Willow was in shock when she heard the man's voice behind her. "Don't do that! You'll scare people doing that! Willow told him, trying to calm down. After calming down, Willow turned to face the proprietor of the shop. "You have this outfit on sale for $60.00. I can do $25.00 for it" Willow told him, as the haggling on the price began.
Ethan shook his head. While he DID want to sell the costume, he had to play store owner. "$25.00 is too low. I can do $50.00 for it" he told Willow.
"$30.00" Willow countered. She wanted this costume and show Xander that she DID have curves!
"$40.00. At that price, I can still make some profit" Ethan countered. He was getting into the spirit of this haggle with Willow.
"$35.00. That's halfway between your last offer and my last offer" Willow stated, her Resolve Face coming out.
Ethan let out a false sigh. "$35.00 it is. Give me a few minutes to get it packed" he told Willow. With that, Ethan carefully took the costume off the mannequin, making sure that everything was what it should be. As he packed it up, he also made sure to put the chaos spell on both the corset, and some hairpins he had, to ensure that the hair would stay in place. When everything was done, he accepted the payment from Willow, who took the receipt and left. "With that costume, there will be a great deal of Chaos tonight" Ethan muttered to himself, as he closed the shop, and began preparations for when he would invoke Janus for the Chaos spell.
When Willow got home, she carefully unpacked her costume. The boots and the gloves were easy to get on and off. The collar, while easy as well, would be the last thing to put on. The Bustier would be fairly simple as well. But the hair and makeup were out of her skill to do. However, she DID know somebody who had always said that if she needed some help, to just ask. So, Willow picked up the phone and called Joyce Summers. Joyce invited Willow over, so that everything would be ready in time to take the children out for Trick or Treat, per principal Snyder's demands.
"So, why this costume Willow? I mean, it is unusual and such, but why this one?" Joyce asked, as she started working on Willow's hair. While an interesting choice, it was an outfit that seemed somewhat old fashioned.
Willow sighed. "Usually, I go as a ghost. Easy to make, cheap price wise, safe. But Xander" here Willow blushed somewhat" said that he prefers his women in Spandex, compared to my Ghost, or this 18th century Lady Buffy was planning on going as. So, I wanted to show Xander that I did have curves. I was looking around, and found this costume, and decided to go with it tonight" she explained to Joyce.
Joyce nodded. "Sounds like Willow has something of a crush on Xander" she thought to herself, as she finished up the hair, and proceeded to do the makeup. By the time that Buffy was home, the work that Joyce had done was finished. "Take a look in the mirror Willow and tell me what you think" the lady considered The Scooby Den mother suggested.
Willow went over to the mirror in Joyce's bedroom and looked. She was STUNNED! She didn't look like shy, demure, unseen Willow. She looked like a lady who was a force to be reckoned with! "Is that me?" she asked, stunned at her appearance. "If this doesn't get Xander to notice me, then NOTHING will!" the red head thought to herself.
A few minutes later, Buffy came home, ready to get into her Halloween costume
