At night Yuya is sitting in her room going through her deck.
"All right, this is perfect! Starting tomorrow, I'll win my next four matches with you guys for sure! I'll take my first step towards becoming a pro!" Yuya exclaims as she looks at her cards.
At that Yuya remembers Reji's declaration of knowing the next evolution of Pendulum Summoning.
"I can't lose to him either!" Yuya says with determination in her eyes as she picks up one of her cards.
The next morning after washing her face in the bathroom Yuya is greeted by her pets En, Core, Watt and Kilo. She smiles before she notices something.
"Wait... there are two more now? Mom took in more again...?" Yuya says as she looks at the two new cats.
"Ah, Yuya! Good morning!" Sora greets her as she enters the kitchen.
"Morning. Man, you've really made yourself at home, haven't you?" Yuya asks him as she walks over to him.
"Well, it's fine since we're friends, right? Good luck with your upcoming four matches! I'm working hard to enter the same tournament as you!" Sora exclaims with a smile.
"So you're going to be doing your qualification Duels today too?" Yuya asks him slightly annoyed.
"Yeah! I only need to win six matches in a row, so it'll be a chin!" Sora says excited.
"You really..." Yuya sighs before turning her attention to something more important.
"Mom, is breakfast ready?" Yuya asks her, hearing that Sora also turns toward Yoko with a hungry smile.
"Just wait a bit more." Yoko says stunning them.
"I'm working on making Mille-Feuille Tonkatsu with a Special Salad right now!" Yoko says as she tries to get the recipe right.
"Huh? But I'd rather you make your usual pancackes instead of something that takes so much work!" Yuya request as she walks next to her and sees exhaustion written all over her face.
"But I've already got Mitchie's popular recipe open right now!" Yoko says.
"Just make whatever, and make it quick!" Yuya almost begs.
"I already told you to wait, didn't I!?" Yoko scolds her, while Sora who can't wait any longer drinks his milk to try and sate his hunger.
"But if I don't hurry, I'll be late to my duel!" Yuya explains desperately.
"Ah! Look you made me mess up!" Yoko complains.
Later in town, Yuya is walking toward the location Nico gave her while holding on to her growling stomach.
"Now I didn't get any breakfast at all because I had to rush out..." Yuya sighs.
"What's this smell... It smells delicious!!" Yuya questions as the smell of something delicious catches her attention.
She starts running toward the source of it until she reaches it.
"This is the place!" she says as she looks up to see where she is.
"Cuisine Duel School? Wait isn't this where Nico told me to come the other day..." Yuya questions as she takes her duel disk out of her pocket.
"I've been waiting for you, Yuya!" Nico says as he comes close, his sudden appearance startling her.
"Now, come inside!" Nico says as he motions her to enter.
"Huh?" Yuya tries to question
"It's fine, just go!" Nico says as he pushes her inside.
Inside multiple dishes are cooking.
"So many wonderful smells!" Yuya mutters before she forces herself to regain her composure.
"Mitchie love...? What the heck is that?" Yuya mutters as she sees the banner.
"Let me introduce today's opponent... Nickname Mitchie, it's Michio Mokota!" Nico says as he introduces Yuya's opponent.
Michio takes a bow with a wall of smoke erupting behind him, leaving Yuya slightly stunned.
"You're Yuya Sakaki, right?" Michio asks her.
"Y-Yeah..." Yuya says as she regains herself.
"Michio is a young chef whose self-made recipes are very popular among housewives everywhere!" Nico explains before Yuya's stomach growls again annoying Nico slightly and making the girl in question blush in embarrassment.
"You seem to be pretty hungry yourself." Michio comments.
"Sorry about that, I missed breakfast today. On top of that, all the foods everyone is cooking here smell so good!" Yuya says as she rubs the back of her head.
"Then I'll fill that hungry stomach of yours using my perfect recipe and my Cooking Duel!" Michio declares.
"Principal Kirigakure!" a voice yells, catching Yuya's attention.
"What is the meaning of this!? Michio has already qualified for the Junior Youth Championship! Why are you still having him play in official matches!?" the woman yells at the schools principal.
"Ma'am it's just like I explained to you earlier-" the principal tries to argue
"Don't worry about it, Mom!" Michio cuts in.
"Yuya Sakaki is the one who beat that Strong Ishijima remember?" Michio says, flattering Yuya.
"It seems like fun, so I'll make a light meal of her." Michio adds, making Yuya glare at him slightly.
"Yes, you're right. She shouldn't give you any trouble at all! Show her the strength of someone who doesn't even lose to the top players from LDS!" Michio's mother says.
"Leave it to me, Mom!" Michio says.
"I'll be cheering for you, do your best!" Michio's mom says as she walks to the stands.
"Big sis Yuya!" Yuya hears, she turns around to sed Ayu, Tatsuya and Futoshi standing there.
"You guys were here?" Yuya asks surprised to see them.
"Of course!" Ayu confirms.
"This is your first step to become a pro after all!" Tatsuya explains.
"You better win it with style and give me the shivers!" Futoshi adds.
As Yuya and Michio get in position Nico announces the start of the duel.
"Everyone, it's what you've all been waiting for! It's time for the duel between the princess of Pendulum Summoning, Yuya Sakaki and the Cooking Duel prince, Michio Mokota!" Nico announces, to which Michio waves at the cheering crowd and the housewives in it go crazy.
Meanwhile Michio's mother is recording the duel.
"Honey, are you actually watching! Michio has a big match today, but you didn't come because you're busy with prep-work..." Michio's mother asks as she turns the camera toward herself.
At the same time the man in question tunes out his wife as he concentrates on his work.
"Now then, Principal Kirigakure, if you would!" Nico says as he hands the spotlight to the principal.
"Cooking is an insatiable journey for new possibilities! And Duels are one and the same! Let's have these aspiring youths do their Cooking Duel on the most fitting Field! Action Field On! Field Magic: Action Kitchen, Activate!" the principal says as the field activates, a kitchen the size made for a giant with enormous ingredients lying around and giant plates floating.
"Wha... it's a kitchen?" Yuya questions surprised.
"That's right. So I can cook you properly." Michio declares, already having activated his duel disk.
"No matter what field it may be, I just have to make it through with my Entertainment Dueling!" Yuya says ready to fight as she activates her duel disk.
"Duelists locked in battle!" Yuya starts
"Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters! They storm through this Field!" Michio continues
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Yuya continues
"Action!" the audience finishes
"Duel!" "Duel!" Yuya and Michio say as the action cards are dispersed.

