Class 1-A was getting excited about planning their concert for the school festival. Mina wanted to help pick out costumes and choreography. Everyone was looking to Jiro to pick out what kind of music they should play.

Bakugo overheard some students from General Studies mock their class for putting on a concert for the school festival. They found it to be egotistical and dumb. They also called the Hero Course stupid as they got attacked by villains twice and all the other courses had to pay for their repercussions of that stupidity. That didn't sit well with Bakugo.

That night, back at the dorm, everyone gathered to discuss the concert. Danny said, "The school festival is one month away. We don't have much time. We should start making decisions right now."

Toru asked, "First, we need to pick out a song, right? What should we do?"

Oijiro sighed, "I don't know much about popular music, so I'll leave that up to you guys."

Kaminari asked, "If we're doing this for everyone, shouldn't it be a song that most people know, so they could dance and sing along with us?"

Sero said, "It's gotta be something with a good beat."

Jiro then spoke up, "With those things in mind, I think I know what would make sense. A hardcore four on the floor club song. It'll be like rave meets rock show. As for dance music, EDM would probably be the most popular. But you guys wanna play instruments, right? Anyone play bass or drums or anything?"

Danny raised his hand, "I can play guitar. But it's been a while. I think I can manage."

Jiro continued, "OK, we have one. Well, I'd say that drums are the backbone of any band. I'd take on the responsibility myself, but honestly, I main the guitar, not percussion. Teaching a beginner to play an instrument while practicing myself would be impossible to do in just one month."

Kaminari turned to Bakugo, "Hey! Didn't you accidentally admit your parents made you take music classes when you were a kid?"

Everyone was shocked to hear that. Sero said, "Awesome! Take a seat and show us what you got."

Bakugo growled, "In your dreams, moron."

Danny smirked, "Aww. Are the drums too hard for you, Bakugo?"

Bakugo got pissed, "Shut it, Fenton! I'll show you!" He went over to the drums and played an impressive drum solo. "Well?"

Everyone was shocked. Jiro said, "That was killer."

Danny smirked, "I figured he could do it. So Bakugo can be the drummer."

Bakugo stood up, "Huh. No way am I making a fool of myself up on that stage."

He started to walk off, but Jiro ran after him, "Bakugo, come on. Do it! If we rock this, everyone'll have a great time."

Bakugo countered, "Don't you get what's gonna happen? I'll spell it out for you. We're doing this because we wanna let the other courses blow off some steam, right? But we're the ones who caused their stress to begin with. So we're just trying to make ourselves feel better. This is gonna seem like a slap in the face from the people they can't stand."

Tenya sighed, "I see. Perhaps he's right. Did we think this through enough?"

Danny countered, "Dude, you didn't help us decide what to do, so you can't complain now."

Bakugo replied, "Doesn't all of this make you mad? It's not like we wanted the villains to show up and ruin things for everybody. Why do we have to be so concerned about how these weaklings feel? Stop trying to get on their good side! We're not here to make friends; we're here to fight! If we're gonna put on a show, then we can't hold anything back! Let's murder everyone in UA with killer music!"

Everyone cheered for Bakugo, although he still grumbled. Shoto said, "So that's it. At the summer training camp, Bakugo was kidnapped by the villains."

Tenya continued, "And ever since then, he's been carrying that burden with him."

Izuku sighed, "Poor Kacchan."

Danny said, "I get how he feels."

Toru went over and hugged Jiro, "Isn't this awesome, Jiro?"

Jiro nodded, "Yeah. I promise. I'll do my best."

Elsewhere in the nearby city, two criminals, Gentle Criminal and La Brava, were standing on a roof looking out. La Brava had a camera in her hands, pointed towards Gentle Criminal. She said, "Hey, Gentle, will you tell me now? What's our next move gonna be? I'm dying to know your brilliant plan!"

Gentle replied, "If history repeats itself, as it is wont to do, next month there will be a festival at a certain school with unrivaled security. An institution from which many of the most regaled heroes hail."

La Brava smiled, "Oh, don't tell me. Yes! I know the place!"

Gentle laughed, "If I show I'm capable of sneaking past their defenses, then I'm sure it will be a headline worthy caper. Mark my words."

Back at the dorms in UA, Momo said, "This might help. As part of my classical education, I've studied the piano since I was just a little girl. I'd be happy to play in the band if you need me."

Mina cheered, "Oh yeah! Momo'll totally rock those keyboards!"

Danny smiled, "That sounds great." Momo blushed a little.

Jiro said, "I mean, we've gotta have someone on synth for the dance music. I think you'd be perfect for the gig."

