A deep orange seeped into the sky—the sun setting upon a twinkling horizon. Izuku floated through the air and looked upon the ocean nearby, taking in its natural beauty. He and a few others were being allowed to patrol on their own accord, but on the condition that they would have to be responsible for any potential casualties. It has been a while since he could take in such sights, especially since the war.
'To think it's been half a year already.' Izuku thought.
He felt his phone ring and picked it up to see it was Todoroki calling.
"Hello, Todoroki-san?" Izuku said.
Todoroki cleared his throat. "Hey, Midoriya. I hope you don't mind that I added—"
"The hell do you two want?" Bakugo asked. It seems like Todoroki added him to the call.
Izuku smiled. "Kacchan! How are you two doing on your own?"
"I'm doing great! Took down a whole group of goons!" Bakugo said proudly.
"I've apprehended about 3 as well," Todoroki recalled.
"That's great! I haven't encountered anyone yet, but—"
Before Izuku could finish, he heard an alarm go off nearby. His head turns toward a cloud of smoke engulfing the nearby street.
"One second," Izuku said, hanging up.
Activating One For All, he flies at high speeds toward the blinding pollution. He uses Air Force to blow it away—spotting what seemed to be a large broken window to his left and about 2 robbers running off to his right. Without a word, Izuku lands on the ground and sprints after them using only 5%. He appeared in front of them and finally got a good look at the two. One of them seemed to always have some sort of aroma around them at all times, most likely the one who caused the cloud of smoke from before. The other seemed rather normal at first glance, other than having a strange pair of goggles over his eyes. The one with the smoke power was carrying a large bag, presumably the stolen goods.
"Ah, dammit! It's that kid that defeated Shigaraki!" The smoke one said.
The robber quickly fills the area with smoke once more. Izuku closes his eyes and lets his senses take over. Danger Sense, to the left. He catches a kick and throws the man to the side. Danger Sense, from above? He rolls over and uses Blackwhip to wrap up the person… bird? Izuku opened his eyes to see a giant hawk. Notably, he has the same goggles the other robber had, meaning this person most likely has some sort of transformation-type Quirk.
Izuku quickly catches another attack thrown his way, before having smoke completely spat in his face. He feels his Blackwhip come loose and the transformed robber landing a scratch on him, before feeling a kick from the other robber—sending him flying back a few feet.
"I think I need to kick things up a notch," Izuku said.
He powers up to 10% and uses Air Force once more. The smoke blows away, and before the smoke Quirk user can generate another field of it, Izuku rushes in with his leg.
"New York Smash!" He lands an upper kick against the man's jaw.
The transformed robber—now a bear—charges in at Izuku. However, with the energy he's stored up from Fa Jin, he uses it in conjunction with Air Force.
"Faux 30%, Delaware Smash, Air Force!" Izuku shouts.
The pressurized air hits the man right in the face and knocks the man out instantly. Now for the smoke user. As a last-ditch attempt, the man pumps out as much smoke as possible, in hopes that the boy will pass out from too much consumption of it in his lungs. Unfortunately for the man…
'New World Order: The smoke doesn't have any effect.' Izuku thinks to himself.
The robber pants and pants. He falls to his knees in exhaustion.
"H-Heh… looks like I did it…" The man grabs the large bag he was carrying. "Now I need to make it out with the jewels—"
The bag of jewels was wrapped and pulled to Izuku via Blackwhip.
"…Oh shit—"
He was then wrapped in Blackwhip himself, along with the other robber. Detaching the piece of Blackwhip, he ties the two together and leaves the bag of jewels beside them. Izuku makes his leave as a pack of cop cars arrive on the scene.

Some time passed after that. The sun was almost fully over the horizon, soon being night. Izuku thinks he did a good job today. There were not many casualties, he kept any property damage to a minimum at most, and most importantly, the villains were caught and in the custody of the police. He decided to use this time to sit and watch the sunset.
"Hm. Maybe I should invite Uraraka-san. Maybe Iida too." Izuku said.
However, he suddenly felt strange. Correction; he didn't, the air did. Like a storm was brewing, despite the lack of rain clouds in the sky. The boy began to float, but he wasn't using his Quirk. It was like he was being pulled. It was then he saw it. A portal, multi-colored; Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, Cyan, and White, appeared above him. His entire body was being sucked into it.
"W-What is going on? Blackwhip!" Izuku shouted and shot the tendril, latching onto a tree.
