Chapter 19: Cavalry Battle

Midnight explained more of the rules, there would teams of 2 to 4. The teams combined score would be on the headband. If the team loses the headband they're not out and they can still steal some more.

There was also this rule.

"Also water based attacks are against the rules for obvious reasons." Said Midnight.

Everyone but the Support Student understood.

And they had some time form teams.

Izuku wasn't sure what to do.

He was stand here unsure if anyone would join him.

It didn't help that Bakugo was surrounded/

"Hey! Let's Team Up!" said Ochaco.

"What! Really!" said Izuku as tears poured from his eyes .

Ochaco jumped away.

"Don't worry tears are considered warm water!" cried Izuku.

"How do you know?" asked Ochaco.

"My mom cries as much as that sometimes." Said Izuku.

"Ah…" said Ochaco.

"are you sure you want to team up? My points are too high." Said Izuku.

Meanwhile Tenya was considering things… he wasn't sure what he would do.

Tensei (his brother) had decided to take the day off and watch the Sports Festival, after all his brother was recently cursed. Of course he'd want to support his brother in such an event…

However Tenya despite his brother in the audience wasn't sure what to do… after all Izuku had beaten him… but at the same time…

"Iida!" said White Todoroki.

"What is it?" asked Iida.

"Will you join my team." Said White Todoroki.

And with that Iida made his decision.

"I decline your offer." Said Tenya.

"What?" asked White Todoroki.

"I'm sorry but for so many reason I can't team up with you." Said Tenya.

After all he was going to hold it to shared vow.

He noticed Kirishima, Mina and Shinso were all looking at him.

He knew what they were thinking… it was about the vow they made to make sure that Todoroki wouldn't win.

IT was because of that vow was far more important than showing off.

He then noticed that Izuku and Ochaco were walking towards him.

"Iida." Said Izuku.

"I will join your team." Said Iida.

And then Izuku started crying again.

"Sorry I didn't think you would ask." Said Izuku.

Iida just sweat dropped.

"Don't worry tears don't count as cold water!" said Izuku .

Iida just nodded.

"We need to figure out a fourth member." Said Izuku.

"Hey! 10 Million Points! I've been looking for you!" said the girl from support.

"Everyone was suspired by this.

"May I ask why." Said Iida suspiciously.

"Because all eyes will be on you of course!" said the girl, "And I get to show off my babies!"

"Babies?" asked Izuku confused.

That was when she opened some boxes she had with her for support items.

Izuku got all excited as she explained the various things she had and they chatted for a bit. She also introduced herself at Mei Hatsume.

"Okay…" sighed Izuku "I figured out our strategy."

"What is it?" asked Ochaco.

"First." Sighed Izuku, "I need cold water…"

Both Ochaco and Iida were surprised.

"I think it's best if I use my cursed form this one since Hatsume is better as a the rider." Said Izuku, "With everyone after me, I will be the main target, so I have to use my cursed form's strength."

"Oh… that's a good point." Said Iida.

"Okay that makes sense." Said Ochaco.

"Also we can't go on the defense first." Said Iida.

"Wait what?" asked Ochaco.

"You mean Todoroki." Said Izuku.

Iida nodded.

"He tries to approach me to join his team considering the vow we made to ensure he doesn't win…" said Iida.

Izuku noticed that there were three other teams, Shinso' was with his team which consisted of two members of their class (Ojiro and Aoyama) as well as a member of Class 1-B named Nirengeki Shoda, while Tetsutetsu was telling his team mates about going after Todoroki first while Kirishima and Mina had teamed up with Bakugo who seemed to scolding him to go after Todoroki first.

They went to Midnight to ask her and turned out Izuku was the only one who was given the okay to use cold water for the match (besides Todoroki of course).

"Of course you understand why you two don't have permission." Said Midnight.

"IT would hinder us." Agreed Iida.

"That extends to most… but with Kirishima and Tetsutetsu…" said Midnight.

They just sweat dropped.

Probably a bad idea to have giant cats participate in the event.

"Here you go." Said Midnight.

She handed him the bottle and he splashed himself turning into Izuku-Chan.

"What just happened?" asked Hatsume.

"It's a weird story." Said Izuku-Chan./

"Whatever." Said Hatsume.

And soon enough it got started with all of the teams formed.

However Monoma noticed Izuku-Chan.

"It's her!" said Monoma.

"What do you mean?" asked one of his team mates.

"Wait… isn't that Midoriya?" asked a boy with brown hair name Kosei Tsuburaba.

"Wait you mean his girl…" said Monoma, "Maybe this will be the perfect chance to win her over! I don't see Midoriya anywhere."

That was when Itsuka walked over.

"hey… you guys know that's Midoriya right?" she asked.

"Yeah… we do." Answered one of his teammates named Sen Kaibara.

"I've already tires talking to him about the curse and he's not going to listen" Said Itsuka.

The rest of his team just sweat dropped.

"All right!" called out Present Mic, "We're almost ready though there is a clarification we have to make."

Aizawa sighed.

