Before starting the story, welcome to the next chapter of The Magic Knight. Let's answer some reviews:
CrimsonEngima1: I decided to keep Yasaka with him, but I don't know about Ingvild.
Fairyfiction21: I'll keep Yasaka for him.
Weslyschraepen: I did. In the Twin Dragons, it was more towards adding too many women to Kazuki for no other reason and making things more difficult.
Altair95: Thanks. Loki was defeated because everyone in addition to Gilgamesh arrived to assist them in the battle with the Silver Knight. Rossweisse received one heck of a job behind being hired as an advisor for the Ambrosius Household. It's amazing in both show and damage.
FateFan: Well, I apologize that you feel that way, but also consider that I have a life and things do happen IRL that slows things down a bit. If that's how you feel, then I'm not forcing you to read or anything, all I'm doing is writing stories. This version of Issei isn't even the same as the canon version.
Guest Z: There was a lot of potential that could come about by exploring the supernatural world inside of DxD (Draconic Deus). I can feel the same way, I feel as if ExE (Evie Etoulde) was created to be a threat to Issei who attained the powers of two Dragon Gods or something. I think that Evie Etoulde would do great as a story of its own. There's still a lot that Lancelot has to figure out in himself. It's not copying and pasting if you don't remove one woman from the original character, it sounds more like people just want to remove people from Issei because of personal reasons.
AadenHelan: It's not that I hate or dislike Issei, it's just that he does serve a purpose in the series unless you want him to be erased.
AlexLucifer: Here it is, though it has been years.
Tohka123: Thanks. I'm happy to hear that it'll be well-liked.
Guest: Well, here is the update.
Guest 36: Well, I am sorry to hear about that. Then it's too bad that I brought it back.
shephawk: Yeah, that was a hilarious moment when Chichigami was revealed.
Guest 2: That does sound like something that they would do and Rossweisse would do.
Passing guest: I can see the reason their relationship would be seen like that. I did think that it would fit due to him also being something of a teacher to her, similar to what Merlin was to Morgan Le Fay. Plus, in the same legend, her ancestor loved Sir Lancelot too.
German Science: Well, it's a good thing that it came back.
nexusplayer: I could see the reason that would be the case for canon Issei, but this is a different version that isn't like that version. But, if I could explain that in some way, then I guess that it would be Koneko who started seeing another side of him that was different from is more perverted side from time to time.
The New Order
In a mysterious white space, Lancelot found himself standing around and walking in the vastness, leading to him being curious about the nature of this place.
"Well, last time I was sure I was having another dream. Now, I'm here," Lancelot stated, thinking about the white space and sensing something familiar sense. "But, based on the sensation I'm getting. I'm in Avalon Drakon."
It was a familiar sensation Lancelot got used to, before and after the Loki Incident, he had been diving into Avalon Drakon, similar to Issei, who was diving into Boosted Gear to convince the past possessors of Boosted Gear. Although, he didn't have past possessors with him being the only one. However, that didn't mean he couldn't dive in to unlock any of Avon's abilities. But, there was an issue.
"I don't remember intending on diving in Avalon Drakon. So, why am I here?"
Lancelot asked himself, scratching his head.
"Yo, Avon, you here?"
Lancelot called out, his voice echoing but didn't get a response from Avon.
"Seriously, what am…."
Just as Lancelot made another turn, he turned to find there was something behind him, causing him to leap back on reflex. He looked to find a silent Black Knight behind him, radiating a menacing dark aura as he stood there, with a silent presence.
"Um, hello."
[….]
The Black Knight didn't respond, instead continuing to stand there.
"So, who are you? I'm sure that I cleared out the curse attached to Avon's soul caused by the being he sealed. I know he doesn't have any other wielder aside from me, so you shouldn't ideally be here."
Lancelot again tried getting his attention.
[….]
"Come on, are you just going to give me the silent treatment," Lancelot asked, scratching his head and noticing the Black Knight moving. "Oh, movement."
Shing!
In that instance, darkness manifested and turned into a black longsword, then moved to attack Lancelot swinging his dark sword at him. But, the teen avoided that attack without much issue as it barely scratched him, ducking underneath the attack.
"Okay, but why though?"
Lancelot asked, before sending the Knight back with a kick.
[….]
But, the Black Knight recovered from the attack and prepared to continue fighting against him.
"Alright."
Shing!
Lancelot formed a light sword as the Black Knight rushed at him, with the light and dark swords clashing against one another. Both the darkness and light clashed with each other, he and the Black Knight's swords continued to clash with each other. No matter the movement or tactic, their swords and counters continued to clash with one another as if fighting a mirror.
"Seriously, I'm getting no leverage here."
Lancelot stated, as he continued to face the person in front of him, as the Black Knight's dark sword seemed to radiate a different kind of presence than normal. He didn't utter one word and didn't seem to be outright hostile despite attacking him.
"Alright, I think that's enough."
An unfamiliar voice caught their attention as the two stopped fighting one another.
In that instance, Lancelot looked to find Nimue, who stood in her adult form, resembling a beautiful and buxom young woman who could entice any man. However, although, he could admit that the woman was truer transcendental beautiful, the aura he felt was similar to a mother.
"It's fine, return please."
Nimue placed her hand on the Black Knight's shoulder, who seemed to listen to her and vanish in a burst of mist as dark as its darkness.
"Well, I think I need an explanation for what that was."
Lancelot stated.
"Are you sure about that? I thought you were the type to want to figure things out yourself."
Nimue replied, causing Lancelot's attention to be gained from that.
"You're right, never mind."
"Oh, you're more compliant than Elaine and Galahad, with actual manners. I guess I could thank Gabriel for that instead of either of them."
"I take it your Nimue, the Lady of the Lake then."
"Ah, what a smart one. Well, let's take a seat then."
After that, Nimue created a table and chairs for them to sit at, leading to her taking the first seat and Lancelot too following suit. Both of them took a seat as the famed Lady of the Lake stared at him with a beautiful smile that seemed to calm Lancelot.
"I'm sure you're curious about why you're here despite not intending to be here."
"I'm surprised you could tell that."
"Well, Avon and I share a deeper bond. He and I were born from the will of Avalon, although our existences and purpose are different. But, because of that, I have almost free access to do things like this."
Nimue explained.
"Right, Ophis mentioned you and your ancestor were unique."
"Oh, Ophis mentioned me and my Lancelot. I hope you don't let her being the strongest being in the world scare you off. She isn't bad, she's just lonely. A lot of people wouldn't interact with her unless it was for some kind of ulterior motive. She won't mind sitting down and talking if you talk to her. Oh, and also offer her some snacks to occupy her."
Nimue explained, speaking about Ophis as if she were an old friend, instead of a monster.
"Well, I'll remember that. I am interested in talking to Ophis. Talking to a being born from the Dimensional Gap would be an interesting conversation."
"I can tell," Nimue smiled as she stared at Lancelot with a fond look. "As Ophis said, I am a unique existence that people have sought too. As I said, I and Avon were born in Avalon, but it is a bit different for me. I am the incarnation of Avalon's will, in a sense I am Avalon, but an avatar that can function as a separate entity. I am like a Nymph."
"Oh?"
