Episode 25: On The Prowl

Angela POV

One Year Ago

Okay... Okay... This is a new year. That means there's gonna be some new changes. New people to meet. Opportunities to make friends. And the chance to make my mark. ...And make sure Chelsea stays out of trouble...again.

*sigh*

RING! RING! RING! RING! RING!

At the sound of the bell ringing the teacher stood up from her desk. In front of her stood a large stack of papers. From left to right my eyes turned to the rest of the students. Most held onto their pencils, some kept fidgeting with every passing second, some started sweating, and some even started chattering their teeth. My eyes soften at most of them. The beginning of the school year and already, pressure started seething in. Although...turning my head to the right there was one person that didn't look all too worried.

The guy was tanned-skinned with short dark-brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a maroon jacket over a light red shirt, dark-brown jeans, brown shoes, and a brown belt. The guy laid back in his chair while crossing his arms and showing off a smug expression. His eyes darted over to the others, though they were mostly aimed at girls. His smug expression grew, giving the girls and even me a wink. The girls blushed and sighed, looking at him with dreamy expressions. I...just looked away. Ugh... Don't know the guy, but I already dislike him.

"Okay, Freshman. Today we are going to go over a selection of words and putting them into sentences." The teacher said. She stood up from her chair and picked up the stacks of papers. Walking over to us she began passing out the papers and putting them onto our desks. "I don't care what sentences you make, so long as they are appropriate and short. You all have until the end of class to complete this. No cheating and no copying from others. Understood?" She added.

"Yes, ma'am." We all replied.

Passing out the last paper, the teacher walked back to her desk, but right when she was about to take her seat-

*DOOR VIOLENTLY OPENING*

Our classroom door got opened up, making me jump and turn to alongside everyone else.

"Teacher! A goth and two cheerleaders are fighting in the hallway!" The student said frantically.

A goth...? No... Dammit, Chelsea! One day! ONE DAY WITHOUT CAUSING TROUBLE! IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK!?

Getting up from my seat I locked my eyes onto the door and my body started moving on it's own. Passing by the student I increased my momentum and made my way down the halls. Taking a left turn I slowly decreased my momentum as my eyes took notice of the event up ahead.

My sister reeled her arm back and threw it at one of the cheerleaders, knocking them out. She then rapidly turned her head toward the other cheerleader. The other cheerleader turned around and attempted to run off, but Chelsea reached out her arm and grabbed onto the cheerleader's ponytail. Pulling it back the cheerleader spun around just before Chelsea threw a fist at her, knocking her to the floor.

"CHELSEA!" I yelled, coming to a complete stop.

Hearing my voice she turned her head and looked at me. Her chest rose up and down, staring at me with an intense glare. I saw large red marks on her face. My attention shifted from her to the unconscious girls on the tiles. Glaring at my sister I marched right up to her and grabbed her arm while walking away from the area. Getting a good grip on her arm I increased my movement and kept glaring at her while switching back to what was in front of me. Chelsea didn't say a word or showed any resistance. I wasn't too surprised, yet part of me thought she wanted me to do this.

Taking a right turn I found a Women's restroom and burst right in it. Once the door closed I let go of my sister and she walked right over to the last stall before placing her back against the wall.

"Why?" I asked firmly.

Chelsea shrugged. "I needed to blow off some steam." She added.

I shook my head and placed my hands on my hips. Here we go...again. "Okay. Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is for me to keep having these conversations with you? Over and over, and over again?" I asked.

Chelsea turned her head away, "Then stop. Stop lecturing your sister over and over, and over again."

"You think I enjoy doing this!?" I yelled, approaching her. "You think I like baling you out or yelling at you? No! You think mom likes this?! You think dad would be proud of you for acting this way!?"

Chelsea soon pushed herself off of the wall and got dangerously close to my face. "Don't open that book, sis."

I closed my eyes and sighed.

"Just stay out of my business and you won't take a fall." Chelsea said.

I reopened my eyes. "I don't want you getting in trouble. For one day can you please find a different outlet then punching somebody?"

Chelsea groaned and looked away from me. Honestly...I love her, but...how long is this gonna go?

Chelsea then looked back at me, "I won't make any promises. But... I'll try."

I sighed. "Thank you."

*BANGING SOUNDS*

At the echoing roar of the door getting pounded, Chelsea and I turned our eyes to the door.

"Chelsea Park. My office. Now." Principal Owens said on the other side.

My sister and I turned to each other.

