Chapter 13 From A World so Far

The fallowing day, things went as how Jacob had gotten a bit accustomed too, Wake up, breakfast, see Bluey and Bingo off to school and spend the first bit of the day trying to help around the house with one of the Adult heelers. however today the Human boy had one thing on his mind...He had to tell them

But he wanted to wait, until he could inform Both Chili and Bandit about what he needed to explain, tell the both of them together and , that they didn't see him as crazy for what he ,he was still trying to wrap around his own mind, the whole thing felt too far fetched himself But..he couldn't just let it slip by it any longer, if he was to ever find a way to return home, this would be important.

He spent most of his time building up the ability to step forward and explain things to the Heelers, he waited until after Bluey and Bingo had returned from school that day, still waiting for a proper time to do so. he was asked to play some gamed by the two young pups..But he remained distracted by his own thoughts..it was finally a couple hours before Dinner did he decide he was going to bring it up..

In the Playroom

" Now, that will be 5000 Dollar buck " Bluey said with a professional tone.

" Aww, but, I don't have that many Moneys " Bingo said in a pout.

" Then you can't buy this super cool teddy " Bluey said pulling the stuffed animal Bing was holding and placing it next to her, " Next costumer please! " Bluey shouted...Next costumer!..Hey I said next customer? "

Jacob stood behind Bingo, though looking lost in thought,

" Hey, are you going to buy something? " Bluey spoke from behind the makeshift counter that has been set up for their game.

" Hmm? Oh, sorry, I uh, want to buy this..." Jacob's voice trailed off a bit as the thoughts of what he was planning came back into his head.

" Um, what? " Bluey said curiously as Jacob looked at her, then at the random toy he had picked up for the game, but sighed.." Um, listen Bluey, I need...I need to time out for a moment " he said much to the confusion of the pups.

" Aww, but, we haven't finished playing toy shop yet " Bluey spoke

" I know, but, this is important, I have...I have to go do something " he said sighing " I'll be back I promise " he said setting down his toy as he began to exit the room, much to the confusion of the young Blue Heeler, but just as he was Exited rom Bingo had dug into the toy box.

" Hey! look I found Chattermax! how'd he get at the bottom of the toy Box?"

Jacob sighed, as he approached the kitchen peeking inside to see Bandit and Chili getting things set for Dinner. he stood back out as he thought to himself.

" This is crazy, how can I tell them this "

He peered back into the kitchen and shook his head " I'm out of my mind..here I go "

Jacob entered the Room now in a almost awkward motion as both the Heelers continued about their buisness.

Jacob awkwardly fumbled with his fingers for a moment before he quickly approached the table where bandit was sitting not currently on his phone, but this little motion got their attention as Bandit put his phone down.

" Oh, hey mate, what's up? " He spoke in a friendly manner. Chili continued to place some pots on the counter noticing him too.

" I-I have something I..need to tell you guys " Jacob said which both got their attention now

" Oh, what is it? is everything okay?" Chili said with mix of curiosity and slight concern, Bandit too was all ears now..

So far it was going smoother then Jacob had expected, but he still hadn't said what he was afraid of..

"Well it's just..it's just about, my situation " He replied, prompting Both the Heelers to share a glance.

" Oh, and what is it? " Chili asked again. as she went over to stand near Bandit , Jacob rubbed his arm before he continued..

" So, what I'm about to say...might sound really crazy " he awkwardly said, Both the Heelers looked at him curiously more now,

" Yeah, and..what is it? " Bandit said arching a brow.

" you can tell us Jacob, go ahead " Chili added.

Jacob prepared himself shutting his eyes " Okay, I think, I think that I'm, from, from a.." Jacob stuttered his voice tripping over itself as he tried to get his words out, Both the Heelers sat their attention not leaving him once, not once, quite intent on hearing what the boy was going to say...Jacob stopped himself for a moment before he took in another deep breath.

" I'mfromanotherworld!" He finally blurted out before placing his hand on his forehead.

" Uuh, come again mate?" Bandit said arching a brow.

Jacob rubbed both hands through his hair before he spoke again " I think I'm from another world, another universe! planet, whatever you want to call it !" He spoke again letting his hands drop to his sides. both Bandit and Chili starred blankly for a moment almost looking very shocked and surprised by this. Jacob felt his cheeks burn and his heart race, just fearing what they'd say to him,

Both the Heelers seemed to have a slight stunned expressions, Chili looked like she was about to speak up but before she could Jacob interrupted her.