As someone who mastered Spirit Magic, Lancelot knew Nymphs are considered Goddesses closer to Spirits, bound to places related to nature and elements, like trees.
"But, I am bound to Avalon and cannot leave unless it's through the lakes that have remnants of Avalon's powers, which function as tunnels from there to the Human World."
"So, I guess that's where the whole Lady of the Lake comes from."
"Yes. I am powerful, but there are limits to what I can do alone. Plus, if Avalon is damaged or harmed, I too would suffer from it. And that's why Avon was born as an entity powerful enough to do what I cannot do, taking the form of one of the strongest beings."
"A Dragon."
"Yes, the perfect being to defend the island from all threats and to defend the island with the freedom to leave as he desires. But, it gets kinda lonely on the island, which is why I like it when my Lancelot's descendants visit."
Nimue stated as if hinting that she wanted him to visit Avalon sometimes too.
"I get it, I get it. I'll remember to visit. I often hear that my ancestor's mother was someone else."
"Ah, it is a little complicated. Both of us are his mothers, Elaine of Benoic had trouble birthing an heir and prayed near the lake connected to Avalon. So, I temporarily possessed her body, leading to the birth of our Lancelot, who inherited some power from me despite being Human," Nimue stated, with Lancelot staring at her with a surprised look. "Hey, if you think that's complicated, then wait until you hear about what Merlin did during his era from Christian. Speaking of him, you can visit Avalon without Secace to open the door. That jerk made that so-called 'key' to prove a point when I said no one could get there. But, I guess he was nice enough to give it to anyone but Lancelot."
"Right, I heard you two had a unique relationship."
"Hah, yeah. He was a unique and smart man, but quite the lustful one too. I'm sure you and that cute cousin of yours would find hearing about Merlin's past a surprise. Merlin did a lot to ensure that things turned in the direction, with the birth of our Arthur, an honest and kind boy like our Lancelot. Oh. He was such a cute child and grew into a handsome man. And that girl Ley Fay always loved him but never managed to catch his attention."
Lancelot could see that Nimue was thinking of the times by how she remembered instead of what happened. It was such a beautiful and thoughtful thing, leading to him wondering what she felt when it all started going downhill.
"Well, I do think that it's time to go. What you should take from this is you and Avon share a unique bond as a descendant of my Lancelot, who inherited my power. Him turning into a Sacred Gear, becoming bonded with you, the son of Gabriel seems like fate," Nimue stated, standing up before approaching Lancelot. "Even if it didn't end well for him, my Lancelot will always be my perfect son. For a parent, their child would always be perfect and precious to them. But, there was something I never got the chance to tell him that time."
"…?"
Lancelot looked as Nimue placed her hands on his cheeks, causing him to stare into her unique blue eyes, while she gave him the kind of smile a mother would.
"No matter the power, the potential, the talent, the species. No matter what people expect from you, no matter what you expect from yourself. Please don't believe that you need to be perfect, just do what you can do."
Nimue stated before leaning forward and kissing the top of his head.
Shine!
Just then, Lancelot found himself waking up in his room, staring up at the ceiling of his renovated bedroom. He then leaned up as a long yawn escaped from his mouth, scratching his head at the dream that he had. Although, Lancelot couldn't describe that as a dream.
"…?"
He looked at the current state of his bed with a blank, if not amused look. Currently, sleeping in an offhand state was his fiancee and Queen, Xenovia, whose body was facing up with her knee raised, with her shirt lifted; right beside him was Mariah in a pink nightgown; Jeanne, a blue nightgown; and Irina, a fair distance besides Xenovia with a white nightgown on.
Lancelot could not help himself from smiling at the women who loved him and gathered together to do something of this nature with him. Ever since the summer ended, he has long since decided to accept the love they shared for him and return those feelings. After giving the women lying on the bed a kiss on their cheeks, causing them to smile in their sleep, Lancelot got out of bed without disturbing them.
"Alright, I wonder what Avon would think about last night?"
Lancelot thought.
His direction was for Avon's room, something that Lancelot believed would be appropriate due to the number of rooms the mansion had. Plus, he thought that Avon would appreciate the alone time and free time to do whatever he wanted without being disturbed. Ever since the two took care of the curse plaguing him, Avon has had much more freedom than normal.
Knock! Knock!
Lancelot knocked on Avon's room door, which opened up revealing a unique room that one would expect from a Dragon with different preferences from a Human. It lacked the usual things that a person could see from a room, instead of a bed, it was a hammock made to fit his preferences. But, there was a couch that he kept in the room for guests, a noble act for someone called a King.
[It's surprising to see you here in the morning.]
Avon replied, having a book hover in front of him using a barrier, even turning the pages. In the house, he stayed in his mini-Dragon form for convenience, but he could use a lot more of his dragon powers than before.
"And it's surprising the amount of things you can do with a barrier."
Lancelot replied, heading into the room, with him knowing Avon used a barrier to open the door without him needing to move from his spot.
[I'm sure this has something to do with what happened last night.]
Avon stated, closing the book and setting it down, before leaping off his hammock.
"Oh, you're aware of it."
[I am the avatar of Avalon Drakon. It would be a joke if I wasn't aware of what was happening to me. I felt the presence of 'that' thing and was going to move before Nimue appeared. After that, I felt as if she could handle it.]
"Hm, that Blake Knight wasn't a curse."
[That much is true. The curse of the other beings in my was purged before the Loki Incident and faded since then. So, the presence of that Black Knight has nothing to do with it. I do have my suspicions, but you already told her that you intend on solving that yourself.]
"Yeah, same. But, she did mention that you and I have a natural bond."
[That's a given. Not only are you a descendant of Sir Lancelot, but you're related to the same God was turned me into a Sacred Gear. But, to appear in Avalon Drakon without intending to do so was a surprise I wasn't expecting. But, if that's the cause then mastering the Sacred Gear should be easier and us fighting together more in unison would be a benefit. And the likelihood of a stronger Balance Breaker.]
"I do have someone to use as a reference to mastering Independent Avatar Sacred Gears, well, ironically a lot of them. Plus, also knowing the kind of training that it would require."
Lancelot stated, thinking of the Slash Dog Team, consisting almost of Independent Avatar Sacred Gear users.
[Well, shouldn't you be getting breakfast made?]
Avon stated, knowing the kind of schedule Lancelot has.
"I'm getting to it," Lancelot replied, standing back up. "Though, I think that we need to get to figuring out what to do about the future training. I'm interested in seeing what else the Avalon Dragon can do."
[Hah, if it's like this, then I'm still interested in seeing if I could reach the same level as the Heavenly Dragons. If not surpassing that. Plus, the original ability that I was born with is something that you'll need to be careful of. It's the same thing I used to seal those creatures and beings.]
"Thanks for the heads up. I thought so, as most sealing abilities keep the creatures and beings contained unless the seal is released like with Juggernaut Drive. So, what did you do eat their souls or something?"
Lancelot asked.
[….]
Avon didn't respond and glanced to the side.
"Avon? You didn't eat their souls, did you?"
Lancelot asked again.
[….]
"Oh, wow, that's kinda dark."
[…I know.]
Both Lancelot and Avon agreed to that.