"Well...looks like I'm coming home late." Chelsea said.

"I'll talk to mom. Please... Please try to find a better outlet." I replied.

Chelsea shrugged and walked pass me. I watched her go and turned to the sink and mirror. Raising up my hand I placed it onto my face and groaned. I'm not always gonna be there for her.

Suddenly I heard a door open. Turning my head I noticed one of the stalls opening up and a girl with a lot of silver came out. From her widened eyes and slightly opened mouth, she heard everything.

"I'm sorry you heard that." I said to her.

She shook her head. "No. No, it's okay. I mean...it's not, but..." She turned her head away for a moment before turning it back. "I'm Brittney."

I blinked at her. "Angela."

Brittney walked up next to me and brought out a small silver bag. "I think you need a makeover."

I blinked at her again. I just met her and she's offering me a makeover?

"Uh... Thank you, but...I gotta get back to class." I said.

Brittney shook her head. "Not without me doing your hair you're not. Besides, I've been hearing about this guy with green hair. I wanna be his friend, but I don't wanna face him alone. So...we're gonna face him while showing off my work."

Wait... Guy with green hair... Before I could even speak Brittney brought out a comb and some eye-liner.

How did my Freshman Year start out like this?

Present Time

Upon the sunny skies up above, me, my friends, and the rest of our class traversed among the road by a large white bus. I sat near the back with the window to my left and Brittney to my right. She showcased a big smile across her face while taking glances at me. Though my attention lied on the window and a collection of trees passing by, I took a few glances at her.

To Brittney's right, Kameron and Lars sat together. Both of them frowned. Kameron crossed his arms while looking out the window while Lars kept looking at his watch. I didn't understand why they didn't want to go on the trip. For Kameron, maybe it was because he'd been around the world and probably been to our upcoming destination many times. For Lars, I wasn't so sure. He probably didn't like mandatory trips.

In front of me and Brittney were Chelsea and Scarlett. I looked through the window and saw Chelsea had her arms crossed and her eye closed. Despite the small bumps the bus was giving off, she didn't move a muscle. Part of me envied her because I wish to get some extra sleep, but I couldn't. The other part was gonna be worrying about her throughout the trip, especially after that jackass cheated on her. From my position I couldn't see Scarlett. I wanted to ask her about her day with Kameron, but that wasn't any of my business and...after what Zac did I didn't want to pry.

In front of Kameron and Lars were Sadie and Ronaldo. Ronaldo just...sat in his seat. Not looking at his phone, talking about anything weird, nothing. He frowned and kept his eyes on the floor. I couldn't see much of Sadie, though from Ronaldo's head shakes, they were talking. My heart started setting off a different rhythm. I didn't want Ronaldo like this. Sure, I consider him to be a big weirdo, but I never wanted him sad. Seeing him for how he is now made me frown. I'll have to talk to him soon. Hopefully to help him return to the happy weirdo he is.

"Okay, class!" Mrs. Cherry announced, making all of us turn our eyes to her. "How about we have a little sing-along?"

Most of the bus groaned at the idea.

"A sing-along? Why, that sounds like fun!" The driver replied before making a turn, shifting us back and forth in our seats.

"Mrs. Cherry, do we have to?" Student#1 whined.

Mrs. Cherry nodded, "It'll lift our spirits up. Besides, who doesn't like to sing every now and then?"

Uh... I wasn't so sure about that. Life isn't a musical. But what was the harm in lifting our spirits?

(Song Start)

Mrs. Cherry started whistling a little before she got the ball rolling.

Mrs. Cherry: We all need a break from modern livin'.

We all need to shed our weary loads.

When your nerves are raw, your brains are fried.

Just grab a friend and take a ride.

Together, upon this open road.

Mrs. Cherry then asked Kameron and Lars to go next.

Kameron: All in all, I rather have detention.

Lars: All in all, I rather eat a toad.

Eww...

Soon the bus started shaking back and forth violently.

Kameron: The driver drives like such a klutz.

Lars: And I'm about to hurl my guts, directly upon this open road.

Mrs. Cherry: There's nothing can upset me, cause we're on our way.

Our eyes and ears will guides us straight and true.

Sadie: Our homes, don't forget us. We will return someday.

Ronaldo: Though we might be in traction when we do.

Scarlett: Me and friends, relaxing at the lake.

Chelsea: This is worse than onion breath and acne.

Brittney: Time to chill and get in rest mode.

Angela: I'm not mad, though others may explode.

