AC: Here's the chapter. It came sooner, but I am more than halfway with the next one. It was extra motivated this week.

It was the second day since Kaz disappeared in Perim. Sarah stood at the top of a hill and looked around for anything suspicious in the Underworld.

She was near Gothos Tower. The home of Van Bloot, which only had the soldiers of Chaor who patrolled around it. Waiting for the owner of the tower to show up.

Sarah wondered if Kaz might be brought around. She only had one small guess that Lord Van Bloot might knew something about it. A deal with an unknown tribe would be to his advantage.

She had another thought in her mind. Maybe Van Bloot wanted her friend because he was considered a Guide to the Cothica. The harpy would capture the boy and used him against Chaor.

The girl wanted to be angry at Chaor as he put her friend in danger, but didn't. It was bound to happen and her friend wasn't alone. She learned that H'earring disappeared. The teenager knew he was with Kaz and might followed her friend at wherever he was.

She raised her head and noticed Takinom as she landed in front of the tower.

The creature talked with the guards about something. She listened to the creature's response and seemed a bit upset.

Sarah took out a binocular and observed. She could confirm that the Underworlder was upset about whatever news she learned. She dropped it.

The girl sighed as she moved her blond hair away from her face. She had to keep searching for her friend.

She wandered around, in search of any clue.

Chapter 6: The Right Thing

An hour later, Sarah was at the top of a cliff and looked around. She found nothing. She took out her scanner from her pocket. She sat on a rock. She called Tom.

"Hi Sarah."

"Hi Tom. Did you find anything yet?" she asked with a small warm smile.

Tom looked at her seriously from the screen. He nodded negatively, "Nothing yet. I called Peyton a few minutes ago and said he found nothing around the Underworld City. No creatures saw anything. Chaor is pissed. He went to me the moment he saw me and ordered me to tell him anything about Kaz. But, I got nothing," he sighed, "Seems like many Underworlders are searching for him."

"That's good. Maybe they have a better chance," the girl sighed, "I rather find him first. Who knows if he is in deep trouble. Is everything doing okay on Earth? You didn't call me yesterday and you just said that it might get better soon."

"Kaz told me that Khybon is with him as his body guard while he is on Earth. The cult isn't doing anything and… I'll tell you more when we meet on Earth. I rather focus on finding Kaz."

"Okay. You better told me. Because I won't forget this and the real me will know this once I port out."

"Good. Be careful."

"Okay."

"Love you."

"Love you too."

They chuckled quietly, before they ended the call and focused don their task. She stood up and took a step forward.

She yelped when the rock gave in and felt down. She grabbed her scanner to port out, but hit something with her head and then nothing. Never realised she felt on a creature.

"Ouch!" something grunted with a masculine voice as it massaged, his head. The creature gazed at what felt on his skull and noticed it was a human, "A- A human," he took a step back as he planned to retreat. He gazed back at her, "Is she?" he approached the human and checked at her, "She's okay," the creature decided to leave, but stopped. His conscious wouldn't let him abandon someone vulnerable like that. Especially in the Underworld.

He sighed and grabbed her. He brought her elsewhere.

Sarah grumbled painfully. Her head hurt a bit and wondered what happened. Her thought went in no direction. She felt a bit lost in her mind. She sat down and grumbled a bit more when she felt a bit like the world just rolled. She recovered after a few minutes.

She realised she felt from the cliff. She searched for her scanner and didn't find it anywhere, "D-damn," she quickly stood up. She knew how resilient the scanner was, but she didn't want to search it lava pool. That would be horrible and only a creature like Magmon could fish it out, if it was the case.

"You're up," someone said as he put something on her head.

"W-who-" she moved back. She raised her head as she noticed the creature with a wet tissue in his hand.

The creature looked a little slim, despite his tall size. All she could see was his orange cloak with his hood hiding his face. The hand that held the tissue was a silver-white gauntlet with claws at the end. He raised his other one, "Easy. Just treating your head wound," he sighed and took a step back, "You are back to the living world. I thought you might never wake up when you landed on my head," he lightly chuckled as he tried to ease the tension.

"Your head is really hard," Sarah grumbled as she stood up. The hardest head she heard about was one of a Danian. Didn't remember the creature's name thought. She ignored the pain from her skull as she stood up. She felt a bit dizzy, "W-" she almost felt when the creature grabbed her wrist.

"You should sit down until you feel better. Here," he put the tissue on her head, "This should help a bit… I hope," the creature turned his back at her.

"W-who are you?"

The creature hesitated to answer for a while. He made a few snappy sounds with his mouth, "Just a creature watching what is going on in the Underworld. They just come up alive for some reason and we are a bit worried about it."

"Yeah. My friend disappeared and Chaor is really pissed about it. They are searching for him. Me too," she admitted. She could already guess the creature had nothing to do with her friend disappearance.

"Chaor? That pissed about your friend disappearance? Is it Takinom?"

"No," Sarah decided not to explain more. She had no idea which tribe the creature was from with his hidden features, "I saw her getting a report anyway."

"Then I was wrong," the creature scratched his chin.

The girl was certain it wasn't an Underworlder now. She wasn't with a Danian either and didn't see any lizard trait so far. Some had no tails, so it might be an Overworlder or a Mipedian, "Which tribe are you from?"

