Episode 3: Rainbow Sisters
In a collection of lights near the Evans Residence, Kameron, Pyrope, Citrine, and Onyx emerged to their home.
Upon their return the boys put their whistles away and walked toward the front door. Reaching into his pocket Kameron pulled out his keys and placed his house-key into the upper-lock and the bottom-lock. Turning the locks Kameron soon opened the door with his brothers going inside first. Stepping inside, Kameron closed the door behind him and re-locked it.
Going into the house the boys' Gemstones immediately started glowing. Pyrope stepped ahead of his brothers and made his way passing the large couch. Ahead of him his eyes turned to the left, giving him a good view of a huge staircase in front of him. Turning his head to his brothers he jerked it upwards before putting his foot on the second step and making his way up. The others three soon followed him, making their way pass the couch and toward the stairs.
Going up the rest of the brothers arrived onto the second-floor of the house. Turning their bodies they spotted a large door several feet ahead of them. Walking up to it Pyrope stretched his arm out and grabbed the knob before opening it.
On the other side of the door Pyrope turned his head and pulled out his index finger. Moving his arm it soon made contact onto a solid surface before he lowered it onto a row of switches.
Flick
Pushing the switch in the middle up a flash of light illuminated the area. To the right a long, long, long flat rectangle of silver was placed with eight sinks installed in it. Next to the sinks were eight clear empty jars housing a toothbrush in a different color and a tube of toothpaste. Above the jars laid the largest and widest mirror to have ever been placed onto a surface wall. In it's reflection laid a humongous tub with a large shower head on top, a white shower curtain with black diamond-patterns on it, several containers of shampoo and body-wash, and a large ring hanging on the wall with eight loofahs placed on it's hangers.
Walking onto the tile-flooring the four brothers went inside and closed the door. Going up to the sinks the four of them looked down at the soap-dispensers near the jars and tapped on them with one hand, getting a small amount of soap placed into their other hands. Turning the water on the boys clasped their hands together and started scrubbing them, covering each hand in a good chunk of bubbly soap. Once their hands were soapy they placed them underneath the running water and continued scrubbing them.
Raising his head, Kameron locked his eyes onto his reflection. His lips curved down seeing the bags developing under his eyes as they slowly twitched. From left to right he looked at his brothers, seeing no such bags under their eyes. Closing his eyes Kameron rocked his head several times before reopening them and turning off his sink. Grabbing a small towel near the faucet he began drying his hands and letting out a small gush of air from his nose.
"Guys..." Kameron said, breaking the silence.
His voice entered the ears of his brothers, making them turn their heads. This...really wasn't the best time after...what just happened, but at the same time Kameron felt that he needed to get this off of his chest.
"I... I have a date next weekend." Kameron said softly.
Pyrope, Citrine, and Onyx turned off their sinks at the words their little brother had just said. Silence returned around them as the three brothers grabbed their towels at dried their hands. He has a date next weekend. Their little brother Kameron...has a date...next weekend.
Putting his towel down Kameron felt his body jerk forward at the sudden weight placed on his head. Turning his eyes he looked up to see Citrine smiling down on him while softly rubbing his head.
"Congratulations." Citrine said softly.
Kameron hummed at his largest brother rubbing his head. Although it did feel kinda nice and the odd sensation of a large finger going through your hair felt pretty good.
Citrine soon removed his finger off of Kameron's head, ending the wonderful sensation. A sudden new sensation sent goosebumps through Kameron's whole body, making him jerk his head to the left. Pyrope placed his hand on his little brother's shoulder while grinning at him.
"What's her name?" Pyrope asked.
"E-Elizabeth. Elizabeth Diaz." Kameron replied.
Pyrope hummed and tapped on his brother's shoulder a few times. A few snickers left his mouth. Would ya look at that? Kameron actually managed to get himself a date.
"Can I trust you guys not to tell the girls?" Kameron asked.
Pyrope soon sucked in some air into his mouth and slightly groaned. He kept his hand on Kameron's shoulder as he turned to look at his other brothers. Citrine lightly winced at him while slowly rocking his head back and forth. Onyx...merely blinked at him with a nonchalant expression. His standard look, but not necessarily helping the situation right now.
"That's...gonna be tough, lil bro." Pyrope replied. "We can't make any promises on that."