The force however was too strong, causing the tree to break apart.
"A-Aaaa—!"
With Izuku's hold undone, he is sucked into the portal, which then closes upon him entering it.
The feeling of dirt and grass hit Izuku's face as he smashed into the ground below. His body rolled over multiple times like it was a huge snowball rolling down a hillside, before finally coming to a halt. He lay on the ground for a few minutes to collect himself. What had just happened? It all happened so quickly.
"Where…?"
Izuku lifted his upper body, although staying seated. He looked at his surroundings, including the rough trail of dirt from where his body launched after his fall.
"I went through a portal. But that didn't look like any of Kurogiri's portals from back then." Izuku said.
Izuku patted himself down to get most of the dirt off his hero costume. He stands up and gets a good look at his surroundings. For one, it seems to be nighttime. Although not too strange, given the sun was setting last he was aware. Other than that, however, something about the terrain looked different. It was clear he was no longer in any city, but even for nature, something was off. It looked more exotic, with strange patterns, and a weird feeling to go along with.
'Tenth. Do you have any idea where we are?' Kudo asked, forming next to him.
Izuku began to do some squats and built up some Fa Jin energy. "Only one way to find out. Faux Mode: 100%!"
Izuku takes off at high speeds. Using the amount he built up as a sort of battery, he can last in Faux 100% for about 1 minute, less he wanted to waste some more time building up about twice the energy he needed. Regardless, he zipped up and around, occasionally floating over chasms or swinging high into the air from tall trees.
"Bate-san. You've been around the world, right? Does this place give off any sort of familiarity?" Izuku asked.
Shelton formed right beside him, as Izuku took a sharp swing to the left. 'Hmm. Not that I can remember, Tenth. This place is unfamiliar to even me. It would be good to keep your guard up.'
This made Izuku feel uneasy. The boy has read too many superhero comics to know what this spells. Was it possible that he's in—
"Huh?"
Izuku's train of thought was interrupted by the sight of some buildings. It seemed to be some kind of city. A really, really huge one. Like, unfathomably large. The other users appeared around Izuku and looked at each other with looks ranging from being curious, scared, or just utterly confused. Izuku on the other hand, was more or less trying to examine the situation. That is until Izuku heard a shout.
"CHAOS CONTROL!!"
'The hell was that?' Banjo commented.
"Not sure. But that sounded cool." Izuku smiled.
'No time to geek out, kid.' Bruce said.
Izuku approached further by flying over the cityscape. From above he could spot individuals down below, who were currently in the heat of battle. Although he doesn't understand the full extent of the situation, the hero in him is prepared to land beside them and help—
*SHARP*
A noise went off in Izuku's head. Danger Sense! His vision instantly turned toward the tallest building throughout the whole city—a tower. Although his Faux Mode had run out, he simply flew at high speeds and used Air Force to push himself further towards the structure. There was someone in danger, and he would help.
From below, a certain blue hedgehog looked up and caught a glimpse of the green-haired boy.
"Hey, Cubot... You got any of that shaky cheese stuff for the popcorn?"
The Diamond Cutters snuck in through the door into the room where Eggman stood, watching the chaos unfold from a simple screen. Although they weren't technically in the same plane of reality and couldn't be spotted, Lanolin preferred to be more safe than sorry—
"Tangle! Get down!" Lanolin shouted at the lemur, who had been trying to inspect Metal Sonic.
"What? Why?" Tangle asked.
"It's just how we should do things!"
"What does it matter if they can't see us?"
Although nervous and a little frustrated, Lanolin acknowledged that Tangle had a point. They better use this time wisely.
"Fine. I guess it couldn't hurt to have a good look around while we have this advantage." Lanolin said.
The three began inspecting for anything useful—Tangle enthusiastically so. But Lanolin noticed that Whisper caught a glimpse at the screen that Dr. Eggman had his eyes glued on. Taking a good look at it, it sure did show what was going on down below. What concerned her was Whisper's body movements. Even if ever so slightly, she was trembling.
"W-Whoa. What are those things?" Tangle asked.
"That… is what happened to the first Diamond Cutters…" Whisper answered.
Lanolin gasped as Whisper fell to her knees. She and Tangle immediately jumped in to help her to her feet.
"It's too late. They're going to—"
"No, they won't!" Tangle shouted. "Everyone is going to be fine. I promise you. I won't let it happen again."
