Episode 41: Team Hotarumon 14

One week had past since Hotaru and her teammates taken Special Agent Gibb's training assignment. Hotaru was with her two friends Ashley, Darnel, her pet Ziva, and her Autobot Guardian Windchaser at a makeshift operation base similar to the one Tony Stark had in the abandoned armory back in New York. The base was huge enough to support Windchaser in her robot mode as it came combined with both Autobot and human engineering. Secretly this base of operations was gifted to Hotaru along with her teammates by Director Vance and Agent Gibbs as even more thanks for recovering that device. This would serve Hotaru and her team as their hideout the one true thing she had been missing. Now her team was complete as the base only had a members access code programmed into a computer to allow access inside. There were exceptions of course like NCIS visitors mainly Agent Gibb's crew whom knew of Hotaru's secret identity.
"This is so amazing" Ashley complimented looking around "Make me feel as if we are at the Autobot Base!"
"If I remember Optimus mentioning to me" Windchaser admitted "This base was both an idea from Agent Fowler and Director Vance. Since an Autobot is among Team Hotarumon 14 it didn't feel right to them to leave me in vehicle mode."
"Now we don't have to be jealous of Tony Stark having a huge base" Darnel admitted.
"Only difference is that his is secret, secret" Hotaru pointed out "No one except for Tony and his two friends know of it. Ours is a semi secret cause it wasn't like we were seeking a place to call it our base of operations. Director Vance and Special Agent Gibbs gave us this hidden base."
"Equipped with both Autobot technology such as the Ground Bridge and the highest of our human technology" Darnel admitted.
"Things have been looking up for us" Hotaru admitted thoughtfully "Especially for me cause while I could handle Cipher soldiers, Shadow Pokemon, and even Queen Venomica at times all on my own it was starting to become overwhelming."
"Now" Ziva declares for her mistress "You won't be able to feel that way now that everyone can fight."
"Exactly" Hotaru told her teammates "Which is why I can't fail in the end. With you all at my side I feel as if we can end Cipher for good."
"It'll feel nice to be at a hidden location" Ashley admitted "Rather than wait for an enemy ambush. With the technology here we'd be able to detect where Cipher is and intercept them."
"Should be" Hotaru agreed "Doesn't completely mean we'll be able to scout free. We can't afford to lower out guard down not when Queen Venomica is out there. You should know not to lower your guard around with Queen Venomica out there."
Ashley gave out a sigh she should've known that.
Hotaru secretly had a feeling that something bad was going to happen as she spoke in a commanding tone "Ashley, Darnel, keep your eyes peeled for any emergency sirens. We haven't heard from Cipher or Queen Venomica for a week now. I'm getting a little worried about that."
"You are right to be wary Mistress" Ziva agreed "Cipher isn't one to give up and I can't imagine Queen Venomica isn't ether at least when it comes to what she wants out of you...Your flesh."
Hotaru stared out of the large windows as if to anticipate what move the enemy would make.
*Intro- Latias's voice- Three years ago, my brother Latios and I made our escape from Cipher taking the Rototrix with us. For three years we had avoided being captured and turned into Shadow Pokemon as well as keeping the Rototrix safe from Cipher whom were making plans to use it for their own evil needs. Three years later, Cipher has remerged selling Shadow Pokemon to Earth in a bid to take over the universe. Luckily my brother and I managed to save a girl in need and gave her the Rototrix a device that transforms the wielder into a Pokegirl or Pokeboy of 14 different types of Pokemon. Now she has the difficult task in not defeating Cipher but purifying all of the Shadow Pokemon. Hotaru certainly has a difficult task to do but she's the only chance two worlds have and I have a feeling, Hotarumon 14 is going to stop Cipher's plans once and for all.

Hotaru was right to suspect something for Queen Venomica had returned to Cipher and Erdos with a strange man with horns on his head. Erdos could tell that Queen Venomica had to drag him with her as they made their way back. This made him realize that Queen Venomica would do the same to him if he failed to deliver his promise to her. She tosses Adam forward as Erdos spoke to her "You took your time to come back"
"Sssorry Erdosss" Queen Venomica replied "I had to talk sssome sssinccce into this foolisssh Faunus whom owesss me. Did you attack while I was gone?"
"No" Erdos answered "We held back several attempts to attack Hotarumon 14 just like you ordered while you were away."
"Good" Queen Venomica remarked.
"Now what is your plan?" Erdos asked her.
"Good question" She acknowledged him "This is Adam, he's from the world of Remnant and technically leads a terrorist organization there known as White Fang. I met him many years ago when he needed to summon me for protection from foolisssh humansss."
"In my defense" Adam muttered "It was the best idea I had at the time, summon a Demon to take care all my problems. That was when I was weak and useless."
Queen Venomica shushed him "What is done is done! You know the rulesss a Demon always gets what he or she is promisssed!"
She now addresses the problem "Adam is one of few that can command these monstrous creatures known as Grimm in Remnant. With the emergence of Kamen Rider Enforcer as an ally to Hotarumon 14 we must up the ante ourselvesss!"
"You two do realize that I don't know anything about this Hotarumon 14" Adam pointed out.
"All you have to know is she's the local heroine of these parts" Erdos told him "She's been facing off against the combined might of Cipher and Queen Venomica. She still is able to beat us to this day. Surely you know how that feels like."
Adam did as he muttered dryly "So you have a similar situation to me when dealing with that blasted team of Huntresses, Team RWBY. They are always getting in my way and Cinder's plans."
"Precicccely" Queen Venomica confirmed "Now if it were only Hotarumon 14 I wouldn't have to resort to thisss. However she herself has formed a team. Sssure ssshe's the main heroine of the group but everyone now can fight giving her support. From that Zeraora Ziva of hers, even Ashley will be a pain."