"Freshness is everything in cooking and dueling! I'll be taking the first turn! Now I'll let you get a good taste of how amazing my Cooking Dueling is!" Michio exclaims as he starts his turn.
"I summon Cookmate Chickwheat from my hand!" Michio says as his monster appears.
Cookmate Chickwheat (LV.2) (100ATK/400DEF)
"Let's go Chickwheat!" he says as he mounts his monster, which runs around the field before making a jump toward a rice cooker. Michio then uses his monster as a jumping point to get onto the rice cooker, he lands on the button to opens and an action card flies out.
"I'll take that Action Card!" Michio says as he catches it mid-air.
"Wha!? He already got an Action Card?" Yuya exclaims surprised.
"Good, I got myself a nice one. I'm going to use this while it's still fresh! I activate the Action Magic, Food Prepping Microwave! This card allows me to return one monster I control to my hand, and Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster from my hand!" Michio explains as a giant microwave appears next to him.
"I return Chickwheat to my hand! And Special Summon the Level One Cookmate Eggong!" Michio says as his monsters are switched out.
Cookmate Eggong (LV.1) (0ATK/300DEF)
"At this moment Chickwheat's effect activates. When this card is returned from the field to my hand I can Special Summon it!" Michio exclaims as his first monster returns.
Cookmate Chickwheat (LV.2) (100ATK/400DEF)
"And when there are two or more Cookmate monsters on my field, I can Special Summon Cookmate Potatopard from my hand in attack mode!" Michio declares as his new monster appears.
Cookmate Potatopard (LV.3) (600ATK/300DEF)
"And also!" Michio says as he holds onto Eggong and glides to a blender, where he activates it. A gust of wind comes out and an action card drops out of it.
"That's-!" Yuya says as she sees it.
"I'll be taking another Action Card!" Michio says as the card lands in his hand.
"He got three monsters out in an instant!" Tatsuya observes.
"On top of that he's gotten two Action Cards!" Futoshi adds.
"He looked like a total pushover, but he's pretty good!" Ayu exclaims.
"I set two cards and end my turn!" Michio says as his facedowns materialize.
"Michio seems to be in top form!" Nico comments.
"Well, he does know this Field like the back of his hand. First, he collects the ingredients..." the principal exclaims before
"That's right! He's only just getting started!" Michio's mother cuts in.
At the same time at another dueling school Sora wins his duel against a sumo duelist with the use of Death-Toy Scissor Bear.
Yuzu who is in the stands seems lost in thought before Sora snaps her back to reality.
"All right, we're going to the next one!" Sora tells Yuzu.
"Ah! Yeah, right!" Yuzu says as she gets up. Sora gives her an irritated look since she didn't pay attention to his duel.
Back with Yuya.
"My turn!" Yuya says as she draws and starts her turn.

