Remi ported in Chaotic. He felt a bit down as he put his scanner in his pocket. He sighed quietly, "Dammit. Who is that dude who got Peyton?"

He was a Caucasian man with blue-green eyes and short black hair. He wore a red shirt and blue pants. He looked around and didn't see Kaz, Tom or Sarah, "Of course they are very busy."

The boy tapped his scanner with his hand. He learned not that long ago that Peyton was kidnapped by creatures called the Metalist. Not only that, but it was the king of that tribe that got his friend and teleported away.

"I missed all of that," he commented.

Remi wondered what he could do to help his friends. He had no idea what course of action to take. He knew nothing of those creatures until his friends told him, "Maybe they know something," he took out his scanner, "I'm sure he would be happy to see him again," he turned around and decided to port to the M'arrillians territory.

Chapter 27: How Is Everything Evolving?

Remi ported in front of the large door that led to the Deep Ocean. The large door known as the Doors of the Deepmines. The black door with the statue of a creature of each of the four-tribe stood there. The door opened and sabotaged too never close again. They were two M'arrillians who guarded the entrance.

"Hey Remi!" one of them waved at him.

"Hello. I came to visit Bahrakatan," the human replied.

"He is in his home right now. He will come to greet you the moment we tell him you are here."

"Tell him. I'll greet him halfway," Remi replied as he passed the door.

The teenager was on his own as he thought back about everything that changed with the M'arrillians in a year. It was quite impressive how it changed.

He walked through the tunnel that led to one of the two towns of the M'arrillians that were located to the surface. Most were underwater. It wasn't called the Deep Ocean for nothing.

The teenager waved at the creatures when they greeted him. He only started visiting them for a month, after Gal'drad short out most of the things. He learned about it two weeks ago when he visited Bahrakatan. He hoped his friend was okay.

He thought back on the few things that changed with the tribe since Milla'iin defeat.

Gal'drad managed to be the factor leader of the M'arrillians. He showed his skills and convinced, by words or battles, the reluctant creatures to accept him as the leader. Very few were willing to fight or oppose Gal'drad. Their defeat showed them that they were indeed on the wrong path.

The one thing Remi wasn't sure about, was being the guide of the M'arrillians. He had no idea what it was or meant. Still, it seemed to help Gal'drad and gave some hope for the creatures that they might still be worthy of the Cothica.

In summary, the M'arrillians who revolted against Aa'une's way won the conflict and those who were defeated had to accept the changes. The victory on Earth was an important step when Milla'iin gave up.

Remi knew enough about everything that changed thanks to Bahrakatan explaining everything with joy.

Gal'drad focused on keeping his words with the other tribes. He didn't try anything dirty or showed any intention of attacking the other tribes. He focused on trying to find what the tribe lost in the past. It was extremely difficult. When it came to their culture, it was lost forever.

Despite that, Aval'par showed they could change. Remi watched a few of the decorations in front of the homes of the M'arrillians. They were a few shells that were painted and decorated with symbols he had no idea what it was or meant. Maybe the M'arrillians had no idea.

The one Aval'par made couldn't be found anymore. He destroyed it because of how ugly it was. Still, he inspired the others to develop their artistic side.

The teenager could see art developing among the tribe, but it was a slow step. Simple art with simple design. It was still better than anything he could draw.

As for the rest, it was pretty much the same, except they didn't talk about how to invade the other tribes or any battleplans.

"I wonder if they still criticize Gal'drad decision that much," he was uncertain of that fact. He heard steps of a heavy creatures coming towards him, "Hi Bahrakatan."

He had purple shell on his body and walked on his four legs. His bronze pincer had some jelly from the tentacle on it while his bronze hand held the scanner. His four blue eyes focused on the human as he quickly approached him, "Hi Remi. It's not been long since last time."

The boy could easily guess the creature was happy to see him. The face he had limited the expression of the crab-like creature, "Yeah. It's not a long time, but a lot happened and maybe your tribe might know something about it."

"What kind of situation you are talking about?" Bahrakatan asked as he invited the boy to follow him.

"One of my friends, Peyton, the boy who is positive, he was captured by a creature of an unknown tribe."

"The Elementalist?"

"No. Another one called the Metalist. Creatures with body made of metal, from what Tom and Kaz said," Remi began to explain what he knew in the matter.

Bahrakatan stopped as he resumed the important and worrying part, "That creature teleported from Perim to your world and brought the human with him thanks to a Telebracer? Those battlegears can't do that," he frowned as he scratched his chin.

A few M'arrillians overheard that and whispered among themselves.

The Coralsmith frowned, but didn't call them out, "Gal'drad need to know this right now. Follow me," he walked forward.

"Do you know anything about those Metalist?" he asked.

"No. I never heard anything about it. It is possible that our tribe knows more. Remember that our tribe erased the memories of the other tribes for our revenge during the first war," he glanced at the human, "Maybe we have something about those creatures."

The teenager remembered that. He heard that tale from the boy named Alexander. He scratched the back of his head, "I hope so. Anything that could help save Peyton."

"And avoided another guide to be captured. They might go after you eventually," Bahrakatan concluded.

"Me?" Remi wasn't certain it would be the case.

"You are considered as one of the guides. We cannot let out guard down for any second," he grumbled as he searched for some words, "We didn't see any of them at the gate, but we can never be sure when they might show up."

