Meanwhile, back at the castle home of the queens, the other princess of Hell was in her room cleaning her guns.
"I'm going to find that bitch that hurt grandpa and put her down." Lucy said to herself.
'I don't care if she's the embodiment of evil or that she's grandpa's ex-bitch, that tramp is gonna die!' Lucy thought, making sure her gun barrel was completely before reassembling her weapon.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Lucy?" Charlie asked, "You okay in there?"
"Yeah, mom. I'm fine, just cleaning my stuff." Lucy said as she began finishing her other gun.
At the same time as Charlie entered her room. Just by the look on her face and the moond she was giving off, Charlie could tell what was bothering her.
"... I know you better than anyone and I can tell you're not fine." Charlie said, as she shut the door behind her. "You're mad and you want to punish the person that did this. But Lucy, it's not that easy."
"Nothing worth doing is ever easy. You and Mami taught me that." Lucy said as Charlie came to sit down beside her.
"Sweetie, this... this isn't something a gun can fix." Charlie said, "Your grandpa is one of, if not the, strongest person in creation... and she wiped the floor with him. You can't fight that."
"I will die trying then." Lucy said.
Suddenly, Charlie went full demon and glared disapprovingly at her daughter.
"NO, YOU WILL NOT." Charlie said firmly.
"Why not?! I'm not sitting back and letting that bitch mess with this family!" Lucy shouted back, reaching her breaking point.
"THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN JUST RUSH INTO BATTLE AND DIE WITH GLORY LIKE SOME VIKING!" Charlie shouted.
"You and everyone else have been doing it since before I was born!" Lucy argued.
"and it's only luck that we're still alive! We were young and dumb!" Charlie countered.
"I still managed to kill that Adam prick after his bitches tortured me! That much I remember!" Lucy shouted at Charlie.
"Because you got lucky!" Charlie said, "He didn't realize that you were close and you managed to sneak up on him!"
"A kill is still a kill!" Lucy said, angrily cleaning her second gun before reassembling it.
"We're done discussing this, Lucy!" Charlie said, pointing at her daughter, "I am not going to let you run off and do something that will get you killed!"
"...I already died once, so why does it matter?" Lucy asked coldly.
Charlie felt her heart shatter... she remembers that day vividly... and not just because of the scars on her back and stomach from the angelic spear.
"…And you think I want that to happen again?" Charlie ask her voice wavered, slowly crying as she returns to normal. "You think I want my child to die right in front of me?"
Lucy was quiet after that as she realized the weight her comment carried, and that's when a servant came into the room to get Charlie's attention.
"My queen, there is a guest here to see you." The servant said.
"… … …I'll be there in a moment." Charlie said, wiping her tears away. "I'll be right back, Lucy."
Lucy didn't say anything as she looked away, nodding as she felt she crossed a line by basically saying she didn't care if she died or not but her mother did. Her entire family would care.
'Damnit, Lucy. You fucking idiot.' Lucy thought as Charlie rubbed her head before leaving the room.
"Can today get any worse?" Charlie asked as she walked to thr front foyer.
With her father in the hospital, Roo on the rampage, a sinner killer can go to other rings, and her own daughter is suicidal from her lust for revenge; there couldn't be anything that could make Charlie's day any worse as she reached the front foyer.
"Hello, Charlie." A voice said, making Charlie stop in place and look up
"... Mom?" Charlie asked softly.
Standing in the front foyer of the castle, was none other than Lilith Morningstar. Former queen of hell, ex-wife of Lucifer, and absent mother of Charlie Morningstar for almost 30 years!
"Yes, sweetheart. It's me." Lilith said with a nod.
"… …" Charlie remained silent as she approached her mother, who held her arms out as if she was expecting a hug.
BAM!
"GUH!" Lilith let out, having been suddenly smacked in the face by Charlie's scepter!
"You have a lot of nerve to show up here." Charlie said, her confusion turning into anger as she growled.
"Sssss, ouch but I guess that could be understandable since-" Lilith was smacked across the face again!
"COULD BE UNDERSTANDABLE?! You have been away on a goddamn "vacation" for the last 30 years!" Charlie shouted as her horns came out and her eyes turned red again.
"I know and I'm sorry, dear but-" Lilith was smacked in the face again! "STOP FUCKING HITTING ME! I AM YOUR MOTHER!"
"No the hell you are not!" Charlie yelled with flames spouting from her mouth, "You don't get to call yourself my mother anymore! You missed every single event that was important to me, you never answered my calls or my texts, and you never even sent me a single message back to just say hi!"
"I didn't have my phone with me!" Lilith said.
"FOR THIRTY YEARS?! That is bullshit of the highest degree!" Charlie said as she pointed at Lilith with her staff. "You missed out on every in my life that I worked so hard to get!"
"Look, Charlie, I- UGH!" Lilith was jabbed in the gut!