The slim creature tapped the ground a bit nervously as he prepared an answer. He carefully replied, "I'm not from any tribe. I'm Tribeless. I am a wanderer from a small clan. I rather not speak more about them. We rather stay unnoticed by the tribes," he glanced at her, "It causes less trouble for us," he put his hand on his side, "And which tribe are you anyway? I saw a few creatures like you anyway, but I have no idea where which tribe you are from? Surely not an Underworlder," he chuckled.

Sarah frowned and the creature stopped chuckling, "You never heard of Chaotic Player or humans?"

He hesitated a bit, "I heard that a bit, no idea what it- You are that tribe…something?" he asked.

The girl couldn't help, but had the feeling that something wasn't right with the creature. He always seemed a bit slow in his response about his allegiance. It was like he tried to find a believable lie. Still, maybe it was because he was in enemy territory and didn't know her. It was best not to confront the creature without a way out. Sarah remembered that she lost her scanner. She waited for a bit before she stood up. She noticed the creature focused on the horizon.

"You should sit back," the creature suggested.

"I'm better. Say… Did you see my scanner? It's a small brown thing with a black part on it."

"I heard of that battlegear. Yes, I did find it. It was yours?" he showed his hand and held a scanner.

"Yes. Can you give it back?"

"Of course," he turned around and showed it near her face.

Sarah grabbed it and looked at the creature. She could see a bit through his hood now. She saw the silver-white metallic face or mask because of the shining purple eyes. The moment she saw those eyes and the mask, she knew which creature it might be. She grabbed her scanner, "It's you," she quietly said as anger rose in her.

"Me?" the creature was confused now.

"You're the one who kidnap my friend Peyton aren't you?" she glared at the creature.

He was taken aback once she made those accusations and her sudden mood change. He knew he was busted. He took a step back, "W-who?"

"Don't try this? One of those creatures who attacked my friend had purple eyes, just like yours! Not only that, he has the same mask!" It was strange for her that the creature backed off. He was dominating in size and power, but somehow, he was intimidated by her, "Where did you took him?"

"C-calm down!" he raised his hands and slowly moved it down.

"You kidnap my friend and maybe hurt him! You think I'll calm down?" she replied back. Still, the creature did try to help her. She did try to calm her anger down, but it refused too. It kept boiling, "Why would you do that?

"B-because," he began to move his arms under his cloak. As if he tried to activate something, but couldn't. He gazed at the side, "Because-" he jumped back when she took a step forward, "Stay back! I don't want to hurt you!"

"Answer me!"

The creature decided to speak up the true, "Yes. We did take him away," he glanced at the side, "But we don't want to hurt him. We won't hurt him!"

"Won't?" she asked as she quickly understood what he implied, "You will kidnap him again?"

The creature yelped as he made a mistake, "Not kidnapping! It's not kidnapping! King Titanium would never just kidnap him!"

"King… Titanium?"

The creature moved his arms and revealed his arm. Not only that, it also revealed the Telebracers he wore, "Got to go!" and pressed on a switch and teleported away.

"W-" the girl was left with her arm in the air. She grumbled; a bit frustrated that the creature got away like that. Her arm dropped down. She got a little something from the creature, but it wouldn't help. Still, Theb-Saar surely would want to know that a king kidnapped her friend, "Another tribe," she realised.

She cursed herself a bit as she realised, she made the creature teleported away. She surely would get more from the creature if she was calm and didn't make him retreat like that. She put her hand on her forehead and grumbled again about that. She took out her scanner and hesitated to call someone first. Her best friend or her boyfriend. She decided to call Peyton first, as it was about him.

"What is it Sarah? Did you find Kaz?" Peyton asked, his forehead covered a bit with sweat.

She could see through the screen a bit of the lava that felt behind her friend, "No. No clue about Kaz, but I found something important. I saw one of the creatures who kidnapped you."

"You should port away and-"

"I felt on him and was unconscious for a while," she interrupted him. She went on before he could say anything, "He helped me and seemed nice, until I found out about the creature identity. He had the purple eyes and the metallic mask," she explained a bit what happened with their meeting, "And he said that his king Titanium didn't kidnap you, which they did. Not only that, it seems like they want to kidnap you again."

Peyton put his hand on his forehead and grumbled at the moment he heard the name, "T-Titanium?"

"Peyton?" she asked a bit worried.

Peyton grumbled as he felt a bit weak. He sat on the ground as his mind seemed to fight against itself somehow.

An unknown voice from an unknown memory echoed in his mind, 'You are a funny guy and I like funny guy.'

"Titanium…" he panted a little.

"Peyton!" Sarah yelled.

"I… I'm- My heard hurt. Sarah… Got to- To port out."

"Okay. I'll call Tom and port back."

"S-sorry. Just… things fighting in here," he pointed at his head.

"Port back now."

"Y-yeah," Peyton ended communication and port back.

AC: This is the end of this chapter.

Next: How To Protect?

Theb-Saar received the visit of Peyton as he told him a bit of what Sarah learned. Meanwhile Kaz tried to find out if H'earring was okay and where he was.
