Thank you, guys, for reading Chapter 1 of The Story of Jinjing 3.

SpiritChannelerJosh: Thank you! We will get to see Dongmei and Longwei soon in the story.

Rhe9-2verine: Thank you! I'm glad that you're enjoying it so far. I love the idea of Shan so far. I will provide more information about Shan. I love the inspiration of the OC. Flynn Rider from Disney's Tangled (2010) was inspired by Aladdin from Disney's Aladdin and Robin Hood from Disney's Robin Hood. Have you watched Tangled, Aladdin, and Robin Hood? The movies are really good. I will give you credit for giving me the idea for Shan when I get to write The Story of Jinjing 4.

Over the summer, I finished Nickelodeon's Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. The show was so great! There's more to Kung Fu Panda than we all thought.

I'm currently watching Marvel's Agents of SHIELD season 4, the show is getting good so far. Ghost Rider is cool. He's my favorite season 4 character. I'm almost finished with season 2 of The Walking Dead.

I'm so sorry that it took me so long to write this. I was very busy doing other stuff. I'm so sorry.

Here's Chapter 2. Enjoy!

Chapter 2

The next morning, Jinjing went to the scroll room to learn more about seeing the future. As she went through the scrolls, she groaned in frustration. "Why can't I find anything in there?"

The female red panda was about to leave the room until something caught her eye. A rare purple scroll titled The Seer Chronicles: Unveiling the Future, right next to the green scroll.

"Yes!" She picks up the purple scroll, jumps down from the shelves, opens the case, sits down on the floor, opens the scroll, and begins to read it:

"A long time ago, in a time long forgotten, nestled in the heart of the Valley of Peace, there lay the village of Phoenix Peak. This tranquil haven was renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and the harmonious lives of its inhabitants. Yet, amidst the serene beauty, a deep-rooted legend whispered of an extraordinary warrior—one who bore the gift of foresight, destined to protect the village from shadows lurking just beyond the horizon.

Her name was Yi-Lin, a name spoken with reverence and awe. As a child, she often wandered into the sacred Phoenix Ember Hollow, a mystical cave known to be blessed by the Spirit of the Phoenix. It was within these hallowed walls that Yi-Lin first glimpsed her extraordinary abilities. As she meditated, the flickering flame of the cave ignited visions of the future, revealing glimpses of what was yet to come.

At first, these visions were fleeting—a flicker of light here, a shadow there. But as Yi-Lin honed her skills, her insights deepened. She diligently studied ancient scrolls, uncovered tales of seers who came before her, each entrusted with the sacred duty of protecting their people during turbulent times. Yi-Lin's heart swelled with purpose as she embraced her calling, knowing that her gift was not merely for her own enlightenment but a sacred responsibility to safeguard those she loved.

Yet with great power came an immerse burden. Yi-Lin soon learned that knowing the future was not always a blessing. Her visions revealed dark omens—forewarnings of threats to her village. The weight of her knowledge pressed heavily upon her should, yet she remained resolute. With unwavering determination, she began to record her insights, crafting a scroll that encapsulated her visions and the wisdom she had gathered.

One fateful day, while meditating in the glow of the Phoenix Ember Hollow, Yi-Lin experienced a vision that chilled her to the core. An evil warrior, Lianhua, was rising in the East. Skilled in dark magic and necromancy, she sought to conquer Phoenix Peak, her eyes set on seizing the power of the Spirit of the Phoenix. Lianhua's ambition was clear: to harness the spirits of the deceased and bend them to her will, ensuring her reign of terror over the valley.

Understanding the gravity of her foresight, Yi-Lin rallied her fellow villagers, sharing the dire news and urging them to prepare for the impending storm. Together, they trained in the ancient arts of combat, drawing strength from one another. Yi-Lin stood at the forefront, leading her people with a fierce heart and unwavering spirit, inspiring courage in all who followed her.

As the day reckoning approached, Lianhua's forces descended upon Phoenix Peak, casting a shadow of dread over the village. The clash of steel rang out as the two sides met in a tumultuous battle. Yi-Lin fought valiantly, her every move fueled by the visions that guided her, but the enemy was relentless. As she battled, she gelt the ominous pull of Lianhua's dark magic—a reminder of the looming threat that still sought to crush her home.