" P-please, I know it sounds insane, and it probably is, but, I swear this is what's going on! " He spoke in quick paced manner.

" Jacob-" Chili was about to speak up before the boy interrupted her again.

" This is not easy for me to be saying! but it's what I need to tell you! I somehow ended up in this world you guys live in." he explained sounding a bit more high strung now.

" Jacob please Ju-" Chili attempted again but the human boy spoke over her once more.

" I am not jumping to conclusion's, I don't want to sound insane but this is reality! "

Chili glanced at Bandit for a quick moment before she stood up and approached the boy, Jacob quickly tensed up for a moment caught off guard by her approached and instantly remained silent.

Chili Gently placed a hand on his shoulder and looked into him with a none aggressive look, but but a slight firm and yet soft look.

" Jacob, honey, it's okay, just take a moment, relax " she spoke in a calm yet firm manner " just take a deep breath, can you do that? " she said as the boy look at her for a moment before sighing, and nodded his head.

" Alright, let us have one then shall we " she said still speaking calmly, Jacob sighed and took another deep breath before exhaling

" There we are, doesn't that feel better " she spoke calmly to him again before standing back now next to Bandit.

" S-sorry about that " Jacob said awkwardly

" It's okay ,now, lets just take this a bit slower..Alright? " Chili said as Jacob nodded his head again." Now explain this again, you said you were from wear? "

Jacob rubbed his arms glancing awkwardly down at his shoes " I said, I think I'm from another world, like a different Dimension if you will " he said again this time simply waiting for the Heelers to respond.

" Another world? like from outer space? " Bandit spoke up now.

" I mean, maybe, kinda? listen, I'm not sure how to exactly explain it, I'm not sure if it's the truth but it makes sense in some ways to me. like when I said I woke up here in you're backyard? and talked about a green flashing light before I did? It's because what ever that green light I mentioned I saw, I think it's the reason I was sent to this place. this...world of Dogfolks "

Bandit and Chili exchanged looks for a brief moment.

" So what..you are trying to say is you were transported hear across space or Dimensions? " Bandit said. as Jacob gave a shrug.

" I mean, yes, if that is logical, but it explains why you guys never seen or heard of a human before, and why this place is run by, Dogfolk, something I never seen or heard of before, the world I'm from is run by humans" Jacob said rubbing his head.

Bandit and Chili remained silent for a brief moment as they looked at each other,then Chili spoke back up.

" Jacob, I know this is a lot to let out or take in, " She spoke " I mean this..this is really a lot to fathom,"

" Do..you believe me? " Jacob asked.

" Well, I mean..it is quite a lot to take in, but...well, we have to tell you one thing ourselves. " she said as the Human listened on with some anticipation.

" We actually, were going to suggest something similar to you " Chili admitted with a slightly sheepish look. Jacob's eyes widen at this now..

" What? you mean..you knew!? " Jacob replained puzzled

" Well wouldn't say we knew mate, but we were just going to bring up the possibility of it, and well you beat us to it. " Bandit explained with another Sheepish look of his own. Jacob was about to respond to it when...

" You really are an Alien then!" a voice rang out from behind them, everyone's attention was caught at the Doorway where Bluey and Bingo having been listening to the conversation.

" Bluey.." Bandit spoke up as the young Heeler pup raced into the room standing near her parents but not taking her eyes off of the human, Bingo fallowed suit but seemed to be a bit more unsure, not keeping her eyes of Jacob.

" I just heard you, you said you were from another world! " Bluey pointed a finger at Jacoob " I asked if you were an Alien when I first met you " the Blue pup spoke.

" Bluey! " Chili said a bit firmly as Jacob then spoke up.

" N-no it's okay.." Jacob sighed " I guess that's what I can be considered..an Alien, from another world " he said softly as he closed his eyes.

" Now hold on, I think we need to just take a moment to figure this out " Chili said " Jacob, do you really think you're from..another world? "

Jacob stared down for a moment before he spoke again " I, I mean I'm sure I am, none of this makes sense to me any other way " he said gesturing around " nothing else can explain this situation I am in, I hope you get it, I don't know what else to say or think on it "

There was a moment of silence before Bandit then spoke" Well " he said scratching the back of his ear " what I'm realizing now mate, is, you're a lot further away from home then we all thought " he gave a sheepish look.