Student#1: With where we're going I might cry.

Student#2: You know that's funny, so could I.

Student#1 And Student#2: Just bein' out on this open road.

Mrs. Cherry: It's me and my kiddies, my cutie pioneers.

In our hearts, forever, this venture goes.

Kameron: I wish to call a taxi and get us out of here.

Lars: Maybe somewhere that has a different flow.

Mrs. Cherry: On this day, it's a brand new adventure.

Every mile, another new zip-code.

Scarlett: The fears we have aren't gone for good.

Chelsea: But I'd go with them if I could.

Brittney: I've got no strings on me.

Angela: I'm feeling a little free.

All: It's nice enough to be... on this open road.

(Song End)

Turning my head a small gasp exited my mouth. Right outside the window I noticed a huge collection of trees and coming up was a large wooden sign that said: Camp Pines. The bus started to slow down it's momentum before turning itself into the camp entrance. Up head I spotted another bus and several familiar faces coming off of it. Some made my lips curve upwards, but others made me narrow my eyes.

Our bus soon came to a complete stop. The driver then opened up the doors and Mrs. Cherry stood up from her seat.

"Alright, kids. We're here. Everyone gather your bags and slowly get off. Our special guests will handle the rest." Mrs. Cherry instructed before getting off.

Everyone else started getting up and grabbing their bags from above them. Brittney reached out for my bag as I stood up. I took it as she winked at me and started following the others. I followed after and as I got off the bus I sucked in some air into my nose and exhaled it out of my nose. Turning my head I went toward the others and we all gathered together in front of Mrs. Cherry, another teacher, and four unfamiliar people.

The first was a light-skinned woman with short brunette hair and crimson eyes. She wore a red sleeveless shirt, white short-shorts, and red sneakers. The second was a light-skinned woman with long blonde hair and light-blue eyes. She wore a baby-blue T-shirt with white short-shorts and blue sneakers. The third was a light-skinned woman with...pine-green hair and yellow eyes. She wore a yellow T-shirt and mint short-shorts alongside dark-green sneakers. Lastly, was a tall tanned-skinned man with short brown hair, a shaven goatee and brown eyes. He wore a sleeveless brown shirt, black short-shorts, and brown sneakers.

"HELLO, MY ADORABLE KITTIES! The blonde woman announced. "Welcome to Camp Pines. We're gonna have such a good time together, but before that...I spy with my blue eyes some familiar faces."

The blonde woman then walked up to our group, but planted her eyes onto Kameron, Lars, and Sadie. My cheeks started getting warmer as she lowered her lower body while fluttering her eyes at them.

"Do you recognize me, my cute kittens?" The blonde woman asked, tilting her head.

Kameron, Lars, and Sadie blinked at her and squinted their eyes at her. Slowly, their eyes started expanding.

"Ms. Meow?" Kameron asked.

The blonde woman gasped and her lips stretched upwards. "Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow~ You remember me!"

Before anyone could blink Ms. Meow stretched out her arms and pulled Kameron toward her, wrapping him into an embrace. She hummed while shaking her body back and forth, keeping her hold on Kameron.

"My adorable kitty remembers me!~ Oh, it's been so long!" Ms. Meow gushed before planting kisses on his cheek.

"Uh... Yeah...it's good to see you again too." Kameron replied as his cheeks greatly turned red.

Ms. Meow eventually released Kameron and turned her attention onto Lars. Before Lars could even speak, Ms. Meow embraced him and hummed while Lars' eyes were about to pop out of his skull. Soon after she turned her attention to Sadie and picked her up from the ground and started spinning around while keeping her close. Soon enough Ms. Meow put Sadie down and Sadie's pupils spun in her eyes.

"My precious kitties have returned! Oh, this trip is gonna be extra amazing!" Ms. Meow said with pure joy.

*coughing sound*

Hearing somebody adjusting their throat, we all turned our attention to Mrs. Cherry, whom looked at Ms. Meow with narrowed eyes.

"Ms. Meow. I don't think that's very professional of you to show that kind of affection to my kids." Mrs. Cherry said firmly.

Ms. Meow soon narrowed her eyes at Mrs. Cherry and slowly walked up to her. "They're my precious kittens. I haven't seen them in years, and I don't appreciate you ruining our reunion."

Mrs. Cherry scoffed and approached Ms. Meow. "I'm not against you having a reunion. It's how you engage it that bothers me."