As this was happening a hornet had flown into the room and transformed into a female robot with red eyes. Queen Venomica stood in between the two men as if to protect them shall this robot attack. Queen Venomica could tell by the robot's red eyes she were a Decepticon. Unlike the Autobots Decepticons weren't too keen on getting along well with organics seeing themselves as superior to anything organic. Instead the Decepticon raised her hands "I come under orders from Lord Megatron."
"What ordersss?" Queen Venomica asked.
"He has sent me to aide you knowing that an Autobot is among the ranks of your foe" the Decepticon replied.
"With what after your boss pulled taking that device that we were after too! You think we'd let you come in and help us?"
"How we were supposed to know you weren't on the Autobot's side?!" The Decepticon shot back "Besides while the Autobot Windchaser won't attack your forces due to that pathetic Autobot code, she'll be getting rusty. Plus Megatron wants a bit of revenge for what this Hotarumon 14 did to him!"
Erdos was about to object as did Adam but Queen Venomica acted quickly "Fine. We'll sssee what you can do then. Plusss it'll make good that we have a Decepticon here so that the Autobot can't get Hotarumon 14 and her teammatesss out of danger quiccckly."
"See, you are wise enough to see things similarly! It just so happens that Autobot Windchaser and I have some unfinished business between the two of us!"
"Ah, just like your leader Megatron sees Optimus Prime as his greatest enemy, you see Windchaser as yoursss"
"Indeed I do. I'm Skyburn by the way."
"Good" Queen Venomica replied in a careful tone "Now with you this'll make my plan even better!"
She outlines her plan "First of all we'll send Cipher Soldiers as a warm up for Hotarumon 14. Also just to get her to the scene so we can properly put the scene to our advantage."
"I'm afraid they won't do much good" Erdos reminded her.
This time Adam sushed him "Be quiet you idiotic fool! Whenever Queen Venomica has a plan you listen to her! Besides troops are expendable in this plan."
"Depending on the goals of his cause on a mission, Lord Megatron would do and say the same" Skyburn admitted.
Instead of being upset at Erdos for interrupting her Queen Venomica acknowledged his worry "I know your soldiers will fail. They are weak only to be used as cannon fodder. Like Adam has said there's more to my plan then just send those soldiers of yours into battle. At this point the team must have some secret hideout from their successful mission on recovering that device from the Decepticons."
"If I may add on, that if their hideout is just as secret as the Autobot's base which were Decepticons haven't found yet that then it will be very difficult to drive them out or even discover them too" Skyburn added on indicating it could take a while to discover where the heroine was at.
"You bring up a good point" Queen Venomica admitted "Which is why we need to draw them out. Similar to how any attack your boss Megatron does attracts the other Autobots if you are catching my drift."
The Decepticon slowly nodded in agreement while also doing so thoughtfully. Queen Venomica explained the next part of her plan "While Hotarumon 14 is drawn out by the attack of Cipher, our true attack will begin on them when they least expect it. Erdos you will send a very strong Shadow Pokemon, I don't want you to do a randomizer one. Last few times it failed us and that is how you lost that Zeroara! She was the major start of this and it's time we think drastically. However we won't be stopping at sending a Shadow Pokemon eh...Adam?"
Adam knew this was why she went looking for him. This was his part and why she wanted to use the Grimm "Oh now I'm seeing where you are getting at. The Shadow Pokemon won't be the only thing we send...A Grimm will also be sent to deal with her teammates."
"Exactly" Queen Venomica replied "With the Decepticon Skyburn I believe she can deliver on her part too."
Skyburn indeed knew her part "I along with a party of Decepticons will battle their Autobot friend."
"Exactly" Queen Venomica said "Erdos our enemy maybe Hotarumon 14 but she hasss a team with her so we have to up the ante, by this plan. We cover all our boundariesss."
"I have always wondered how this world a world that has never seen Grimm before handles them" Adam admitted "I'll be sure to lend an incredible tough one."
"You had better" Queen Venomica told him "Caussse that Kamen Rider possibly could handle a weaker one all by himssself."
"If he could handle you one-on-one" Erdos admitted "Then he'd probably be able to handle one of these weaker Grimm with ease too. I second Queen Venomica's order on that one we can't afford to underestimate our foes. My father will not tolerate failures from underestimating Hotarumon 14 any longer."
"Which isss why you mussst pay attention to my plansss" Queen Venomica insisted "With mine there will be no sssuccch things as underessstimating the enemy. Now quickly let's get the plan underway!"
"Yes ma'am!"
While both Adam and Erdos scattered to go about with their part of the plan Skyburn stayed behind with the Succubus Naga Queen. Once both of the men were out of hearing range the Succubus Naga Queen addressed the Decepticon "Before the real attack, is it possible thy could watch from afar? You'll need to be silent though, can't let them know the full attack is sssoon cccoming!"
Skyburn replied "I can spy on them in my hornet form this time. Although just between you and me, Soundwave would be a better spy since he can do it from our warship. I'd just have to give him info on the target so he can know whom to look for."
"Possibly best to do that in the future" Queen Venomica admitted "Now it's time to get ready for the fight ahead."