Though when she does her stomach growls which flusters the children and makes her feel embarrassed.
"Come on, big sis Yuya!" Ayu yells at her in rage.
At that Yuya gives a nervous chuckle and rubs the back of her head.
"You're quite something, but I guess I can't blame you since you missed out on breakfast. I don't want you using that as an excuse for loosing though!" Michio tells Yuya.
"And why is it decided that I'm going to lose?" Yuya asks him irritated.
"Because my recipe is perfect, that's why! So there is no way that you could defeat me once I begin!" Michio declares, quite full of himself.
"You don't know that for sure! I summon Entermate Whip Viper from my hand!" Yuya retorts as she summons her monster.
Entermate Whip Viper (LV.4) (1700ATK/900DEF)
"Whip Viper! Lets show them how it's done!" Yuya says as she uses Whip Viper to latch onto a faucet and propel herself up. Though on the landing she slips on the wet surface.
"Look out!" Tatsuya yells.
Yuya saves herself by grasping it with her legs hanging upside-down, making even her monster sweat drop at how close that was.
"Would you look at that!" Yuya says as he spots an action card.
"She is quite impressive herself." the principal comments.
"Well, she is the daughter of the Action Duel pioneer, Yusho Sakaki, after all." Nico tells him.
"I can see why you expect great things from her." the principal tells Nico.
"Battle Phase! I attack Eggong with Whip Viper!" Yuya exclaims as she helps her monster launch itself at Eggong.
Just as Whip Viper is about to swallow the egg monster though
"Action Magic, Freeze Freezer!" Michio says.
"That's the Action Card he got earlier?" Yuya exclaims.
"Freeze Freezer negates all off the opponent's attacks this turn!" Michio explains as a giant freezer appears behind him and blasts a cold wave at Whip Viper, trapping it inside an ice block.
"Now those are some real shivers..." Futoshi says as he shivers from the cold.
"If that's how you want to play it... I activate the Action Magic, Battle Burner! When my monsters attack is negated it can attack again! And this can't be negated!" Yuya explains as a giant blowtorch appears and unfreezes Whip Viper.
"Whip Viper, attack again!" Yuya tells her monster, which swallows Eggong with a single gulp.
Michio: 4000 - 2300 LP
"She did it!" Ayu cheers.
"Also, when the monster affected by Battle Burner destroys an opponent's monster, all my opponents monsters that are in attack mode are destroyed!" Yuya explains as the blowtorch explodes and two fireballs fly at Michio's monsters, which try to flee panicked, but are still burned to crisps.
"All of his monsters got wiped out!" Tatsuya exclaims.
"Shivers!" Futoshi says as he wiggles around.
"That ends my turn! See, the outcome of a Duel is something that we won't know until we try!" Yuya declares.
"No, actually I know..." Michio says as he gives of a laugh that seems out of character for him.
"This is all going according to my recipe! I activate the Continuous Trap, Food Cemetery! By activating this card all Cookmate monsters that were sent to the Graveyard this turn are placed inside it!" Michio explains as a giant stove emerges from a dark aura and the destroyed Cookmate's are absorbed by it.
"The destroyed monsters went inside!" Ayu observes in shock.
"And now, I can add the same number off Cookmate's from my deck to my hand as the monsters that were placed inside the cemetery! The more monsters are sent to the Graveyard this turn, the stronger Food Cemetery becomes." Michio says as he adds three cards to his hand.
"Before I had to do anything, you did all the hard work for me by destroying my monsters!" Michio tells Yuya, to which she grunts.
"Brand-new Cookmates are now on the menu!" Michio declares.
"That's it, Michio!" Michio's mother exclaims proud.
"So that means he added three monsters to his hand?" Yuya mutters as she waits for his next move.
"With this, all the prep-work is ready." Michio says with a dark smile.
Hearing that over his wife's camera feed Michio's father glances at the screen for a split second before shifting his focus back to his cooking.
"My turn. Draw!" Michio says as he starts his turn.