Lancelot went downstairs to find Sona sitting on the couch reading, greeting him, and giving him a good morning. Returning it, he started getting in the kitchen and cooking breakfast but wondered where Yuuma and Serafall were.
"If you're wondering Yuuma-san and Onee-sama. Onee-sama said she had to do something in preparation for the school trip to Kyoto, while Yuuma-san said she needed to return to Grigori."
"Right, that's coming up tomorrow. Plus, Sera-tan is supposed to meet the Kyoto Leader there."
Lancelot replied, thinking of that meeting.
"Also, um, I was wondering something too."
"What?"
Lancelot looked to find Sona standing up with a flustered look as if she was embarrassed to ask.
"I wanted to know if you could teach me how to cook like you."
"Oh, I don't mind. So, what brought this on?"
"Well, Christian-san has been helping me and my peerage with our training. They made some good progress, especially Saji's learning of the different abilities of his new Sacred Gears. Plus, after asking him about what else we could do. He mentioned that you knew a lot about cooking meals that provided a good deal of nutrients for training."
Sona revealed, showing she wanted to learn to cook for her peerage.
"Sure. I don't mind. I combine my cooking and scientific expertise," Lancelot stated, signaling Sona over, holding an apron in her hand. "Come on, I'll start with the basics."
"Thank you."
Sona thanked him as she smiled to approach him, which she took and wrapped around her.
Lancelot was aware that Sona's cooking skills weren't the best, in particular, her desserts with the peerage eating them to not sadden their King. But, cooking looked to be among the things she loved to do and a passion similar to what Gundam and Mechas were for Seekvaira. So, Lancelot would ensure that the people would love whatever she cooked. So, as Lancelot cooked, he taught what he knew to Sona, who received a different perspective of the things a true chef would do.
Lancelot with the assistance of Sona prepared breakfast for the people who remained in the mansion at the time. Soon enough, the young women, including Rossweisse, Ariel, and Percy walked downstairs, dressed and yawning but noticed the breakfast prepared for them.
"Ah, what a delicious-looking breakfast."
Jeanne stated, smiling at the spread.
"I see that Sona-san helped too."
Mariah said.
"Hm, I see that Kaichou is trying to impress Lancelot."
Xenovia suggested, sure that was the case.
"Oh, I want to cook with Lance-kun too."
Irina added, happy at that idea.
"Oh, after moving here. I have been given such delicious meals."
Rossweisse added.
Everyone soon sat down at the table, and thanked the cooks, before beginning to eat the meal in front of them with a look of delight on their faces.
"Hm, I truly feel blessed to have joined such a group."
Rossweisse stated smiling.
"Speaking of, how has it been working with the Ambrosius Family, Rossweisse-san?"
Sona asked.
"Oh! It has been marvelous, Christian and the others have been so nice to me! I have been translating a lot of their grimoire and books originating from the Norse Faction! It's been so nice receiving such compliments, even the regular earnings I receive it better than what I received from working as a Valkyrie."
Everyone could see that Rossweisse was happy about that.
"Well, she seems happier than with Odin."
Percy stated as he chewed on the pancakes.
"Yes, and it's a wonderful thing to see her so happy."
Ariel added, being glad that Rossweisse was happy.
"Though, it's kinda sad imagining the kind of treatment she was receiving from Odin-sama."
Mariah added something a lot of them could agree with.
From the time they remained together, before and after the Loki Incident, the group could see that Rossweisse was a true talent in magic. A natural genius who skipped several grades and qualified as a teacher, taking on that additional position at Kuoh Academy, teaching the students civics. And having a young teacher added to their teachers made Rossweisse more relatable to them.
"If I had someone like Rossweisse-san, I wouldn't want anyone else to take them. If possible, could you talk with the Bishops of my peerage too?"
Sona added, knowing the kind of talents that Rossweisse had caused her to feel flustered, and smiled at all the compliments she was receiving.
"O-Of course, I wouldn't mind. I am a teacher too."
Rossweisse agreed, feeling as if her true purpose was coming out.
"Oh, Lance-kun, are we going to the Chivalric Order?"
Mariah asked.
"Of course, I'm interested in seeing what changes are there."
Lancelot replied.
"Changes?"
Ariel looked confused.
"Oh, the renovations that a friend of mine was doing for the Chivalric Order is completed. So, we'll be returning to see what changes were made to the Order. Plus, my grandma mentioned something about finding some people to replace the missing Paladins, increasing them to twelve counting the Head Paladin."
"That's awesome! I can't wait to see the changes too!"
Jeanne added.
"Hm, as someone from an organization of Monster Hunters. I would want to see what an order of Knights looks like."
Percy stated, interested in seeing what the Chivalric Order looked like.
"Me too."
Ariel raised her hand too, knowing what the Order looked like due to seeing what it looked like from Heaven, but to see it up close would be a different experience, plus the renovations.
"Hm, it'll be interesting."
Rossweisse added.
"Alright, then let's all go."
"I'm sorry. I'm interested, but I can't go. Aside from me believing that the Order is still not as involved with the Three Factions as the Church, I'm also doing something with my peerage too."
Sona replied.
"That's fine. But, you'll be seeing it up close at some point too."
Lancelot stated, wanting to show the organization to Sona.
"I'll be waiting."
Sona replied, smiling at the concerns Lancelot had for her.
During that, the group continued to eat their breakfast, preparing for the morning, Lancelot and his Brave Saints, with the addition of Rossweisse preparing to head to the renovated Chivalric Order.
Having finished, their group got themselves dressed and then headed to the train that would take them to their specific location. It was the same train and location that Lancelot used to arrive in Kuoh from the assigned place meant to go to and from the Chivalric Order. It took some time to travel to the same location, with them stopping at what seemed to be a rural area with several mountains.
"Huh, so this is the place that you're supposed to go to head to the Order."
Percy looked around noting the area looked rather peaceful with fresh air.
"It's not as simple as it looks, come on it's this way. Just be sure to remain near either me, Mariah, or Jeanne."
Lancelot stated, pointing at the location their group was supposed to be heading to.
The closer the group got to the location, the more that some not used to the sensation started noticing that there was some mist building up around them. It started getting denser and denser as time passed, however, neither Lancelot, Mariah, or Jeanne made one complaint about it. All that was mentioned before, those unfamiliar with it remained near them.
During this, the group was soon overcome with the dense mist, which seemed to fade immediately, leading the group of Xenovia, Rossweisse, Percy, Ariel, and Irina to find themselves in a different location. But, standing there looking at the outer walls, Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne looked on in awe.
"Wow, he changed everything based on what I can see."
"Yeah, the outer walls are way different from before."
"Oh, I wonder what our house looks like on the inside."
Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne replied with expectations.
"Wait, wait, wait, no, no, no, no, you guys need to explain what's happening."
Percy stated, waving his hand around and wanting an explanation.
"It is a different situation from how we return to the Church."
Xenovia was surprised by what happened, curious about what the phenomena was.
"This has a magical presence. I can also sense the presence of a lot of spirits surrounding the whole place."
Rossweisse added.
"Oh, what a curious place. Ah, I need to write this down."
Ariel made her notebook manifest with an angel pen and then started writing down what she experienced.
