Jason stood waiting by the door of Danny's apartment. It wasn't quite on campus but close enough that they could just walk towards his exam hall. Just to make sure they had enough time, and that Danny actually ate before his exam, he brought some pastries from a local bakery.

Taking a deep breath, he finally knocked on the door. He knew that Danny knew he was there but it still felt necessary. It was silent for a moment before a multitude of locks started getting unlocked. When the door finally opened, Jason couldn't help but smile softly.

Danny was in his human form for the first time and he couldn't take his eyes off his beautiful boyfriend. Messy black hair was contained by a red beanie. The most gorgeous blue eyes accentuated by the dark circles around them. Maybe he would tempt Danny into staying over tonight, just to make sure the man would sleep well.

"Sorry, I usually just phase through them."

He was so distracted by the perfect human being before him that he almost didn't notice the soft blush and worried glances. Right, he was worried Jason would treat him different. To be quite honest, he didn't see where that fear would come from. Danny was still beautiful, even in a different color scheme. And he would be the worst brother ever if he cared about his love being in a wheelchair.

Holding out the plastic back, he gave Danny his signature lopsided smile. "No worries, you still can before we leave. Brought you some breakfast, two strawberry mille-feuille, as per usual." Danny released the breath he had been holding, shoulders relaxing as he took the offered food.

They didn't waste too much time before leaving, mostly just making sure all of Danny's locks were closed again. It was quite a hassle since they only open and close from the inside for a very good reason. Without even needing to ask, Jason turned around when Danny popped out through the door and transformed back.

"Need any help?" He asked, hands stuffed into his hoodie pocket just so he wouldn't keep itching towards the handles. Barbara preferred to push herself, but Danny looked anything but comfortable.

Danny looked at Jason, uncertainty painted all over his face. "I should be fine for now. School is a whole 'nother mess." He chuckled humorlessly as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Jason stepped to the side, letting Danny take the lead as they made their way over to the science building of Gotham University. It was the first time Jason had to go to that specific building so he wasn't quite sure where they had to go. It took an annoying detour from the front entrance to get to the accessible entrance, but that could be chalked up to Gotham's love for structural design mistakes that somehow passed building code.

"Could you open the door, darling?" Danny mumbled slightly, already feeling a bit annoyed at all the stares they were getting. Especially now with Jason around. He couldn't quite tell if they were staring because of the wheelchair or because a Wayne was in the area. Probably a combination of both.

Jason walked up to the automatic door button, pressing it and then kicking it when it wouldn't open. Mumbling some profanities that were certain to make Danny laugh, he took his chance to hold the door open like they were entering a fancy ball. "After you, my lord." Bowing a full 90, Jason hid his smirk as he knew people were certainly staring now.

Danny laughed at the title, giving Jason's head a soft smack as he passed by. The older man knew how much Danny disliked being addressed so formally, but it was Jason after all. There was very little he could do that wouldn't make Danny smile at least a little.

Getting to the right aula was not any easier. As if Molinski had personally chosen the most difficult room possible, the pair had to go up not one but two overly steep ramps. Jason helped push Danny up, not seeing the point at forcing him to struggle. The real fun to the day was too close to let a stupid ramp ruin it.

Before they walked in, Jason made sure to take off his hoodie. Danny rolled his eyes, knowing Jason was putting on a show by purposely choosing a tighter shirt just for the fun of it. It really also didn't help that he was openly carrying his civvies gun tucked into the back of his pants.

Rolling into the auditorium, Danny was almost immediately greeted by the bane of his existence. With an obnoxious grin plastered on his face, Mr. Molinski sauntered over. "Mr. Fenton, how amazing you could make it." He looked up at Jason, disinterest in the man clearly showing how he was mostly just doing this to get on Danny's nerves. "I'm sorry, I don't think you're a student of mine."

Jason, however, didn't let it bother him. Pulling out years worth of media training, Jason flashed the teacher a classic Wayna smile. "I'm not, I'm here to accompany Danny to and from his exam today."

Mr. Molinski rolled his eyes, looking back over to Danny in annoyance. "Exams aren't a date, Mr. Fenton."

"He isn't a date, he is my aid."