Skyburn quickly transformed into her metal hornet form flying out to do her part of the mission. As she was doing so she was filling in Lord Megatron on the mission. Typically the Decepticon leader wasn't about making deals with organics then again most organics he knew were on the Autobot's side. He never seen humans or other organics or even heard of them taking his side of things. He listens to Skyburn's explanation on the mission and agrees to let her go on it. Cipher and Queen Venominca's enemy was his enemy for all he was concerned now especially after that sneaky operation to reclaim the device completely devastated his radar system then somehow was able to overwhelm the Predacon Shockwave had managed to clone for him to use against the Autobots. In a way the Decepticon leader wanted just as much as revenge as this heroine's normal enemies would. If it lead to this Hotarumon 14 being defeated or killed Megatron would allow it to happen as he addressed Skyburn "Go along with the mission you were assigned to. Even if this fails somehow you stay with them till the job is done and that girl that humiliated me is killed ether by your hands or your allies. I want Optimus Prime to realize that there's a penalty for allowing a little earthling organic to outsmart me."
"As you command Lord Megatron" Skyburn acknowledged "Just inform Soundwave that our allies may need his expert observance on a little spying detail soon after the results of this mission."
"I assure you Soundwave will assist on that secretly" Megatron told her "Now proceed with the mission that Queen Venomica assigned you."
"Will do Lord Megatron" Skyburn told him cutting off transmission immediately.
Now Skyburn remained silent while watching for this heroine and her team to show up.
In their secret hideout Ashley, Darnel, and Hotaru were doing homework. Every now and then Hotaru's gaze would stop from doing this to look upward. She still couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong. Luckily Windchaser had taken some of Ratchet's lessons on monitoring for an attack mostly Decepticons but she also could do this for Cipher too. Ziva was acting like any cat resting on a bed made for cats. Ashley noticed Hotaru's expression "Hotaru…"
Hotaru turned her attention to her girlfriend "Sorry Ashley, it's just that I can't shake the feeling that Cipher is up to something and we have to be ready for whatever it is they are up to. Deep down I feel as if something terrible is about to unfold."
"It is strange that we haven't seen any activity in one week" Darnel admitted agreeing with Hotaru on that.
Ziva may have been trying to rest but the Zeroara's ears shifted as she listened to the tones of her mistress and Darnel "You have a point there Mistress and Darnel. I also doubt Cipher has given up on their plans. So they have to be up to something."
Ashley turned to Windchaser "Windchaser...Please tell me that they can be wrong."
"Love to" the Autobot replied "But on personal knowledge of what Megatron or any Decepticon can do when you least expect it will surprise you so I won't lie about this subject."
"But you haven't detected any trace of them attacking!"
"Doesn't mean they aren't planning for it!" the Autobot shot back "We've gotta be on our toes and not let the enemy think that we have our guard lowered."
"Alright you two settle down" Hotaru told the two feeling as if she were Special Agent Gibbs when having to resolve a dispute between Tony or any other one of his crew "We can't be fighting against each other now."
"She's right on that" Darnel admitted.
Ashley gave out a sigh apologizing "Sorry Windchaser."
"Hey, I take no offense to what you were trying to ask for" Windchaser replied to her "It's just that based on what I and the other Autobots experience against any of the Decepticons it's best to always expect something. Even when nothing appears to be out of the ordinary."
Ashley remembered her teacher Evangeline even scolding her trying to relieve the same message Windchaser and her friends were feeling as if something was gonna happen.
Suddenly alarms sounded in the hideout and Windchaser asks Ashley "See? Something has already happened!"
She studies the on screen map of where the disturbance was located. Then she presses a button to show what was causing it.
"Cipher soldiers?" Hotaru asked herself seeing the image.
"Yeah, now we can confirm something is up" Darnel admitted "What that is we don't know exactly but at the same time we have to respond."
Hotaru agreed "Alright team! Let's get going! Keep your guard up though. We can't get caught off guard!"
After downloading the location, Windchaser transforms into her Tesla Model X vehicle form then once her passengers entered her the Autobot took off. When Windchaser was close to the location Hotaru and Darnel took the time to transform. Hotaru reached for her Rototrix turned it to a Pokemon she wanted then slapped it down and a bright flash of light engulfed her. After the bright flash of white light appeared, Hotaru felt herself growing a bit fat, while gaining purple skin which was nearly all blob like. She also gained black diamonds were spread around her stomach and it became a paturn spreading evenly around that area of the body. Her eyes became pink and she grew yellow whiskers but hers were shorter and when her transformation ended Hotaru was "Swalot!"
Darnel activated his transformation item "Emergency...Henshin!"
Windchaser arrived on the scene and team Hotarumon 14 came out of the Autobot facing then began fighting against Cipher soldiers. Watching this was Skyburn whom secretly informed Queen Venomica "Queen Venomica...They've taken the bait!"
"Excccellent!" was Queen Venomica's reply "Give the order to your Decepticon soldiers to start their attack sssurround them bessst do it to."
"Will do!" Skyburn said pressing a button on her wrist that alerted the Decepticons on board the Nemisis to start coming out towards the location she was at. Then she too took off slowly.
Queen Venomica turned to Adam "Have you brought one of those Grimm?"
"Yes, Queen Venomica" he told her smartly "It's one of those tough Grimm as you ordered."
Queen Venomica nodded at this as she asks Erdos "Erdosss...Is the Ssshadow Pokemon expertly ssselected?"
"It is" Erdos replied immediately "It is a Magnezone."
"Good" Queen Venomica replied "Send it and the Grimm together. I shall be taking my leave."
"On it!" Adam and Erdos told her.