"Alright, I'll explain. You see, the Chivalric Order has always been hidden from the supernatural world due to potential threats. Before, there were barriers that kept it hidden, and certain magic circles used to transverse from here to there. Later in the years, a member of the Ambrosius Family was born with a Longinus that creates and controls a special mist that can redirect attacks, while usable for transporting things to another space. But, its Balance Breaker can convert the mist into a barrier that traps things in a pseudo-space."
Lancelot started off.
"So, as you can guess that member thought to use their Longinus for the benefit of the Chivalric Order, which his ancestor aided in founding. In the end, the Chivalric Order is kept hidden in that pseudo-space and the mist takes people to and from the location through specific locations."
Mariah added.
"There's supposed to be a main barrier device that maintains the space and several others located in places that maintain and regenerate that one. There are so many that it's impossible to find them all."
Jeanne finished surprising them.
"Yeah, but my asshole grandfather managed to break in due to knowing most of the secrets as the former Head of the Ambrosius Family. But, I'm guessing that Nicholas changed things around and is keeping the information more secret so that it doesn't happen again."
Lancelot added as the group started walking forward.
As their King explained before, the outer walls surrounding the Chivalric Order were much bigger than what was in their last memory. Stationed at the main entrance were two Knights in white armor holding spears in their hands, but neither looked or felt Human. Both remained motionless, as their gleaming eyes were trained on them as if to scan them.
"Oh, these are Spirits sealed in armor to function as golems. Smart move, Nicholas."
Lancelot could identify them as spirit-infused armors due to his mastery of Spirit Magic.
[….]
[….]
Noticing their presence, the Knights removed their spears, granting them entrance into the Chivalric Order, which allowed them to enter the organization.
Upon entrance, the familiar presence could be felt by the three who remained there for a good portion of their life and training. On the inside, it was a serious change, as a lot of the buildings were renovated and others got some new additions to them.
"Wow, so this is the Chivalric Order?"
Percy looked around curiously, watching as the place looked interesting to him.
"Ah, it's as amazing in person."
"It is different from the Church."
"Yes, it looks amazing!"
Ariel, Xenovia, and Irina gave their opinions about the location.
"Such interesting structure. Also, the walls outside looked to have been made of some special material that I'm not aware of."
Rossweisse added.
"That's Nicholas for you, an Alchemist true to his bloodline. Plus, his Sacred Gear makes him far more of a better researcher."
Lancelot replied.
"What is his Sacred Gear?"
Jeanne asked.
"It's called Holy Codex, which is pretty much a book that lets the user record and analyze information. But, he took it to a different level. So, it's pretty much a sub-species that can use and access information in a more, well, I would say modern, but it's more futuristic."
Lancelot replied as the group continued walking and taking in the differences from before.
As the group walked, they could see the other residents of the Chivalric Order going about their regular lives, with peaceful expressions at their home being made better than ever. Things ranging from stores, shops, and houses could be seen in their sights, seeming to fit well into their lives.
"Hah, shouldn't we head to the main base to check in? I mean, the three of us are Arch-Knights, remember?"
Jeanne suggested, wanting to explore more.
"Ah, she's right. I almost forgot about that little tidbit."
Mariah added.
"Wasn't you promoted before us," Lancelot teased, causing Mariah to glare at him pouting. "Well, let's head out to the main base to check-in. Let's get you some…."
As Lancelot was preparing to summon some spirits to help them navigate around the Chivalric Order. But, then a familiar group of children ran to them instead.
"Big Bro!"
"Oh, you guys returned!"
"It's nice to see ya!"
He heard the three boys standing there staring at them with a smile, being among the group who visited before.
"Yo, guys, liking the new place?"
"No kidding, this place is awesome! You should see the new orphanage, everyone's rooms are way bigger than before! And we got the new game system that a friend of yours made and it's awesome!"
"Is that so? Well, Mariah, Jeanne, and I need to meet the others. So, would you mind showing my friends here around a bit?"
Lancelot asked.
"Of course, any friend of yours is a friend of ours."
The lead boy replied smiling confidently.
"Awesome!"
Lancelot replied, holding out his fist as the three boys connected fists.
After that, the others started being led around by the three kids, whereas Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne left to meet up with the officials in the Chivalric Order.
Heading there, the three Arch Knights could see the other differences in the location, seeming as if Nicholas had turned it into an actual fortress. They noticed the training institute they trained at was renovated and other places were added, like eating areas.
"Wow, can't believe the place changed this much."
Mariah stated.
"No kidding."
Upon arriving the main base looked better than before too, leading them to walk up the stairs to enter. However, reaching the final step, the group was met with someone waiting for them with a book in his hands. A handsome gray-haired, gray-eyed young man who seemed a year older than them leaned against the wall before closing the book, and returning it to his dimensional storage.
"Well, you three took your time coming here."
The young man stated.
"Well, couldn't help taking in the spots, Noah."
Lancelot replied, staring at the young man now named Noah, his full name being Noah Cromwell.
"As an Arch Knight, this should have been the first place you came to."
Noah stated, turning to them.
"Oh, come on, it's not that bad, Noe-chan."
Jeanne called out.
"I have specifically told you to never call me that," Noah stated, as Jeanne teasingly stuck her tongue out at him. "Hah, just follow me."
"Alright."
Mariah stated.
Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne soon started following behind him, as the four entered the building, noticing that a lot of things remained the same for the sake of tradition. The location led to the same place at the Paladins were meant to hold meetings with their Knights. After entering the building, they could see the same meeting room but different than before, being more lit with the newest Paladins chosen by Elaine sitting there.
Sitting at the head seat was, of course, Elaine the Head Paladin, then Mifune, though the three didn't know him, surprisingly Gorou and Miki Hyoudou, a black-haired man in his twenties with hazel eyes and unkempt long hair; a nervous ginger-haired, hazel-eyed young woman their age; and then Noah continued walking, taking the seat right beside the ginger-haired girl.
"So, what do you think? Not bad, I managed to do a good job in replacing the missing six seats."
Elaine started off smiling, holding out her hand.
"Yeah, you filled in the numbers."
Jeanne replied.
"Though, I don't know the Japanese man. I do know Agravain and his niece, Morgause."
Lancelot stated, waving at the pair, with Agravain casually returning, while Morgause nervously returned it. Both were relatives of the previous Paladin, Gawain, though Agravain is a talented fighter he wasn't as active as an Arch Knight. However, his talents outweighed any complaints he could have received from the Chivalric Order for his inactivity.
Morgause was a Knight, but not to the same level as either Mariah or Jeanne. However, Lancelot could sense the unique change in her meaning she'd inherited the known trait from her grandfather who was killed, who in turn inherited it from the original Gawaine. Agravain and Morgause were also Sacred Gear users.
"I am surprised to find Gorou-san and Miki-san here."
Mariah stated.
"Well, Ise isn't a kid anymore. He is Rias' Pawn, close to the Gremory Clan, and is making great progress when it comes to using Ddraig's powers. And well, us being here would give them some more alone time."
Gorou jokingly stated.
"And then that means the chances of us getting grandkids increases."
Miki added smiling.
"Well, that seems forceful and a little early."
Mifune stated, finding that odd, something that the others, in particular, Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne could also agree with.
"Well, in all honesty, I do think that we could help a lot more around here with the missing Paladins and the rogue Knights. Plus, with what's going on, it wouldn't be fair if we're not doing anything to help."