Lanolin nods. "And neither will I. We're a team, right? We learn from the past, and make a path for a brighter future."
Whisper took a moment to process. With all the mental energy she could muster, she leaned in for a group hug from her new teammates. However, that would be quickly interrupted by a sudden noise.
"CHAOS CONTROL!!"
"Is that supposed to be happening, boss?" Cubot asked.
All of a sudden the lights in the room began to flicker—eventually turning off, along with a huge tremor occurring, all of them feeling the impact and rumble. The next thing you know, Eggman is quick to his control module to fix the issue. The screen read something. Lanolin squinted her eyes to get a better look. "Chaos Overload".
"What's that?" Tangle asked.
"Chaos Overload…" Whisper muttered.
"Whatever it is, it seems important," Lanolin commented.
Lanolin glanced and watched as Cubot went through a few drawers. What was he trying to find? Maybe it was something Eggman desperately needed to fix this problem— Oh no, it was just candles.
'Ugh. Why do I even try?' Lanolin thought.
The lights finally came back on after some time had passed, albeit to Cubot's disappointment. He really wanted to light those candles.
"Everything seems back to normal, sir," Orbot said.
Eggman leaned forward towards the screen, "Power restored, Eggnet towers rebooting, and the undercity security had only a momentary outage. Good, good," before smacking his fist on the table. "But can't a single Badnik get an eye on those animals!?"
"…Aha!"
Tangle and Whisper looked to Lanolin after hearing her suddenly speak up.
"I got it! That power surge nearly crippled the entire city. If we can trigger another one—a bigger one—and stop Dr. Eggman from throttling it at the last second... This place is history!" Lanolin explained.
Tangle jumped for joy. "Oh, do I love the sound of that!"
"We just need to— Huh?"
Lanolin inspected her figure. She started to look normal… Oh no, she looked normal. She glanced back at Whisper and Tangle, quickly realizing that they were changing back to normal as well.
"You two!" Lanolin said. "Don't make a sudden movement, or else—"
The three stopped dead in their tracks, their eyes slowly looking upward. The doctor was standing right over them. He was just a human. They were arguably stronger than him. So… why was his presence so frightening?
"Hmm. I believe I've seen you two before… and it seems you ran into my "Spatial-Displacement Trap"! Did you enjoy your time being helpless and invisible?" Eggman laughed.
From behind the doctor, three new contraptions appeared at his side. "Because don't worry. You'll be able to experience it again, but better! This here is the latest and greatest version! Your atoms will soon scatter into oblivion!"
Whisper attempted to shoot a laser at Dr. Eggman, however, her Wispon hadn't fully manifested yet. Eggman was untouchable, in other words.
"Now! Be trapped!" Eggman shouted.
Just then, something—no—someone crashed through the window of the tower. Everyone looked toward the new entryway to see a boy with green hair, wearing a costume of mainly also green color and a yellow cape. Even Eggman was left speechless. Another human? Coming to stop him, he presumed?
Lanolin's eyes fixated on the boy's face. His type was unfamiliar to her. She hadn't seen many humans but knew of their existence. But something in her gut told her that this boy wasn't from around here. He seemed too different compared to most. But there was something about him that put her at ease for just a moment.
In the blink of an eye, Izuku watched as the machines attempted to surround the three anthropomorphic individuals. Deducing that close contact wasn't the safest option, he formed Blackwhip into the shape of a large hammer, jumped into the air, and took the machines out in one swipe. Landing in front of Lanolin, Tangle, and Whisper, he turned to them.
"Are you three okay?" Izuku asked.

…
"Dude. That. Was. AWESOME!" Tangle geeked. "Seriously, what kind of power IS that!? Lanolin! Whisper! Did you see that!?"
Izuku laughed and scratched the back of his head. "A-Ah, well—"
"AHEM!"
Izuku and the Diamond Cutters turned their attention toward the doctor, who looked less than pleased.
"Just who are you, boy?" Eggman asked in an enraged tone.
Izuku cleared his throat, staring at the scientist with a serious glare. "I'm Izuku Midoriya. And you…?"
Eggman laughs and pushes up his glasses. "You've never heard of me? You must be uneducated for your youth. I am the supreme and illustrious, Dr. Eggman."
"Hmmm… I can't say I've heard of you in any articles I could get my hands on. Villain names are usually a little more distinct." Izuku said.
Eggman, true to his name, began boiling with anger, a seething red covering his face. "You insolent little…! Metal!! Attack!!"