Back at the scene of the battle, Hotaru as Swalot suddenly remembered why she had a love/hate relationship with this Pokemon. Whenever she transformed into this form she always seemed to be a hideous blob of fat hating that feeling however at the same time that feeling was overcome when she could just inhale off of Cipher soldier's bullets without injury. She'd retaliate soon afterwards. Sometimes she'd get a hit in maybe a punch or a kick. Other times she'd literally have to use the combo of Stockpile then Spit Out to do any sort of damage as Cipher soldiers weren't going to let her land a blow on them in close combat so easily not when she was a bit tad slow. Luckily for her Ashley, Kamen Rider Enforcer, and Ziva were easily making grounds for that. Just as they were about to wrap things up by taking down the last Cipher soldier that was when Queen Venomica's plan goes into effect. Windchaser heard the sound of a jet engines and transformed into her robot form just in time to see Decepticon soldiers surrounding them. Then Hotaru's Rototrix warned her of a Shadow Pokemon approaching just as they heard people screaming form seeing the Grimm.
"Okay…" Kamen Rider Enforcer stated looking at the Grimm "We know of the Decepticons, the Shadow Pokemon but does anyone know whom this other monster is...Ziva?"
Ziva just shrugged this was the first time she ever encountered whatever that weird monster was giving Hotaru the knowledge that it wasn't a Pokemon so like her friend just asked...What was it?

Just then Windchaser caught sight of a small mechanical hornet that soon transformed into her robot form. The female Autobot's eyes narrow as she made out her biggest enemy in the Decepticon ranks. Skyburn took notice that this plan of Queen Venomica just was going to work. She looks at the group as Queen Venomica appeared "Sssuprise Hotarumon 14! I'm back!"
"With something new" Hotaru said looking at the Grimm.
Queen Venomica smirks "Oh yesss, now you'll experience defeat!"
"Way to put it Queen Venomica!" Skyburn acknowledged she now eyes Windchaser "Now you can't get them away to safety Autobot!"
"She's not afraid to fight you you know!" Windchaser told her "And I'm not afraid to fight you ether Skyburn!"
"She will be when we defeat her and Queen Venomica gets what she came for!"
Hotaru faced the Decepticons, Queen Venomica, the Shadow Pokemon, and whatever that weird looking monster was "I may never be seen as prey to avoid from any of you villains but I don't fear any of you any more! I don't know what that new monster you sent is known as but at the same time we won't allow it to go on a rampage to find out what it does ether! Windchaser handle the Decepticons!"
"Will gladly do!" Windchaser replied arming herself with her blasters.
Hotaru turns to Kamen Rider Enforcer and Ashley "You two deal with whatever that monster is!"
"Right away!" the two acknowledged her.
Hotaru turned to Ziva "As for you Ziva...You have my back against Queen Venomica while I deal with whatever that Shadow Pokemon is."
Ziva gave her a thumbs up as she'd back up her mistress when facing off against Queen Venomica but she warns her mistress "Alright, but you are in a big time battle mistress! That's a Magnezone! The evolved form of Magneton when exposed to ultra high magnetic fields! It's an Electric/Steel type! Which sadly Poison type moves have no effect against!"
"Then I'll have to be creative in this approach" Hotaru admitted to her pet "At the same time I don't have to worry about Queen Venomica's venom!"
"True there" Ziva admitted if there were one thing about poison types they couldn't be poisoned or have venom roll threw their systems.
"THINK YOU ARE CLEVER TO AVOID MY BITE HOTARUMON 14?!" Queen Venomica asked enraged.
"Oh I wouldn't call it that I was clever to avoid your venomous bite for once, but let's see how things play out!" Hotaru told her foe.
Queen Venomica ordered the attack to begin. Decepticons took aim mostly at Windchaser but there were others that took aim at the whole team then began open firing on their targets rapidly. Windchaser began weaving or ducking around cover then fired back at the Decepticons. The regular soldiers she easily outmatched shooting down within one blast each. Problem for Windchaser was Skyburn of course! The Decepticon didn't just have her handheld blasters but also weapons you barely could see. Armor piercing needles that she could fire at out of her wrists as well. Whenever the two had fought, Windchaser almost always took these needles often to the shoulders. Right now she was doing well in avoiding these near invisible objects but that was only because of her tendency to ether have good cover or in some cases...Another Decepticon took it instead by mere accident.
"Stupid fools!" Skyburn shouts as she had taken down her sixth ally by accident "Can't you see I'm trying to strike the Autobot? Don't get in the way!"
As the Decepticon numbers were dropping in the chaos, Windchaser took a new form of attack in their confusion trying to appear behind her rival. This nearly worked out perfectly for her as she came at Skyburn's back. At the last second though the female Decepticon turned then just as Windchaser landed a punch to her face which connected but just as it connected Windchaser felt a razor sharp needle right in her chest. Both attacks to each robot fighter caused them to back away. Skyburn's face was seeing stars as Windchaser winces at the needle wedged painfully in her chest. It burnt really bad as Windchaser always knew these would.
"Nice trick" Skyburn growls "Won't save you in the end Autobot!"
"You just had to get that cheep needle in Decepticon!" Windchaser shot back.
Despite the injury Windchaser knew she had to deal with the Decepticons and Skyburn. The fight was just beginning. Kamen Rider Enforcer and Ashley square off against the Grimm. It pounces but both of it's foes sidestepped. Kamen Rider Enforcer gave it a neat spin kick to it's face dazing it while Ashley blasted it back with several magic arrows of light. Despite this the Grimm held strong roaring like a lion.
"Okay" Ashley muttered to her Kamen Rider ally "Now I'm beginning to realize what Hotaru feels when she goes up against Shadow Pokemon...Those did nothing other than making it back away!"
Kamen Rider Enforcer saw it as a challenge "Don't get distracted in that! We've gotta defeat it so that Hotaru can concentrate on the Shadow Pokemon! Come on!"
"Right!"
The two prepared to fight off against the Grimm.
