"Training the next generation of heroes is never an easy thing for superheroes. Especially after Mark learned about how his little brother had already gotten his abilities, which was a surprise due to how it took him till he was a teenager to learn about his powers. The reason for Oliver being able to get his powers quickly was due to his Thraxan DNA, but it doesn't mean that Oliver was ready to be like Mark and fly around the world fighting masked criminals and giant monsters. However, that didn't mean Mark could take the time and train him since he stopped working for Cecil and the GDA. While he couldn't get any type of training equipment for Oliver to see how strong he was or locations where he could practice without property damage, Mark could help him find a suit that would be appropriate for Oliver to wear when he's fighting crime."

Morning-Art's Tailor Shop

It was a special day for Oliver Grayson who was excited to hear about getting his very own suit that he'd be wearing if he wanted to be like his older brother and use his powers for good. However, Debbie would oversee it since he was living in her house and wanted him to know that he wouldn't be doing this by himself. Mark's mother and he brought Oliver to Art's shop to help make Oliver stand out in the hero community. However, there was an issue that involved Poisandra being a part of the costume designing since she wanted to assist in making the Thraxan boy stand out.

"Look. While you may be a human that's made special costumes for everyone to run around, I. Am a bonified artist when it comes to giving people style."

Poisandra responded to the fabric and designs that Art drew up when he got the call from Mark about bringing Oliver into the hero business. Art rolled his eyes at how prideful the woman was acting since she'd spent time around Oliver. It still didn't mean she had an edge over the old man as he showed her various drawings that he kept hidden for special occasions.

"Well if you want to act like an artist, show me something."

He challenged Poisandra on how she could make a suit that Oliver would like, it made her smirk toward Art and decided to offer her assistance in making a suit. With the two working together, Mark and Debbie were having a conversation with the young boy who'd decided his codename when he was outside on the field.

"Omni Kid?"

Mark asked about the name that Oliver had picked out since it was to honor his father who went by that name. While he had already been informed about how the people as well as everyone on Earth not being fond of him, Oliver thought otherwise about what he picked out.

"I felt like it was the best way to honor who he was before he tried to take over the Earth. Before he hurt you."

The boy responded on how he could try and make the name mean something that is being feared by everyone in the world. The two adults felt unsure if it was the right course of action since they could hate him on the spot if they saw the symbol on Oliver's chest.

"Honey. I know what you think is doing is right, but you need to know that once you go out there with that symbol. You're going be facing a lot of people your dad. I need to know if you're sure about this."

Debbie asked Oliver if he was content with the name and didn't have another alias he wanted to be called since Nolan was responsible for countless deaths he committed during his fight with Mark and Sledge. The boy looked over at Mark seeing how it was the truth and how one of the things that Oliver had to learn about his father was how committed he was to the Viltrumite cause before he went against them back on Thraxa. Oliver gave her a nod showing he was willing to go through whatever remarks he'd get once they heard his name.

"And done!"

Poisandra shouted which caught the trio's attention as she presented them Oliver's suit she'd designed for him. It came with a set of yellow shoes with a matching pair of socks, the Omni symbol in the middle of the suit's chest, and the color pattern being black and red. All the while having one last piece to help him protect his identity from the public despite having purple skin, and a black domino mask.

"Awesome!"

Oliver responded to his suit, he flew over to grab it and went behind the corner to the suit on as fast as possible. Mark and Debbie looked at Poisandra on how she designed his suit which made him look like a Boy Scout.

"What? He might be capable of juggling cars around but that doesn't mean he should look serious."

She responded to the designs of Oliver's suit as they saw the Thraxan boy flying out in the open for his family and friends to see him as Omni Kid. Debbie couldn't help herself but smile at how excited Oliver was to help his brother out in fighting crime. Mark himself felt conflicted in this since Oliver didn't know what he was stepping into, more or less that he would be looking after his safety from the public who'd call him out for representing his father.

"Hey Mark. Don't think you're getting out of getting a new look, I heard about what happened with you and Cecil. It's time to show him that you're more than a kid."