"I should be allowed to express myself to those I care about. Besides, you're not their mother. You're their teacher. So, your only job should be supervising your students." Ms. Meow replied dangerously.

Mrs. Cherry slowly glared at the woman and clenched her teeth. "I am aware of that. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't show compassion to my kids. Maybe you should re-educate yourself on proper interactions."

Both women then started growling at each other and I could've sworn I saw electricity spark between their eyes. The tension in the air started getting a bit tense the more people stared at them. Ugh... We seriously just got here and it looks like some time bombs are about to detonate.

"Mrs. Cherry. Ms. Meow." I called, making the teacher and blonde woman look at me. "We just got here and it really shouldn't matter how we should show affection. Kameron, Lars, and Sadie know Ms. Meow. They didn't show any resistance toward her affections and it's very sweet of you to think of us as your kids. Isn't that enough?" I pointed out.

Both the teacher and woman soon turned to everyone around themselves and then to one another. They looked away for a brief moment before turning to me.

"Okay." Ms. Meow said softly.

"You're right." Mrs. Cherry added.

Another person started coughing, making everyone turn to the brunette woman. "Not exactly how I wanted our first introduction to go, but we can make up for that later. Everyone, we'll be assigning you to your cabins. Once you've gotten settled we'll all meet up in the Mess-Hall and discuss our plans."

Going into the camping-grounds my lips started vibrating as my eyes were locked onto the environment. The warmth of the sun, Pine Trees standing tall and proud, and squirrels scurrying to gather food. A sigh exited my lips. I can't wait to see what's in store for us.

"Stop!" The tall-man called.

His voice snapped me out of my own thoughts and made me along with the others stop in place. Putting my attention onto the tall-man, he raised out his right arm, making us turn our heads to the left and seeing two cabins in the distance. Raising out his left arm we turned our heads to the right, seeing two more cabins.

"Boys are on the left and girls on the right. The only times boys and girls are together is at the Mess-Hall and during activities. The adults understand that you all are in your development stages, which mean "urges" will arise. For that, go to the bathroom or the showers and take care of them on your own. If we catch any of you doing something you're not suppose to," The tall-man then turned his head, cracking it. "I'll make sure you kids are well behaved."

I swallowed some saliva. Not because I would engage in such things, but because of how he addressed the warning.

I turned to the others and...got mixed reactions. Kameron merely put a hand in his pocket with a unamused expression while Lars was as still as a doorknob. Sadie gave off a confused expression while Ronaldo...just stared at the tall-man with a sad expression. Scarlett gave off a neutral expression and my sister yawned. Brittney...started shaking like a leaf. My chest gave off a different rhythm seeing her like that. Walking up to her I raised my hand and planted it onto Brittney's shoulder, making her halt her shaking and turn to me. Seeing me her lips lightly stretched upwards, making me return her expression.

"Pssh... Easy, big guy. We'll behave."

Ugh... That voice... I frowned and turned my attention to the other group. Among them were Elizabeth, Jenny, Sour Cream, Buck, and Shep. Those five were okay, but not the others.

Two were girls named Riley and Kelly. Both light-skinned with brunette hair, only one wore it in a ponytail while the other let it out freely. They both had brown eyes and wore light-red T-shirts with jean-shorts, white and red sneakers, and short bronze-earrings. They each had a hand on their hips and narrowed their eyes at the tall-man before scoffing and rolling their eyes.

Next was another girl named Sabina, only...she was unlike any girl I've ever met. She was tall and had a strong build on top of it. She was tanned-skinned with green eyes, large pink hair, some purple mascara, and piercings on her lower lip and ears. She wore a white shirt with rolled sleeves and a mouse on it's center, black pants with a tear on her right knee, black boots, and a green jacket wrapped around her waist. Her appearance alone was so...mysterious and for some reason I just really wanted to talk to her.

After her was...Zac. Zac... Just...looking at him makes me want to whack him with a croquet-mallet. I really, really don't him here or anywhere near my sister. But...I don't make the decisions, the teachers do. Still, I'm gonna keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't do anything.

The last person...I can't even look at him in the eye. He was tanned-skinned with short brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a maroon T-shirt with dark-blue pants, brown shoes, and a golden watch. Out of anyone from school to come along to the week-long camping trip, why in the universe does it have to be Kevin Orgullo. ANYBODY THAN KEVIN ARGULLO!

Kevin smirked and pushed some of his hair back, "When Kevin is around, things always go smoothly. I'll make sure the freaks won't cause any disasters."