Kameron groaned as he lowered his eyes to the sink. This was a big deal. A HUGE deal for him...and yet it won't end too well if the girls find out.
"We will try our best to keep this a secret, Kameron." Onyx said, gaining Kameron's attention.
Kameron rapidly blinked at him, "Really?"
Onyx nodded.
"But...like Pyrope said, we can't make any promises. Plus, they're gonna find out soon." Citrine pointed out.
"I know. And I'll tell them. But, I wanna wait for the right time until it comes." Kameron replied.
Pyrope soon tapped Kameron shoulder and began walking passed him to the door. Grabbing onto the knob he twisted it and opened it up before walking out.
Citrine and Onyx soon followed him after, leaving Kameron the last one left. Reaching the door he stretched his arm out to the wall and placed his finger onto the row of switches.
Flick
Closing the door behind him Kameron watched all three of his brother head to the right in the hallway as he himself headed to the left. Lifting his head he spotted a door with a sideways diamond shape at the center and an image of a butterfly within it. Grabbing the door's knob he twisted it and opened it up, heading inside.
Closing the door behind him the light from Kameron's Gemstone started to dim slightly. Within the room there was a large bed to the right with a single pillow and a diamond-patterned blanket. Next to the bed and Kameron laid a wooden drawer with a large lamp placed on it. On the other side of the bed was a larger wooden drawer with two small knobs at the top and five knobs at the center going down.
Near the edge of the bed housed a large window with closed blinds and small amounts of moonlight shining through it. In front of the window there was a large TV on a long table with the remote sitting in front of it. Four video game controllers laid around it and the console sitting near the bottom of the TV. To the left of the window laid a large desk with a wheeled chair next to it. On the desk there was another large lamp sitting on the left side of the corner and at the center was a large drawing book with a box of colored pencils. Within the wheeled chair Kameron spotted his backpack sitting in it.
Taking off his shoes, Kameron soon took off his jacket and threw it at his chair alongside his shirt. Grabbing his blanket he got into his bed and pulled out his phone. A promise was a promise.
The light of the sun shined itself through Kameron's window, illuminating the room around him. Within his bed Kameron's chest slowly rose up and down as snores exited his mouth.
RING! RING! RING! RING!
Kameron's eyes soon shot open at the echoing sounds entering his ears. Turning his head his eyes soon narrowed as he groaned at the sight of his phone rumbling. Removing his arm from his blanket he reached out for his phone and silenced it. Putting it back on the drawer Kameron let out a yawn as he stretched out arms before getting himself out of bed.
Standing up he grabbed his pants off the floor and walked over to grab his shirt off of his chair. Walking over to the other side of his bed he opened his laundry basket and threw his clothes in there. Closing the lid he turned his body to his large drawer and started picking out new clothing. Going back over he grabbed his phone and walked right out of the room.
Walking to the left his eyes lightly twitched while he headed toward a large door near the stairs. Approaching it he placed his clothes and phone into his left arm and soon grabbed the knob with his right. As he grabbed it his eyes soon shot open. Slowly releasing his hand from the knob he soon raised it up to the door.
*Knock Knock*
"Yeah?" Said a soft feminine voice on the other side.
"Are you almost done in there?" Kameron replied.
...
Instead of getting a response the large door soon opened itself up. Right behind the door there was an indigo-skinned woman. She had short indigo hair with a long cheek-length bang covering the right side of her face, obscuring her right eye while her only showing her left eye with it's indigo-colored pupil. The woman wore a short light black vest, showing her whole stomach, with light purple jeans equipped with a white belt and black boots. Most notably on the woman's left ear there was a bird-shaped earring made of silver.
Behind the woman there were three other girls near the sinks.
The first was a yellow-skinned woman with golden-eyes. She had long blonde hair styled in a ponytail. On top of her head there was a brown western hat with a silver bird symbol placed at it's center. The woman wore a dark-brown buttoned shirt with light-blue jeans equipped with a brown belt, brown fingerless gloves, and brown western boots. Lastly, right on the woman's right shoulder laid a small yellow Gemstone.