"Midoriya felt victim to the villain Jusenkyo Jin, because of he is currently in his other form." Said Aizawa.

"So Midoriya and the blue haired girl are the same person!" explained Present Mic.

And so all of the teams were in their positions.

And once it began many teams headed to Team Hatsume.

However thanks to the combination of Iida's speed, Izuku-Chan's strength and Ochaco's quirk sometimes begin used they were a powerful combination.

Though they weren't using Ochaco's quirk at the moment to dodge.

However not all teams were going after Team Hatsume.

All of the teams that made the vow to make sure Todoroki didn't win all headed to Team Todoroki.

"Why are they after us!" yelled Kaminari who was part of the team.

White Todoroki didn't answer.

The other two team members who were Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami looked at each other.

Then the team had to dodge vines from Team Tetsutetsu, one of the team embers was Ibara Shiozaki a girl with vines for hair.

White Todoroki froze them.

However he then had to dodge tape from Team Bakugo as it was Sero was member as well.

White Todoroki also froze the tape.

But when he was distracted by that Team Hatsume ran by and grabbed team Todoroki's head band.

"God it!" said Hatsume pacing it on her neck.

However it was clear that the other teams were now as the team started to sink.

"Sorry but I want to win!" said Tetsutetsu.

It turned out his teammate Juzo Honenuki had a quirk that let him soften things.

However the team managed to blast out of the soften ground very quickly.

IT turned out Ochaco was wearing a pair of special boots and Hatsume was wearing a jet pack.

They soon landed.

"You okay Uraraka?" asked Izuku-Chan.

"Don't worry it wasn't too much!" said Ochaco.

Izuku-Chan nodded.

They noticed more teams going after them.

"Which way?" asked Tenya.

Thankfully Hatsume had a quirk to help with this, her eye lets her zoom in into things.

They turn in the direction only to smack into an invisible wall.

As Izuku-Chan was the lead horse she the one that smack into the wall.

"Ow!" she moaned.

"What happened?" asked Ochaco.

"It was my doing." Said Monoma.

They looked at his team, with Tsuburaba looking like he really didn't want to be there.

Izuku-Chan sighed.

"Once I steal your points! You will date me!" said Monoma.

"What!" yelled Ochaco and Iida.

"Not only will I free you from Midoriya! But I will defeat you and you have no choice but to date me!" said Monoma.

"He doesn't know about my curse." Sighed Izuku-Chan.

"How?" asked Ochaco.

"Because he's crazy." Answered Kaibara.

The other two team mates nodded in agreement the other was a boy with black skin and white hair named Shihai Kuroiro.

"What does that mean!" said Monoma.

"They're not into you." Muttered Kaibara.

Izuku-Chan's eye twitched summoned her quirk and she punched through the inviable wall… and created a large gust of wind thanks to the punch.

So much that effected the whole battlefield.

"WHAT THE FUCK DEKU!" yelled Bakugo.

"I'm not in the modo to dela with this right now! OKAY! So don't Kacchan!" yelled Izuku-Chan.

Bakugo's eye twitched.

"That guy is a creep, I can't blame Midoriya for acting like that." Said Sero.

"What?" asked Mina.

"Yeah that guy was being a creep to Midoriya like a week ago…" said Sero.

"So we better avoid the fight right now." Said Mina.

"There's some asshole we can go after." Said Bakugo.

At the same time Shinso's team was extremely confused.

"What happened?" asked Ojiro.

"Are we the in middle of the event?" asked Shoda.

"Oh my!" said Aoyama.

Shinso sighed.

"I should have known something like this would happen." He said face palming.

Back with Team Hatsume.

"We need to get their point." Said Izuku-Chan trying not to snap.

"There is no way you can my points!" said Monoma, "And when you do…"

That was when blew out a wall made out of air.

"I shouldn't have teamed up with him…" muttered Tsuburaba.

It was his quirk that Monoma was copying but Monoma was so focused on this that he didn't hear.

However Izuku-Chan managed to once again break the wall and they zoomed into grab the Headbands from Monoma (as Monoma earlier stole some points from some other teams beforehand).

"What no! How else am I going to win the blue haired angel!" yelled Monona.

The others weren't show how to respond.

"I don't think I want to pass to the next around anymore…" muttered Kaibara.

"Yeah I don't know either." Said Tsuburaba.

"Should we just give up?" asked Kuroiro.

Monoma however wat just ranting and raving clearly in his own little world.

However at the same time Team Todoroki decided to try to get as many points they could.

And managed to steal several.

"All right we're at the half way point so let's see the scores!" said Present Mic.

"Team Todoroki has a bunch of points!" yelled Mina.

"FUCK YEAH! Let's get them!" yelled Bakugo.

"Wait! Seriously why are they after our point! Said Kaminari.

White Todoroki just narrow his eyes.

That was when Bakugo launched himself at the team but Todoroki just made an ice wall and Bakugo crashed into it.

Sero used his tape to drag him back.

"As long as he doesn't rough the ground it's fine as the ice is a quirk construct it's fine." Said Midnight.