In the midst of the chaos, Yi-Lin foresaw that true victory would require the ultimate sacrifice. She realized that to protect her beloved village and the line of seers, she must bind her life force to the Spirit of the Phoenix. With a heavy heart but a determined spirit, Yi-Lin made her choice. In a moment of profound bravery, she channeled her energy, intertwining her fate with the spirit that had guided her. A radiant barrier erupted around Phoenix Peak, shimmering with the essence of her sacrifice, repelling Lianhua and her dark forces.

Though victorious, Yi-Lin knew that her journey did not end there. As her spirit ascended to join the Spirit of the Phoenix, she understood that the legacy of the seers must continue. Before her final breath, she inscribed the last words of her scroll, leaving behind a message of hope and guidance for those who would follow in her footsteps.

Thus, the tale of Yi-Lin and her unwavering courage became enshrined in the scroll known as The Seers of Chronicle: Unveiling the Future. Within its pages lay the wisdom of a brave warrior who had faced darkness and triumphed, a beacon of hope for future generations.

And within the scroll, a prophecy echoed, whispered by the winds of time:

"In a time of darkness, a light shall arise,
A crystal heart bound by fate's ties.
The guardian of visions, with courage so true,
Shall face the shadows, with the strength of the few.
From the ashes of loss, a new legacy will soar,
A seer to protect, and open the door.
When the Spirit of the Phoenix calls once more,
The Chosen shall rise to settle the score. [1]"

As Jinjing finished reading the scroll, she felt a mix of emotions swirl within her. The tale of Yi-Lin's bravery and sacrifice resonated deeply, igniting a fire in her heart. As the last words of the scroll echoed in her mind, Jinjing pondered her newfound abilities and the responsibilities that might come with them. What if she was destined for something greater? The idea both thrilled her and terrified her.

With the scroll carefully tucked under her arm, Jinjing decided she needed to share her thoughts with someone who would understand. Perhaps Uncle Shifu could offer valuable guidance on the journey that lies ahead. With determination, she made her way out of the scroll room and towards the outside of the Training Hall, hoping to catch him before he started the day's lesson.

As she approached, the lively chatter echoed around her. She stopped at the door and glanced inside. There stood Po and the Furious Five, Po lands in a pose, but the Five casually stand by. Tigress looks lazily at her paws. Crane inspects his wing.

"You guys aren't doing the dramatic pose, aren't you?" Po questioned.

Mantis rolls his eyes. "Do we have to strike a pose, every time we land?"

"You guys, never underestimate the power of a dramatic entrance! I've heard about some masters who could win a fight just by throwing open a door," Po answered as he walked up to the Training Hall entrance, striking a pose at every step of the way. He prepares to open the door, recoiling his leg. However, when he goes to kick open the door, his leg stops in front of a stoic Shifu's face, almost hitting him. Shifu's ears blowback and from the wind.

"Dramatic exit?" Shifu asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Master Shifu!" Po meekly replied.

"The Dragon Warrior is correct," Shifu stated as he closes the doors to the Training Hall.

"What?" a confused Jinjing questions her uncle.

"Really? I was just making… Yeah! I mean, yeah, I am," Po said.

"Uh-huh, sure,"

"Before the battle of the fist, comes the battle of the mind. Hence, the dramatic entrance," Shifu explained. Shifu kicks the door, leaps forward, and thrusts his staff in the air. From above, Jade Palace archers receive Shifu's signal and proceed to shoot flaming arrows at large pots. The room lights up immediately.

Jinjing politely claps her paws.

"Whoa, nice dramatic entrance! What's the occasion?" an impressed Po said.

"Today will be my final class," Shifu answers.

Po, Jinjing, and the Furious Five became worried.

"Your final?... Wait, I didn't know you were sick. Although, you have been looking a little—" Po says.

Jinjing was breathing heavily, uneasy. "Are you dying?"

"I'm not sick and I'm not dying," Shifu assures as he pushes Po away with his staff.

"Healthy. A little healthy. A lot actually," Po finished.

Shifu facepalms his face and sighs. "My final class because from now on, your training will be in the hands of the Dragon Warrior," Shifu explains as he brings his staff and it comes to rest on Po's stomach.