Me and the others turned and glared at him.

"I'm sure you will." The tall-man replied blankly. "For now, go pick your cabins."

Going over to the right, me, the girls, and Shep approached our cabins. There were ten of us, so it was an equal amount to split. Only question is: Who gets which cabin?

"So... I suggest me, Kelly, Sabina, Shep, and Jenny get a cabin while the rest of you get the other." Riley suggested.

Chelsea then scoffed. "Who put you in charged?"

Riley rolled her eyes, "I'm just speaking my mind and making a suggestion."

"Alright. That's fine." I replied.

Riley smirked as her and Kelly walked toward their cabin.

"Doesn't matter to me." Sabina shrugged.

"Same." Jenny added.

"I'm okay with it." Shep added.

Watching them go the rest of us walked over to the other cabin. Raising out my hand I reached for the knob and opened the door. Inside the cabin itself was pretty big with three beds on the right side and two on the left. Straight ahead stood a large window with wooden covers. The central area was pretty large with a striped rug complimenting it. Turning my head side to side I noticed small outlets next to the beds along with small drawers.

"Well... Looks like this'll be our little home for the week." Sadie said, walking over to the left.

Going over to the right I put my bag onto my bed while Brittney picked her bed next to me. Behind Brittney I noticed my sister getting the bed next to her. To my left Sadie and Scarlett took their beds side by side. So who gets which bed went off without a fuss. I couldn't help but smirk, though it also made me curious to was going on in the other girls cabin.

"Anybody know what we're gonna do first?" Brittney asked around.

"Eh. Who knows. But I'm betting we'll get to do Paintball." Chelsea shrugged while unpacking.

"What makes you say that?" Scarlett questioned.

Chelsea shrugged again, "Just a feeling, Red. Besides, if Paintball is allowed, I know somebody we'll both be eager to shoot at."

Scarlett narrowed her eyes, but nodded and resumed unpacking.

Paintball... Honestly, I wouldn't mind that due to a certain someone I would shoot at. But I'm hoping we can do an Obstacle Course or something involving teamwork. Well... we'll have to wait and see.

With our stuff put away me and the girls exited our cabins and directed our eyes toward a large building in the distance. Leaving our cabins my eyes shifted to the left, noticing the boys coming out of their cabins.

Coming up a small hill we saw our teachers and the four adults standing in front of the large building.

"Okay, kitties. Now that your all here, introductions are in order." Ms. Meow announced.

Together the four adults stood side by side and pointed at themselves. "We are the Meow Siblings!"

"My name is Mandy Meow. I'm the eldest and can give you advice if you need it." The brunette said.

"I'm Catherine Meow. I'm the second eldest. And I know this forest like the back of my hand." The blonde said optimistically.

"You all can call me Rachel. I'm the middle child and I have a great sense of direction." The Pine-green woman said, winking.

"The name's Theodore. I'm here to ensure to kids get along." The tall-man added.

Huh. So...their siblings. Although..."Meow" as a surname kinda makes wonder which of their parents had the surname first.

Mandy then took a step forward, "Alright! To start off, we're going to be splitting you kids into four groups. From today until the end of the week, you will be paired up into teams. When we call your name please stand behind us."

"Angela." Catherine called.

Hearing my name I walked over got right behind her.

"Buck." Mandy called, having him walk over and get behind her.

"Kameron." Rachel called, making him go to her.

"Kevin." Theodore announced, having Kevin walk to him.

One after the other we each went up to each sibling until all of us were standing behind them. Mandy had Buck, Sour Cream, Lars, Ronaldo, and Sabina. Catherine had me, Brittney, Scarlett, Elizabeth, Jenny. Rachel had Kameron, Chelsea, Sadie, Riley, and Kelly. Lastly Theodore had Kevin, Zac, Shep, some guy with a beanie, and a girl with glasses.

"Now that the teams are made, we will announce our team names." Mandy said. "We are the Ferocious Felines!"

"We are the Krisis Kittens!" Catherine said, curling her hand repeatedly.

"Give it up for the Power Paws!" Rachel yelled joyfully while standing on one leg.

"The Courageous Claws!" Theodore said proudly.

Once the team names were made the siblings turned around to us and they looked at us with confusion. Me and everyone else...just looked at them with twitching eyes and uneasy frowns. I mean...with their surnames being Meow, I thought the names would probably be cat-themed, but...they just sounded so...awkward. Ferocious Felines? Krisis Kittens? Power Paws? Courageous Cats? It really couldn't be more on the nose.