Gorou admitted.
"So, when Ise and the others were training over the summer, Gorou and I trained to get ourselves back into shape for combat. We also asked Christian to help with our training. Plus, Mifune-san here is quite the teammate, because he our progress improved better than before."
Miki stated, smiling as Mifune seemed surprised to have received such a compliment.
"Well, that was due to your talents and efforts. Surprisingly, you two picked up the things that I taught concerning manipulating auras."
Mifune replied, crossing his arms.
"I know it might be surprising, but Mifune here is quite the important part of the current Paladins. He's among the few rare Humans who learned and mastered Senjutsu, ascending into a Sennin. On top of that Mifune's full name is Mifune Chiba, the descendant of Shusaku Narimasa Chiba one of the last masters to be called a Sword Saint. But, our Paladin here is the current Sword Saint."
At Elaine's sudden reveal, the three looked surprised to realize such a thing person became a Paladin despite him not being related to them. Plus, him not just a master of Senjutsu, but also among those who reached 'that' level of mastery, in not just the Sage Techniques, but the Sword Techniques.
"I received the request from the woman here. But, in this kind of era, Humans require people to defend themselves from the supernatural, especially with people like the Khaos Brigade causing trouble. In all honesty, I do have a lot of things I could teach the Knights here about Aura Manipulation, including the people standing here. But, there is one thing I do want to teach the Paladins and Arch Knights to deal with more difficult opponents."
Mifune explained, leading to them wondering what that entailed.
"That's true. He's already started teaching the remaining Knights, Arch Knights, and the Trainees about honing the Aura Manipulation they learned here, using what he learned from mastering Senjutsu. He might not admit it, but he does love to teach people how to better themselves," Elaine teased, causing Mifune to flinch, albeit stoically. "Plus, I plan on him teaching you guys what he knows once your Kyoto Trip is done. So, look forward to that. I can imagine his teaching would be better than mine."
"Well, yours often involved things on the rougher side, but it has saved us thus far."
Lancelot stated as Elaine's heart swelled a bit with happiness.
"He's right."
"Yeah, but coulda have gone without the punches."
Mariah and Jeanne agreed too.
"Hm, so there is something else that we wanted to talk about. Well, they also wanted to talk to you too."
"They?"
Lancelot looked confused about that.
But, then, a magic technique activated leading to several 3D holographic images appearing around the room that Lancelot recognized. Each of them was a member of the Round Table, the descendants of the original members, in addition to some related to the Pendragon Family. But, the most important was the man in the middle, who was the current Head, Uther Pendragon, the father of Arthur and Ley Fay. A middle-aged man adorned noblemen attire, resembling his son, brimming with elegance.
[Greetings, Lancelot Du Lac, Mariah Belmont, and Jeanne Belmont.]
Uther spoke respectably.
[Greetings Lord Uther Pendragon, sir.]
As per their status and training, the three bowed their heads, with their hands at their heart, the same as the seven of the Paladins as Uther raised his hand.
[We, the Round Table have heard about the current incident with the Evil God, Loki, and would like to give you all the much-needed respect deserving of such a feat. Also, I heard that you met with Arthur and Le Fay.]
Uther stated, staring at Lancelot.
"Yes, those two are doing fine. Arthur is about what you would expect, still as skilled and strong as ever before. And Fay is as quirky and lovable as ever," Lancelot started, with the others among the Round Table seeming to not take that causal comment well before he stared at Uther as they focused on that. "You're children are fine, Lord Pendragon. All of them."
[…I see.] Uther seemed to recognize the purpose of that comment, seeming to be content with that. [Well, due to your achievements, there has been a discussion between the Round Table. And after further discussion, with us and the Paladins here. Mariah and Jeanne, you will receive higher ranks among the Arch Knights. Not just due to the others who abandoned the Order, but also due to your achievements. And with that, your access to the information and items in the Order has been allowed.]
""Thank you. We happily accept this Lord Pendragon.""
Mariah and Jeanne bowed their heads in response to that.
[And for Lancelot, due to your role in fighting against the Evil God in direct combat. It has been agreed that you'll be given the right to become a Paladin and will be taking the proper trail to become recognized as one.]
Uther revealed that the others in the Round Table seemed to dislike that idea, though the surprise of that was found the most in Lancelot, who wasn't expecting such a promotion. He was often held back due to those in the Round Table aside from Uther, who would be the sole member to be fair to him. If not for the limitations then he might have been promoted to Knight later. Plus, he could see that this was caused primarily by Uther, who owed Lancelot a lot for different reasons.
"Thank you. I happily accept the honor, Lord Pendragon."
Lancelot replied, bowing his head too.
"…."
Elaine felt a good deal of pride in this moment.
[Also, I would have liked to thank and meet Nicholas Flamel who renovated the Chivalric Order with the help of his people and golems. But, it seems as if he left without waiting for a thank you.]
"Ah, I'm sorry about that. Nicholas is a severe workaholic, when he finishes one thing, he moves on to another and doesn't wait for thanks. But, I'll get into contact with him and give him your regards."
[Thank you. And with that, I hope for your prospects and success, Knights of the Order.]
Uther said those final words before the holographic image faded.
"Congratulations on your promotion, Lance-kun."
Jeanne stated smiling about that.
"I feel the same way. I wasn't expecting that our King would also become a Paladin soon too."
Mariah added.
"Same here. I wasn't expecting that with the amount of times promotions for me have been held back."
Lancelot stated, scratching his cheek.
"Well, if you're a Paladin that means the restrictions on your magic are gone too."
Mariah stated, knowing that the other members of the Round Table had put severe limits on what Lancelot could do without permission or emergencies.
"Yeah, I can tell that finding out that I'm the son of a Seraph changed their perception."
Lancelot added, knowing that no one among the Round Table was aware of who his mother was. But, the fact that he was Gabriel's son meant that the more hostile members were aware that holding back and continuing to show aggression to a Seraph's child would cause problems.
"Well, you three should be proud of this achievement, fighting against a Norse Evil God, Fenrir, Sköll, Hati, and clones of Midgardsormr. Plus, acknowledgment from the Norse Chief God speaks volumes of your future," there was a show of pride from Elaine directed at them. "So, unless anyone has any other words."
"Actually. I do have something I would like to request," Mifune stated, raising a hand. "I know it was planned that it would be after their trip to Kyoto. I might be able to sense just how strong you three are. I would like to see it for myself."
At that, neither seemed to disagree with that request from Mifune, instead wanting to see what his response to all their progress would be. Plus, for both a Sennin and Sword Saint to make that kind of request, then neither would want to see the reasons behind it. Elaine could see that Mifune had his reasons for wanting to see that before his own eyes, knowing he was as good a teacher as a swordsman.
After that, the meeting was finished, with Mifune, Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne heading to the training area near the main base. It was unused with no one around, the three held practice swords in their hands as Mifune held a practice sword in his hand.
"So, what we're going to do is simple. We won't spar, but you're going to protect yourself and your swords from my sword aura," the Sword Saint explained. "I want you to defend yourself with the technique that Arch Knights all learn."
"Alright."
"Kay~"
"Okay."
