Chapter 1: Yet Another Prologue
It was a typical day in the town known as Amity Park.
It was also a few days after the most insane sweet sixteen party in history and our heroes were enjoying being freed from a certain brat who is still under house arrest and awaiting trial...as well as enjoying a rare ghost free week.
Especially our favorite lovebirds, who were currently at the Nasty Burger together.
"Here you go, Boo Boo~..."Star said in a cutesy voice as she fed him some fries.
"Thanks, Starlight~..."Danny said in an equally cutesy way as he ate it and then kissed her cheek, making her giggle.
"Yuck! Seriously, did they both basically forget we are literally right here?..."Sam complained, since she and the others were also present.
"I think so..."Tucker said, and Jazz nodded.
The couple shrugged and were still acting lovey dovey with each other. Valerie, who was on her day off, shook her head as she watched this sappy but sweet moment between her best friend and Danny.
"Looks like they are making up for lost time..."Val said, while her friends kept flirting and feeding each other fries and other foods.
Despite how sappy they can be, their friends were just happy that they were happy again after the ordeal they went through.
Later
After they finished, the teens left the establishment, and our favorite couple were still being lovey-dovey and cutesy with each other.
"Do you guys need us to leave or something?..."Sam asked, annoyed as they kept flirting with each other.
"Come on guys. I know Star and I have been trying to enjoy the ghost free and Psycholette free time we have been given...and we have been going on dates practically every day since our half-a-versary but just because we are together doesn't mean we are going to neglect you guys too..."Danny said, still holding Star's hand as he said this.
"That's right. And come on, after what we went through, can you really blame me for wanting to be around my Boo as much as possible?..."Star said with a pout.
Sam rolled her eyes.
"Speaking of Psycholette...any news of when the trial will be and if she'll be sent some place far, FAR away from us?..."Sam asked.
"My dad is going over the last of the paperwork and the trial is supposed to be the day after tomorrow..."Star said.
"That was quick..."Jazz said.
"Not quick enough if you ask me..."Danny muttered and their friends nodded.
"Just a few more days and she'll finally be tried like the criminal she is..."Star said.
"I just hope your dad can make sure that Jean-Puke and whatever ambulance chaser he hired won't be able to find some loophole to somehow trick the judge into not punishing her..."Val said.
"Trust me, Star's dad is way more than capable of making sure that won't happen. I mean, we're talking about the guy who defended me against Walker in the ghost trial, so I'm not worried..."Danny said, shocking Val.
"Wait? What? What are you talking about Danny? Ghost trial? Huh?..."Val asked.
The others were confused but soon realized it.
"Oh, right. You and your dad were visiting your aunt during that time. I guess we never got a chance to tell you..."Star said.
"Tell me what?..."Val asked.
"It's kind of a long story...'Danny said.
"It's my day off and there are no ghosts to hunt since your enemies agreed to a truce, so I got time..."Val said. "Now dish it. What happened?..."She asked, wanting to hear more.
Seeing that their friend wanted to know more, and having nothing else to do right now, our heroes began to tell the tale of one of their past adventures.
"Well, it was quite a while ago. Before our trip to New York to be more precise..."Danny began.
"Yeah, just a little after I was...well...after Misty's wish empowered me into being Starlight Spirit again..."Star said, while Val still looked intrigued.
"While we were trying to move on from that event, a certain control freak in the ghost zone was up to his old tricks again..."Danny said as this story began properly.