Momo smiled, "Then I'll do my best."

Mina sighed, "Aww, I wanted all the girls to get together for a big choero number, but you'll still look cute up on stage."

Jiro said, "Bass is my speciality, and Danny offered to play guitar, so we'll need a couple more guitars and vocals."

Oijiro replied, "OK. Does that mean everybody else will be dancing?"

Tenya thought for a moment, "I'm not sure this is enough to get the audience excited."

Shoto said, "In that video you showed us earlier, there were special effects. I think that's what we need."

Mina went over to the laptop, "Here, take a look. See, they use sparks and streamers, and a disco ball to fire everyone up! We gotta be extra to set the right mood!"

Toru gushed, "Ooh, let's pull out all the stops and make it look like an explosion of lights, you guys!"

Mina shouted, "With our Quirks, we can totally do that!"

Sato asked, "We're putting this party on in the gym, is that right?"

Tenya answered, "Yes. Mr. Aizawa has already made the arrangements for us."

Mina said, "Hold up. How's this for an idea? Uraraka makes Todoroki and Kirishima float. And then Kirishima chops away at Todoroki's ice and sends it flying. Then, Aoyama can be a mirror ball, and the light twinkling off him and the ice will make it look like it's raining stardust! And we can call them Team Snowmen!"

Kirishima shouted, "That sounds like an awesome plan!"

Ochaco said, "I can totally make them float."

Yuga said, "You want moi to be a disco ball? I was born to do this."

Momo smiled, "I can see it, the gym will look spectacular."

Danny nodded, "I agree. This is just what we all needed."

Toru said, "We'll have to have a crew working behind the scenes to pull this off, though."

Tsuyu raised her hand, "I have a question. Who will be singing? Isn't that the most important part?"

Ochaco said, "My vote is for Jiro to do it."

Yuga and Kirishima butted in, wanting to sing. They showed off their singing skills, but no one was impressed.

Toru said, "I'm with Ochaco. It's gotta be you, Jiro! When you were teaching us how to play instruments in your room, your singing was super cool! I know you'll bring down the house!"

Jiro replied, "Come on, it wasn't that great. Maybe we…."

Toru put a mic in Jiro's face, "Hey, look, a mic!"

Kirishima said, "Don't be shy, show us those pipes! We wanna hear you sing something!"

Jiro took a deep breath, then sang,

You know everyone wants to sparkle,

Like the stars in the night sky.

In this wondrous place filled with all the dreams,

I've been wishing for, waiting for the chance.

She looked at her classmates, who started to cheer for her.

Tenya said, "All right. I'd call this a unanimous decision."

Jiro replied, "OK, but maybe we can have another singer with me. A guy maybe?"

Momo spoke up, "Danny can sing with you while rocking out on the guitar."

Danny was shocked, "Wait, what? No, no, I can't sing."

Momo replied, "Yes you can. I've heard you singing to yourself. You sound great."

Toru put the mic in his face, "Come on, show us what you got."

Bakugo smirked, "Are you too chicken, Fenton?"

Fenton gave Bakugo a green glowed death glare, "Shut up. Fine, I'll sing a little something." He took a deep breath, then sang,

'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars,

I'm gonna give you my heart.

'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars,

'Cause you light up the path

I don't care, go on and tear me apart

I don't care if you do, ooh-ooh, ooh.

'Cause in a sky, 'cause in a sky full of stars

I think I saw you

Everyone looked at him shocked. Izuku shouted, "I vote for Danny!" Everyone else agreed.

Jiro smiled, "OK, Danny will join me on vocals. Now, we need two more guitars!"

Kaminari raised his hand, "Oh, yeah! Pick me! It's so cool to play instruments!"

Kirishima sighed, "I'd just break the strings."

Bakugo shouted at Kaminari, "Don't you dare volunteer unless you're gonna kill it, dimwit!"

Kaminari shouted back, "Yeah! I totally will!" He picked up a guitar and showed off his moves, impressing everyone. "The guitar is the star of every rock band."

Sato said, "I wanna be on the dance crew."

Oijiro agreed, "Me, too. I can move pretty well with my tail."

Sero said, "And I can use my tape to help with the special effects."

Everyone heard a guitar being played. They turned around to see Tokoyami rocking out.

Kirishima said, "It's like that riff is speaking directly to my heart."

Shoji asked, "You can play? Why didn't you say anything?"

Tokoyami answered, "I put down the axe when I was bested by the F chord."

Jiro shouted, "You're our bass!"

