Hello, and welcome to my first experimental Doctor Strange fanfic. Actually this is TECHNICALLY my second Doctor Strange fanfic, as the first one was in the form of a crossover with the anime Seven Deadly Sins (aka Nanatsu no Taizai) under the fanfic title of Through The Times.

A solo Doctor Strange fanfic was conceived after re-watching Doctor Strange and Doctor Strange: The Multiverse Of Madness movies on my smartphone three weeks ago , and after re-watching the movie Kamen Rider Wizard In Magic Land just three days after, a new inspiration popped into my head after mentally toying the idea about the two aforementioned series.

I sort of got a WHAT IF moment about two MAGIC USERS encountering for the first time and how their differing backgrounds would cause conflicts amongst them, and how characters from both series would react, and there it gave me ideas and inspiration to come up with this experimental story and see if this would attract interest from fans of the Doctor Strange comics readers and movie fans.

It took me almost a week to come up with the first chapter as there's no telling how the reception would be, hence this would be an experimental one and whether a new chapter would be planned depending how the reception this fic would get.

While the initial plot of this fic would be based on the film, there would be certain origin elements that would be used within this fic since this is a crossover between the two aforementioned series.

Lastly, this fic will be T-rated due to some horror and humorous themes and scenes within the upcoming chapters, but there will be a few...BRUTAL scenes...but they will be one-shot ones...since it will be an integral part of the story...

Ch. 1: Prologue

Japan.

The country that is located within South East Asia, quite near different Asian countries such as China, Taiwan and the Philippines, is seen and that country is ruled by the Diet, and are handled by the Emperor and the Prime Minister. After their defeat at World War II, the country began to change for the better, and for several decades Japan vastly improved, mostly in the technological department yet their culture and values remained the same, as most Japanese citizens remained hospitable to visitors, residents and tourists alike.

The scene then zoomed further and you can see that the scene shows that the place being shown is Tokyo, which is bustling with people who are walking the busy streets, some riding vehicles, and others riding on bicycles. There are several types of people seen on the streets; adults, children, and even infants being carried by their parents. Businessmen, businesswomen, students, policemen, all kinds of persons are seen, and they were doing their usual activities as if they do not mind it.

Shops are open and the merchants are selling their merchandise and are enticing people to buy them in hopes of earning money. It was a typical day and it seems that people today are lively and felt that their lives are full of blessings and couldn't ask for anything more, as some are happy with stable jobs, students studying in the best schools, and more, and some even chatted with one another feeling that today is a good day.

"Hey!"

"Nice day, isn't it?"

"Today is a good day..."

"I love my job..."

"Life is so good..."

"I wish I have a good day..."

"Lots of money..."

"Lots of girls..."

The scene later shifts to a certain area, where business is thriving the area is frequently being besieged by customers which are a mix of adults and teenagers, and they appeared to be avid collectors, as they are looking and buying second-hand items which are technological in nature, and their reasons for patronizing the said shops are purely economical in nature - cheaper prices and practicality. You can see several shops selling HOT items for cheaper prices, such as smartphones, android tablets and even laptops, and despite being second-hand items, they appeared to be in good working conditions, and some of the customers are willing to buy them as long as their desired items are working fine as well as to save money for budgetary reasons, and the merchants are using subtle means in enticing passing customers.

"Hello...please by our items..."

"They are cheaper..."

"...they are in good working condition..."

"You can try them if you like..."

"I promise you will like them..."

"I promise you will get your money's worth..."

"Here are the items on our display..."

"Pick the one you like..."

The area in question turns out to be Akihabara, and the area is thriving and many merchants set up shops to attract passing customers and entice them to buy their products by showing the items and offered cheaper prices while assuring them that the items are in good working condition, and their marketing strategy worked as some passing customers were intrigued after hearing that so e gadgets are being sold in cheaper prices, and they began asking the merchants what itens do they sell, and the merchants showed to the customers the items they are selling, ranging from smartphones to android tablets and even laptops.

Then the scene shifts to another nearby shop, where a merchant is also selling second-hand items, but unlike the other shops, this merchant is selling something else and is catering avid collectors, and the scene shifts inside the shop where you can see the items being sold, which turn out to be classic console units and games, all being displayed on the shelves, and one by one you can see the following consoles being on display, which are:

- Nintendo Famicom

- Super Famicom

- Sega Mega Drive

- Game Boy Color

- Game Boy Advance

- Neo Geo

- Sony Playstation

- Sega Saturn

- Nintendo 64

In a matter of minutes customers passed by the shop, and most of them are avid collectors and fans of video games, and they were immediately intrigued by the items on display and they looked at the items, as some appeared to be unaware that such classical consoles actually existed, and they began asking the merchants if those consoles and its games are really something to be owned, which the merchant nodded and assured to them that the classic games are RARE, and are fun to play with, saying that even with popular games today that are released on current consoles such as the Sony Playstation 4, the Microsoft X-Box One and the Nintendo Wii, the consoles on display are even COOLER due to its nostalgia factor.