"What's wrong, kitties?" Catherine asked, tilting her head.

"It's just...um..." I tried to explain.

"Those are the cringiest names I have ever heard in my life." Kevin said, sounding uncomfortable.

"Ditto." Zac added.

The siblings then...puffed up their cheeks?

"Don't be like that. They sound amazing." Mandy replied.

"Yeah. We worked really, really, really, really hard coming up with them too." Rachel added.

"I guess the newer generation just doesn't understand how it feels when you do your best to impress them." Theodore added, crossing his arms.

"Now our kitties think we're so lame." Catherine whimpered while covering her eyes.

Well... They're just trying to making things interesting, despite the cringy names. We can't blame them for that.

"That's not true." I spoke up.

Soon after all eyes got placed on me. Might as well finish what I started. "I don't think you four are lame. Perhaps...we'll grow to like them, if you'll let us?"

Catherine started and rubbed the bottom of my chin. She then walked up to me and closely placed her face near mine.

"If you're telling the truth, you're gonna have to prove it, young lady." Catherine said, moving her face from mine.

Hearing that, my eyes started to widen. Oh stars, what have I gotten myself into?

"I agree." Mandy said, smirking.

"Yeah, show everyone your inner feline." Rachel added.

"Do that and we'll forgive you." Theodore added, cracking his neck.

Shifting my head around...all eyes were now locked onto me. Closing my eyes I sucked in some air into my nose and slowly exhaled it out of my mouth. Okay... Okay... I did this and I have to own up to it. I can't take it back now, especially with everyone looking at me. So... My lips started to quiver as I felt my face getting warmer. Raising up my hands I curled my hands into fists and lowering my wrists. Closing one eye I lifted my left hand started curving it.

"Meow~ Meow~ Meow~ Meow~ Meow~" I said softly.

The Meow siblings blinked at me. Soon after...their lips slowly curved upwards. But...that was then followed by a collection of laughter. Turning my head both Kevin and Zac held their stomachs while cackling. Shortly after Riley and Kelly started giggling uncontrollably.

My cheeks got even warmer than before as I put my hands onto my face. Their laughter continued on and on...and on. Why did I have to open my mouth?

Groans exited my mouth while we all walked out of the camping-grounds. Oooooo... I don't think I'll ever be able to live this down...

"I thought you sounded cute." Brittney assured.

I groaned some more while keeping my hands on my face.

"*sigh* Wow, Angela. That was the most dorkable thing I've ever seen." Kevin said, wiping a tear from his eye.

"Yeah. Do you want some milk?" Zac added.

"Or a ball of yarn?" Riley and Kelly said in unison while giggling.

"Hey, stop harassing my sister, jackasses." Chelsea angerly replied.

Raising my hands from my face I looked over to my sister as my face started cooling down. She glanced at me and flicked her head toward Kevin and Zac. I opened my mouth to say something-

"We're here." Theodore announced.

Hearing his voice I closed my mouth and stopped alongside my team. Catherine and her siblings then stepped forward and turned around to us.

"Okay, kitties. To start off your first day, we're gonna play a game." Catherine announced.

"Cool. What kind of game?" Sour Cream asked.

The siblings smirked and reached behind themselves before pulling out...guns? Pointing them straight at us my eyes shot open and my body...just stood still. Shifting my eyes side to side, everyone else froze. What... What's going on? Why do they have guns? Why are they pointing them at us? And above all else, what do they want?

"Stop! We can talk about this." Mrs. Cherry said, walking up and raising her arms out. "Take me, but let the kids go."

"Don't be insane!" Mr. Blank called out.

Mrs. Cherry didn't respond. A rhythm in my chest started going off. I... I needed to do something. But...what could I do against four armed siblings?

The siblings then smirked and...pointed their firearms at a tree.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Without warning they pulled their triggers, making us flinch at the sound of the guns going off. Slowly turning my head to the tree I saw...blotches of a red substance, a blue substance, a green substance, and a brown substance. Wait a minute... Those aren't bullet markings.

"Sorry, kittens. We didn't wanna scare ya, but from how some of you reacted to Angela showing her inner feline, we needed to do something about it." Mandy explained.

Sighs of relief exited our mouths.

"That's not funny." Mrs. Cherry pointed out.

"Apologies." Theodore replied.

"Now, Power Paws. Follow me." Rachel added before turning around and walking away.

Without a word her group followed her.