Lancelot, Jeanne, and Mariah agreed, shrouding them in a green, gold, and sky-blue aura. What Mifune referred to was the 'aura cloak' that Arch Knights learn and are meant to be subconscious. All Humans release faint bits of aura, an invisible field that represents their life force. But, Knights, in particular, Arch Knights train to maintain a constant aura cloak, an ever-present protective field in their daily lives.
"Wait, what does he mean about 'sword aura'?"
Jeanne asked.
At that moment, Mifune pressed the tip of his practice sword into the ground, placing his hands right on top of the pommel. Just then, the air seemed to shift in front of them, as the three raised their swords in a defensive stance on reflex. In that instance, it felt as if their aura cloaks were struck with numerous slashes and thrusts from invisible swords.
"Ngh!"
"Kuh!"
"S-So, this is what he meant?"
Lancelot, Mariah, and Jeanne fought against the sword aura and pressure Mifune was continuously releasing. Despite releasing such pressure, his sword aura didn't pass the arena, again showing how much he mastered his aura and powers. If Mifune wanted to, he could have cut through their aura and swords without even batting an eye. But, the three stood firm, holding their position with their aura-cloaked practice swords all maintaining the pressure he released.
"Hm," Mifune examined the three in front of him. "All three are deserving of their status as Arch Knights. The two girls might not have an incredible aura amount, but edge out in terms of manipulation, with Mariah being better in terms of precision. Both of them could make great strides with the training I'm planning. And the candidate for Paladin and Elaine's grandson. His aura amount if greater than theirs and his manipulation isn't bad. His magical power is higher than most Magicians I have met and stands out more. His potential alone is the greatest I have seen and can be one of the greatest forces of the Order. But, there is something that is holding him back."
Mifune thought as he sensed the presence coming from their bodies through their souls, getting a better sense of the potential they held. He took into account the light powers the group held too, but wasn't as interested in the powers given to them as angels.
"Alright, that's enough."
[Hah!]
The three breathed out at the pressure he released, as their sword arms faltered.
"I have an idea of the kind of training Mariah and Jeanne will be doing, which would fit what I intended for the Knights and Arch Knights here. It would include your Spirit Sword and Sacred Gear."
"Oh, you mean Tenou?"
Mariah replied, surprised to hear he was aware of it.
"Yes, that sword is far more special than you know. It is the last masterpiece of a famous swordsmith whose name has been recorded in history. It has been passed from Samurai, Ronin, and other Swordmasters over almost a hundred years, with you being close to its hundredth year," Mariah was surprised by those words and turned to Jeanne. "I have also met a lot of Blade Blacksmith users and I can tell it's more honed with you. But, I do have some advice to give."
"Okay, Sir Samurai~"
Jeanne saluted with Mariah rolling her eyes amused.
"Also, there's something I would like to talk to Lancelot about in private. So, could you please leave us?"
"Alright."
"Okay."
Neither had an issue with that, though it was an odd request, but the two agreed nonetheless, more so since they received a nod of agreement from Lancelot. So, the pair returned the practice swords before leaving.
"So, is this some kind of private advice or something that I can do for you?"
Lancelot casually asked.
"I am aware of the entire situation that has been happening with you and the Round Table holding you back a bit longer than a normal Knight of your potential."
"Hah, yeah, they hate my ancestor and someone with the same name as him."
Lancelot glanced to the side, thinking about the looks that he used to get.
"I'll be blunt. I don't doubt that you have the potential to be one of the strongest people in the world, especially as the son of a Seraph. But, I do see one problem that makes me doubt that my training will be effective. And if that is the case, then you won't be able to progress further than the basic lessons I give the Arch Knights."
"Huh," Lancelot was genuinely surprised by that fact but didn't doubt Mifune's swords. But, a thought came to his mind before asking. "And that reason would be?"
"It isn't just you, but also your grandmother and father, neither would be able to succeed in the training I planned for the other Knights either."
"But, why would neither…? Oh," Lancelot didn't need to finish, he was aware of the reason behind it, one thing all three of them had in common. "Madness, huh?"
"Yes, an appropriate name. It forcibly draws out power, but at the cost of spiritual and emotional imbalance which leads to one acting on instinct. And the training I have in mind won't affect someone in such a state of instability. Plus, unlike Elaine and Galahad, you inherited other powers that aren't in alignment with that kind of unstable state. Based on what I know of Elaine and heard of Galahad, both are combatants of the highest sense of the word."
Mifune stated.
"He's not wrong. Both grandma and my dad are powerful fighters driven by pure strength and instinct. I can't use Madness and Akashic Records, which is going to be a serious issue down the line if I fight others. Also, there are times when I do feel as if there's something not right with me when I use Madness. The power I get is good, but I have to maintain constant control of myself."
Lancelot thought, which was something that Mifune could respect and smile at with the young man taking all his advice without rejecting or denying it.
"But, don't fret," Mifune placed a comforting hand on Lancelot's shoulder, showing the kind of smile he would see from a true-blooded teacher. "You haven't reached the point of no return or the point where it'll be hard to break free of that imbalance. Not that it would be impossible otherwise, but the most important thing would be to find what you feel instead of what you know. So, look at yourself and see what kind of person you are, instead of the people that came before you."
"Alright, I'll do that."
Lancelot agreed knowing, that Mifune wouldn't tell someone false information and lead people down the wrong path. Though, he didn't personally know Mifune, the presence the man gave made him believe the advice he would give to others. Plus, his grandmother trusts him and if you couldn't trust Elaine's choice in Paladins, then the Chivalric Order wouldn't have much of a future.
"Good. I have high expectations for you too."
Mifune stated before seeming to vanish from sight without making a single sound or presence.
"Wow. Is that Shukuchi," Lancelot looked impressed, knowing that particular technique is something that Sennin is known for using as a means of traveling around. "Huh, so, it looked as if I do need to do some soul-searching to solve this before I start training with Mifune-san. Well, I can think of that later, first I'll head back and meet the others to celebrate the newest renovations."
After that, Lancelot found Mariah and Jeanne, who were walking to find the others before the entire group found the others exploring the renovated Chivalric Order. To celebrate that, Lancelot thought to cook for the children in the orphanage, with the others also finding themselves building a close relationship with the children there. In seeing the current state of the Chivalric Order, the group could see that it turned into a true fortress that could protect those children's future.
Returning home, Lancelot found himself in his high-tech lab situation next to the library, where most machines all turned on and worked on whatever the teen was working on. The room was contained in a unique barrier which expanded the space much bigger than the room's dimensions. Among the things in the room, there was one that was hidden and resting inside the lab with wires attached to the creation, as the machine worked on calculations. That aside, a green gem that resembled those from Boosted Gear.
"You know, you could have at least waited to receive thanks from the Round Table, at least, Lord Uther."
Lancelot stated as he contacted someone through Magic Circle.
[Uh, I hate that kind of stuff. It is a waste of time anyway, if I stayed each time someone congratulated me for a job well done then I wouldn't be able to move on to the next project. Hey, at least I stayed long enough for the kids to thank me.]
A tired yawn would be heard from the person he was talking to, a handsome black-haired, black-eyed young man three years older than him dressed in a lab coat. He was Nicholas Flamel, the descendant of the famed master of Alchemy and said to have discovered and created the Philosopher's Stone.
