Chapter 5: Great Cave Offensive Part 3
*Villains of a Sort*
Back with Dedede and Escargoon, they were in the room of the three doors of the Crystal Area.
Escargoon: Sire, we've checked the two doors, but there was alot of water and we've walked in circles there.
Dedede: At least we've passed the jungle and avoided those Gators.
He hears the phone beeping before pulling it out.
NME Salesman: Triple D, I must inform you that the Computer Virus was defeated. Apparently, two of the new travelers look like Kirby and even can copy abilities.
Dedede: Just our luck.
NME Salesman: However, the group is going to the Old Tower Area where Chameleo Arm is waiting for them. Chameleo Arm is very well known for turning himself invisible which will be very hard for Kirby and the others.
Dedede: That sounds good. Now we must continue.
Dedede turns off the phone.
Escargoon: Sire, don't you think that Kirby and others can win?
Dedede: He can turn invisible. There, we would have the advantage.
*Underground Forest Area*
Now with the heroes' group, they've advanced in the mining cart towards the next area. However, as they went through the door, they fell down, but the Blue Mew uses Psychic to grab everyone with psychic force and soften the fall as they arrived in front of a giant and ancient tower made of gray stone bricks.
Tuff: Look at the size of that tower.
Tiff: There could be monsters inside there.
Kirby: Poyo.
Caleb: Let's go inside.
They entered inside the tower where there were yellow oval-shaped creatures with brown feet, blue sorcerer hats, and were cleaning the place. Also, there are oval-shaped stone-skinned creatures.
Tiff: Those are Broom Hatters and Golems.
Caeli inhales a Broom Hatter and she got a white bandana with green stars on her head and was wielding a broom while Kirby inhales a Golem and he got a crown of rocks and a headband with five orange, pink, and purple jewels in between a pair of horns.
Sara: Those ones should be Cleaning Caeli and Stone Kirby. Now I suggest we explore through the corridor.
Just as Sara suggested, the group nods before advancing across the corridor and even going into the upperpart of the corridor where they saw springs, but also a yellow being with a purple ninja outfit and a headband.
Tiff: Look! It's a Moonja, a ninja enemy!
Kibou: I'll handle him…!
Just as Moonja tossed a shuriken, Kibou inhales him and then he got a purple cloth skullcap with yellow and orange triangle-pattern laces and a forehead protector imprinted with a star outline and a katana.
Tuff: It's Ninja Kibou.
Kibou: I am a ninja…?
The Moonja tried to attack, but Ninja Kibou swings his katana, then performs a flurry swipe which defeats the Moonja and keeps advancing forward until the group finds a room with particular blocks.
Sara: We must be careful here.
Stone Kirby uses Stone Uppercut which forms a stone fist to attack diagonally upwards and destroys some blocks, making a treasure chest fall down. But with some Gordos bouncing, the Pink Celebi uses Psychic to drag the treasure to a safe place before being opened and they saw a pink wand with a yellow crescent moon(Crescent Moon Wand from Sailor Moon.)and Caleb took the photo.
Aria: This is the Crescent Moon Wand. It belonged to Queen Serenity 1,000 years ago. Now I hope she is alright.
After exiting the room, the group went through the corridor, going to the left where they found a door where there is a wooden stake, but Stone Kirby transforms into a gray block with spikes and a provoked face as he slams the stake while leaving an open path to another door.
Mario: Whoa! Kirby transforms-a into a Thwomp, a stone enemy from my homeworld.
Just as Stone Kirby returns to his regular form, the group continues and went through two elevators and arrives into a corridor with orange walls and also two orange two-legged creatures with fiery hair.
Tiff: Those are Hotheads! They are fire monsters!
Mario: I'll handle them.
Mario casts Waterga which defeats the Hotheads and went to the upper door of the room. As the group went in and continues through a corridor, a magenta fighter humanoid creature appears with a tough-looking upper body and wearing a white gi with a small red emblem on it. He has a tuft of blonde hair and wore pink and blue shoes and his dark blue hands are separated from the rest of his body.
Tiff: That monster is a Jukid. Even if he looks inexperienced, he will try to take you down.
Caeli: OK.
Jukid attacks with a jump, but the group dodges his attack. Ninja Kibou tossed kunais while Mario casts Firaga, doing some damage to the monster. Jukid extends his arms, trying to grab the group, but they've dodged again. Cleaning Caeli uses Broom Flick which she quickly flicks the broom upward, sending a large cloud of dust forward, while Stone Kirby uses Heavy Smash which he transforms into bigger rock which had the form of a block of bricks(Like the Brick Block from Super Mario Bros.), while spinning around and then smashing through the ground, damaging Jukid greatly, who jumps backwards before shooting an energy sphere from his hands, but Mario casts Reflega which returns the attack and defeats Jukid who crashes in the ground. Then Ninja Kibou uses Air Drop which he grabs the beaten Jukid before jumping high into the air and then slams the enemy into the ground while exploding too. Then a treasure chest fell.