Art called out to Mark how his suit was ruined from battling the reanimen who were strong enough to hurt him and tear his suit to pieces. Curious about what he was talking about, Art walked the young man over to the changing room where he could present Mark with his new suit. Meanwhile, Oliver was doing dramatic poses with Debbie and Poisandra watching since they found it adorable how he was pretending to fight criminals.

"How are you holding up?"

Debbie asked Poisandra about what's been happening to her since it wasn't easy for her gang to decide to leave Cecil since he could put them back in prison. Especially with Poisandra being the one who threatened the director who not only had an army of undead cyborgs but also Snide and various outlaws that Sledge captured on his ship.

"Scared, ever since I lost Sledge to the Viltrumites I'm forgetting who I used to be. When I look in the mirror I don't see myself, I just see this angry woman about to lash out at everyone for hurting the people I cared for."

She replied about not seeing the same girl who smiled at the universe despite having to deal with threats that normal people couldn't handle. But having been exposed to how aggressive and sad life was along with having the love of her life taken away by someone's father who'd promised to look after his kid made her feel upset.

"Is that the reason why you decided to change colors? Because I started to enjoy someone else besides Eve who makes it look exciting to see."

Questioning about how Poisandra lost her pink attire to replace it with magenta which made her aggressive and serious like everyone around her. The alien girl knew that topic was going to be questioned since her color had changed when she got angry with Cecil.

"My people are emotional when it comes to certain moments in their lives, we can't get mad since our culture brings out joy and happiness. But when we get angry? It can get scary."

Explaining how hostile her race could be when it came to their emotions changing from happy to aggressive under extreme circumstances. With how much stress and conflicts Poisandra had been through during her stay on Earth, it was bound to happen. Debbie felt sorry for what she might be going through since it was similar to the feelings that she lost when Nolan told the world his intentions and how he described her as a pet due to how long he could live.

"I think you should look at this as a way of changing yourself. Not forever, but just until Sledge comes back. He needs to know that you managed on your own without him around you all the time."

Debbie offered advice on how Poisandra could use this to reinvent herself in a way that was more useful than being angry all the time. Just as they'd finish their small talk, they saw Mark stepping out of the back with Art wearing a suit that resembled his other suit but completely black and blue. Poisandra didn't know why but she was lost in him stepping out since the new look made Mark appear like a new man.

"Gross."

Oliver spoke out at how Poisandra was looking at his older brother which made the alien girl realize what she was doing and shuttered since she already had a boyfriend. Mark took a moment to look at himself in the mirror seeing that the look he had made him appear serious and experienced, it seemed to work for him.

"Does this mean we can try out our suits now?"

His brother asked Mark about when the two of them could go out and get started on his crime-fighting career. Mark said nothing to Oliver since he was too eager to get started with fighting since it wasn't about getting into fights with people bigger than him. Suddenly without warning, Mark's phone started to go off as he went over to answer it and was surprised about who had called him. Debbie saw the look on her son's face changing from concern about training Oliver to relief since he'd found a way to help the young Thraxan out.

"You're in luck. Eve found somewhere you can start; Curio is there with her keeping your first bad guy to fight there."

Responding to his brother on getting to work made Oliver excited about who he would be fighting. Debbie looked concerned about whoever Curio and Eve were fighting against since various villains in the city were easy to handle and dangerous. Luckily, Oliver will have the advantage of having a team to back him up on whatever criminal Eve has set up for Oliver to handle by himself.

Later-Burger Mart

It was a simple morning in Chicago with nothing dramatic happening around the public. However, there was the exception of an unusual attack which came from a low-level villain that nobody expected to attack the fast-food establishment. The Elephant, who was fighting against Curio was keeping him from hurting any civilians all the while avoiding being stomped due to how large the animal-themed villain was.

"None of you would eat a dog. So why a cow is any different? If can survive on an all-plant diet, so can everyone else!"

Elephant announced how he was planning to destroy the establishment for selling meat to the public. Grabbing a bench off from the ground and swinging it at Curio, the patchwork monster was using Green Ghost's pills which enabled him to phase through Elephant's attacks.

"All I wanted was to get the toys they were advertising. I wasn't going eat their food."