"I am talking! You are listening!" Charlie said before counting off her achievements! "I opened my redemption project! I reconnected with dad! I got married! I had a child! I proved to EVERYONE that a sinner CAN be redeemed so the exterminations could finally END!"
"And that's wonderful, dear. Really, it-" Lilith was jabbed in the gut again as she stumbled back!
"STILL TALKING! You were not there for ANY of them! But that's fine, because I accepted long again that if you didn't care enough to be there for me, then it's a sign that I didn't need you to be there for me if you didn't want to be. All i needed was my friends, my found family, and dad." Charlie said before pointing to the door. "Now get the hell out of my house before I throw you out!"
"Charlie, look I-" Lilith dodged the next swing as she took a step back! "I understand that you're furious but it's not too late to rekindle our bond like you did with your father!"
"Dad didn't just DROP a divorce and disappear for 30 years! And it only took less than a third of the time you were "relaxing" to visit the hotel and for us to finally reconnect!" Charlie shouted.
"Still, Charlie-!" Lilith dodged a fireball this time as Charlie's mouth was sprewing fire!
"Get this through your fucking head! I DON'T NEED YOU IN MY LIFE ANYMORE! I have a family and friends that mean more to me than you ever will again! So get out of my house, out of my life AGAIN, and NEVER come back!" Charlie said before turning around and walking away, reverting back to normal as she began to calm down. "And be lucky I'm not having the guards throw you out like the trash you are!"
Lilith looked at Charlie as she walked away, somewhat shocked by the words that were thrown at her. It almost made Lilith feel guilty for being gone for so long and for the plan/ she had been working with Roo to complete. ALMOST.
"I was afraid it would come to this." Lilith said with a sigh as she walked up behind Charlie.
Reaching behind her back, Lilith pulled out an angellic metal pipe and smacked her daughter in the back of the head!
'What…the…fuck?' Charlie thought as everything went black.
She fell to the ground as Lilith gazed down at hwe knocked out daughter.
"I was hoping to spare you from what is coming, but you chose your side." Lilith said, picking Charlie up over her shoulder.
As Lilith turned around to leave, she failed to see Lucy was hiding behind a corner and had watched the entire interaction since Charlie had started screaming at her. And seeing things escalate to auch an insane degree, Lucy wasted no time pulling her guns out and revealing herself!
"Stop!" Lucy yelled.
Lilith turned around and saw Lucy, glaring and aiming her guns at her. But instead of feeling threatened, Lilith just smiled warmly at the sight of her granddaughter.
"You must be Little Lucy." Lilith said.
"Put mom down, NOW!" Lucy ordered, her guns aimed for Lilith's head.
"Sorry, but no. She is going play a big role in what's coming." Lilith said, putting Charlie in front of her as a shield to prevent Lucy from shooting.
Lucy tried to aim around her but Lilith kept moving Charlie, even when aiming for two areas Lilith wasn't about moving a specific limb to block a potential bullet.
'Damnit, knock it off, you bitch!' Lucy thought with a growl before lowering her guns and rushed at Lilith.
Who grinned as she put Charlie back over her shoulder and waited.
Lucy went for physical attack, but Lilith blocked it. But Lucy kept attacking, punching and kicking at Lilith as she kept blocking/deflecting with her hand.
"You know, I have wanted to meet you for a long time, Lucy. But I wished it was under better circumstances." Lilith said between blocking with her hand and elbow.
"Shut up!" Lucy yelled, stabbing Lilith in the shoulder with her tail.
This made Lilith flinch as the smile dropped from her lips.
"That hurt." Lilith said before catching Lucy's leg and throwing her into the floor!
"UGH!" Lucy grunts in pain.
"We were having fun playing together and then you stabbed me? Is that anyway to treat your grandmother?" Lilith asked as she grabbed her angellic metal pipe and raised it up.
"After what mom said about you, you're no grandmother to me!" Lucy shouted as she lashed her tail, slicing through the pipe before kicking Lilith in the stomach!
"Grr!" Lilith grunted as she was knocing back, wincing her grip on Charlie was slipping.
'I have to end this or else this plan is over before it can start.' Lilith thought.
Lucy jumped at Lilith for another kick but the first queen caught her leg and slammed Lucy into the ground!
"UGH!" Lucy groaned before Lilith lifted her up and slammed her all around the floor.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
After she was done, Lilith held Lucy up as the princess was covered in bruises and had blood running from her mouth, nose, and various cuts acros her body.
"That was cute... but you're not ready to face someone stronger than you." Lilith said, dropping Lucy to the floor and grabbing the back of her head, "Good night."
"No-" Lucy's head was slammed against the floor, knocking her out.
Sighing sadly, Lilith turned Lucy over on her back and gently creases her bruised face.
"I'm sorry, but this is how things have to be. You'll get your mother back soon but not before we get what we need." Lilith said before standing up and leaving the castle with Charlie.
Leaving Lucy on the ground to be found by servants.