"Yeah, those kids liked the new game system you made. I wasn't expecting a virtual reality game, though those kids couldn't stop playing it, leading to their foster mother scolding them a bit."
[Ah, that is such a lame way of referring to it. It's not like the virtual reality headsets that people make nowadays, mine sends you into the game. I'm thinking about making something else for Exorcists for their training, but making it more realistic for the experience.]
"Are you sure that's not going to do something like trap them in the game or SAO them?"
Lancelot joked.
[No, I'm not going to SAO them. I'm testing it to make sure that doesn't happen. Well, with the treaty, it means it won't be long before the Exorcists are unable to hunt Devils or Vampires. So, I'm thinking of making levels like a lot of those to attempt to not let them lose their edge or for some personal healing. Well, I'm also thinking about it being more about sending their spiritual body into the game to make it more realistic for them. Huh, that would be good.]
Nicholas started talking and thinking about the idea of a true virtual reality game.
"Yeah. But, you should probably rest first. You look as if you haven't slept in days. For a guy who has a bunch of golems and colleagues helping him, you look as if you do all the work."
[Well, I did plan on getting some sleep. But, after learning that there's another world aside from ours, it made it impossible for me to sleep. Seriously, another world out there with gods different from ours, one made contact with the Sekiryuutei.]
"Y-Yeah, the Chi-Chichigami," Lancelot found himself wanting to burst out laughing again at that, knowing what Issei felt about making contact with a God of Beasts and overacting to it. "But, in all seriousness, I wasn't expecting it to happen in a life-and-death fight with a God. It does make you wonder the amount of things that are out there, not yet discovered by us. Based on our knowledge, there are parallel universes, ancient civilizations, and even all the lost technology found in the Dimensional Gap. But, another world with a god that made contact with Ise."
[Yeah, I haven't made a dent in the things I could find in the Dimensional Gap. Plus, I share that information with you and the information is steadily being recorded and analyzed in my Sacred Gear. So, did you manage to get a single thing from the Sekiryuutei?]
"Well, after the incident, we talked about what he experienced. I can't believe he thought that I was going to strap him to a table, scan his brain, and do a lot of invasive examinations. I mean that's something you would do without even a second thought. Azazel too," Lancelot stated, with Nicholas not denying that. "The only thing I needed from him was one of the Boosted Gear's gems. Same as when he took in Divine Dividing's gem, it contains information related to the sealed being and owner, on top of its abilities. So, if Ise received the message from the other world, Ddraig reached the same message. If that's the case, then I might be able to contact them if I do the right research."
[Are you sure about that?]
Nicholas curiously asked.
"Well, based on what Ise said, it seemed as if the Chichigami had spirits and fairies working for her. Ironically, his suppressed desire for breasts and using Akeno as the focal point of his technique contacted them. Plus, I'm someone who excels most in Spirits and Fairy magic, while having a strong bond with them."
[I see, as both magics are meant to summon and contact spirits and fairies, then the same thing could be said of those from other worlds. But, it speaks volumes for his desires for breasts.]
"According to belief, the longer someone holds back their desires, the stronger they get. So, if Ise repressed his desires for breasts, then the God of Breasts him."
[Oh my god!] Nicholas had seemed genuinely surprised by the newest voice, with Lancelot moving aside so he could see that Xenovia was there with a book in front of her. [Has she been there this entire time?]
"Yeah. She said staying by the King's side is a Queen's sacred duty. Plus, she started taking her responsibilities more seriously and wanted to focus on studying school, and battle tactics. So, I'm helping her with that."
[Well, that doesn't sound like the Slashing Princess I recall, but that's a change.] At Nicholas' comment, Xenovia pouted at what it meant. [But, her being there actually works well. I wanted to ask your Queen something.]
"What?"
Xenovia asked, standing up and walking behind Lancelot, as Nicholas spoke.
[I wanted to ask that you send Durandal to us.]
"Durandal? Why?"
Xenovia tilted her head to the side and looked surprised by that request.
[Well, the Church, in particular, the Orthodox Church thought of the means of suppressing Durandal's destructive aura after receiving reports. A lot of people also heard that Xenovia has been making some progress, but as the Queen of Gabriel's son, they wanted to do something for her. Plus, it's not as if this is going to limit Durandal's powers, it's more of an addition.]
"Ah, I see."
Lancelot looked interested in what the Church thought of for suppressing Durandal, knowing full well the original and previous owner showed the reason that it was such a famous Holy Sword comparable to Durandal. But, also the other Christian factions are starting to come together more to discover such things together since the treaty, which could be Michael's efforts.
"To suppress Durandal's aura without limiting its power is something that caught my interest. It's a rare once-in-a-lifetime chance to have those alchemists reforge the world," Xenovia then glanced to the side a bit hurt at the same time. "However, it is truly shameful for me to be unable to control it properly despite being the owner of Durandal…. How can I call myself a Queen? Am I better off dead...? Oh, Lord..."
"Ah, don't say that. You're doing a good job as my Queen."
Lancelot placed a hand on top of Xenovia's hand in an attempt to comfort her.
[I hope you two aren't going to flirt in front of me.]
"Well, if you give it a minute or two, then you might."
[Ah, I don't want to see that. I get enough of the people here telling me to find someone and pass down what I know to the next generation. Ah, I could just pass what I know to a student. Well, just send me Durandal through the usual channels. In all honesty, I also want to test out something new that might make some newer weapons in the future. I might take a…nap.]
After leaving, Lancelot immediately thought he had fallen asleep.
"Did he just fall asleep?"
Xenovia asked.
"Well, considering his sleeping schedule that's highly likely."
Lancelot replied.
"So, do you think that I'm a failure with Durandal?"
Xenovia asked, leading to him standing up and wrapping his arms around her waist before speaking.
"Of course not. You're improving all the time in controlling Durandal. If you're comparing yourself to Roland and Vasco Strada, you shouldn't. Both of them didn't start as perfect masters either. It's a process that you're continuing to strive to master as time passes. So, don't be impatient and go at it through what you want instead of comparing yourself to a legend and a giant in the literal and figurative sense."
"…okay."
Xenovia replied, flustered at the comment and contact, which Lancelot found adorable.
If Lancelot thought back to when he had met Xenovia, he wouldn't have thought that something like this would have happened. She became his fiancèe, his Queen, and she is starting to make great strides into becoming a far different person.
"So, what brought on the sudden interest in studying something other than combat?"
Lancelot asked.
"Ah, well. One of the kids at the orphanage asked for help with a problem she was having in classes. I helped her as it was something I knew and she thanked me," Xenovia replied, almost smiling at the thought of managing to help a child. "So, I wanted to study a little more. I also thought of asking Rossweisse to help me too."
"Well, that's a good reason. So, since a Queen must remain by the King's side. It'll then be the King's job to reward the Queen."
"I guess so."
Xenovia replied.
Chu. Both their lips lovingly met, starting to mesh together as their arms wrapped around one another without the faintest hint of letting go.
"Nah."
Xenovia moaned as their tongues pressed against one another in a French kiss, their saliva mixed as the moans could be heard in the quiet lab; there was no one sound other than humming. He reached his hand, going right passed her waist and groping her firm ass. Xenovia was wearing nothing other than a simple white T-shirt and a pair of black shorts making it easier to reach his hands underneath them to grope her soft skin.