Molinski smirked, acting like he was looking for something as he flipped through empty exam copies. "No formal request had been made for such accommodation. He'll have to wait outside until you've completed your exam." He feigned surprise, anything but hiding his grin. "Oh, and I should warn you, Mr. Fenton. Assigned seats are in alphabetical order. Should you not be able to make it to your seat, I fear I will be forced to mark you absent."

That would place him right in the middle of the row up front. To neither of their surprise, the room wasn't equipped with ramps going that far down. Danny's eyebrow twitched at the news, already regretting taking this class.

Jason, on the other hand, was fighting down a devilish smirk. Unfortunately for Molinski, Babs is one hell of a hacker and had already worked her magic. Pulling up Danny's student files on his phone, he happily presented the falsified documents that would allow for Jason to be wherever he wanted in order to support Danny. "Actually, sir, the request had been approved weeks ago."

Molinski glared at the screen, eyes squinting so narrowly they looked almost closed. "I see." He muttered before straightening himself out. "I'm sorry, who did you say you were again?"

"Jason Todd-Wayne, a pleasure." Molinski paled slightly as Jason eagerly grabbed the man's hand to shake it, the grin fully fading. "My dad would love to hear how well you treat his son in law, sir. He definitely had so much fun last time he made a visit to campus for my little brother Timothy Drake-Wayne some time ago."

"O-o-of course, where are my manners. Please, stay for as long as you like Mr. Wayne." Molinski stuttered, flashbacks from Bruce's rampage flashing before his eyes as he looked at Jason.

Enjoying putting the fear of Bruce in people's eyes for once, Jason smiled innocently. "Oh, please, Jason is just fine. Mr. Wayne was my grandpa." Placing a soft hand on Danny's shoulder, he grabbed a small bag he had previously snuck into Danny's backpack. Jason made a show of looking at his boyfriend lovingly before looking back over to the sweating teacher. "Could you show us to his seat?"

If it was even possible, Molinski paled even further once Jason turned around to lift Danny out of the wheelchair, gun very much showing as he did. Molinski pointed a trembling finger towards the middle of the front rows.

As they went down the steps, Danny softly patted Jason on the chest. "You did that on purpose, didn't you?"

"Of course I did."

Once Danny was comfortably seated, Jason took it upon himself to claim the teachers desk at the front of the room. Kicking his feet up on the desk, he stared straight up at Molinski as he pulled out his gun and placed it on the table. Opening the small bag he brought with him, he set out his cleaning kit. With every set of eyes on him, he completely ignored all but one as he started the pain staking task of cleaning his gun.

As if they had planned it from the start, right around the same time Jason finished up living out whatever story he had made up in his mind, Danny finished up his exam as well. Packing everything back up, Jason sauntered over to Danny's spot and helped him out of the annoying mess that was the middle of a row. With what little use he did have, Danny pushed himself up onto the table and back into Jason's arms.

The closer they got to Molinski to sigh out, neither could hide their smiles as the man looked just a few breaths shy of a nervous breakdown. Setting Danny back in his wheelchair first, they went over to Molinski to hand in the exam and sign Danny out.

Jason hopped onto the table, right next to the signature sheet. "If it isn't too much trouble, sir. Would it be possible to grade it right now? Between the two of us, nobody else seemed anywhere near done and you seem awfully bored up here on your own." Pulling straight from the Brucie handbook, Jason searched deep inside himself to replicate the exact suave philanthropist tone Brucie always used.

Molinski's eyes darted between the two young men before him, sweat dripping down his forehead as he stuttered through an excuse. "A-ah, unfortunately I don't seem to have a pen with me right now."

Actually having planned for it, Jason pulled out a Red Hood pen. It was one of his favorite gag gift but it also worked wonders in certain situations. "No worries, sir, you can borrow mine." He smiled innocently at the man, nearly thrusting the pen into his hand.

Molinski smiled through the stress, face contorting into an awkward cringing smile. "Right, thank you."

It didn't take long for Danny's exam to be graded. Not a single other person handed in their exam either, even if some of them seemed to have genuinely finished as well. The second the final score was totaled up, Molinski nearly threw the pen back at Jason.

With a blinding smile, Jason lead the way out of the room, holding the door open for Danny. Only once they were sure they were far enough so they wouldn't be a bother to the other students did they break out into a laughing fit. Once they finally calmed down, they went over to Batburger for a proper lunch date.