Curio responded toward the aggressive elephant, the villain didn't respond but continued to attack Curio. Watching from the air was Eve who was on crowd control and keeping the fight amongst the two until Mark came over with Oliver since this was the perfect setup for the kid.

"Feels like yesterday I was with the gang when this guy and other losers in masks tried to cause trouble for no reason."

Eve thought to herself about what she was watching since it reminded her of a time when things weren't serious and easygoing. Continuing to watch the fight with Curio who was tiring Elephant out, there was a sudden booming sound from above as the patchwork monster took cover and saw something fast hitting the Elephant to a car. Taking a moment to see who was responsible for taking down Elephant, it was Oliver who attempted to do a dramatic pose and smirked at arriving on time to help out.

"Hey. You didn't say Oliver was getting a new costume!"

He called out to Eve who was soon being occupied by Mark and Poisandra who arrived to see what was happening at the establishment. Feeling like he was hit by a tank, Elephant got back on his feet to notice a new hero appearing out of nowhere along with seeing Invincible and Poisandra by Atom Eve monitoring the fight.

"Wait a minute. I'm not a damn punching bag for kids!"

Shouting at the trio who had been able to realize that Curio was waiting for the arrival of another hero to assist him in this fight. Oliver smirked at how it was the truth as he rushed in to handle Elephant by himself. The trio watched how the boys were handling the situation with Poisandra sitting on the roof and Invincible and Eve who observed the fight since they wouldn't get involved unless it was serious.

"Omni Kid. Not exactly one of the names I'd pick out, I thought he'd go with something like 'Ultimate' since you took Invincible."

Eve questioned Oliver's choice in name picking since he was choosing something that would be controversial since people would think he was representing Omni Man. Mark noticed how she looked since it meant whoever had a grip against the hero turned killer, they would go after Oliver. Meaning she would watch after him if Mark or the others wouldn't be able to keep an eye on him.

"I know his heart is in the right place he needs to understand that people won't forget about what our dad did to everyone. I don't know if I can protect him."

He responded on whether or not it was the right idea to let him use the name or have the symbol on his chest since it would indicate to everyone that he was an Omni Man fan. Eve said nothing since it was the truth, but it didn't mean Oliver would be on his own. Their moment was interrupted by a crashing sound with Oliver using a mailbox as a boxing glove to knock out Elephant.

"Omni Kid! Honey, I was told about not breaking stuff when fighting supervillains. Just use your fists, it's much better."

Poisandra instructed the boy about how to handle the villain and Oliver nodded at her advice. Mark sighed at how this would be a problem but decided to remain silent since he was able to listen to the suggestion. It seemed everything was being handled safely until they heard a firing sound going off from the side of the street. The heroes looked over to see the same villain that Eve and Sledge's crew battled long ago, Killcannon.

"God damn it Elephant! I told you not to run off by yourself."

Shouting toward his teammates as the cyborg wasn't alone as he had a team of his own standing with him. It was Furnace and Kursk, the same men that fought Invincible for Machine Head who were also capable of hurting him. The last member was a mummy with glowing green eyes that no one knew about but looked at Invincible with anger in his eyes.

"You. You had buried me in my pyramid, denying me my right to rule my lands. But now, I had returned to exact my revenge upon you. This, Ka-Hor commands!"

Introducing himself before firing an energy beam from his hand at Invincible. The projectile sent him flying into a building which agitated Oliver in seeing his brother hurt, he attempted to attack the mummy but was stopped by Furnace who grabbed him in the air and slammed him into the pavement. Poisandra was able to recognize the villains as she remembered how they were responsible for hurting Sledge and Fury when they fought against Machine Head.

"Finally. Payback time."

She spoke out before pulling out her heart-shaped scythe as she went after Kursk which the electricity villain threw a bolt of lightning at her. Avoiding the attack and going after him, Eve went to handle Killcannon and Ka-Hor leaving Curio to handle Elephant. Mark made his way out of the building to see the street fight happening and attempted to break it up, only for him to be wrapped in bandages by Ka-Hor who restrained Invincible from escaping.