"Now, I've saved the best for last for that starving belly of yours." Michio tells Yuya with a slight bow.
"Mitchie's best dish is coming!" one of the housewives says.
"From my hand, I activate the Continuous Magic, Wonder Recipe! Once per turn, this lets me Special Summon a number of Royal Cookmates from my hand in attack mode as the number of cards inside my Food Cemetery!" Michio explains as a rainbow light hits the Food Cemetery and it starts moving about.
"There are three cards in that Cemetery right now." Yuya thinks as she curses herself for falling for his tricks.
"I've got your order!" Michio says as the entrance to his Food Cemetery bursts open and three monsters fly out of it and transform.
"I Special Summon Royal Cookmate Knight Napolitan! Royal Cookmate Princess Pudding! And Royal Cookmate Prince Curry!" Michio says as his monsters are summoned.

"That guy is exquis-" Futoshi tries to say before getting glared at from Tatsuya and Ayu.
"Sorry... I meant expert!" Futoshi corrects himself intimidated by his friends.
"Cookmates that are destroyed the turn I activate Food Cemetery are all sent into it. And now, thanks to Wonder Recipe, I could Special Summon one Royal Cookmate for each Cookmate inside it." Michio reiterates.
"A combo that punishes me for destroying monsters by replacing them with stronger monsters, huh?" Yuya understands.
"Exactly! This is my perfect recipe!" Michio exclaims as he slides down Napolitan's noodles into a tea cup.
"I'll be taking this Action Card!" Michio says as he climbs out of the cup with an action card in his hand.
"He got another one!?" Yuya says, starting to get annoyed, before she rushes off to find one for herself.
"Before our food gets cold, I'll activate the other effect of Wonder Recipe! For each monster Special Summoned by this card's effect, I can inflict 300 points of damage to my opponent!" Michio explains as his monsters glow and release bolts of lightning at Yuya.
"He summoned three Royal Cookmates with that card!" Tatsuya says.
"So, 300 times 3 is...900 points of damage!" Futoshi and Ayu exclaim.
"I'll have you pay for your restaurant bill in Life Points!" Michio says as the lightning strikes Yuya.
Yuya: 4000 - 3100 LP
"You've got a lot of food on the table, but they only have 300 attack points each! You can't beat my Whip Viper that way!" Yuya exclaims, wincing from the shock.
"Hmph, at this rate, that's true... But, Royal Cookmates are my perfect recipe, and they'll just keep getting stronger." Michio declares confusing Yuya.
"I activate Princess Pudding's effect! Once per turn, she can double the original attack points of one Royal Cookmate I control!" Michio explains as Prince Curry's attack points increase.
Royal Cookmate Prince Curry (LV.7) (300-600ATK/1000DEF)
"It's Mitchie's set menu!" a housewife cheers.
"That's right! If you have desert with your meal, your happiness doubles!" Ayu exclaims.
"However, Princess Pudding can't attack the turn she activates her effect." Michio explains.
"And now, I activate Knight Napotlitan's effect! Once per turn, he too, can double the original attack points of one Royal Cookmate I control!" Michio explains as his monster powers up again.