Hotaru and Ziva were working together to overcome the other two enemies. Queen Venomica attempted to strike Hotaru but her pet Zeroara intercepted the fangs of the Naga Succubus Queen then gave her a nasty Fire Punch to the face. Queen Venomica hisses as she is flung backwards by the flaming punch. Ziva looked at Queen Venomica flexing her claws preparing to face off against her. Last time when the two had fought, Ziva nearly got herself killed and eaten. She wasn't going to make that same mistake. She'd face off against Queen Venomica for her mistress so that Hotaru could handle the Shadow Pokemon.
"You are becoming a handful to deal with" Queen Venomica hissed at her "You will die one day defending your mistress."
This didn't seem to effect Ziva the way Queen Venomica had been hoping for. Queen Venomica was expecting the Zeroara to lunge at her leaving herself wide open for her venomous fangs to puncture her, instead the Zeroara held her ground patiently "If my death comes as a result of me defending my Mistress from those that want to do her harm like you then so be it. However if my mistress and I die together then we'll die fighting for what's right. Something you or any of your so called allies would want to do!"
"We ssshall sssee!"
The Succubus Naga Queen and Ziva prepare for their second one-on-one battle.
Erdos had ordered that the Shadow Magnezone to unleash a Thunderbolt attack. Hotaru opened her mouth and inhaled the electric type move without injury even seemingly swallowing the attack with no injury. Seeing this inside this angered Erdos as he slammed his fist against the screen. Adam knew his pain all too well heroines will always find ways to humiliate you. Still Erdos realized that Hotaru couldn't do much to the Magnezone not as a poison type! He ordered the Shadow Pokemon to continue using Thunderbolt. Hotaru kept on inhaling the electric attack knowing this wasn't getting anywhere playing defensively. Knowing her Poison Type moves won't have any effect on a Steel type Hotaru came at the Magnezone with her own Fire Punch attack! She lands the Fire Punch to the Shadow Pokemon's face but in her attempt to do so it strikes her in the face with Flash Cannon! With both attacks colliding the two are forced backwards with Hotaru barely even feeling the blow even though she was in pain slightly. This already taught her so many things such as this Shadow Pokemon preferred attacks from long range! If she were the close in the gap the battle would be in her favor. Problem was...How to do just that? Swalot wasn't the fastest Pokemon she had but then again after she studied the Shadow Pokemon she realized that neither was it! She took the opportunity to taunt Erdos "What's the matter Erdos?! Was that all you got?"
Erdos in his base of operations shouts enraged at it taking the bait "YOU WANT MY BEST HOTARUMON 14! FINE YOU GET MY BEST! SHADOW-" Adam slapped him "What was that for?!"
"You are a bigger fool then I thought. That Shadow Move from what your brother informs you is one that causes the user to faint afterwards! If it faints prematurely Queen Venomica's gonna be pissed and so will your father."
"She-"
"I know" Adam told him "I've fell for taunts myself it's hard being a villain when you foes are so good at taunting you. That's what they want! They want you to make that mistake!"
"Then-"
"Don't fall for their plan" Adam said "Besides...While I wasn't there to see the previous battle when this Hotarumon 14 was a Flygon against your Shadow Salamance, she survived that Shadow attack did she not?"
"She...Did"
"Then even you know not to use such a risky move early on" Adam lectured him "Use it...As in an ace in the whole when your opponent is about to win. That way when she's injured she'll least expect it then...Use that attack and take the opportunity to take not only her out...But injure all her allies in one full swoop if you are catching my drift."
Erdos thought about it, the way Adam spoke made logical sense. To use Shadow Implusion early on while his foe had a strong chance of surviving it was a foolish mistake. A mistake that Queen Venomica and his irritated father wouldn't tolerate. He sighs as he asks Adam "How'd you figure that plan of attack?"
Adam winked at him "I tend to be like you, falling for enemy taunts, leaving myself open, but over time you learn from those mistakes if possible, no you have to cause you make one mistake too many it may cost you everything you hold dear. Besides unlike you I'm a leader of the White Fang movement in Remnant a terrorist cell bent on creating chaos and break down. You don't get to be a leader if you don't plan things out after all."
Erdos thought on what Adam said to him. Was it possible that in all those failures he let himself be played? Was it because he never learned from mistakes? Erdos had to remember this as he tried to figure out what move to do against Hotaru. Shadow Implusion was off limits at the moment, perhaps he'd try out Adam's plan.
Adam flexed his hands seeing Erdos taking his words into his brain "Besides...I have a feeling that if this plan somehow fails she may decide to let me have a try at them. I've been dying to have my shot at a different team other than Team RWBY."
"By all means if you believe you can take Hotarumon 14 out then go for it" Erdos muttered to him "Just don't be shocked if she defeats whatever plan you have in mind."
Adam turned towards the monitor reminding him "We'll see if that ever happens...For now though...Don't you have to command that thing? That's the one good thing about Grimm, they don't need orders on what to do when attacking. They'll always attack without needing orders too."
"Oh yeah" Erdos admitted.
"Tell you what" Adam told him "If you can command this Shadow Pokemon a bit longer, I'll tell you from viewing this monitors when to use that move."
Erdos nodded focusing.
Back in the battle Hotaru was taking the hesitation to her advantage. She attempted to use Fire Punch one after the other. Each time Shadow Magnezone managed to somehow avoid the fire punches...Well most of them as WHAM! A second Fire Punch finally connected to the Magnezone's face. It screeches as it is flown backwards. Hotaru grunts seeing that it took the attack relatively well. She mutters to Ziva whom was amazingly able to handle Queen Venomica on her own "Why does it feel as if my Fire Punches while Super-Effective aren't doing anything?!"