" So you're not really from Canada? " Bluey spoke up now as Bingo stood back a bit next to Chili. clearly still trying to process what was happening now.

" N-no I am, I mean, I'm from my world's version of Canada " He said shaking his head realizing how everything was still so similar yet so different from his world " Man, this must be what people are calling the Mandela effect."

" The what effect? " Bandit said sounding a bit confused..

" Never mind.. " Jacob said shaking his head " The thing is, what ever it was that brought me here, it dropped me off in you're world, I don't know why it did, or how, but it did "

" The, green light you mentioned before ? " Chili asked to which Jacob nodded his head.

" Yes, that..what ever it was, " Jacob thought back for a moment...seeing the green flashes in his eyes..." I experienced when I was. in the Outback " Jacob nodded.

" That's right, you mentioned being separated from you're parents? " Chili spoke with a bit of concern, some empathy Jacob shut his eyes and nodded.

" Yeah..." he sighed in a heavy tone " Me and my folks were touring the outback, when we stopped for a bit, I went to go explore some of the areas to take pictures...And because of that, I became lost."the boy began to explain. " I couldn't find my parents.." he said rubbing one of his bandaged arms.." so all I did was Search, looking for a way to get help, any source of refugee I could take out there, find my...parents, a town, anything ...but instead I found..it"

Jacob walked over to the window staring out at it for a moment, he figured, now was the time, the time to explain to them just how exactly it went before he ended up here...most of it anyway...

He turned back to face them," This is what happened..." he explained as he thought back to that time.

Jacob staggered through the outback, night had fallen and it draped the sky in a blanket of stars, he was not sure how many days he had been wondering it, 2 or 3 he guessed, but it felt like forever, either way it had proven to be taking it's toll on him. he had run out of water now..and had dropped his water empty water bottle sense then, so he walked on, bruised and feeling dehydrated staring up at the sky, wincing as he did.

" gotta keep, moving, can't stop " he told himself over and over as he pushed himself forward, before he found himself unable to keep trekking forward, he rested himself against a large rock for a moment breathing heavily. He glanced around seeming to ensure he was alone..

he rubbed one of his cuts and scrapes he had accommodated on his arm, he winced as he slowly slid to the ground now..just needing to rest, just needing a moment to stop.

But he knew if he stopped for too long, he'd put himself in a vulnerable position, knowing that something could be lurking out here to prey on a injured Human as as himself, Dingos, snakes? he seen them and was lucky to avoid up close encounters them thus far, but knew that it was because of trying to flee them it was the reason he had ended up so badly beaten..but at least alive.

He rested his back back against the large boulder for a moment before he shut his eyes..maybe just..a rest..a quick rest?

Flash!*

Jacob winced as he tried to get some quick shut eye, only to have what felt like a light glow flash over his face, he tried to ignore it as he rest but then there was another one...*Flash!*

Jacob opened his eyes now, confused as to where the source of light was coming from, wait..a Light source? Light! possible Help!

Jacob sat forward now as he began to frantically dart his eyes around for where ever the light had come from. he eyes were met with the darkened scape of the Outback..but he kept his eyes peeled...he waited, but didn't see any source of a light..had he imagined it?

Flash*

Jacob's eyes widen as he was met with another flash of light, green, and he could see where it had come from, just a little bit aways from where he rested.

" H-help?, it's gotta be people " he said his quietly as he staggered up to his feet.

He approached the direction of the glowing light before him...panting heavily as he fallowed the flashes, and as he grew closer, he could see the source of light was becoming more sted, lingering longer...it was just a few more feet away...the young boy approached the light,

And when he did he was taken aback at what he saw, there was no people, no one around. in fact..there was just the Light itself.. the green light glowing like a dim star of sorts, it's bottem touching down into the ground, and into a slight incline of the earth..like a big pothole almost.

Jacob looked up at it, it must have been over 20 feet tall yet there seemed to be no source for it anywhere.. he just stood there un utter confusion. Where did this light come from and why was it out here in the outback? he couldn't comprehend it..but he did notice the light seemed to be slightly swirling and pulsing almost and a slight fizzing sound seemed to accompany it. it didn't look like any natural light he'd ever seen.

