covered Splinter.

Devina decided to keep out in the open so she could use her ice attacks to shatter any large debris that came her way.

James and Dahlia along with Jun made it to Ratchet's arms yet the Chimpanzee and White wolf weren't quick enough to get under Ratchet's arms with the others before a few rocks from the ceiling started to fall and one small rock struck Dahlia and she fell!

"Dahlia! NO!" Jun yelled.

Devina was stunned but she acted quickly before firing her ice attacks at the falling debris and smashing them to smaller rocks yet she knew they could still cause damage.

"Get under Ratchet!" she shouted as James pushed Culpepper's trolley under the Medic's arms and Jun gathered Dahlia into his arms.

"What's happened exactly?" Sharky asked.

"It would seem Unicron is fully awake!" Ratchet said.

"And he must be pissed off too!" Jake said as he continued to hold Amber.

"No shit…" Raphael said.

"Come on Optimus, Tyroth!" Leonardo prayed as he kept Splinter and Kemeko under him to protect them "Please….Stop him…."

At the same time, Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora held each other tight.

"I love you mum, dad." Pandora whispered.

"We love you too baby." Monalisa sobbed softly.

"My girls, my life…" Raphael murmured as he hugged Pandora and kissed Monalisa's head.

Michelangelo and Kate held each other as the building shook.

"Kate…" Michelangelo whispered "Just keep your eyes on me okay? Just me!"

Kate nodded.

"If this is it…" she said "I'm glad I'm with you…"

"And I with you…" Michelangelo said "You're my world Kate, I love you."

"And I love you." Kate smiled and held her boyfriends cheeks as she rested her forehead against his.

April and Casey cuddled each other close as they whispered sweet nothings to each other.

"I love you babe." Casey whispered.

"I love you too Casey." April murmered softly as she snuggled into his chest.

Jake and Amber also held each other tightly, Jake nuzzled Amber's hair.

"I love you Amber." he muttered "Till the end of time."

"To the stars and back…" Amber whispered "I love you so much."

Jun meanwhile cradled Dahlia in his arms despite the fact she was dazed from the debris falling and her head was bleeding he held her to his chest.

"I got you babe." he said "I got you…you're safe…" he kissed her forehead and started to pray silently.

"Please…please stop this…" he muttered "Come on Big T, come on Optimus!"

Meanwhile deep down under the ground, Loki was still trying to shake his father out of his trance as Unicron had gotten to him.

"Dad!" he shouted "Dad! Snap out of it!"

Tyroth shook his head as he heard Loki's voice and looked over to him.

"Son?" he asked.

"Dad!" Loki shouted "We're close! Don't stop now!"

Tyroth blinked a few times then he remembered where he was.

"You're right!" he said standing up "I can't let the Evil One get to me!"

"Dad?" Loki asked.

"Nothing!" Tyroth said quickly "I mean, I can't let Unicron stop me! Where's your sister?" he demanded then Loki pointed upwards to which Tyroth saw Freya still fighting against the Anti-bodies along with the Autobots.

Tyroth glowered then he looked at Loki.

"Loki!" he said "Stay with the Autobots and your sister!"

Loki stared at his father and he could see the determined look in his eyes.

"What are you going to do dad?" he asked.

"What I can do to save this planet!" Tyroth growled as he clenched his fists then looked back at his son.

"Go and help your sister keep those things at bay! I'm going with Optimus and Megatron!"

Loki was horrified.

"But dad!" he cried "What if you don't make it?"

Tyroth grasped his son's shoulders, the same determined look in his eye.

"Trust me Trickster!" he said "I gotta do this! For you, for your mother, our family, our friends! For the world!"

Loki was reluctant but he trusted his father, given how he had saved the planet many times, not just the times before he and Freya were born, but also when Vulstrun attacked.

"Okay…" he said "I trust you."

"Good boy." Tyroth said "I love you! And your sister." he patted Loki's cheek then stepped back.

"Now go." he said "Help your sister!"

Loki nodded and opened his wings to fly up and help Freya fight off the other Anti-bodies, then gathering his mind and strength, he looked over to see a swarm coming towards the Autobots as Optimus and Megatron ran through the open gate to confront Unicron.

Activating his mana, the dragon ignited his hands then flew up towards the swarm blowing a jet of fire at them and he crashed through them like a large cannon ball.

The Autobots had to duck as fragments of the anti-bodies fell around them like falling magma.

"Whoa!" Arcee exclaimed as Tyroth punched the last Anti-body away from him and it landed in from of her.

"Keep the rest of those creatures at bay!" he shouted then he flew over their heads and after Optimus and Megatron just as the gate closed!

"Tyroth!" Bulkhead yelled.

"Is he insane?" Ironhide shouted.

Meanwhile Freya and Loki also saw their father disappear in through the gate and Freya was horrified.

"No Dad!" she exclaimed and wanted to fly after him but Loki stopped her.

"No Freya!" he said "We have to fight off these creatures!"

As he spoke he saw another anti-body aim for him but he blew a jet of flames at it.

"We got to buy them some time!"