"Are they really cool compared to today's consoles?"

"Yes...they ate cool..."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, sir...they are the very first games...and they are the popular ones in its heydays...and they are RARE to find..."

"Hmm..."

"Would you like to try them...?"

"..."

"I promise you will not regret it..."

Shizuoka.

Shizuoka Prefecture is a prefecture of Japan located in the Chūbu region of Honshu. As of September 2023, Shizuoka Prefecture has a population of 3,555,818 and has a geographic area of 7,777.42 km2 (3,002.88 sq mi). Shizuoka Prefecture borders Kanagawa Prefecture to the east, Yamanashi Prefecture to the northeast, Nagano Prefecture to the north, and Aichi Prefecture to the west.

Shizuoka is the capital and Hamamatsu is the largest city in Shizuoka Prefecture, with other major cities including Fuji, Numazu, and Iwata. Shizuoka Prefecture is located on Japan's Pacific Ocean coast and features Suruga Bay formed by the Izu Peninsula, and Lake Hamana which is considered to be one of Japan's largest lakes. Mount Fuji, the tallest volcano in Japan and cultural icon of the country, is partially located in Shizuoka Prefecture on the border with Yamanashi Prefecture. Shizuoka Prefecture has a significant motoring heritage as the founding location of Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha, and is home to the Fuji International Speedway.

Sometime in the year 2012…

The scene shifts at an unspecified area off the coast of Tokyo, where several people of all ages are stranded, and trapped, as they were mysteriously sent here and they are baffled at how they ended up here as moments ago they were doing their daily routine at the city, and now they are bewildered as they find themselves in a place that is near the seas with no way of getting help.

"H-hey…what is this…?"

"What's going on…?"

"Where are we…?"

"How did I get here…?"

"Is this a prank…?"

"Damn…I'm on my way to a meeting and now this…"

"I don't like this…"

"There's no signal…"

Suddenly the skies went dark and the abducted people are baffled at what they just saw, and there the areas they are standing on suddenly glowed, which they are slowly terrified as they believe that something bad is about to happen, and as they are about to scamper away to seek a safer place to seek refuge or get help, their bodies glowed and many are screaming in pain, as their bodies began to CRACK UP, as of they feel like SOMETHING INSIDE THEM IS TRYING TO GET OUT, and the abducted people screamed louder in pain as they are now VISIBLY BLEEDING from head to toe, which they were screaming and begging for help.

"AAAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEE!"

"GGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHH!"

"WWWWWAAAAHHHH!"

"KKKKKYYYYAAAAHHH!"

"AAAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEE!"

"GGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHH!"

"WWWWWAAAAHHHH!"

"KKKKKYYYYAAAAHHH!"

There the abducted people became horrified as they saw their fellow kidnapped victims screaming and bleeding until one by one, their bodies EXPLODED, flesh disintegrated and the area they are standing on was covered in BLOOD. The other abducted people became more horrified and tried to escape but for some reason they were unable to as they knelt down in pain as they bleed even more until they too exploded.

In their places, strange creatures emerged and looked around before taking their leave, seemingly acting like nothing happened and this leaves the remaining kidnapped victims as they continue to scream and bleed whilst trapped in a glowing energy.

As more and more of the victims fell victim, the numbers dwindled until a young man, who appeared to be 20 years old, is kneeling as he is bleeding, his body glowed in some kind of energy as you can see that a PAIR OF WINGS are emerging from his back, his skin is being PEELED OFF, and he is on the verge of being RIPPED APART.

However, he appeared to have a strong will and looked up in the sky, and raised his hand as if he is trying to reach something, and he slowly stood up, fighting the pain and screamed in fury and determination, showing that he has some kind of incredible strength from within.

"I...I won't...give in...! I won't...give up!"

A sudden burst of light appeared, and the young man's body glowed again, but this time nothing happened, as he remained intact, his wounds somewhat healed yet bloodstains remain on his tattered clothing. The young man looked around and saw the remains of the victims, which were only bloodstains before something emerged, which humanoid-like entities appeared and went to different directions.