The second was a tall blue-skinned woman with dark-blue eyes. She had dark-blue hair styled into two braids hanging down until they ended right onto her chest. She wore a white sleeveless shirt with long white pants equipped with a light-blue belt and white opened-toed sandles. On the woman's wrists there were two silver bracelets with two silver bird symbols on each end. Visibly, there laid a large blue Gemstone at the bottom of the woman's neck in the shape of a water droplet.
The last one was a young pink-skinned woman with light pink eyes. She had long pink hair ending at the middle of her back with a white hair-clip at the top. She wore a white T-shirt with a large image of a pink bird at it's center and light-blue jeans equipped with a pink belt and pink and white sneakers.
Seeing the four women Kameron groaned at how occupied the bathroom had gotten. Great... This was one of the many, many drawbacks of having a massive bathroom.
Just as Kameron was about to turn around the indigo woman walked to him, wrapping both of her arms around him as she placed her head onto his neck.
"Good morning, little brother." The indigo woman said with a soft voice.
At the sound of her voice Kameron's cheeks began to feel warm. No matter how many times she does this to him it always ends with the same reaction. Nonetheless, he wrapped his free arm around her waist.
"G-Good morning, Charoite." Kameron replied.
Releasing herself from him, Charoite pushed her head to her little brother's face, pressing her lips right onto Kameron's cheek. A small gasp left Kameron's mouth while Charoite pulled away. Her lips curved upwards as she watched her little brother's cheek get redder and redder.
It made him look so adorable.
"Little brother!" The pink girl said as she passed the other girls and jogged up to Kameron.
The pink girl rapidly wrapped her arms around him, making him gasp and taking a step back from her immense strength. With every passing second her hold on him increased. Small grunts began leaving Kameron's mouth the longer the pink girl remained on him. His eyes then started rolling to the back of his head while his cheeks started turning blue.
Luckily...the pink girl's hold on him started decreasing, allowing him to exhale out a large amount of air and having his cheek return to their default color. Any more of this and Kameron would've met his grave a lot sooner than before it's time.
The pink girl then pulled herself away from Kameron and placed her hands onto his cheeks, squishing them.
"Aw, it's so good to see you. Did you sleep well?" The pink girl asked.
"Uh... Yeah, Lepidolite. I slept fine." Kameron replied.
Pushing her head forward Lepidolite landed a barrage of kisses onto Kameron's cheeks. With each peck she placed on him Kameron groaned more and more until she put his arm on her and pushed her away gently.
"Alright, alright! I love you too, sis, but this is too much." Kameron said with irritation.
The blue-skinned woman soon approached the two with several giggles leaving her mouth. Hearing her giggles Kameron raised his head up to her. The blue-skinned woman soon walked up to Kameron, wrapping her arms around his back and pushing him to her. Lowering her head her lips curved up as she gazed down at her brother's head resting in her bosom.
"Good morning, dearest brother." The blue-skinned woman said softly.
Kameron let out a sigh and wrapped an arm around her waist. Just from the sound of her voice...his worries and troubles slowly began to fade away.
"Good morning, Azurite." Kameron replied.
Removing his head from her bosom, Azurite softly caressed her younger brother's cheeks. Her cheeks slowly began to turn dark-blue the more she looked at him.
"The spirits have told me something rather...interesting last night." Azurite said. "Is there something you want to tell us, dear brother?"
At that exact moment, Kameron's eyes shot open. His body stood directly still as he gathering every single word Azurite had just said to him.
CRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap!
WHY!? Why in the name of everything did he forget about that!? Why!? Why did Kameron forget that there was absolutely nothing he could hide from his sisters!? AAHHHHHHH!
Charoite and Lepidolite turned to their brother with questionable expressions. There was something that he wanted to tell them?
Kameron gulped as Azurite released his face, but that alone didn't stop his entire face from burning up so quickly. Great! Just great! This is what he exactly needed this morning!
"Uhh... I-It's...I-I-It's not that important." Kameron said. His voice beginning to shake.
"Oh really?" The yellow-skinned woman said with a southern accent, approaching him. "Ya know, it ain't nice keepin' things from ya sisters. So ya might as well fess up."
Kameron slowly backed away from her. With every step his heart began to beat at a faster rate. His cheeks soon turned completely red the more he stared at the yellow-skinned woman. Unfortunately...with his last step Kameron lightly gasped, hitting a wall right behind him.