Kibou: Look!
Ninja Kibou dashes to the treasure chest before opening it and finding a green-rounded turtle shell as Caleb took the photo.
Mario: Wow! A Koopa Shell! Very well known in my homeworld and also used in the Super Smash Bros. Tournaments.
After storing the treasure, the group continues across the corridor until they find a place with water and also a canyon.
Sara: Well, as we can see in the room, this cannon could lead us to the next treasure. However, the rope of the cannon is underwater.
Mario: Firaga works underwater.
Caleb: OK, I'll do it. Wait there, Caeli. Just few minutes.
Caeli: OK.
Just as he said, Caleb enters into the water before casting Firaga to the rope as the boy enters the cannon which fires Caleb to the other part of the room. There, he found the treasure chest which contains a sword with a red jewel in the yellow handle and has a white blade(Falchion from Fire Emblem.)and he took the photo.
Caleb: The Falchion.
Then after storing the sword in the inventory, Caleb destroys a Bomb Block, revealing a path, and reuniting with the others.
Caeli: What was the treasure?
Caleb: A Falchion Sword. Made from Naga's fangs.
Mario: And also Marth's signature sword.
Tuff: How many swords are inside of those treasures?
Tiff: Who knows? But it is amazing to see those treasures from different worlds.
Then the group continues as they went back. But this time, the water had a floating stream as they swam and also found a treasure chest which contains a blue shield with an eagle-like symbol and red jewel on the center.(Erdrick's Shield from Dragon Quest.)They returned to the surface where Caleb took a photo of the shield.
Mario: Now it is-a Erdrick's Shield. I saw it being wielded by Erdrick in the Super Smash Bros. Tournament before.
After storing the shield, they've returned to the orange corridor. The elevators sent them back to the first floor's corridor where they went to the right this time. They found a vertical room with stairs and green blocks, but as for enemies, there were Sir Kibbles and Parasol Beauty Heartless. They are lady-like Heartless wearing white hats, purple dresses, and carrying pink parasols. Stone Kirby removes his previous ability before inhaling a Parasol Beauty and he was now holding a red and white parasol with a yellow pole and blue handle and a bright yellow star on top.
Tiff: Now it's Parasol Kirby.
Then as the group advances through the room, the Keyblade Wielders used Sonic Blade, Cleaning Caeli pulls out a wet cloth to perform a sweeping clean to hit the enemies, Ninja Kibou uses Stealth Dash as he drew out his katana and quickly dashes forward while slashing behind him as he dashes, while Parasol Kirby uses Parasol Drill which he slides forwards while twirling the parasol forward and dashing through enemies in his way. The heroes defeated the enemies until they arrived into a corridor with red walls, but also falling and explosive coconuts were raining down, but they've managed to dodge them. But at the same time, cannon shots were heard.
Tiff: I think there are Shotzos below.
They continued as they found a Bomb Block which was destroyed by Parasol Kirby who uses Parasol Dive which he dove diagonally down while twirling the parasol and below there, Parasol Kirby found Shotzos firing, but Parasol Kirby uses his parasol as a shield to block the attacks until he reaches the end of that narrow corridor where he found the treasure chest which was brought to the group. Aria opens the chest before seeing a golden tiara with a jewel which has a form of a six-pointed star(Element of Magic from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.)and Caleb took the photo.
Aria: It's the Element of Magic.
Tiff: Do you know about it, Aria?
Aria: Yeah. 1,000 Years ago, the Element of Magic belongs to the Six Elements of Harmony. The other five are Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, and Loyalty. The six of them were used to seal Nightmare Moon in the moon in the past.
Tuff: Wow, it's very surprising.
Aria: There could be more surprises ahead.
The group nods before going to the next corridor which has a purple stone bridge, but at the same time, a Bomb Block in the middle of the bridge and at the same time, a large brown rock-like creature with what looks like snow on top of three small peaks on his head, giving him the appearance of having craggy gray "hair" on top, also having a jagged mouth set in a frown with bits of moss on his lower lip and small, angry eyes with brown pupils, brown sandals with orange bands on his large yellow feet, and a red and white-striped headband around his forehead.
Tiff: Look out! That monster is a Moundo!