Freya was upset as well as terrified for her father but she knew Loki was right and she nodded.

"Okay." she said "Lets do it!"

She looked back at the antibodies as they continued to fly at her and she clenched her fists.

"Charge!" she shouted as she activated her mana and went for the creatures and Loki followed her lead.

Meanwhile, as soon as they had entered the centre of the Earth via the gate and down a long tunnel, Megatron, Optimus and Tyroth were soon met with a large ball of Purple Energy in the middle of a large open space which could only be identified as the essence and life force of Unicron!

Tyroth blinked as he looked upon it and he soon felt his heart beat with fear as he felt the evil presence of the Chaos Bringer upon him.

"No…." he muttered "No….I won't bow….I won't fall…." he gritted his teeth as he tried to stay focused, yet the memories of when the demons attacked when they had tried to awaken the Evil One before, it was griding at him.

Meanwhile Megatron glared up at the Purple Energy Ball and turned to the Prime who also looked up at the essence of Unicron hovering there before them.

"Optimus! Swiftly!" Megatron ordered urging the Prime forward towards the Ball.

Yet as the Prime got closer, the essence of Unicron seemed to know what he planned to do and some purple energy waves were released towards him striking him as if swatting him like a fly.

At the same time Megatron felt the same energy hit him and he lost focus as he heard Unicron's voice in his head.

"Megatron!" The Grey warlord groaned as he fought hard against the God of Chaos who tried to control him like a puppet.

"Destroy the Prime! I command you! "

Tyroth meanwhile tried to keep his focus as he looked at the energy ball and the memories still ate away at his brain.

"You cannot stop me Dragon!" the voice of Unicron sounded in his head "You might have succeeded once, you and your mutant friends! But not this time! You will not succeed!"

Tyroth gritted his teeth and shook his head.

"No! No!" he growled as he placed his clawed hands on his hand trying to blot out the voice that grided at his brain and soul.

"You cannot fight me! You cannot defeat me!"

Meanwhile Optimus felt like he had been struck hard which he had by the energy and he panted as he tried to regain his strength, yet what he didn't realize was that Megatron, his eyes and insignia on his chest was glowing and smoking purple dark energon and was creeping up behind him with his blade out and ready to strike him down.

Luckily Tyroth saw him and he shouted in defiance as he pushed away the control of Unicron and flew towards Megatron knocking him to the side before he could hurt the Prime.

That alone was able to bring Megatron out of his trance and he gripped his fists and screamed out in defiance.

"Megatron is commanded by no-one!" Megatron bellowed.

Tyroth glowered as he hovered above Megatron then turned to check on Optimus, yet before he could go over, he felt himself get grabbed….

Meanwhile Optimus focused hard as he prayed.

"Matrix of Leadership, I call upon you!" he ordered as his chest began to glow, yet as he stood up finding his strength, he heard a voice behind him.

"You cannot defeat me Disciple of Primus!" Optimus's energon ran cold as he heard the voice of Megatron which now sounded echoed and demonic and he turned to see the warlord glowing in purple flames!

"Not you, nor your Dragon friend!" he held up his hand showing Tyroth in his grip and looking dazed.

"Tyroth!" Optimus shouted in fear.

"I have transcended physical beings by my will alone! All upon this world shall fall into Chaos!"

"Not while I still fuction Unicron!" Optimus growled.

"Nor me Evil One!" Tyroth shouted which alarmed Optimus slightly then Tyroth clenched his fists and as he activated his mana, yet as he did, he started to glow even brighter than before and his eyes blazed as his body ignited in a mix of Mana and flames.

Megatron whilst possessed by Unicron looked over to the Dragon in his grip as with surprising strength he blasted himself free and roared as the berserka took over!

Tyroth roared then flew high above Megatron and Optimus saw his chance to strike.

"The Power of the Matrix will light our darkest hour!" he bellowed as he stood up and crossed his arms.

"NOOOOOO!" Megatron's body possessed by Unicron attempted to stop Optimus by activating the arm cannon, but the Prime opened up his chest and a bright light blasted from it like a laser straight at the ball of purple energy that had become a furious looking face.

Tyroth as he was in his berserka rage saw what was about to happen and he flew inbetween Optimus at the warlord's Arm cannon as it fired and he flew towards the blast in an attempt to stop Optimus from getting hit as the Prime poured the energy of the matrix at Unicron's essence.

As that happened, Megatron was thrown backwards by the force and Tyroth roared as his mana exploded and collided with the energy that surrounded him and Optimus as the last of the energy poured from the Prime's Chest and he collapsed to the ground just as the ball of purple energy that was Unicron shuddered and screamed then it imploded and vanished…..

Whoa! Now was that intense or what?

The Mutopians, Hamato Clan, April, Casey, Fowler and Culpepper are trapped in the silo as an Earthquake hits, meanwhile the Autobots, the Geckolings and Tyroth along with Megatron are still fighting to stop Unicron.

Now Optimus has unleased the power of the Matrix, does this mean all is well again? Well for those of you who've seen the show, you know what's coming!