The yellow-skinned slowly walked up to him. Once she got up close she raised up her right arm and slammed her hand right on the wall next to her little brother's head. He flinched at her sudden action while her face slowly got dangerously close to his. Her eyes narrowed at him while her lips curved down the more she continued looking at him.
"Amber, please." Kameron asked weakly.
"Fess up and this stops. That's all ya gotta do. Otherwise..." Amber replied as she raised her other hand. Raising out her index finger small sparks of electricity began popping out. "...Ya ain't gonna like the second option."
Kameron gulped. There were only two options in this scenario. Either A: Tell them what was going on. Or B: Face the second option. The second option was the worst. it never leads to anything good. Never.
If only his brothers were here right now...
PING!
The sound quickly echoed in the area, catching everyone off-guard.
Amber soon moved away from her brother with her sparks vanishing. Reaching into her pocket Amber, her sisters, and her brother saw a Gem Icon pop on their phones and quickly tapped onto them, giving them a location on the map.
Amber soon clicked her tongue and put her phone away, "Ya got lucky, hun."
Kameron let out a long sigh as his face was cooling down. "I'm gonna go shower. I'll meet you girls there." Kameron replied, walking pass his sisters to get to the bathroom.
"You're gonna miss First Period again." Lepidolite pointed out.
Turning around Kameron looked at his sister with his free and on the door. "I'm not gonna ignore this."
With the bathroom door closed the four sisters reached into their pockets and pulled out their whistles. In a complete synchronicity the four sisters placed their whistles into their mouths and blew into them. One by one their bodies were then engulfed in their respected colors until they ultimately vanished.
In a blinding flash of light the four sisters soon arrived at their destination.
Up above there were dark gray clouds covering the skies. Crackles and rumbles echoed among the clouds with small flashes popping out of them. Around the sisters showed large bricked buildings and several dumpsters in the corners. Ahead the sisters caught glimpses of people walking by without any worry or concern.
Amber hummed as she lifted her head to the sky. Her eyes soon narrowed once she placed her head down and locked her eyes onto a nearby dumpster. Stepping away from her sisters Amber jogged up to the dumpster and leaped into the air. Landing on the dumpster she bent her legs again until she jumped once more, rapidly heading straight into the air like a rocket.
Watching her sister go Azurite's Gemstone let out a small blue glow. On her back two large wings made of water erupted out and gave off a small flap. Raising up her wings she flapped them and ascended to the skies, following her sister.
Charoite and Lepidolite turned their heads toward one another. They both nodded and dashed up to a nearby dumpster. Charoite quickly jumped right on top of the dumpster before pushing her back. In the air she rotated her body as she was coming in close to the other side of the wall. Her feet soon made contact with the wall until she bent her knees and pushed herself forward. Getting a boost from the wall Charoite greatly ascended upwards, making her way to the top. Lepidolite soon followed after, mimicking her sister's movements, but as she pushed herself from the opposite wall she held her arms while her body started spinning and rotating.
At the top Amber took a few steps forward until she planted her boot onto the edge. Behind her Azurite slowly descended from the sky, landing down and dismissing her wings. Not falling behind Charoite and Lepidolite shortly arrived after, approaching their sisters.
Coming up to Amber the four sisters turned their gaze down below. From left to right they watched a myriad of people among the sidewalks and vehicles passing by. At the edge of a corner they spotted a man giving out food to several people and a group of girls wiping towels onto a car at the other corner. The sisters continued watching with solemn expressions. By the looks of it, nothing too out of the ordinary was going on. Everything looked normal...for the most part. Even the atmosphere around them had a positive vibe going on.
In a flash a burst of light soon erupted near the sisters, causing them to turn their heads to see Kameron's arrival.
"Anything I missed?" Kameron asked.
Lepidolite shook her head, "We just got here and so far there hasn't been anything happening."
BOOM!
Right after Lepidolite spoke the siblings soon flinched at the sudden rumble. Coming up to the edge Kameron along with his sister looked down below to see multiple people frozen in place. Turning their heads the siblings squinted their eyes at a cloud of smoke in the distance.
Without a word Kameron raised his hand to his goggles and lowered them onto his eyes. Lifting up his foot he planted it onto the edge and pushed himself right off of it.