"Ooh! A curry and napolitan set! I can accept double with this kind of portion size!" Futoshi says.
"However, Knight Napolitan can't attack the turn he activates his effect." Michio explains.
At that Ayu and Futoshi start drooling before
"You guys! What are you doing drooling when the enemy is getting stronger?" Tatsuya snaps them back to reality.
"Even though big sis Yuya is dueling with all she's got..." Tatsuya tries to say, before hearing Yuya's stomach growl again and falls flat on his face.
"Big sis Yuya!" Tatsuya yells annoyed, making Yuya laugh nervously.
"It seems you have taken a liking to my special menu." Michio says with a slight laugh.
"Yep! I'm certainly drooling. But no matter how delicious it seems, Prince Curry still has less attack points than Whip Viper!" Yuya exclaims, as her monster smirks in agreement.
"Yes... for now... But what happens when we add one more flavor? I activate the Action Magic, Excellent Spice! I can increase the attack points of one monster by 1000 until the end of the turn! Prince Curry! Become even more delicious!" Michio explains as spice falls on his monster making it stronger.

"Battle Phase! Prince Curry attack Whip Viper!" Michio orders as his monster releases its content at Whip Viper, which cries out in pain before being destroyed.

"My, oh my, was that to spicy for you?" Michio asks in a taunting way.
"I end my turn here. At this moment, Excellent Spice, Princess Pudding, and Knight Napolitan's effects wear off and Prince Curry's attack points return to normal." Michio says.

"Heh, are you having your fill of my Cooking Duel?" Michio taunts Yuya.
"My... Turn!" Yuya says as she draws.

"Yes! Time for me to take the offensive!" Yuya thinks as she looks at the card she drew.
"As thanks for earlier, I'll let you have a good taste of my Pendulum Summon!" Yuya tells Michio.
"Using Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya exclaims as her magicians appear.

"It's here!" Ayu and Futoshi cheer.
"Here comes the counter-attack!" Tatsuya exclaims.
"Swing, Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth my monsters! It's up to you, Entermate Trampolynx! Entermate Partnaga! And last but not least, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya chants as her monsters appear.

"Since you all came out of that famous Pendulum Summon, I'd best entertain my guests." Michio says.
"Entertain...?"Yuya exclaims confused.
"Yes. The greatest, of course. When a monster is Summoned or Special Summoned to my opponent's side of the Field, Princess Pudding, Knight Napolitan, and Prince Curry activate their additional effect! Full House of Full Stomachs!" Michio says as his monsters start feeding themselves to Yuya's monsters.
"Ah! It's not fair that only you guys get to eat! I'm starving too!" Yuya exclaims before
"Wait... they give of panic. So that means..." Yuya thinks as she looks at her monsters again, who are now being stuffed full relentlessly.
"More! Eat more! Eat all of my Cooking Monsters!" Michio says at that.
"What... is that?" Tatsuya questions.
"They're forcing it down! That's horrible!" Ayu exclaims.
"The good atmosphere in here is ruined..." Futoshi says as he looks like he is about to throw up.
"It looks like you're so satisfied that you have no regrets to leave this world... By returning Princess Pudding, Knight Napolitan, and Prince Curry to my hand, I can destroy one monster for each card returned by this effect!" Michio says with a smile that contradicts his earlier persona, as Yuya's monsters pop like balloons.
"No way... My monsters... all..." Yuya exclaims at what just happened, before turning to Michio and glaring at him.
At the same time Gongenzaka is training by hauling a bolder over a cliffside.
"I have to improve my Steadfast Dueling now more than ever! Yuya! Don't give up, and win your way to the top!" Gongenzaka thinks as he continuous his training.
Yuya meanwhile curses about what happened to her monsters.
"I set one card... and end my turn." Yuya says as she can do nothing else.
"Big sis Yuya's Pendulum Monsters were... all taken out!" observe in shock.
"But since Michio lost all of his Cooking monsters, aren't they even?" Futoshi asks.
"I wonder about that... Well then, it's my turn. Draw!" Michio says as he starts his turn.