"Magnezone maybe slow compared to most Electric Types due to their Steel Typing but, that Steel typing makes them very defensive. They can take a pounding from most physical moves." The Zeroara answered "However...Try using a Ground type move! Electric and Steel types are double weak to those!"
Hotaru face palmed this was still going to take some time mastering type match ups. Sure she gotten better at those but she often overlooked one crucial thing about Pokemon...Some Duel Types are weak to the same type of move. Luckily she had a Ground type move...Earthquake. She looks at Ziva "Ziva...On the count of three...Jump!"
Ziva shook her head yes flexing her claws as she knew where Hotaru was getting at; she was going to use Earthquake. The strongest Ground type move well technically Fissure was the strongest as it was a one hit KO move but that missed over nearly half the time so because of the high miss rate many Trainers crowned Earthquake as the strongest Ground type move a normal Pokemon could learn. Hotaru counts down first "One…"
Ziva began digging her soles into the ground preparing to leap. Queen Venomica came straight towards her as the Zeroara spoke the next line "Two…"
Hotaru then shouts "THREE!"
At this Hotaru unleashed a massive Earthquake. Ziva leaps towards Queen Venomica's jaws which were opened for a deadly bite. The Zeroara did a neat front flip avoiding the fangs entirely then just as the tremor hit Queen Venomica rocking her a bit Ziva gave her opponent a wicked normal Slash to the eyes. Then while Queen Venomica was realing in pain from the sudden attack on her eyes the Zeroara landed on her then unleashed a brutal Discharge onto her! Queen Venomica hisses in pain but her demonic rage built up then caused a massive explosion that engulfed and flung Ziva off of her. The Succubus Naga Queen hisses recovering from the shock as she came at her opponent "You'll pay for that!"
At the same time the tremor was sent at Shadow Magnezone but Hotaru's gasps as it appeared the Shadow Pokemon received no damage "Impossible! That hit but didn't do anything!"
As she was just standing there dumbfounded Erdos had ordered Shadow Magnezone to unleash a Thunderbolt attack at her. Hotaru attempted to open her mouth to inhale the attack but due to her confused state was too slow taking the electric attack with ease. Sure it hurt her but she tanked it pretty well. She groans wondering how this was happening as she eyed the Shadow Pokemon whom seemed to be leviating somehow. Her Rototrix knew the answer right away explaining to her "It must've used Magnet Rise! That move makes the user float making it immune to ground type attacks for at least four turns!"
Hotaru gave an annoyed sigh that this battle wouldn't be so easy as she communicated with it "Great! So I'm stuck with using Fire Punch on it?!"
"Until the effects of Magnet Rise wears off yes!"
Although this annoyed her this confirmed three of Shadow Magnezone's move sets, Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, Magnet Rise! There was one more move, one that Hotaru hadn't experienced yet. She knew it was gonna involve a Shadow type of move. She opens her mouth just in time to inhale both a Flash Cannon and a Thunderbolt attacks without injury this time instead of just inhaling it she decided to use Stockpile to start piling that effect up. She had to think and fast, how was she gonna be able to spend three more turns. Then again she'd need some way of preventing Erdos from using the technique again. The biggest advantage she had was the fact she had access to all of her chosen Pokemon's moves while Erdos had only access to four moves at a time! Thankfully thanks to Swalot being able to inhale any attack her opponent sent at her due to being a special attacker she could have that much time to figure out a counter attack.
Ashley and Kamen Rider Enforcer were at least having improvements on their end of things. Sure this Grimm was huge and tanky, yet even it couldn't fight against it's two opponents swiftly enough. Every time it tried to attack the two like Huntsmen and Huntresses of it's world managed to avoid the attack. Then they'd attack back. It received more damage to itself once they landed the blows to it thanks to it missing. Finally though with one swipe it managed to slash at Ashley so quickly that even though she had her magic barrier up the claw swipe shattered it like paper and it almost scored a beheading! Instead even though the slash penetrated her magic barrier Ashley had the mindset to leap backwards that was what saved her from losing her head literally! Instead the claws ranked her across her chest sending her flying head over toe groaning in pain. Seeing her down the Grimm gets ready to finish the girl off and pounces only to be intercepted by Kamen Rider Enforcer whom caught the beast's claws just as he had done to Queen Venomica's fangs then tossed it aside with ease. He briefly turned his attention to Ashley "You okay Ashley?"
"Yeah" The blond muttered wincing "Wasn't encountering it being able to penetrate my barrier so easily. Now I know how Hotaru felt taking on Shadow Pokemon daily without our help...Those claws hurt!"
"Yeah well she's had worse" the Kamen Rider pointed out "Now would you please stop lying on the ground? We can't exactly afford to lie down when we get injured like that!"
Ashley groaned as he was right, compared to what she just took it was more likely Hotaru tanked loads of injuries that would've killed a normal person for sure and she kept on fighting the enemy. Besides if she just lie on the ground whimpering then her teacher's lessons were mute and she'd never completely be able to help Hotaru in any meaningful way. Quickly she uses her magic to heal her injury a bit then leaps to her feet "You're right Kamen Rider Enforcer! She's taken worse injuries then I did and continued fighting. As a team we need to reflect that image of how tough we are!"
"That a girl!" the Kamen Rider told her "Besides we all will get injured it's how you respond to it!"
The Grimm regrouped and tried to attack again but Kamen Rider Enforcer caught it once again then tossed it aside. He realized that this was getting him no where as the Grimm kept on coming at them "We may have to use lethal force Ashley!"
The blond was in full agreement "Looks like it! After all I'm certain it's not a Shadow Pokemon cause Hotaru's Rototrix or even Ziva didn't exactly react to this thing being a Shadow Pokemon...So lethal force it has to be!"