Izuku's eyes widened as a metal claw was inches away from his face before he ducked and landed a kick to put some distance between them. However, the metal hedgehog was persistent and kept up its assault, until eventually Izuku wrapped it in Blackwhip.
"You three! Please get out of here as fast as you can!" Izuku shouts.
The girls look at one another and nod. Whisper grabs Tangle and begins using her Wispon to make her way down. Before Lanolin could make her escape, she looked back toward the boy. He looked about, what, 16 or 17? On top of just being a human. And yet he's putting up as good a fight as Sonic could against Metal Sonic. She took a deep breath as she used her own Wispon to help her down the tower.
Metal Sonic swipes at Izuku, but the boy ducks before landing a 10% kick on his stomach, sending him back a good distance. The robot began spinning into a ball and bounced all over the place. Danger Sense warns Izuku, as he jumps into the air to dodge it. But it keeps going off and does his best to keep the assault from turning into battery. But he must have been holding back too much, as he was finally caught off guard and hit by the robot's speedy and powerful attack.
Eggman clapped. "Yes! Well done, Metal—"
"One For All; 20%… Detroit… SMASH!!"
Eggman felt a small shiver down his spine as Izuku kicked up his power and landed a devastating punch to Metal Sonic's head, sending him flying out the window. This sent a vibration throughout the entire area, although lesser compared to the tremor from earlier. Metal Sonic recovered from the attack, which surprised Izuku.
'Tenth. Whatever this machine is, it's powerful. Be careful.' Kudo said.
"I promise, Kudo-san," Izuku said.
The robotic creation made a motion with his hands, telling Izuku to come at him. The boy couldn't help but smile. While in a dangerous situation and worried about his current location, he couldn't help but have a little fun. Izuku used Float and flew outside of the building, ready to take this battle into the skies.
"Hiya!" Sonic lands an uppercut on a damaged Shadow Android. It falls to the ground and Sonic cleans his gloves.
"That should be the last one," Sonic said.
"Same over here," Amy replied.
"We know Dr. Eggman's location. We can try a sneak attack if possible." Silver suggested.
Tails shook his head. "I don't think that's a wise decision. This is Eggman we are talking about. For all we know, he probably has Metal Sonic on standby to charge us down. A frontal assault isn't the best option."
"The fox has a point. Besides, I feel like the next objective is to save Omega and Shadow." Rouge said.
"That would increase the odds…" Blaze muttered.
"I don't think you'll have to worry about Metal!"
The group looks up to see the trio of Diamond Cutters floating down from above. The three landed with the utmost grace—that was a lie, they almost fell through the ground due to their bodies still being only semi-intangible.
"Lanolin! Tangle! Whisper! You're all okay!" Tails said.
Sonic wrapped his arms around them. "You three made it out in one piece! Great job!"
"Although the praise is appreciated, unfortunately, it wasn't due to our efforts," Lanolin replied.
"Yeah, it was actually—"
They suddenly heard a crash from above and Metal Sonic being sent flying. They all looked astonished! What in the world just happened? Sonic's reaction was different. It was full more of intrigue. Especially with that classic smirk of his. Just then, someone flies out of the window and begins fighting Metal Sonic in the air.
"Ah, is that the human kid I saw earlier?" Sonic asked.
"Huh!? You saw him earlier!?" Tangle shouted, shaking Sonic. "Did he do anything cool!?"
Sonic chuckled. "He smashed through the window if that counts. But seriously, a human who's able to fly and have the strength to fight against Metal? Now THAT piques my interest. Oh, I can't wait to see the look on Eggman's face, haha!"
"Okay team," Tails said, "with this distraction in mind, let's split into groups. Sonic, Amy, and I will head for the top of the tower. Rogue, Silver, Blaze, Lanolin, Tangle, and Whisper. You all need to stay and help Shadow and Omega, wherever they may be."
They all give a thumbs up and get to work. Amy jumps into Sonic's arms—to his embarrassment—and the hedgehog speeds off, with Tails right behind him. Meanwhile, the Diamond Cutters, Rogue, Blaze, and Silver, are prepared to take any remaining threats down and save Shadow and Omega.
"Let's do it to it!" Sonic said cheerfully.
Metal Sonic throws a barrage of punches, causing Izuku to defend against them. The boy just keeps blocking the attacks without much of a counterattack. Banjo was about to ask what he was doing, but Kudo stopped him instinctively; his silence speaking louder than words. Izuku smirks as he kicks Metal Sonic back. The mech prepared to spin dash, however, Izuku had other plans.
