(Passing by Final Battle as it pretty much remains the same)

WHEN FREYA, COLINA, LOCKHART, AND HARRY all came to Dumbledore's office covered in soot and (on Harry's part) blood, the grownups in the office could only stare. The Weasley twins and Percy were there too, pale-faced and shocked as they looked at Harry for a moment before staring open-mouthed at their sister.

"Oh." Fred and George said together, putting their head in their hands, tense shoulders relaxing.

"Mum, Dad, brothers of mine? What are you guys doing here?" Freya asked, surprised just before her mother burst into tears.

"Where have you been? They called us because they did a bedroom check, and they couldn't find you and Harry anywhere and we thought-" Ms. Weasley burst into sobs as she went to go hug her daughter. Freya's eyes widened as her mother continued, "Well, you c-can assume what we'd thought!"

"Um, by any chance, even though I guess this counts as stepping one toe out of line," Freya said loudly over her mother's wails, looking slightly guilty even as she smiled, "I'm not going to get another Howler sent to me, right?"

Her father chuckled, relief in his happy exhale of breath, as he went over to hug his daughter too, "I'm sure your mother can let it slide just this once. But what happened?"

Freya, Harry, and Colina shared a look as Colina bit her lip and nodded, looking pale as she gave Harry her permission to set down the diary along with the Gryffindor sword before they explained their story.

Once they were done the others stared at them in shock.

"Breaking a thousand and one school rules!" Professor McGonagall takes a look from Harry to Freya aghast, "Really, it's a wonder you didn't get yourselves killed!"

"I know, itis pretty brilliant that we didn't, right?" Freya inquired, "Like, a hundred thousand points to Gryffindor brilliant? Each?"

Her brothers gave a weak smile, but they still looked kind of shaken, having winced at the word 'killed."

"What I want to know is how Tom Riddle's diary got into your hands in the first place. If you don't mind me asking," Dumbledore said kindly to Colina who squeaked as his gaze fell upon her. "I am frankly very curious for you are a muggle-born are you not?"

"Ah, I-I believe so, sir." Colina said looking down, "I was adopted, you see."

Freya looked surprised at the news and Harry felt his heart drop, remembering how Tom had told him this when he was mimicking what Colina had written down.

"You see, I needed her, so it was very lucky for her that she was adopted," Tom said, smirking slightly. "You see, at least then there was a chance that she, like me, might not becompletely muggle-born. I could convince myself that she might just have magical blood in her veins."

"Ah, I see. I think that, forgive me for saying so Ms. Creevey, it was very lucky for you in this situation." Dumbledore said as if he had heard Harry's thoughts.

"I know, he was always writing back to me saying I might not be a muggle born. I think that was him trying to convince himself more than convince me. But, I never told him that my actual parents turned out to be muggles, found out last year you see, so I guess it's good I didn't tell, " Colina said weakly, her hands wrung together. "And...And where I got the journal…"

Colina seemed to be stuck on the words.

"I can assure you I don't think the giver knew what the journal was, I think, Professor Dumbledore." She continued, blushing. "B-But I got the diary fr-from...Well, I got it from Freya."

"What?" all the Weasleys said, Freya the most surprised of them all.

"Wait, wait, I was wondering why the diary looked familiar," Freya said after a moment, her face reddening. "I-is that the journal I gave you at the beginning of the year for signatures?"

When Colina nodded, Freya looked as though she had been slapped.

"I...I, uh," Freya winced, her expression darkening in a way Harry had never seen it do before as her jaw clenched. "I swear I didn't know, I didn't even write in it myself, I-"

"You didn't know," Dumbledore finished for her, sounding confident. "I believe I can see how most of this played out and I assure you that none of you girls are guilty, though Ms. Creevey I'd like to advise you next time a book writes back to you, you should bring it to a teacher."

Colina nodded quickly. "P-Professor? Does this mean I'm not being expelled?"

"Nobody was harmed and thankfully you especially weren't harmed, so I say there's no reason to think you should be." Dumbledore's eyes twinkled as he looked around, "At this moment Madame Pomfrey is giving the victims the mandrake solutions right now. They should awaken at any moment."

"At any moment you say?" Percy questioned, speaking for the first time since the others had arrived, looking wide-eyed and almost nervous.

"Yes, Mr. Weasley."

Percy nodded, fixing his horn-rimmed glasses that had gone slightly askew at his start while Freya shared a glance with Harry, obviously compressing her urge to shout out the fact that Will would be waking up soon too.

"And what say you, Lockhart? You've been rather quiet about your part in the adventure," said Dumbledore, looking behind them with raised brows.

Freya and Harry started, momentarily forgetting their teacher, as they glanced back at a dazed-looking Lockhart.

"Um, you should know, Professor," Freya began awkwardly scratching the back of her neck, "There may have been a bit of an accident involving a memory charm…?"