At the same Shinso finally had finished his explanation to his team.

"That is messed up." Said Ojiro.

"You could have just asked us…" said Shoda .

"Oui." Said Aoyama.

"Would have joined me if I have villains quirk?" asked Shinso.

"I have a tail." Said Ojiro.

"I don't want to say side effect." Sighed Aoyama.

Shinso just sighed.

Though Shoda because he had a pretty good quirk even if it was hard to figure out as a kid.

"Look I already made a vow against Todoroki so maybe we should steal some of his points." Said Shinso.

"Why?" asked Ojiro.

"I know about his curse ." said Shinso, "And why he's separating himself from his other half."

"Oh yeah… that's kind of messed up." Said Ojiro .

Shinso nodded.

"Maybe if you use his quirk on him we'll forgive you." Said Shoda.

Shinso was about to say something but then realized.

"That should have been strategy the whole time." He muttered .

And it was with that Shinso came up with a strategy .

He had his team run over to Team Todoroki.

"Hey Todoroki! Does your team know your daddy issues are holding you back!" called out Shinso.

"Don't you…" said White Todoroki.

But then he froze.

"Freeze your teams feet to the ground then toss your pointed to me." Said Shinso.

White Todoroki used his quirk to freeze the rest of the teams feet to the ground then grabbed his points and tossed them over to as his team yelled at him.

"It must be his quirk!" said Yaoyorozu.

Shinso caught the point and then told Todoroki "Now punch yourself in the face."

White Todoroki did so, very hard in fact.

At the same time in the stands, Red Todoroki touched his face.

"What was that?" he thought.

Back in the field White Todoroki had snapped out of it.

"What just happened man!" said Kaminari.

"I don't know…" said White Todoroki.

"Do you need warm water because I don't know I can make something that can melt this ice fast enough without endangering our lives." Said Yaoyorozu.

"No…" said White Todoroki.

"I think I might be able to get us out the ice." Said Dark Shadow, "But it will take a few."

"Then we can strategize." Said Todoroki.

However Both Kaminari and Tokoyami weren't sure if they wanted to strategize.

However Yaoyorozu knew she had to try.

Several more team tries to steal Team Hatsume's headband, but it was very hard thanks to the power of the team.

And soon there was less than a minute left.

"Turns out a strategy was set by Team Todoroki to try to get Team Hatsume's points last minute.

Team Todoroki ran a fast as they could to the team and created a massive ice dome to present them from either escaping.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!" yelled Bakugo form outside the dome.

At the same time Shinso looked at Team Tetsutetsu.

"Should we?" asked Shoda.

"I think it will work." Said Shinso.

He called out.

"Hey! How is like being cursed!" yelled Shinso to Tetsutetsu.

"Hey come…" said Tetsutetsu.

However much like White Todoroki he was in a trance.

However he quickly snapped out of it.

"What did you just do!" yelled Tetsutetsu.

"How did you snape out of it so fast." Said Shinso.

"It was Shinozaki's hair." Said Shoda.

Shinso looked at Shiozaki and her vine like hair was indeed quite thorny.

IT was clear that a fight going to go down between the two teams.

Inside the dome, Yaoyorozu created a smoke bomb.

It distracted the whole team.

Only for Dark Shadow to grab the headband .

Todoroki wisely put around his neck.

That was when the dome was blown up by Bakugo.

However Present Mic started a countdown.

"You bastard!" yelled Bakugo.

However in the end Bakugo fell the ground and Team Hatsume was disoriented due to the smoke.

However Team Todoroki only stole the 10 Million pointed, not the points they had around their necks.

"All right the top four teams that will move on to the next match." Said Present Mic, "Team Todoroki! Team Bakugo in second! Team Midoriya in third!"

Izuku-Chan breathed a sigh of relief as thanks to stealing from Monoma and Todoroki they were still in third place.

"And in fourth is team… well this awkward…" said Present Mic.

It turned out Team Shinso and Team Tetsutetsu were in a tug of war with the head and form both teams.

"All right! I will let Midnight figure out where the points stand." Said Present Mic, "Now we'll take a break for lunch!"

"At least thank you guys I was able to show off my babies!" said Hatsume, "And I'll be able to show more."

"At least we got in!" said Ochaco.

"Yeah." Said Izuku-Chan, "I need to get some hot water…"

"Of course." Said Ochaco.

Izuku-Chan walked passed Team Todoroki as she headed to Midnight.

The rest of the team was scolding White Todoroki.

"What is going on!" said Kaminari .

"You were targeted!" said Yaoyorozu.

"I don't know… but I have a theory." Said Todoroki.

Izuku-Chan sighed but decided to join her friends for lunch and not worry about Todoroki at all.

She figured that his name noticed the targeting.

Still they had to make sure that Todoroki didn't win. And most of those part of the view were in the tournament…

They weren't sure about Shinso or Tetsutetsu yet.

Next Time: The class enjoys a little break in-between the events for lunch and other things. Both Todrokis explain their past to their team while Mineta debates whether or not he should prank the girls. What will happen? Find out next time!