"Kuh."
Xenovia moaned as she felt her body being touched and massaged with her fiance's hands never losing her once, continuing to start feeling the deepest sense of pleasure. As his hands moved, her shorts started falling, an occurrence leading to her light purple panties. Xenovia didn't remain static either, with her hand moving down his chest and reaching his shorts. Her hand touched and felt her fiance's hardened member, running her hands and her fingers touched its outline.
As they kept their French kiss, their hands found their way to touching and rubbing each other's sensitive spots, him rubbing her snatch, whereas she was rubbing his hardened member.
""Ngh.""
Both moaned and groaned as their spots were being touched and groped by their respective lover.
Lancelot felt her inner walls tightening around his fingers, as her womanly honey soaked his fingers, and started to drip down her thighs. His thumb found and started rubbing against her clit causing her motions to pause for a bit as her face started to twist from the pleasure as her body tensed up. Lancelot hadn't done it with the others, but he wondered if their bodies would be as tight as Xenovia's who continued on stricter physical training.
"Ahhh."
Xenovia moaned as she climaxed, leading to his hand and fingers becoming coated in her essence. She almost lost strength in her legs as she leaned against Lancelot as heated breaths escaped her mouth.
"Hah, hah, hah."
Xenovia breathed as she looked to notice Lancelot's hand that had been covered in her honey. She grabbed his wrist gently, then started to plop his fingers in his mouth, with her tongue motioning around his fingers, licking up what was stained in his hand surprising him.
"Well, that's a surprise."
Lancelot sounded calm, but witnessing what happened led to him feeling more aroused.
"…I'm cleaning…chu…up…your fingers…nahh," Xenovia replied, her words muffled as she was occupied licking his fingers. "…done," Xenovia started releasing his fingers and wrist as Lancelot got a much bigger hard-on from witnessing such a pure yet seductive act from her, who didn't consider the meaning behind it. "Now, there's this to take care of too."
"Then let's head to the bed in here."
Lancelot suggested pointing at the fairly large bed in the laboratory, which was placed for late-night work.
"Alright."
Xenovia agreed as with each step towards the bed, they removed their clothing until being completely nude upon reaching the bed. The first to sit down was Lancelot, with Xenovia following him as she found herself getting right on top of him with his hardened member poking her stomach. As she felt it brushing against her, Xenovia let out a moan and shuttered as the tip pressed against her entrance.
"Ngh, aah," Xenovia moaned as his dick entered her, feeling her inner walls opening up, as Lancelot felt himself letting a shutter as those same walls tightened around him. "It's all in."
"And you're as tight as usual."
"Nahh."
Xenovia moaned as the faintest movement from Lancelot sparked a reaction from her, his hips moved up, which caused his dick to be pushed himself deeper into her. His hand grabbed her firm ass, leading to him thrusting up while groping her ass. In response, she wrapped her around around his neck, while he continued these actions, continuing to moan as she felt herself opening up to her fiancè. Her body seemed to naturally accept him, while her tight walls caressed him.
"Ngh."
Lancelot started feeling himself coming close to a climax, her insides tightened around and caressed him as if in an attempt to genuinely milk him. In an attempt to limit that as much as possible, he stood up from the bed which led to Xenovia hovering in the air, surprising her. In a brief moment, he removed himself from Xenovia before he thrust into her again.
"Hah?"
Xenovia moaned as she threw her head back in surprise and pleasure, leading to him proceeding to thrust into her with her ass bouncing from the continued motion, with her eyes narrowing and face scrunching in pleasure.
"Lancelot, Lancelot, Lancelot, um…I'm gonna, I'm…ahh."
Xenovia climaxed, unable to control herself, as Lancelot's final thrust into her and her tightening up to the same thing happening to him.
"Kuh!"
Lancelot grunted as he climaxed into Xenovia, causing her mouth to open as her womb was filled to the brim a warm feeling overcame her as she moaned. But, that didn't stop their intimacy as she leaned forward and then pressed her lips against his, starting to kiss again. Holding onto her ass again, he returned to the bed leading to him playing with her on the bed as their naked bodies pressed up against each other.
"Let's say we go for a little longer before getting cleaned up."
"Y-Yes, let's do that," Xenovia moaned as she felt his dick thrust straight into her, continuing to pock her womb with each motion. "…please keep going."
From minutes to an hour, they continued doing several motions and various positions, leading to moans and flesh slapping together being the main thing heard. Lancelot almost couldn't stop himself from thrusting into her, while she couldn't help but accept and desire it. Xenovia felt herself continuing to be filled to the brim, while her body continued to accept it without question.
"Hah, hah, hah."
Lancelot moaned as he lay beside Xenovia, who felt his semen leaking out from her.
"That was amazing."
Xenovia replied, wearing a smile, but somehow maintaining her calm face.
"Yeah."
Lancelot agreed as he found himself leaning up, running a hand through his hair, with Xenovia leaning up too to yawn and stretch her limbs. He then raised his hand and used magic to clean up the mess the two made while in the room and on the bed.
"Well, let's take that bath," Lancelot got off the bed, intending to pick up their clothes, before stopping and holding out his hand. "Also, don't be so worried about measuring up to the expectations someone else placed on you. I'm not perfect either and has some things to work on too. The same could be said about, Mariah, Jeanne, and our friends. So, let's find ourselves together."
"Alright."
Xenovia smiled at those words, grabbing his hand as she got up. Before getting her clothes, she leaned forward and kissed him again. She picked up her closes, giving him another look at her firm ass before putting on her clothes.
"Well, I lucked out in meeting all these girls. I guess all the crap I went through was for this moment."
Lancelot joked and smiled, as he started putting back on his clothes.
A/N: And there goes the next chapter of The Magic Knight, well, I'm sure this is a surprising return of this one. I couldn't forget about this one, the first High School DxD story I did, and the first one I remade. Plus, with what I was doing with the Twin Dragons and Last Amagiri, it wouldn't feel right if this didn't receive attention. And so, the Magic Knight is back! Also, in the last couple of weeks, I have been making some edits through the story, changing some things like Issei's parents' names being the same as their canon counterparts, changing the name of Yumi to Mariah, her sword is named Tenou, Avalon Syntax is named Akashic Records.
This chapter starts with Lancelot in Avalon Drakon, where he meets a silent Black Knight and then the Lady of the Lake, Nimue, who reveals her origins and nature to him. After that, Rosweisse is shown to be becoming far more acquainted with living there and happier with her current job. With the renovations completed, the group went to the Chivalric Order and revealed it is kept in an artificial space created by Dimension Lost, which could be accessed through the mist. There, Lancelot is given the chance to become a Paladin and meets with Mifune who intends to give advanced training, while giving him advice.
At home, Lancelot shows he took Boosted Gear's gem, planning to attempt to make contact with the Other World with the gem as the basis. And in the end, it ended in a Lemon between the King and Queen.
I do still plan on adding Marta Strada, the relative of Vasco Strada into the Brave Saints and has a clearer idea of what her character will be. I was thinking of making her either the "10" or "Joker".
So, until next time later.