"There are three cards inside the Food Cemetery. All of the prep-work is ready! I activate the effect of my Continuous Magic, Wonder Recipe! This card allows me to Special Summon as many Royal Cookmates from my hand as I have cards inside the Food Cemetery!" Michio explains.
"There are three cards inside the Food Cemetery... so that means all three of the Royal Cookmates from before are going to come back." Yuya says, bracing herself.
"Your order is ready! One Knight Napolitan! One Prince Curry! And one Princess Pudding!" Michio says as his monsters reappear.

"They seem so delicious!" she says as her hunger gets to her.
"I'll let that starving belly of yours have its fill then! You'll take 300 points of damage for each monster Special Summoned by Wonder Recipe!" Michio explains as three bullets of light get fired at Yuya, making her fall over.
Yuya: 2600 - 1700 LP
"How was it? I think it might have been a bit much for your empty stomach..." Michio jests.
"You're doing great, Michio!" Michio's mother cheers.
"But the taste of my perfect recipe is amazing, isn't it?" Michio asks.
"A perfect recipe, huh..." Michio's father wonders, not believing it, after hearing that over his wife's camera feed, before returning his focus to prepping his ingredients.
"At this moment, Knight Napolitan's effect activates! Once per turn, it can double another Royal Cookmates attack points!" Michio says as Prince Curry powers up.

"And after that, I activate the same effect with Princess Pudding! Doubling it again!" Michio says as his monster gains more strength.

"It's another of Mitchie's set menus!" a housewife gushes.
"However, monsters who use this effect cannot attack this turn! Your remaining life points are just 1700. Prince Curry needs a little more seasoning to finish you off." Michio says as Yuya gets back on her feet, and he jumps up a few floating plates.
"Ah, this'll do, how convenient!" Michio says as he spots an action card and picks it up.
"Looks like the Goddess of Cooking is smiling on me! Action Magic, Victory Topping! For the rest of this turn, a monster gains 600 attack points!" Michio exclaims as he activates the card and his monster grows stronger.
Royal Cookmate Prince Curry (LV.7) (1200-1800ATK/1000DEF)
"It's time I put an end to this! Battle Phase! I make a direct attack with Prince Katsu Curry!" Michio declares as his monster charges at Yuya.
"If this attack goes through, big sis Yuya will...!" Tatsuya says worried but
"I activate the Trap, Entermate Call! This card negates a direct attack! I can also add Entermates from my deck to my hand whose total defense points are equal to the attack points of the monster whose attack was negated!" Yuya explains as Prince Curry stops in his tracks, and two cards are ejected from her deck which she adds to her hand.
"Prince Curry's attack points are 1800... so I can add the Cheermole with 1000 defense points and the Turn Toad with 800 defense points to my hand! But, the turn these monsters are summoned, I cannot summon monsters from my Extra Deck!" Yuya continues as she reveals the added cards.
"You negated the direct attack and added monsters to your hand... looks like you've got it after all. Then I shall as well... activate a Trap, Food Preservation Method! When my opponent adds cards to their hand outside their Draw Phase, I can choose the same amount of Cookmate cards from my deck and put them inside the Food Cemetery!" Michio exclaims as he activates his trap.
"With that, I add Cookmate Linion and Cookmate Rabbitomato into the Food Cemetery!" Michio says as said monsters appear and vanish inside the Food Cemetery.
"He's added cards to the food Cemetery again!" Yuya observes in shock.
"Furthermore, I activate the Magic Card, Meal Ticket Abuse! Adding two Royal Cookmates from my deck to my hand! The cards I'm adding to my hand are Royal Cookmate King Hamburg and Royal Cookmate Queen Omelette!" Michio explains as he holds up his new cards.
"He got two more Royal Cookmates to his hand..." Yuya observes frustrated.
"What do you think of my fabulous prep-work? However, the monsters added to my hand by this effect cannot be summoned this turn. I end my turn with that. At this point, Victory Topping, Princess Pudding, and Knight Napolitan's effects wear off... and Prince Curry's attack points return to normal." Michio explains as he ends his turn and his monster weakens again.