"Third, Fa Jin; Energy Formation, 50%!" Izuku shouted.
Metal Sonic's eyes widened, as Izuku's hands formed a red ball of energy. It immediately put its arms up to block. The boy launched it—the blast pushing against the mech with all its might, before exploding, forming a black cloud of smoke with little red sparks around it. As it dissipates, Metal Sonic is revealed to have mostly blocked the attack with a purple shield.
"A shield that can protect itself from high-level attacks. That's going to be an issue." Izuku said.
Metal Sonic begins to go off at high speeds, so high that even Izuku is having trouble keeping up with it. A yellow energy surrounded the robot's body. By Izuku's assumptions and calculations, it looked to be some kind of electrical or laser attack. Either way, he had to find a way around it. He first attempts to use Blackwhip to keep him still, but Metal Sonic uses his claws to slash it. Immediately afterward he hit Izuku with the attack, causing good damage.
'Take it slow, Tenth.' Nana said.
"You know you guys can call me Izuku, right— AH!"
Izuku's Danger Sense goes off and dodges a deadly swipe from Metal Sonic. The robot attempts to go for the same attack again. This time, Izuku has an idea to counter it.
"Sixth, New World Order; "Anything within a six-foot radius will always be touched by me," Izuku spoke.
Metal Sonic suddenly felt itself grind to a halt. It didn't do that on purpose. Something or someone was slowing it down—
*BAM*
Izuku landed a flurry of 20% punches against Metal, without even being near him. Dropping both the rule and Gearshift, Izuku then latched two Blackwhips on the tower, squatting to gain some elasticity, and fired himself at the medicinal menace.
"One For All; 30%! Manchester! SMASH!!"
The kick sent shockwaves and the robot flew back into Eggman's room of operations. Izuku flew down and landed on the floor, shocked to see Metal Sonic still stand up despite the damage it has taken. Before Izuku could attack again, Eggman caught his attention.
"I must say, for a human, I'm impressed. Although you're not the average human." Eggman deduced.
Izuku panted lightly. "And as far as I can tell, I'm not in my world. You don't seem to have a Quirk at all unless your Quirk is immense intellect."
"Oh? A quirk? That would be a good way to describe your abilities. I'm going to have so much fun…"
Suddenly, Eggman revealed the same trap he had from earlier, heading for Izuku.
"…experimenting on you!"
Suddenly, a blue blur burst through the floor and smashed the device into pieces. Sonic and Amy landed on the ground and Tails followed suit.
"Noooo!! That was my last one!" Eggman yelled.
"Hold that thought, Egghead." Sonic held his palm up.
The hedgehog walked up to the boy and examined his details in quick succession. Green hair, freckles, a cool-looking costume, just an overall good vibe. With a smile, Sonic extends his hand out.
"I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog."
Izuku smiled. "I'm Izuku Midoriya. But back home I'm a superhero, so my hero name is Deku."
"Cool. Saw your bout with Metal. You got strength, kid. And some pretty strange abilities too. Never seen a human with those before." Sonic said.
"It's a long story, but I don't think we have the time for that. Defeat the villains first, long talk later." Izuku replied.
"Speaking my language! I like you already." Sonic smirked. "Tails?"
"Already on it, Sonic!" Tails began hacking away.
"And I've got Eggman…" Amy said, a fire in her eyes.
Eggman began to sweat. "W-Well now, can't we just— AHH!!"
Amy began chasing Eggman around with her hammer, which got a chuckle out of Izuku.
Metal Sonic flew and slashed at the two, but they jumped back and avoided the attack. Sonic lands a punch to the face at high speeds, while Izuku forms a sword with his Blackwhip while using One For All at 40% and slashes at Metal's stomach, tearing through his steel. Metal surges with electricity and extends it outward to take them both out in one fell swoop, but Izuku does something he honestly should've done earlier, but was too focused on figuring out the robot's abilities.
"Let me take it, Sonic!" Izuku shouted.
Sonic's eyes widened as Izuku jumped in front of the electrical current, taking it all. But something was different. Izuku didn't seem to be hurt. The sparks around him when he used his power grew more powerful.
"Not bad, Izuku! Let's keep up the pace!" Sonic said.