The two dodged it's latest claw swipe then Kamen Rider Enforcer taps on the blue light on his shoulder announcing "Let's see if it likes a Deep Freeze!"
A blue beam was sent out towards the Grimm. It engulfs the Grimm and began to freeze it or it would've had it not opened it's mouth trying to inhale the attack just as it saw Hotaru was doing against Shadow Magnezone. Now while it inhaled the attack seemingly stopping it the Grimm's mouth began to freeze but that was the only area freezing.
"That wasn't what I was expecting…" Kamen Rider Enforcer muttered.
"No kidding" Ashley winced "But at least it can't use it's mouth to bite any of us!"
In response to it's mouth freezing the Grimm pounced trying to land another slash at Ashley once again. The blond wasn't having it as she chants out "Come wind, thunder spirits. Blow violently with Thunder. Storm of the South Seas. Raging Storm of Thunder!"
She completes her spell just as the dangerous claws almost completed their slash which meant for Ashley's spell, it worked exactly how she wanted it! Wind and thunder erupted swiftly as the spell went to work on the Grimm. It tries to roar but the duo noticed it was heavily damaged. Taking this to his advantage Kamen Rider Enforcer tapped his red shoulder "Okay then let's try this one out, Blazing Spray!"
The red light sent out what appeared to be a flaming mist similar to pepper spray police had right at the dazed Grimm's face. FUMPH! The Grimm's face lit up with flames briefly and it roars as the flames exactly worked like pepper spray blinding it while also burning it.
"No way...You have a freeze ray with Deep Freeze, and now a flaming pepper spray in the other?" Ashley asked him.
"Hey cut me some slack will you Ashley?" The Kamen Rider asked her "I only got these powers about a week and three days ago, so not even I know what I have in store. However it does make since in the crime fighting way."
He aimed his taser gun at the Grimm as Ashley admitted it did make logical since that way "Your powers were created by the US government for the sole purpose of law enforcement and protecting the citizens like a police officer or any law enforcement official."
"Indeed, now let's finish this thing off!" Kamen Rider Enforcer told her as he grabbed his taser gun.
"Right with you!"
The two prepared for their final assault on the Grimm.
Normal Autobot procedures meant that as soon as a Decepticon attacked they were to request some back up at their current location. However for Windchaser, she realized that wasn't an option when you were on a new team. Her part of being on Team Hotarumon 14 was to deal with Decepticons...Specifically in situations like this where her teammates were facing off against different opponents. She knew Ashley, Hotaru, Kamen Rider Enforcer and Ziva would help face off against the Decepticons yet they were all occupied so she needed to pull her weight to deal with this threat. Luckily there weren't many Decepticons this time. She blasts some down but the real problem was Skyburn! For the moment Windchaser took another Decepticon down with a well shot blast to it's face she took a punch to her already injured chest that knocked the Autobot off her feet. Skyburn grabbed onto the Autobot's legs then bashed her head into the ground "Is this all you can do Windchaser? How weak you've become!"
Windchaser gave out a low irritated tiny growl as the Decepticon threw her towards a building in hopes for Windchaser to slam right into it to injure any people inside. The female Autobot adjusted her feet quickly then flipped upward in midair then twisted herself in a way that she cleared the building. Skyburn growls firing her needles out of one hand while firing blasts at Windchaser out of the other. Windchaser avoids both then returned fire but with just one shot. This time it is the Decepticon that got hit but in her wrist specifically in the area where she could fire out a stinger. Skyburn growls "You got lucky Windchaser!"
Windchaser now leaps down twirling around then took Skyburn off guard with a massive flying kick that sent the Decepticon head over toe only to finally land on her back.
Skyburn gets up blasting at Windchaser once again. Windchaser avoids the attacks then boldly charges forward blasting at her foe rapidly while advancing. At the same time Skyburn did the same. Then once close both Autobot and Decepticon attempted to nail each other with a single punch. Both fists clash creating a large clanging sound as it happened.
"You won't win this Windchaser!" Skyburn snarls at her "We have your new little party where we want you!"
"Doesn't look to me as if that is Skyburn!" Windchaser replied.
As the fights were happening it looked as if the villains were gearing towards another loss. However one thing was in the villains' favor and that it was getting Team Hotarumon 14 nearly back-to-back in a circle. In fact this was exactly what was happening as Hotaru had her left of her pet's right. Ashley and Kamen Rider Enforcer had joined them with their backs pressing against the other two. Windchaser due to being tall while she was in the circle she wasn't touching anyone's back.
"So…" Ashley muttered to her teammates "How's everything going."
"If only I can use Earthquake" Hotaru muttered "It's got some stupid Magnet Rise!"
"Have you waited it out for four turns?" Ziva asked.
"I've been inhaling like mad and using Stockpile...I'm at max amount of times I can use it though!"
Queen Venomica notices the group then smirked now was the time for the Shadow move. Adam saw it too giving Erdos a nod as if to say now. Erdos gave out the command "Shadow Implosion!"
Hotaru didn't hear the command but she had a bad feeling about this as dark shadow like energies built up around Shadow Magnezone. Ziva saw it too "Nuts...That looks like Explosion!"
"Only shadow like!" Kamen Rider Enforcer announced.
Hotaru knew she had to act fast giving the Rototrix a command "Rototrix, I'm gonna use Protect! Increase the force field to be around my friends!"
"On it!" was the reply.