The sisters gasped, directing their attention right onto their little brother rising into the air with his arms stretched behind him.
Rotating his body Kameron then crashed right onto the concrete below and stormed his way through the streets.
Each of the sisters sighed in annoyance at the actions of their brother and soon followed him.
Dodging several civilians Kameron turned his body as he stretched his left leg on the ground, sliding among the concrete and coming to a complete stop. Right in front of him laid a large grey creature with large arms and legs. It sported a tail with small bumps at it's tip and a long spike at it's end. Moreso, there were some small hexagonal shapes on it's shoulders. Looking at it's face Kameron saw that it had absolutely no eyes, only a mouth and a large gray Gemstone on it's forehead.
The creature snarled as it made it's way to a nearby car and as it raised up it's arms it soon brought them right on top of the car, smashing it with incredible strength.
Near the creature a small group of people wearing armor and helmets approached it, raising their weapons right at it. Right when the creature turned it's head the people unleashed a barrage of bullets right at it. One by one each bullet landed right onto the creature's body, leaving a large amount of holes on it. The group soon stopped firing once the creature stumbled a few inches back, however...the fresh holes on the creature were then closing themselves up and disappearing, as if they never existed in the first place.
The creature unleashed an animalistic roar and grabbed the car it just destroyed before throwing it straight at the group. Upon seeing it come to them the group quickly move out of the way right when the car crashed right at the spot they previously were in.
The creature then planted it's arms onto the ground and pushed itself toward the group. Right when it was about to make contact with it's target the creature's body suddenly changed direction, moving itself away from the group and instead heading straight for a damaged vehicle.
The group turned their heads to see Kameron landing on the ground, locking eyes on the creature. He then dashed right toward it before jumping into the air and stretching out his leg. Coming in closing the creature raised up one of it's arms and quickly grabbed onto Kameron's leg. Lifting him up Kameron laid upside-down while the creature brought him close to it's face. Snarls exited it's mouth as it reeled Kameron to it's stomach before throwing him away.
Rolling through the air Kameron gawked once his back impacted a streetlight and making him fall to the ground. Several grunts exited Kameron's mouth as he slowly pushed himself off of the ground, but right when he turned his body the creature came rushing toward him, stretching out it's fist at him.
The sheer force from the punch Kameron far away from it. However, the creature turned itself around and stretched it's tail out, coiling it around Kameron's leg and pulling him back. Twisting it's body the creature's tail soon unraveled itself around Kameron's leg while airborne, bringing him right up to a brick wall. Kameron's eyes shot open as he gawked from the impact. His body soon began lowering itself until he smashed right into the sidewalk.
Up above the clouds soon got darker than they were earlier and soon...the droplets started coming down. Crackles and rumbles made their way through the clouds until a huge clap burst into the atmosphere.
Small grunts left Kameron as his body was getting drenched. His head soon jerked forward several while his fingers gripped into the concrete landscape. Lifting his head the creature stretched it's arm out, grabbing Kameron's head in it's grasp.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Screams exploded right out of Kameron's mouth the more pressure the creature added onto it.
Underneath the creature's feet a huge burst of water rose out of the puddles and wrapped itself around it's arm, jerking itself away and freeing Kameron's head. He collapsed onto the wet ground and turned to his side as his body continued getting drenched. The creature attempted to reach him with it's other arm, but another burst of water rose underneath it, wrapping itself around the arm.
Soon after the water tightened itself onto the creature's arms and reeled it away from Kameron. Lifting it into the air the water soon released itself from the creature's arms as it soon crashed right into a wall behind it. Coming off of the wall the creature's body lowered until it fell onto the soaked sidewalk.
Raising his head Kameron spotted four figures running up to him. His lips curved as he looked at them while pushing himself onto his knees. "Glad you girls came when you did."
Charoite and Lepidolite quickly dropped onto their knees and wrapped their arms around their little brother. He winced at their embrace, but welcomed it anyway.
"Kameron. How many times do we 'ave ta tell ya not ta go off on ya own like that?" Amber said sternly.
Charoite and Lepidolite soon released themselves from him. They both narrowed their eyes at him with small groans exiting their mouths.
"A lot." Kameron admitted.
"You should've waited for us." Charoite said sternly.
