After hearing from Rei that chief Ikari really wants all four children dead for his own evil gain, Shinji and the other pilots quickly decide that it's high time to clean house if they want to wake up with their heads attached to their necks and to not see the planet reduced to a smoking crater. But as the unfortunate orphans will soon learn, fighting fate is harder than it looks.