Speeding off, Sonic landed a kick on Metal. But the latter grabbed him by the leg and spun rapidly, throwing him away toward Izuku. But Izuku used Blackwhip and created a web across the room, which Sonic used as a way to bounce back and land a right hook back at the machine.
"Seriously, your powers are next level!" Sonic complimented.
"Thank you. On a more important note, would this thing happen to be immune to electricity? You seem to know more about it than me—given it looks like you." Izuku asked.
"Hmm. Not sure. Maybe if he got splashed with water." Sonic surmised.
"Not any water in sight. However, I have a plan. But keep him from using his shield." Izuku explained.
Izuku activates Fa Jin and uses Energy Formation again, creating a ball of energy in his hands. Metal Sonic senses what this is and almost activates his shield, but Sonic intercepts with his attacks, keeping Metal on his feet.
"New World Order; "This energy will have the properties of water," Izuku said.
Wrapping Metal Sonic with his Blackwhip, he throws the ball of energy and splashes Metal Sonic with it. Izuku smirks as he begins charging up, before yelling…
"One For All; Shock Surge!"
Using his stockpile of electricity, plus the additional he absorbed from Metal Sonic a bit ago, he unleashes a massive and powerful shock to the robot, which wrecks it from the inside out.
"Wow! I don't think I've seen Metal get this messed up in a while." Sonic commented.
Speaking of whom, the metal duplicate was still standing somehow. His damage was much more severe, but he just would not back down no matter what. Sonic and Izuku got in a stance to continue their bout.
Meanwhile, Tails was almost successful in hacking into Eggman's systems. And Amy was keeping Eggman at bay, as she should. However, she felt a kick to her face and was sent flying by… a Shadow Android!? It looked partially damaged, however.
"Hohoho! Did you think I didn't have any sort of backup plan in case things went south with Metal? And with Sonic and that boy occupied, you're not going anywhere." Eggman laughed.
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Amy shouted.
She charged in and swung her hammer, but the android was just too fast. She dodged a few of its attacks but was eventually brought to the floor quickly and easily. Tails tried to hurry, but he felt a weapon toward his head. A laser gun that Eggman had kept on his person for some time.
"Now, fox boy. Why don't you put down the device nice and slow?" Eggman asked sinisterly.
However, another window smash was heard, and this time it was Lanolin and Whisper who jumped in to save the day. Lanolin used her Wispon to send a vibration of sound that disrupted the Android's movements, while Whisper fired a laser that pierced it for good measure.
"Good news! Shadow and Omega are safe!" Lanolin said.
"Lanolin! Whisper!" Amy spoke gleefully.
"And it seems one of the few remaining Shadow Androids we found escaped up here." Whisper confirmed.
Eggman began to panic, as Metal Sonic was hit into a wall. Izuku came up behind and kicked him toward the ceiling. Sonic appeared above and spun rapidly, rapidly damaging Metal Sonic and smashing him into the ground; defeated.
"NO!!" Eggman yelled.
"I'm in the system!" Tails shouted.
Almost immediately all the systems were shut down, which means the Eggperial City is close to done.
"NO AGAIN!"
"Alright guys, think it's time we head out," Sonic said.
Everyone nods. Sonic grabs onto Tails as he flies out of the tower. Amy grabs onto Whisper, with the two floating down thanks to her Wispon. Lanolin was about to use her Wispon again, but…
"Hey, um, Lanolin, was your name?" Izuku asked.
Lanolin was taken aback but nodded.
"I have an ability that allows me to fly. Would you want me to help you down? Or do you think you got it from here?"
The sheep girl stood there for a moment, before walking over to him and letting him wrap an arm around her, while she wrapped her arms around him.
"Just be careful," Lanolin said.
Izuku nodded. "I will. Okay! Hang on tight!"
Izuku took off at decently high speeds and flew down with everybody else. Lanolin braced through the harsh force of the air, but she noticed that Izuku was trying his best to take most of the brunt for her. She didn't realize until now just how interested she was in this human. But first, taking out Eggperial City was the top priority. When they landed, they saw the rest of the group all up and ready to go. Izuku put Lanolin down once they touched the ground.
"Hey, boys and girls," Rouge said, but then spotted Izuku. "Who's the kid?"
"Long story, little time. We have to end it here and now." Sonic replied. "Where's Shadow?"
"On top over there." Silver pointed.
They all looked up and saw Shadow standing atop the mountain of green crystals, glowing an aura of the same color. He seemed to be drawing power from the fake emerald. Izuku watched on in amazement. However, Eggman's tower began to have a few red dots glow.