The Five look at each other in confusion. Jinjing gasps in shock.

Po nods and smiles as he looks behind Jinjing and the Five. Eventually, his face turns frightful in realization. "WHAT?!" Po exclaimed in panic, knocking Shifu back with his voice. He steps close to Shifu's ear. "Me? Teach? I mean, why not Tigress? She's always telling everyone what to do. Or what about Jinjing? She knows this stuff better than anyone, she'll make a great teacher. I mean, she grew up there,"

"Be quiet, Po," Tigress ordered.

"Hey, just because I grew up at the Jade Palace and I know everything there's to know about Kung Fu, doesn't mean that Shifu didn't pick me to teach you guys," Jinjing pointed out.

"See what I mean," Po gestured.

"Tigress is not the Dragon Warrior, neither is Jinjing. You are," Shifu reminded the panda.

"What? Me? The Dragon Warrior?" Po asks.

"Yes,"

Po's expression shifted from disbelief to determination. "Come on, they're the Five! Jinjing is your niece, she's a kung fu prodigy! What can I teach them?" he pleaded, glancing around at the assembled fighters.

Suddenly Shifu reappears behind Po. "There is always something to learn, even for a master. For instance, let me show you another move…. The dramatic exit." Shifu said as he twirled his staff and pointed it at the roof. "What's that?" Shifu then quickly leaves the room and closes the door.

"Whoa! Are you kidding me? That… What? Where'd he go?" Po said, his eyes wide with fascination, scanning the room for any sign of the vanished figure. Jinjing shook her head while the Five appeared stunned by Po's stupidity.

"Master," Jinjing and the Five bowed in unison.

Po chuckles. "He's gone, guys. It's cool,"

"We await your instruction, Master," Monkey said.

"All you have to lose…" Tigress started.

"Is our respect," Jinjing finished.

Mantis walks up to Po's shoulder. "Seriously, how bad could it be?"

Po smiles nervously. The scene cuts to chaos in the Training Hall. Jinjing and the Five panics as Po watches from a safe area with a staff in hand.

"Very bad! Very, very bad!" Mantis yelled as he gets squished by two wooden clubs.

"Okay, okay, let's switch it up. Monkey, immovable mountain stance!" Po instructed.

"Yes, Master," Monkey obeyed as he was running on the Dragon Planks and then postures himself and falls through the Dragon Planks.

Po cringes. "I mean… Tigress, tornado backflip!"

"Yes, Master," Tigress complied. She flipped back and was knocked down by a burning wooden club.

Po, panic, points at Tigress' tail; its tip is on fire. "Oh, no, fire!"

"Fire!" #1 Jade Palace Archer shouts. The archers fire randomly across the Training Hall's interior. One of the arrows get stuck on Tigress while the other hits Jinjing's arm. They winced.

"Ow! Po!" Jinjing cried out.

"Sorry! My fault," Po apologizes. He points at Crane. "Crane, go high. I mean, low! Low!"

Crane flies into Viper and falls on Mantis, who was laughing at all the chaos. Mantis immediately stops laughing as Crane lands on top of him. "Ow! My claw thingy!"

"Uh, Viper and Jinjing, do… uh, a totem pole!"

Jinjing balances herself on a wooden warrior as Viper sits on the female red panda's head.

"Poison… Technique! Uh, you two… do… a swarming insect bite with a yellow tail, yellow jacket, uh, spicy tuna… I'm sorry,"

Jinjing and the Five proceed to fall altogether. Against the reflection of the flames on the wall the silhouettes of the female red panda and the Five being thrown around by the Training Hall equipment. Shortly after, they slowly walk up – tired and beaten – to Po [2].

"Good… job… Po," Viper weakly said.

Po tries to touch Tigress' flaming ear, but she knocks Po's hand away. "Did you at least… learn a little something?" the panda sheepishly asks.

"Yes. That you can't teach," Tigress responds as she extinguishes the fire on her ear.

"And Tigress is flammable. Turns out," Crane added.

Jinjing slowly looks at Tigress with envy. "Lucky,"

One of the Training Hall equipment falls from the roof.