"My human body is frail. Once I devour your soul, I will take your body and rule this world!"

Declaring his intentions for Invincible before slamming him against the side with the hero trying to break free from the bandages. Oliver attempted to get up but was stomped by Furnace who kept him from escaping, the metal creature exposed his arm preparing to pour magma over the kid as Oliver continued to break free. Only to watch his brother and friends having trouble with their opponents as the magma started to touch Oliver's back. Just as the boy felt the burning, Oliver felt an overwhelming anger consuming him.

"Leave my brother alone!"

Oliver cried out as he was able to break free from Furnace, he flew up toward the metal man and took his head off. Everyone was shocked at how aggressive Oliver's attack was as he looked over at Ka-Zor who was fascinated with the boy's ferocity.

"The child has such violence in him. He will be a better host for the likes of me."

Ka-Zor responded to Oliver's immense strength and was about to throw his bandages onto him. Only to miss and felt a strange opening from his chase, he looked down to see his heart exposed with Oliver behind him who'd placed his entire arm through his chest. Destroying the heart with one crush, the mummy collapses to the ground and dies within a second. The other villains noticed how violent he was and decided to surrender, Killcannon was the exception as he attempted to shoot him. Only for Eve to slice his cannon in half and use her powers to contain him before trying to be another victim.

"Are you okay?"

Oliver asked Invincible if he was hurt by Ka-Zor's attack and ignored him taking out two people in a brutal fashion. Mark looked over to see the two and Oliver's hand covered in blood, which resulted in him taking Oliver in the air away from everyone. With the fight seemingly finished, Eve had Poisandra and Curio bring the remaining villains together and inform the GDA to arrest them, leaving Mark to talk to Oliver in private.

In the Sky

Having enough time to reach the sky where no one would see them, Oliver was confused at why Mark was angry with him since he saved his life and the others. Mark removed his mask since he couldn't focus with his face covered since this was something he feared might happen.

"What the hell were you thinking? When we're out on the field, we don't kill anyone!"

Telling Oliver that no matter how ruthless or cold-hearted the villains were, they couldn't be the ones to handle their fates. The Thraxan boy felt conflicted with what Mark was saying since he saw how the mummy had him in his bandages, something that Mark wasn't thinking about at the moment.

"I didn't mean to. One of them talked about sucking out your soul and I was having lava poured on me, I didn't know what else to do."

Responding to his actions by taking Ka-Zor and Furnace's life since they didn't care if they'd killed Mark or the others. He tried his best to restrain himself from yelling at Oliver since he didn't know better, all the while trying to figure out how to talk to him.

"There's always another way of handling problems. Killing doesn't do anything, Poisandra told you about this. Didn't she?"

Asking Oliver about what Poisandra talked to him when they learned about him already getting his powers. That killing might solve a few issues but would make everyone frightened of him, however he didn't see it that way when it came to the villain he killed.

"I remember how you killed that man who threatened mom at the house, he was dangerous. He wasn't going to stop until we were all dead. Dad did the same thing to those back on Thraxa, they were going kill both of us. Why can't we do the same?"

Questioning his brother about the night when Levy broke into their home and threatened to kill them along with the Viltrumites that threatened Thraxa. Who threatened to kill the woman who gave birth to him and how the men who were sent showed no remorse in killing anyone in their way. The two floated in the air in silence since Oliver was right when it came to Nolan taking out the Viltrumites.

"Every life is valuable, as well as how each life has someone close to them. Whether they are normal or not, we're responsible for who we have to face whenever we protect people. It's what dad did before telling me who he was. I don't want you to end up killing to protect people, especially me."

Mark told him how no matter what situation he or the others were in that showed how close they were to getting killed. Oliver couldn't lose control and take out the attackers around him, whether he thought it was right or not. The boy didn't know what to say as he looked at his hand covered in the mummy's blood and felt scared at what he'd done along with remembering how scared the others were when they saw him killing the two. Mark saw how Oliver was doing for the day and decided to take him back home to try and continue his talk with their mother about how he needed to take responsibility for his actions if the boy wanted to continue fighting with his brother and his friends.