"If it's come to this, I've got to bet it all on an Action Card!" Yuya thinks as she rushes off to get one. However when she jumps upward to reach a card her stomach growls.
"I can't do it! I'm so hungry, my stength is..." she thinks as she falls and lands on her back before she can even touch the card.
"Sheesh, that's what you get for running out without eating breakfast!" Yoko chides as she walks into the stands and tosses a package at Yuya.
"Mom! Why are you-" Yuya asks as she catches it but
"Hurry up and eat that and get to it!" Yoko tells her.
"Awesome! It's Mom's pancakes! Time to eat!" Yuya says when she sees the packages content with bright eyes and a bit of drool.
"Wait... is this?" Yuya murmurs as she sees something inside the pancakes.
"It's a sandwich using the Mille-Feuille Tonkatsu you didn't eat!" Yoko says as Yuya keeps eating.
"It's delicious!" Yuya says as she tears up from the taste and the relief that she can finally fill her stomach.
"I made that Mille-Feuille Tonkatsu using Mitchie's recipe so it's perfect, isn't it? And to add to it, I put it between some pancakes!" Yoko explains.
"She added something to my perfect recipe!?" Michio asks shocked.
"Perfect..." Yuya murmurs before she looks at her hand and realizes something. She then swallows the last bit of the pancakes and gets up.
"All right, charge complete! Now with the already set Pendulum Scale, I can summon monsters from Level Two through Seven!" Yuya exclaims.
"Don't do it! If you summon them they'll just get destroyed again!" Tatsuya says distressed.
"Swing Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth my monsters! Entermate Cheermole! And Entermate Turn Toad!" Yuya chants as her monsters appear.

By returning Knight Napolitan and Princess Pudding to my hand, I destroy Cheermole and Turn Toad!" Michio explains as his monsters stuff Yuya's full until they pop like balloons.
"How do you like my hospitality?" Michio asks Yuya in an ironic way.
"You just destroyed them! You call that hospitality?" Tatsuya exclaims.
"That's right!" Ayu agrees.
"It's awful!" Futoshi chimes in.
Meanwhile Michio just laughs.
"Pendulum Monsters are not sent to the Graveyard, but are instead put into my Extra Deck." Yuya explains as she puts the destroyed monsters in her Extra Deck.
"I set one card and end my turn!" Yuya says as her facedown materializes.
Meanwhile Sora wins another duel using Death-Toy Scissors Bear.
"See that? Two wins in a row!" Sora exclaims excited but when he looks toward Yuzu his excitement turns to irritation.
"You're spacing out again!" Sora tells her.
"I-I'm not! I saw all of it!" Yuzu insists, but Sora doesn't believe her one bit.

"My turn! Draw!" Michio says as he starts his turn.

"That's right my Michio is flawless! He's perfect!" Michio's mother says.
"Now then, there are five cards inside of Food Cemetery, and so with the effect of the Continuous Magic, Wonder Recipe I can summon four more Royal Cookmates! Your order is ready! One King Hamburg! One Queen Omelette! And one Knight Napolitan and one Princess Pudding!" Michio explains as his monsters appear.

"Curry, Hamburg Steak, Omelette and Napolitan and Pudding too! I wouldn't be able to finish all of that!" Futoshi says as he looks at the monsters drooling with stars in his eyes, much to his friend annoyance.
"First, I'll offer you the hospitality of Wonder Recipe's effect by giving you 300 points of damage per monster Special Summoned by this effect!" Michio exclaims as his new monsters fire bullets of light at Yuya.

"Yuya!" Yoko calls worried.
"Yuya's worked hard, but with all five Royal Cookmates out, this is the end..." the principal says as he lowers his head.
"I activate Knight Napolitan's effect! This monster can double the attack points of another Royal Cookmate once per turn!" Michio says as Prince Curry gets stronger.