The Shadow Magnezone now unleashed a violent explosion filled with shadow and darkness energies at the team. Hotaru unleashed the move Protect causing a blue barrier to engulf not only herself but her friends as well. Protect worked...At least in the beginning but eventually the shadow attack was too much even for Protect and the Rototrix beeped out the answer "This shadow attack...It penetrated the barrier! It must've had a lifting effect or an effect that penetrates even Protect or Detect!"
Hotaru grits her teeth "Then redirect most of this damage to me!"
"I wouldn't recommend it! If it's a Shadow version of Explosion...It'll half or completely take away your defenses!"
"Just do it!" Hotaru ordered.
The Rototrix followed her command doing it's best to redirect the full damage towards Hotaru. Hotaru stood her ground bracing for impact as the attack strikes. Thanks to quick thinking Hotaru took most of the brunt force of the attack while her teammates seemingly took very little but were blown away slightly by the violent wind force of the Shadow Implosion.
"Hotaru!" Ashley, Kamen Rider Enforcer, and Windchaser shouted seeing this and Hotaru was flat on her back in deep pain.
"MISTRESS!" Ziva shouts as well.
When the dust settled Hotaru was on her back. Amazingly she moved her hands and weakly began to get onto her feet. Once more she was severely injured but she didn't have a burn stat although she looked horrible as if a bomb had exploded on her. Blood was flowing everywhere on her as she had pieces of shrapnel everywhere on her.
"She's alive?!" Queen Venomica asked.
This was repeated by Adam and Erdos they were both sure that was gonna at least kill Hotaru. Queen Venominca attempts to come at Hotaru but Hotaru despite being severely injured managed to get onto her feet, gtabbed Queen Venomica's fangs with one hand then delivered a Fire Punch to her face. The Fire Punch sent Queen Venomica plowing backwards flattening Skyburn briefly and the Grimm.
"HOW ARE YOU STILL FIGHTING OR ALIVE?!" Skyburn asked.
Hotaru answered huffing "One that attack didn't completely take my defenses away, my Stockpiles I used earlier nullified some of that damage but here's the thing you villains need to know about me...No matter what you do to try to kill me! You'd better make sure it does cause even when I look weakened, I won't quit."
She notices the Shadow Magnezone was still moving as did Ziva. Ziva growls "How is that thing still moving around, that should've fainted!"
"I've merely given it a Demonic anti explosive ssshielding that prevents the usersss of Self-Destruct or Explosion attacks from fainting" Queen Venomica admitted the answer "Only worksss one time though.
Hotaru now used the effect of the move swallow, recovering some of the damage she took as she spoke to her friends "Let's finish this!"
"Right!"
Ashley sends out twenty magic arrows of ice at the Grimm striking it's limbs. Kamen Rider Enforcer used his taser gun to electrocute it so that he could use his finishing kick move! The Grimm was annihilated. Windchaser tries to fire at Skyburn but Queen Venomica was on top of her. Luckily Ziva was there unleashing a Discharge attack on the two. This shocked the two and paraylized Queen Venomica briefly while putting Skyburn in stasis. The Discharge attack also hit the Shadow Magnezone. Hotaru managed to close in on the Shadow Magnezone and gave it a one last Fire Punch! This time the fist connected and due to the Shadow Pokemon's HP being at one caused the Shadow Magnezone to faint.
Hotaru spoke "Shadow Pokemon defeated...Awaiting purification!"
"Leave it to me!" was the Rototrix's response once it was done purifying the Shadow Magnezone it announced "Shadow Pokemon...Purified!"
Now the heroes all turn their attention to Skyburn and Queen Venomica. The two villains now overcame their status problems.
"You win again" Queen Venomica hissed.
"You got lucky this time Autobot" Skyburn admitted.
"Want to go at it more?" Windchaser demanded.
"We'll withdraw for today" Queen Venomica admitted "But we'll be back!"
The two left. Once they were gone Team Hotarumon 14 went back to their hidden base in Windchaser where both Hotaru and Kamen Rider Enforcer returned back to normal.
"What was that monster Darnel and I fought?" Ashley asked.
"Not sure" Hotaru answered "But they clearly were out for blood today. That Shadow Implosion nearly got me."
"You tanked that hit somehow" Windchaser admitted.
"I asked the Rototrix to redirect most of that damage to me" Hotaru told her friends "Trust me you don't want to feel a Shadow attack. Those are the worst type attacks to be hit by."
"I'll take your word for it" Darnel admitted.
He watches Hotaru sit down at a computer "What are you doing?"
"Informing Director Vance about this battle" Hotaru said.
"What for?" Ashley and Darnel asked.
"So he can be in the loop of what had happened downtown and come up with some cover story" Hotaru said looking at Windchaser "Sound familiar?"
"Ah yeah, Agent Fowler" Windchaser answered "That man is always having to come up with some cover story for the Autobots if they or the Decepticons are discovered while Raph works online to remove that evidence."
"Indeed" Hotaru said "Plus that attack was different. Besides Director Vance gave us this base of operations, the least we can do is give him a report on what happened during every fight. Plus it'll give him insight to what we discovered during that battle."
"He would want to be informed about that Monster" Darnel admitted.
"Exactly" Hotaru said "Cause I have a feeling that there will be more of those monsters and he may ask us to investigate this further to find out the answers."
With this Hotaru works on the report while Ashley, Darnel, Windchaser and Ziva looked worried. Hotaru was right on this day to worry about an attack. This attack was well planned they needed to be ready for the next time. Regardless of the plan Team Hotarumon 14 was going to be there to stop it.

Long episode but I enjoyed writing Hotarumon 14! Anyway next episode is Episode 42: Team Hotarumon 14 vs Adam: The White Fang terrorist leader has been granted permission to attack Team Hotarumon 14. Will Team Hotarumon 14 be able to defeat him?