Jacob leaned forward a bit trying to get a better look at the light. it wasn't nearly as bright as he would have thought, but he had to squint to stare directly at it...but as he was, that's when suddenly he felt the ground shift underneath him as the dirt loosened up falling into the incline toward the light, his caused him to tumble forward, he let out a shout and grunt a into the incline, but luckily he managed to stop himself from sliding down further , he pushed his hands into the ground, it hurt, but it did stop him...save for one thing, his Camara..it fell out of his pocket he had briefly fallen, now it continued too roll down the incline and straight into the light! disappearing from sight.

" Oh man " Jacob said having lost his Camara but relived he saved himself. the boy pulled himself up into a sitting position before he stared at the strange light some more..looking at it for a minute trying to process what exactly it could be. before suddenly the Light flickered a bit going out for a moment before it shined on again, this startled the boy who blinked watching the light again, then it suddenly flickered out again before shingling back on..almost like a light bulb about to go out..

Now feeling more uneasy by his discovery Jacob figured it was time he left what ever this was alone now..he turned around ready to crawl back up the rocky incline. as the Light behind him began to flash off and on some more..like it was going to die out any moment. just as Jacob was about to climb out...he suddenly felt the a loose rock under him dislodge under his weight, he lost his balance as the ground under him caved in and he fell back rolling down the incline again, but this time unable to stop himself, he fell back until he hit it...the Light, falling right into it like his Camara had, becoming absorbed by it from all over! inside it was brighter and almost blinding him! he shielded his eyes as he felt a strange sensation all over him he suddenly felt weightless and like he was traveling at a fast speed!

That was the last thing he remembered before he lost all his senses...and blacking out...

That's when he began to hear voices...

" What's wrong Bluey, what do you see? "

Jacob now sat there in one of the chairs, twiddling his fingers as he did " The next thing that happened was...I woke up in you're backyard..with Bluey and Bingo looking down at me " He said..

Once Jacob had finished he remained quiet, There was a moment of silence in the room, as if everyone was letting all this new info set in, processing it the best they could, clearly it was a lot to understand..

" So...you were transported here by, what ever that light was then? " Bandit was finally the first to speak up with a thoughtful look, " That's really something, I never heard of such a thing "

Jacob tapped his finger on the table before speaking again " I can't explain what it was, but it is what I experienced, and what led to me waking up here " Jacob sighed

" And the fact You really were lost out there, in the outback, you're worlds Outback?, that is no place for anyone to have to survive in, specially someone who is just a kid" Chili said shaking her head " You were very lucky to get through it"

" Sooo, if you are from another world, how will you get back? " Bluey said now curious.

" You're really from another world for real life? " Bingo spoke up now looking a bit unsure by this news..

Jacob looked at her feeling her uneasiness from this and suddenly felt a bit bad.

" Well, yes, that seems to be the case " He said.

Chili seemed to notice Bingos demeanor " It's okay honey, it's still Jacob , the one who you played with, nothings changed " she said as Bingo glanced over at Jacob for a moment But gave a seemingly understanding nod.

" So...you all heard it now, you're in the presence of a boy from another world " Jacob said " Not sure if this helps my case but at least you know, but I understand if you don't beleive it" he said placing his hands into his head.

" No no, it, it's a good thing we learned this" Bandit spoke before almost putting on a determined look " it's a step closer to figuring out what we can do to figure out how to get you back home " Bandit said with a firm look " were gonna get you through this "

Chili nodded her head as well " That's right, what ever this all is, we are gonna solve it, we promise."

" I think it's actually pretty neat if you're from another world!" Bluey exclaimed, her eyes curiously observing the boy in a new light.

Jacob looked at everyone and nodded, still feeling that certainty in their voices.

" Well It also explains why you were so panicked , when we first met you " Bandit said with a awkward look.

Jacob felt himself flush as he rubbed his neck" Well, if you woke up in a strange place see beings you never seen before looking at you, I'm pretty sure you'd be a little freaked out yourself " Jacob spoke. " But, you guys have really been great, for the short time I had known you..thanks for helping me " Jacob sheepishly said, this prompted a small bit of chuckles from everyone.

" We will get this situated Jacob..somehow" Bandit replied, the Boy remained silent knowing that when ever that be, his time here was going to be interesting either way, he just needed to know what is his next step he needs to take, to reach a home that was so far away...

Note: wow, that was another big one! but very important, the secret is out, The Heelers now have an E.T boy among them, what will this mean, how will it help them figure out what to for Jacob and finding a way for him to go home? what else can be revealed?
