In 2148, explorers on Mars discovered the remains of an ancient spacefaring civilisation. In 2157, mankind opened the Shanxi-Theta relay and encountered alien life. But it was in 2155 that everything changed, when unwanted guests as ancient and arrogant as any Reaper arrived in the galaxy, dragging with them unwitting tagalongs.