"Ferocious Felines! Come with me!" Mandy announced, walking away while her group immediately followed her.

With two groups gone, only two remained: The Krisis Kittens and the Courageous Claws.

"Courageous Claws! We must prepare! Now follow me or I will shoot you!" Theodore addressed.

Walking away, his team started to follow him. Kevin and Zac gulped with every they took. Their expressions...gave me a sense of satisfaction.

With them gone we were left alone, but Catherine soon grew a wicked grin. "Well my kittens, it's time to go hunting." She added.

Following Catherine me and the girls squinted our eyes and in the distance we spotted a small structure made of wood.

"Now, just like Angela, it's time for rest of cutie kittens to embrace your inner felines." Catherine said while we were getting closer to the structure.

"Uh... What you mean by that?" Jenny asked.

Coming up to the structure we all stopped in place and took a better look at it. It was pretty wide with every corner being completely made of wood. At the center there was a door with an insignia of a paw print, only it was blue. Besides that, it looked like a pretty average building. Then again, after the Meow siblings announced and showed us what we were doing, I doubt things weren't gonna be so normal.

I...was so on point.

Coming out of the building me and the rest of the girls approached Catherine and she covered her mouth while eyes started to dilate. The five of us wore blue suits with dark-blue guards on our elbows, shoulders, and knees. Moreover, we each wore helmets with small cat ears on top of them, blue protective glasses, and had small blue and black striped-tails. Lastly, we each held a black rifle in our hands with extra ammo attached to our waists.

"O...M...G! You kitties are so adorable!" Catherine squealed.

Looking down at my body I felt my face getting warmer with each passing second. As if acting like a cat wasn't embarrassing enough.

"Umm... Ms. Meow?" Elizabeth stepping forward. "I don't want to sound rude, but...this suit feels really tight on me."

"Me and my siblings made them that way so they wouldn't be baggy." Catherine explained.

"I think we look good~" Jenny said, shaking her hips.

"Totes." Brittney replied. She then turned her attention onto Elizabeth, "Besides, I'm sure a certain "somebody" would like seeing you in that~"

Elizabeth's eyes widened as she held her rifle tightly. It doesn't take a genius to know who she's talking about.

"Alright, my kitties. Now that you're all equipped, follow me." Catherine announced before walking off.

Traversing into the woods we each held our rifles close to our chests and kept our eyes forward. I didn't believe we were gonna do Paintball on our first day, but looks like my sister was right on the money. Plus this is definitely something she'd be into, especially with who was here with us. Now that there's a way to get payback, looks like I'll get my wish too.

"Krisis Kittens." Catherine said, making me pull away from my thoughts. "After today, with permission, you'll be allowed to walk among our land. But..." She added, raising up her index finger, "Stay away from the mountain pass. That's off-limits."

"Why?" Scarlett asked.

"We'll tell you all tonight. I'm sure my siblings are telling this to the other kitties right now too." Catherine replied.

"If it's dangerous then I'm sure Kameron and Lars can handle it." Brittney said.

"What do you mean?" Catherine asked.

"Kameron is a Rainbow Gem. His family fights monsters and save the planet a bazillion times. Lars became one a few weeks ago, so I'm sure they'll handle whatever's in the mountain pass." Brittney explained.

Catherine started humming. Sure, Kameron has experience and Lars...well, he did tell us he's still learning what he can do with his watch. I'm sure they got it handled.

I was about to say something until the sound of a twig snapping entered our ears, making us gasp and stop in place. Raising up our rifles the girls and I pointed them in various directions while keeping our eyes locked onto our surroundings.

"Okay!" Catherine called. "Angela, your in charge of the pack."

My eyes shot open as I twisted my head to Catherine, "What!?"

"No arguments. I'll be watching you, my kitties, but you Angela, you have to take charge here." Catherine replied.

Turning my head to the other side the other girls pointed their eyes onto me. Great... First it was impressing a cat, then it's wearing these outfits, now I'm in charge of a team Catherine created. Well... expect the unexpected as the universe says.

Taking a breath I raised up my rifle and stepped forward, "Girls. Let's form a circle so we can cover every angle."

Without a word the girls stepped up and got into formation. Brittney stood at my right, Elizabeth stood on my left, and both Scarlett and Jenny stood right behind me. So far, so good. Now...the only thing we have to worry about now is survival.

BAM!

We all ducked, but kept our rifles up. Shifting our heads we turned to the trees around us, but no-one was there.