They reached a large shell structure. It was a large house with a few small holes used for windows. They walked through the entrance.

The two saw Gal'drad who grumbled, "Dammit. I cannot do everything at the same time."

Gal'drad was a M'arrillian with a pale blue body which seemed to be made of solid and very compact liquid for most of his body. He wore a dark blue armor at his upper legs, pelvis, chest, and arms. A dark blue tail came out of his back with spikes on it.

"Is everything okay?" Bahrakatan asked.

"Yes. I just need to verify many things. I need to read the old texts and also managed the problems between two Chieftains who are fighting about how we should organise our defense. I think I am pretty busy and tired," the Chieftain sighed as he turned around. He noticed the human, "Welcome Remi. Wasn't expecting a visit from you. As you can see Bahrakatan, I am quite occupied at the moment for a simple talk," he then focused on the human once again, "I'm sorry for being indisposed right now."

"It's alright. We came to put more charge on your shoulders," the Coralsmith told him.

"That is the cruelest way to tell me that you need my help for something."

"You are the Oligarch; you are condemned to have more charge on your shoulders."

"Fine. What is the problem?" his tail twitched nervously, "It involves Remi isn't it? Anyone tried to get him?"

"Not yet."

"Not yet!"

Remi sighed, "It's not me who's in trouble. My friend Peyton was kidnapped by a creature from the Metalist tribe. A tribe of creatures made in metal. Tom and the others are searching for him and I'm wondering if you might know more about it?"

Gal'drad frowned as he put his hand on his side, "Metalist… I did read something about it. I thought it was a dead tribe."

"You found something?" Bahrakatan asked as he approached the jelly-like creature.

"Yes. It's not much, but from Aa'une's writing, the Metalist are a tribe who lives isolated form the other tribes. He put them on the list of tribes to conquer after controlling the continent."

"So, they come from a far away places like the Elementalist," the crab-like creature commented.

Gal'drad grumbled, "I still have little good memories of the Elementalist. They really wanted to prevent us from reaching the Cothica."

"Earth," the human corrected him.

"Earth and imprisoned us. How did the Metalist even passed the Codemasters and reached the Earth to get your friend?"

"That's the thing. He didn't pass through Chaotic. He teleported directly to Earth and then left with Peyton."

The new Oligarch watched the boy for a few seconds. Before he went and took a few tablets, "I'll need to search for about it. What Aa'une said means that he surely scouted for them before our tribe was trapped in the door. Those two Chieftains can solve their arguments with their fist. Where are those tablets?" he began to check on the tablets.

"I guess this is your priority now," Bahrakatan declared.

"Yes. I might have to enter in contact with Theb-Saar and report anything important I'll find. The other tribes don't trust us, but we will prove to them we've change," Gal'drad commented.

Remi found that comment out of nowhere, but he knew what the other tribes still thought of the M'arrillians. That might be one big thing in the mind of the creature in the present time, "You got a lot in that. I know you can do it," he smiled at the ruler of the Deep Ocean.

"I appreciate those words," the Chieftain replied. He grumbled as his tail bounced on the ground a bit nervously, "It will be a bit… difficult to tell you if I find anything Remi. It might take a few days before I might get something."

"It will go faster if I help you and search the tablets and some of the elders. They might know a bit more than us… Maybe even Phelphor. He was frozen for a very long time and lived through the first invasion," Bahrakatan thought back.

"Speaking of Phelphor, Tom said he is doing okay in jail and treated fairly. Tom visits him from time to time."

"This is good to hear," the blue creature nodded as he tapped his pincer with his finger, "We are trying to bring him back to our tribe. He was a traitor to Aa'une belief and acted on his own to help Tom."

"If he knew we existed and was against Milla'iin, maybe he would have come to us. I was sure he would be loyal to Milla'iin. It turned out it was much more complicated than that," Gal'drad sighed in regret. He couldn't change the past, "Maxxor is open to bring him here, but the Underworld are extremely against it. Not surprising. Phelphor was the one who opened the gate and began the invasion of Perim by backstabbing Chaor," he concluded. He put his hand on his face, "And Chaor is known to hold a grudge for a very long time. I think I have to negotiate with Chaor to release Phelphor in the Overworld," he chuckled as if he told a joke.

Remi glanced at the side, "I guess you have to do that. I don't think he will change his mind for a long time. Maybe you will have to go around him to bring him back here. Phelphor is a prisoner of the Overworld and not the Underworld."

"I rather not push Chaor's nerve. We heard that he was quite busy when Kaz disappeared for a while. I know nothing more in the matter, but I'll wait until his blood stops boiling before trying to negotiate something with him."

"There is little to help Phelphor for now," Bahrakatan then asked, "And what about Milla'iin? Heard anything about his trial?"

"No dates yet. I don't know when it would come, but I heard it would be soon. It's estimated that it would come in the next month."

"Month?" the two creatures tried to calculate how long that was.

Remi had no idea how to explain it, "It's like 30 days or something," the M'arrillians understood that. The teenager guessed those two didn't read into the minds of humans or that deep. Bahrakatan was there during the invasion, but didn't seem he did enter into someone's mind.

After the important conversation, the three talked together a bit more, before the human had to port out for his upcoming match. Remi also planned to visit Phelphor with Tom when they had the chance.