Everyone else picked what part of the team they wanted to join. Finally, a little after one in the morning, Tenya shouted, "That's it! Everybody's role in the festival has been decided. We've got the band team. And the effects team. And the dance team."

Danny chuckled, "OK, I think that's enough for tonight. We should all get to bed and rest up. We can start practicing tomorrow."

The next day, Izuku and Danny met with All Might in the teacher lounge. All Might said, "I heard what you guys are doing for the festival. Some kind of live performance combined with a dance party? That sounds like a good time."

Danny nodded, "Yeah, it'll take a lot of work to pull off."

Izuku added, "But that's one of the things I'm looking forward to."

All Might replied, "Well, with that in mind, why did you two want to meet? We haven't met since you found out Fenton's secret, Midoriya."

Izuku sighed, "During my work study, I was able to fight using 20 percent of One For All. It took a toll on my body, and I could only use it for a short period of time. But even at that level, I couldn't win. In fact, if Eri and Danny hadn't been there, I probably would have ended up dead. I couldn't do anything to counter Chisaki's long distance attacks. I've tried to think of a solution, but I don't know how I should fight in my current state, when I still can't use a hundred percent of my strength. I have to figure out something new."

Danny replied, "I'm sorry you feel that way. I feel like I only won because I used the Ring of Rage to help. That proves that I need to get stronger as well. Not just to be able to handle the ring for longer, but not to rely on it in a situation like with Chisaki."

All Might said, "Sounds like you're at a dead end."

Izuku nodded, "That's right."

All Might said, "There's only one thing I can suggest. You need your own long distance attack."

Izuku replied, "I wish I could harness enough power to pull off moves like you could, All Might. Or even you, Danny. But I'm not good enough yet."

Danny said, "It takes practice."

All Might also said, "I've been thinking about your progress. Analyzing the various ways you've grown. And I have an idea. But I think we should take this outside. Go change into your gym clothes. Fenton, change into your Phantom form. I'll meet you two out there."

Izuku changed into his gym clothes and Danny transformed into Phantom. They met All Might outside. Izuku asked, "You want me to use 20 percent here?"

All Might nodded, "Right! Just go Full Cowling!"

Izuku wasn't so sure, "But, like I said earlier, when I'm at 20 percent, it puts a lot of strain on my body and I end up not being able to move well. That's why I'm working hard to strengthen up right now."

All Might shouted, "So? Forget that and just do it!"

Phantom was shocked, "Chill out, dude."

Izuku replied, "Yes, sir." He activated One For All at 20 percent.

All Might said, "Now stay at this level and attack Phantom as if he was the enemy."

Phantom sighed, "You could have told me that before." He got into a defensive stance.

Izuku attacked Phantom with a kick, who caught it, causing a massive amount of wind pressure.

All Might said, "I was going to teach you this once you were able to use 15 percent without thinking about it, but it sounds like you need the lesson now. If you didn't figure this out in your last fight, you must have been concentrating really hard on your defense. You didn't realize you have the power to weaponize wind pressure without breaking yourself."

Izuku grunted, "But wait. It still feels like it's too much."

All Might said, "Let's take a look at the stages your training has gone through. First, use One For All at 100 percent on one part of your body. Second, control the percentage you use on one part of your body. Third, control the percentage you continuously use on your whole body. Fourth, use Shoot Style, which utilizes your legs rather than your weaker arms. Fifth, raise your control from 5 percent to 8 percent. Finally, sixth. Use up to 20 percent for a short amount of time, even if it's past your limit. And now, for today's lesson: How I used One For All."

Izuku realized, "You weren't continuously putting out 100 percent of your power, were you?"

All Might stood there, looking disappointed as he wanted to explain. Phantom held back a laugh.

Izuku continued, "If All Might was always at 100 percent, his every move would create shock waves and cause disaster everywhere he went. It doesn't make sense to constantly be at full power. Since I can't hold 20 percent for very long, I should combine the second and sixth lessons I learned. I'll control the percentage on one body part, and raise it to 20 percent for a split second. A focused blast! That could work!"

All Might said, "Easy to say, but you must be able to push past your normal limit in an instant. That requires a higher level of control than you've used so far. Which means, I have a question for you, Young Midoriya. What part of your body do you think you can move with the most precision?" Izuku thought for a moment, then motioned his fingers. "That's right. Practice controlling One For All using your fingers for this move."

Izuku did it with his fingers, but faltered a little. All Might said, "You won't get the hang of it right away, so be sure to keep at it, OK?"

Izuku smiled, "Thanks for the advice, sir. I've got it. I know what to do now."

All Might turned to Phantom, "Now it's your turn."

Phantom grinned, "Let's do this."