"I have worked too hard to let this city go! I WILL TAKE YOU APART!!" Eggman yelled.
Shadow raised his arms. "This city is a true monument to your hubris, Doctor. I'll show you the monster you've made!"
"CHAOS CONTROL!!"
Rising from the ground was even more of the Doctor's artificial emeralds. The black hedgehog drew even more power from them, his aura growing even bigger, larger, and stronger. Izuku's eyes couldn't help but gleam. So this was the power he heard and felt from earlier. Eggman kept firing, but then something occurred.
A… gigantic Sonic appeared!?
"What!? What is this!?" Eggman yelled, rapidly firing at the hedgehog.
Everyone around was confused. How did Sonic turn so huge!? What should they do!? Should they go and— Wait, Sonic is right next to them. So then who was that? That's when they all turned towards Izuku.
"New World Order; Glamour!" Izuku said, blowing a special mist. "That should keep him busy! It's time for a counterattack!"
Sonic just stood there smirking. "Alright, Izuku. With me!"
With no time to stand in awe, Sonic and Izuku together ran up together. Running up the emeralds and dodging any mechs that may be in their way. The rest of Sonic's friends began getting into position.
"Where'd you learn that?" Sonic asked.
"To quickly explain, this Quirk allows me to essentially manipulate reality and its rules. I essentially copied the ability one of my friends back home used!" Izuku said as he smashed a badnik.
Sonic homing attacked a bunch of robots in a row, before snapping his fingers in the air. "Reality warping, eh? Not the first time I've seen that."
"The power I was given is its own ability. It is where my strength comes from, plus the extra 7 different abilities dormant within it, including the one I just mentioned! It's a very special power! It's called One For All!" Izuku explained.
Sonic pondered as the two ran up, getting a good send-up by Blaze's fire. They reached even further heights with Silver's psychokinesis.
"One For All, huh? I get it. Like you're giving strength to others. I like it!" Sonic chuckled.
Izuku smiled as he flew up higher using Float, with Tails and Amy sending Sonic higher into the air using her hammer. Gripping Sonic's hand, Izuku takes them up even higher and higher. However, they then saw an army of flying badniks head towards them. Izuku looked and saw that the illusion was undone.
"You're not getting away!!" Eggman yelled.
Just then, Whisper and Lanolin sprung up and took the robots out with their Wispons.
"You two okay?" Lanolin asked.
Izuku and Sonic looked at each other and nodded back at her. Whisper grabbed onto Lanolin and floated the two down, as Izuku cocked his arm back. Sonic began spinning rapidly. 10%, 20%… 50% of One For All!
"We'll save everyone, with smiles on our faces!" Izuku yelled.
"Don't do it! Don't you DARE!" Eggman shouted.
"Sorry Doctor, but pleading doesn't suit ya!" Sonic said.
The two charged downward with all their light. The air blew through their faces, almost like they were experiencing gravitational force. Izuku took a deep breath, and from the depths of his vocals shouted…
"DETROIT SMAAAAASH!!"
Doctor Eggman growled and yelled, as his Eggperial City was a shadow of its former self. Izuku and Sonic landed and gave each other a high five. Izuku stumbled, however—he had overexerted himself too much. He attempted to stand himself up, and then a hand appeared to help him up.
"Here," Lanolin said.
Izuku blinked but smiled and took her hand. It made Izuku realize that she was decently strong herself. Helped him up with only one strong pull.
"Thank you very much," Izuku said.
Lanolin gave a light smile in return.
"Everyone move away. These emeralds will explode!" Shadow said.
He began charging a Chaos Control. And in the blink of an eye, he disappeared, along with all the fake emeralds. Everyone was about to worry, but Shadow appeared on the ground, and the emeralds exploded in the sky.
"Yes!" Silver, Tails, and Amy shouted.
Rouge smiled as she stood alongside Omega. Tangle gave Whisper a huge hug as a mini-celebration. And Sonic smiled about a job well done as always.
"Now, to address the big elephant in the room," Shadow said.
Everyone's heads tilted, but he then pointed toward the one who was out of place. Izuku Midoriya. The boy pointed at himself in confusion but then remembered; 'Oh wait. I'm in another world.'
"Who are you? And where did you come from?" Shadow asked.
This one moment—this one battle, was going to change a lot for not just Izuku, but for Sonic and his allies as well.