"Battle Phase! I make a direct attack with Prince Curry! Golden Royal Cook Family Curry Plate!" Michio orders as his monster fires its now golden content at Yuya.
"Golden... Curry!?" Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi exclaim shocked.
Yuya is holding her head down but then looks up and smiles. The attack hits and smoke erupts. Yuya's seeming defeat shocking the children and Yoko.
"My, my, it took a bit of work, but she was no match for my perfect recipe!" Michio says before the smoke starts clearing.
Standing there was Yuya unharmed and with a silver shield in front of her.
"Big sis Yuya!" Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi cheer, and Yoko smiles.
"Why!? This can't be! Why do you have life points left!?" Michio asks shocked.
"I activated my Trap, Trick Buster! Since you attacked me while I control no monsters I was able to put a stop to your attack! Well not exactly, Trick Buster destroys all your monsters!" Yuya explains as the shield turns into five swords that impale Michio's monsters and destroy them.
At that Michio grunts in frustration, but it wasn't over yet.
"Also you take 300 points of damage for every monster that my trap just destroyed!" Yuya adds as the portal to the Graveyard opens and five rays of lightning burst out and strike Michio.

"I... end my turn." Michio says as the reality of what just happened hits him.
"My turn! Draw!" Yuya says as she starts her final turn.

With this I am once again able to summon multiple monsters from Level Two to Seven all at the same time! Swing Pendulum of the soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth my monster!" Yuya chants.
"You're using Pendulum Summoning when you only have one card in your hand, so that's no different than a regular Summon!" Michio exclaims.
"Your attention, please! I'm going to introduce our Pendulum monster patiently waiting inside of my Extra Deck!" Yuya declares.
"Th-the Extra Deck!?" Michio exclaims shocked.
"Our leading actor, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya says as her dragon reappears with a mighty roar.

"Shivers!" Futoshi says while wiggling around.

"So Pendulum Summoning was the addition needed for this." Yoko exclaims.
"Amazing! She anticipated her opponents strategy and used it against him, and now is about to land the final blow!" Nico exclaims excited.
"Quite impressive indeed!" the principal comments, as Michio's mother gives them both a side glare.
"I-I'm going to lose?! My perfect recipe is going to...!!" Michio questions as the reality finally sinks in.
"There is no such thing as a perfect recipe! In fact it was exactly that which made you predictable enough for me to counter!" Yuya explains.
Hearing that Michio's eyes shoot open and he remembers almost the exact same words from his father.
"Always adding more..." Michio murmurs.
"Battle Phase! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attack him directly! Spiral Strike Burst!" Yuya calls as her dragon blasts Michio.
"It's my loss..." Michio says as he smiles and the attack hits.

"She did it!" Ayu cheers.
"She got her first win!" Tatsuya adds.
"Shivery shivers!" Futoshi says wiggling around.
"Thanks for the meal!" Yuya says as the action field deactivates.
"Michio! This can't be right! Your perfect recipe couldn't have been defeated!" Michio's mother says as she walks over to him.
"Mama... this time I did lose." Michio admits calmly, surprising her.
"Big sis Yuya!" Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi says as they rush over to her.
"You gave me the shivers!" Futoshi exclaims.
"Yuya! You won this time! But after this, I'll add more to my recipe and press onward!" Michio says as he walks over to her.
"Then I'll just have to stay ahead of you!" Yuya tells him.
"I'm looking forward to facing you again in the Junior Youth Championship!" Michio says as he shakes her hand.
"Yeah!" Yuya replies, but then her stomach growls.
"Looks like those pancake sandwitches from before weren't enough!" Yoko exclaims as she walks over to them.
"Then how about I make you something? Will you accept my hospitality?" Michio offers.
"O-of course!" Yuya replies with a blush.
"Mitchie himself is going to make us some food, great!" Yoko squeals much to her daughters embarrassment.
"Sory..." Yuya whispers to Michio with a sigh, as he just chuckles.