One remained and saw the young man, and approached him, intending to harm him until a STRANGE BARRIER appeared and swats the attacking entity away. The young man turn around where he saw another figure, garbed in whitish armor and robes, and is carrying a young girl who appeared unconscious, in which he approached the young man and gave the girl to him.

There the mysterious figure in white armor and robe gave an unseen object to the young man and said that he is the CHOSEN ONE who will fight to protect others.

"Well done."

"Huh?"

"In spite of what you went through, you held on and survive."

"I..."

"A very admirable feat. For that, you now have the potential to become a wizard."

"Me...a wizard...?"

"Here…take these...you will need it...now that you have the potential to become a wizard."

"Is this...for real...?"

The young man stared in confusion on what is going on, but he would later find out why he survived and what the purpose of being given such a mission.

In the few weeks that have passed the young man began embarking on a mission to defeat the strange creatures that began targeting certain individuals for a specific reason, one example being a police detective who is investigating a series of sightings of CERTAIN COSTUMED INDIVIDUALS, and there the scene shows that this police detective is leading her team to do a stakeout after getting a tip and told them to be ready for anything.

The police detective is identified as Rinko Daimon and there she is leading a squad of policemen as they are standing in front of the door of a warehouse, and there one of the cops approached her and said that there are no suspicious activities outside, and said that it is safe to assume that the culprits are inside the warehouse.

He said that he called for reinforcement and was told that help would arrive in a few minutes from now, and he suggested that they should make do with the time they have in order to stall the culprits inside the warehouse and prevent them from escaping.

Hearing this, she told her men to get ready as they are about to get into a firefight, which her men nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yes, ma'am!"

Nodding, Rinko led the squad inside the warehouse and draw their guns, looking around, and to their surprise, it was empty and that no one else is around, and this made Rinko baffled, as it turns out that this stake out was based on a tip from a police detective named Amino, who told her that he got word of some SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY at this area.

Rinko then told the rest to be alert and ready as she believed that they may have walked into a possible trap and an ambush might take place, which the cops replied in acknowledgement.

"Yes, ma'am!"

As the cops looked around, they saw someone emerging from a corner, and they stared in shock at who appeared, as it looked like a monstrous creature that resembled that of a Minotaur, and there the Minotaur told the raiding team that they have just walked in to their graves, and assured that no one would leave alive.

Rinko was taken aback as she did not expect anything like this and told the cops to open fire and not let up until the creature is taken down, which the cops roared in acknowledgement.

"Yes, ma'am!"

The cops fired their guns and shoots the Minotaur creature, not wasting a single second as they are determined to stop him from causing harm, but to their surprise, the bullets simply dented and fell to the ground.

The Minotaur creature laughed and said that he is looking forward to turn this place into a crematorium and points his finger at Rinko, telling her that she will be the last to die at his hands once he get rid of the EXCESS BAGGAGE, much to her shock at hearing this.

She then told the cops to fall back as she saw that the bullets are not slowing down the Minotaur creature and urged them to get out of here and get help, which the cops said that they can't leave her alone like this.

However, the Minotaur creature raised a hand and a huge fireball appeared and threw it at the cops, hitting them, and many were charred to death while others were thrown aside by the impact and some screamed in pain.

"AAAAAIIIIIEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

"WWWWWWAAAAAAHHHH!"

"AAAAAIIIIIEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

"WWWWWWAAAAAAHHHH!"

Rinko narrowly evaded the attack, but is then cornered by the Minotaur creature and tells her that she is the next to fall, as he began to strangle her in a slow, painful and agonizing way.

"Looks like you're all alone now."

"Ggggaaakkk!"

"Now then…what will I do with you…?"

"Ggggaaakkk!"

"You are a perfect specimen…"

"Ggggaaakkk!"

"Now then…"

"Ggggaaakkk!"

Suddenly, the young man who survived the BLOODY RITUAL arrived as he used the motorcycle to ram through the door and rammed the Minotaur creature, and the impact caused him to lose his grip and Rinko got free, and there the Minotaur creature asked the young man, identified as Haruto Soma, if he has a death wish, which the young man nodded and said that his wish is to eradicate monsters like the Minotaur.

As the Minotaur is poised to attack, Haruto got off the motorcycle and there he placed his right hand in front of the belt, which had a HAND SYMBOL attached, which is identified as theWizardriver, where a voice spoke where the ordinary-looking belt changed shape and became a semi-large, metallic one.

Wizardriver: "DRIVER ON…PLEASE…"

The Minotaur creature raised an eyebrow at seeing this as Haruto took out a ring and placed it on his left middle finger, where he is ready to initiate his transformation.