"We flock together. That's what being a Rainbow Gem means. Understand?" Lepidolite added.
Kameron gave her a nod before turning to see Azurite having her back face him.
"For now, allow your big sisters to finish this. I will help you once we are finished." Azurite said.
Kameron groaned. Sure, he got the crap beaten out of him, but he can still keep going. But...using his head at the moment...Kameron soon began reconsidering that option. It was a better choice in the long run.
"Okay. You girls can step in. I'll tuck my wings for now." Kameron replied.
Standing up Charoite and Lepidolite turned around and approached Azurite, standing next to her side by side.
Looking at her brother one last time Amber clicked her tongue and turned her attention onto the creature, coming up to her sisters and standing right next to Lepidolite.
The creature raised itself up and standing before it laid four women narrowing their eyes at it. Letting out a howl the creature charged right at them. Splashing through the water the creature leaped into the air, raising it's arm above it's head.
Lepidolite walked in front of her sisters, watching the creature coming at them. Standing her ground she raised her head at the approaching creature and slowly opened her mouth.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Opening her mouth wide, Lepidolite unleashed an ear-piercing wail, breaking the glass of the broken vehicles, rupturing the water around her, and making everyone around her cover their ears for dear life. On contact the screeching wail greatly pushed the creature away from them, hitting the same wall right behind it. Lepidolite soon halted her wail and closed her mouth, letting out a small sigh.
Getting up the creature turned it's head and if it was able to see then it would've spotted Charoite coming right toward it. Stopping in her tracks she twisted her body and summoned out her leg, throwing it right at the creature's face. Twisting her body again and again, she continuously threw her leg at it several more times until she stopped and jumped at it, aiming her knee at it's chin. Still airborne, Charoite rotated her body over the creature until she landed right behind it.
Turning around the creature reeled it's arm back and launched right at Charoite. She stood in place, watching the fist coming right at her until...it went right through her. The fist literally went right through her body, only...she didn't receive any pain. Her expression remained solemn as she continued looking at it right as it pulled it's back and threw it again. No change was given from the secondary attack, which in turn had Charoite move to the side, having the rest of the creature's fist pass her until she twisted her body and aimed her leg at it again.
Snarls and growls exited the creature right when it raised both arms at her, but once it did that the water below it shot out and grasped onto the arms.
Azurite stepped forward with her left arm raised out. Twisting her arm she curled her fingers, pulling the water holding the creature to her. Turning it around she lifted the creature into the air and soon threw it into the sky.
Amber soon bent her legs all the way as she lowered herself to the drenched concrete and quickly brought herself up, launching herself right into the sky. Her eyes locked right onto her target as she got closer and closer to it. Reeling her arm back as sparks of electricity began coiling around it, she soon threw it right at the creature. At the center of her palm a surge of lightning emerged right out of it, heading straight for the creature.
BZZT! BZZT! BZZT BZZT! POOF!
On impact the creature's body started twisting and jerking itself around in the air. Howls began exiting out of it's mouth as loud as it could manage until...it's body was destroyed, leaving only it's Gemstone behind.
Seeing it fall to her Amber stretched her arm out, grabbing the Gemstone while she too began descending to the ground. Rotating her body she soon crashed right into the road before lifting herself up. She then placed the gray Gemstone into a yellow bubble and tapped the top of it, making it disappear.
With the threat taken care of the sisters turned their eyes onto Kameron, whom had his back again a wall with his hood over his head.
Coming down onto one knee Azurite raised out her left hand in front of her brother's face. Within her left palm lied another Gemstone in the shape of a hexagon. The Gemstone illuminated a blue glow and from it the bruises on Kameron's face started glowing blue as well. Little by little the bruises began to vanish and disappear where they were first made. Shortly after...Kameron's face showed no more injuries.
Letting out a small moan, Kameron twisted his head left to right. "Thanks, Azurite."
"You are welcome, brother." Azurite replied. She then raised her hand out to him, to which Kameron place his into before she pulled him up. "Now, I believe it's time for you to go to school."
Kameron nodded as he pulled out his whistle.
"When ya get home ya tell us what ya what ta tell us. Ya hear?" Amber told him.
Kameron nodded as he placed the whistle into his mouth and blew into it. A green light soon surrounded him until he disappeared.