Going forward we came to a stop when two individuals rushed out from behind two trees in front of us. It was the guy who wore a beanie and the girl with glasses. They were wearing outfits similar to ours, only their color was brown.

"We surrender!" The guy yelled, dropping to his knees.

"Please, don't shoot." The girl added, dropping her rifle.

Confusion rose in the atmosphere. These two were just giving up right here and now, but...this was too easy. Their expressions appeared sincere, but it's easy to fake sincerity. They weren't putting up a fight, but...what if they where-

"GIRLS! DUCK!" Scarlett yelled.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Gasps exited my mouth. Just as I was about to turn around both Brittney and Elizabeth grabbed my arms with their free hands and we all leaped forward, heading straight for the ground. Screams entered my ears, making us turn around to see Scarlett and Jenny getting shot at, covering their bodies in brown paint.

Before I could say a word, snickering entered the air as Kevin, Zac, and Shep came out from trees near us.

"Hook, line, and sinker." Kevin said smugly.

"Dude, your plan worked out as expected." "Zac added, smirking.

"I'm sorry. I tried talking them out of it." Shep apologized.

Scarlett groaned while Jenny threw daggers at the trio.

"Sorry, babe. Had to pull it off." Zac said, stepping forward. "Only three remaining."

BAM!

Soon...Kevin's eyes shot open. Looking down there was a large brown spot right between his legs. Groans exited his mouth as he fell onto his knees, dropped his rifle, and covered his family jewels.

Zac's eyes shot open, witnessing the state Kevin got into. Turning his head he looked at me, pointing out my rifle. Watching me stand up he narrowed his eyes and pointed his rifle at me.

"Bitch. That's a mistake you will regret doing." Zac said angerly.

Narrowing my eyes I then started walking up to him. Him... him... him... The complete asshole. The guy who broke my sister's heart.

"Angela." Brittney called.

I didn't listen.

BAM!

Zac then screamed, fell onto his knees dropping his rifle, and covering his family jewels.

"Damn, girl! you gave it to him good." Jenny complimented.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Zac screamed some more when I shot his shoulders and chest. Taking another step Zac jumped up and ran off. Oh, no. He's not getting away from me.

Glaring at my target I sprinted after him, keeping my rifle up and pointed right at him.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Every shot fired hit Zac's back, making him groan with every hit until he came up to a tree and turned around to me.

"HELMET! OFF!" I yelled after ripping off mine.

Zac did just that as I got closer and closer to him. Once I got into close range I pointed my rifle right between the eyes.

"C-C'mon! Aren't you suppose to be the good sister? Following the rules and keeping people in line?" Zac stuttered.

"Yes, I am. I try to be a good sister, which includes taking care of the guy who hurt mine." I said firmly.

"I-I-I I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I'm a douchebag!" Zac replied with a scared voice.

"You are! I don't ever want you near my sister again! I don't ever want you near Scarlett either! Am I clear!?" I said angerly, pressing the rifle onto his face.

Zac started chattering his teeth, "Y-Y-You're crazy! You're freakin' insane!"

I then removed my rifle from his head and lowered it down.

BAM!

Zac screamed again as I went after his family jewels again.

To be honest, I just wanted to yell at him. Just that and walk away, but...I didn't. I hurt him. Just like how he hurt Chelsea, Scarlett, Kameron, and Lars. Something like this would be something Chelsea would do, but I beat her to it. Closing my eyes I sucked in some air into my mouth and exhaled it slowly out my mouth. This isn't the right way to handle a problem, but sometimes...force is necessary. Just what mom and dad taught me.

"Kitten!"

A gasp exited my mouth as I turned around. Right behind me where Catherine, Theodore, and the rest of the Krisis Kittens and Courageous Claws. Each of them had shocked and surprised expressions on their faces. Brittney then approached me while dropping her rifle. Once she got up to me she wrapped her arms around me, making me drop my rifle.

"Stop." She said softly. "Please, stop."

Hearing her voice...I...I couldn't respond. Closing my eyes I just...let her keep hugging me.

But one this was for certain. I'm in so much trouble.

End Of Episode 25.

I had to tweak this episode because looking back, I rushed it little. So I wanted to change it and go down a different path.

I also want to clarify something. For those who are distracted by my perspective changes, please bare it. Once again, I'm focusing on Kameron's friends, which is why I'm going through their perspectives for the time being.

The song here is called On the Open Road from A Goofy Movie. I do not own this song.

Next up is Chelsea.