"Henshin."

Wizardriver: "FLAME…PLEASE…HIII…HIII…HIII-HIII-HIII…"

Haruto raised his left arm in a sideway motion, where a magical circle, imbued with very bright fire and flames, appeared and slowly went towards the teen boy, enveloping him, and both Rinko and the Minotaur creature stared in shock as they believed that Haruto was burned alive, but to their surprises, he is enveloped in black armor with an overcoat, his chest armor has red crystal-like ornaments, his helmet resembled a crystal ring with the eye-lens resembled a red jewel.

He is now Kamen Rider Wizard, and he is ready to do battle as the Minotaur creature is in a state of disbelief at what he just saw, and now he is poised to attack a possible threat and is determined to finish what he started.

A series of events took place after this encounter, where it is revealed that the creatures are revealed as Phantoms, in which they targeted certain individuals who have MAGICAL POTENTIAL known as Gates, which Rinko was revealed to be one though she is unaware of it, and there it is revealed that if the Gate FELL TO DESPAIR the NEGATIVE AURA would CORRUPT the INNER PHANTOM inside the Gate's UNDERWORLD and would rampage and try to escape, which would kill the Gate, but Wizard would use a Magic Ring and go inside the victim's UNDERWORLD and eradicate the INNER PHANTOM, not only saving the victim's life but would also render the victim NORMAL and thus having no magic potential.

Since then Rinko became Haruto's ally and confidant, and they worked together to solve cases and defeat Phantoms that are targeting Gates. Along the way they gained more allies in their battle against the Phantoms, such as Japan's National Security Council who at first were distrustful towards Haruto but eventually trusts him and worked together, and then a young man named Kousuke Nitoh, who accidentally gained a magical device that enable him to transform into Kamen Rider Beast, and there they worked together to defeat more Phantoms.

In the months that passed the two magic-wielding Kamen Riders fought more Phantoms and in the process a number of situations took place:

- Medusa Phantom began targeting a female high school student who is revealed to be the twin sister of a Gate who was turned into the Medusa Phantom. Medusa succeeded in driving the Gate to despair but the latter managed to overcome it like how Haruto did and gained magical abilities, and there the White Wizard appeared and drove the Phantom away before offering the survived Gate to train her so she can exact vengeance against the Medusa Phantom. The high school student, identified as Mayu Inamori, accepted the offer and after a few weeks she became Kamen Rider Mage;

- Along the way Haruto discovered that the White Wizard is behind everything that led to people being turned into Phantoms just to revive his already-dead daughter;

- The now-exposed White Wizard abducted two Gates who overcome their despair and brainwashed them into serving him in order to commence a new ritual. Yuzuru Ijima and Masahiro Yamamoto, became Kamen Rider Blue Mage and Kamen Rider Green Mage, and they were brainwashed to capture Haruto and Mayu.

- Through Kamen Rider Beast's efforts the new ritual was thwarted and both Yuzuru and Yamamoto were freed from the brainwashing, while Haruto then fought the White Wizard, who in turn was murdered by a powerful Phantom – the Gremlin Phantom, which the latter murdered the White Wizard's daughter soon after;

- The three Kamen Rider Mages fought and stall Gremlin Phantom, which Haruto joins the battle and eventually defeated the Phantom, and he continued to use magic to help people and defeat any stray and/or rogue Phantoms;

After that Japan was at peace again yet Haruto and his allies continue their patrolling the streets in case there are surviving stray Phantoms lurking about.

Four years later…

It was the year 2016, and there the scene shifts at Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu is the seat of federal government and the most populous city in Nepal, which in turn is a landlocked country in South Asia. It is mainly situated in the Himalayas, but also includes parts of the Indo-Gangetic Plain. It borders the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north, and India to the south, east, and west, while it is narrowly separated from Bangladesh by the Siliguri Corridor, and from Bhutan by the Indian state of Sikkim.

Nepal has a diverse geography, including fertile plains, subalpine forested hills, and eight of the world's ten tallest mountains, including Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. Kathmandu is the nation's capital and the largest city. Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and multi-cultural state, with Nepali as the official language.

Kathmandu appeared to be somewhat peaceful until moments later, a group of rogue sorcerers infiltrate the Kamar-Taj, an enclave that is known only to the Masters of the Mystic Arts. The librarian saw them and attempted to try using diplomacy by peacefully urging the attackers to stop their actions and leave in peace, which the leader of the intruders scoffed and he instructed his followers to GET RID OF THE GARBAGE, which the other intruders nodded in acknowledgement.

"At once, master!"

The intruders attacked the librarian in a brutal way as they do not care of the consequences of their actions. After beheading the librarian, the group's leader, identified only as Kaecilius, steals a forbidden ritual from a book owned by his former mentor, identified only as the Ancient One. As the Zealots escape through a portal to London, the Sorcerer Supreme traps them in a Mirror Dimension that is invisible to the public. She takes down several Zealots but fails to stop Kaecilius and his surviving followers from escaping with the ritual.

There the Ancient One told some of her remaining subordinates on what to do and said that things are going to be quite strict as security would have to beef up in order to prevent a repetition of what happened moments ago, which the subordinates nodded in acknowledgement.

"We may have to implement changes here from hereon."

"Yes, master."

"And therefore we shouldn't be lax and be ready for anything."

"Yes, master."

Elsewhere...

The scene shifts in New York City, which is the most populous city in the United States of America, located at the southern tip of New York State on one of the world's largest natural harbors. The city comprises five boroughs, each coextensive with a respective county.

The city is the geographical and demographic center of both the Northeast megalopolis and the New York metropolitan area, the largest metropolitan area in the United States by both population and urban area. New York is a global center of finance and commerce, culture, technology, entertainment and media, academics and scientific output, the arts and fashion, and, as home to the headquarters of the United Nations, international diplomacy.

The scene shifts to an American citizen, identified as Stephen Strange, who is an acclaimed doctor and neurosurgeon working at Metro-General Hospital, but is also very arrogant and cares only for the wealth and success his talents bring. He is seen talking to various high-profile patients and celebrities who were praising Strange for his talent, which the latter arrogantly embraced the adulation he is getting.

"You are a very talented and brilliant surgeon, Doctor Strange."

"All patients under your care have recovered."

"I'm so glad that I became an associate with you."

"Ah, thank you…thank you. It's all in a day's work."

"I will let you know if I happen to find people who might need your surgical expertise."

"And I'm pretty sure that they would benefit from you."

"I'll even recommend my contacts to you."

"Sure. Yes. Please do. It'll increase my reputation and you would benefit from this…"

While many respect and admired him, he unknowingly attracted some detractors who despise his arrogant attitude and secretly wish that Strange would get his comeuppance for letting success get to his head.

"That asshole…"

"What an arrogant jackass…"

"Feeling high and mighty…"

"Who does he think he is…?"

"I hope he gets his comeuppance and get to be a taught a lesson…"

"I hope so…"

"Yeah…"

"Definitely."

As fate would have it, one night, as he travels the road to attend an event where he would give a guest talk, he is involved in a car crash after diverting his attention from the road, and thankfully there were eyewitnesses who managed to call for help and ambulances came to take Strange to the nearest hospital to save his life as he is well-known to the American media, and the medics were frantically applying first aid while en route to the hospital.

"Hang in there, sir."

"We're on the way to the nearest hospital."

"We'll save you."

"Uuuhhhnn…"

"Just stay still."

"You'll be okay."

"Nothing bad will happen to you."

"Uuuhhhnn…"

Although he survives, as doctors were able to treat his injuries, Strange began to suffer a series of misfortune, such as his hands, where the attending doctor told Strange that his hands were badly injured from the car crash, necessitating the insertion of metal pins into them so that he would be able to use hands again.

As a result, however, is that they continuously tremble, leaving Strange barely able to hold surgical tools precisely and barely hold a ballpen and write his name, ending his career as a surgeon. His former lover and co-worker Christine Palmer tries to help him move on, but Strange is desperate to heal his injuries and harshly orders her to leave him alone.

"Get out!"

"But, Stephen…"

"Leave me alone!"

"You shouldn't be sulking…"

"I said out!"

"Hey, don't push me…hey! You're pressing my BOOBS!"

"You're flat-chested anyway…now out!"

"I'm not flat-chested and my BOOBS are big! I'm a B-cup!"

To Be Continued...

Hope you liked this chapter, and though majority of the first half of this chapter is a condensed retelling of the Kamen Rider Wizard plot, it is part of the story as it tells the events that happened in the year 2012…

On the other hand, the latter part chronicles the plot of the 2016 events of the Doctor Strange film, since the movie was released in 2016, and I came up with connecting the two characters by having them share the same universe and having the events take place within the four-year time skip.

While Strange did appear, he hasn't become a sorcerer yet, but in the next chapters he will eventually become one…and that's where Kamen Rider Wizard comes waltzing in…