Sara: Also, we must be careful by not destroying the Bomb Block. It would be better not to use attacks that go diagonally and not even casting Thundaga.
The group nods at Sara's intuitive instruction as Moundo walks slowly before jumping and tried to stomp the group, but they've dodged his attack. Ninja Kibou just tossed kunais, Mario casts Firaga, while S. Mew uses Psybeam with the three attacks hitting the walking mountain who got up before charging at the group, but they've dodged again as Moundo crashed in the wall. Then S. Celebi uses Energy Ball while S. Absol uses Night Slash, but then Moundo attacks by spinning around on the floor and sliding to track the group, but they've dodged the attack. After the attack by spinning stops, S. Popplio and S. Sobble uses Chilling Water while S. Fennekin uses Hidden Power as Moundo charges at the group again, but they've dodged again as the living mountain crashed into the wall again. Alcremie and S. Pichu uses Disarming Voice while Polteageist uses Shadow Ball which defeats Moundo who was sent crashing in the ground before exploding. The group advances as they saw a switch which was pressed and the treasure chest fell into the bridge, realizing about why they didn't destroy the Bomb Block before opening the chest and seeing a yellow scepter with trapezoidal prism on the top and three stars spinning around it.(Triple-Star Cane from Kirby: Squeak Squad.)
Tiff: It's the Triple-Star Cane.
Kibou: Please, can you tell us more about Triple-Star Cane?
Tiff: The Triple-Star Cane was in Daroach's possession before, but Kirby manages to get it to defeat Dark Daroach and later defeat Dark Nebula.
Caeli: Kirby is very good at fighting against the enemies.
Kirby: Poyo.
The group continues until they came into a corridor which was located outside as a balcony of the tower, but then new Heartless appeared. A white skull warrior with a Heartless Emblem in the Viking helmet while wielding an axe, a navy blue-armored warrior with golden shoulder pads with a Heartless Emblem and blue shoes and carrying around a flail nearly as big as itself, a red droid with a rounded body, a Heartless Emblem in the forehead, four spherical appendages rotating around its lower body, and in the middle of it's face is a visor, and a purple-armored warrior sporting a Heartless Emblem and red shoes. Those are Axe Knight, Mace Knight, Javelin Knight, and Trident Knight respectively.
Dracomon: Heartless! Let's fight!
The Axe Knight tossed its axe, the Mace Knight tossed its mace, the Javelin Knight spins its javelin, and the Trident Knight tossed electrifying tridents, but the group dodges their attacks. Parasol Kirby used Circus Throw which he grabs one of the Heartless with his parasol before tossing it, Cleaning Caeli sweeps her broom while emitting wind to blow away the Heartless, Ninja Kibou uses Blossom Storm which he jumps up and with a fan in hand, swung downwards to conjure a barrage of cherry blossoms, and the others used their known skills until they've defeated the Heartless.
Luke: The path is clear.
The group continues until they've arrived into red stone corridors where they've defeated Gators and also, there was a Gim, but Parasol Kirby removes his ability before inhaling Gim and becoming Yo-Yo Kirby. He tossed his yo-yo down which hits a Bomb Block, revealing a passage in the ground where below there, the group uses a catapult device as they were launched, breaking another Bomb Block, and were close to a treasure chest which had a giant white egg with blue-winged patterns(Giant Egg from Billy Hatcher.)and Caleb took the photo.
Tuff: I've never seen this egg before.
Tiff: Me neither.
Then the Giant Egg was stored and the group continues moving across the corridors where they have to be careful with the falling platforms, the spikes on the ceiling, and the magma blocks until Caleb found a Bomb Block and he hops before thrusting his Keyblade to the ground, destroying the Bomb Block, and revealing a secret path to a secret room where they found a treasure chest and inside of it, they found a golden inverted pyramid which has an Egyptian eye as symbol(Millennium Puzzle from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.)and Caleb took the photo.
Caleb: The Millennium Puzzle. It belonged to the Pharaoh.
Tiff: I see you know alot about those items.
Caleb: Yeah, mostly items that I met in the past and eventually, the memories reach to my head.
After storing the Millennium Puzzle, the group continues until they arrived into a room with blue blocks and the view from outside where they faced and defeated Shadow Heartless and Golems and found a room which has a strong wind current blowing backwards and also pink-rounded creatures with orange feet, sleeping hats, and they are sleeping.
Caeli: What are those creatures?
Tiff: Those are Noddies. Don't let their appearances deceive you. They are nightmare monsters.
Kibou: They are just sleeping.
Caeli: Also, there's a chest ahead.
Just as Caeli said, the group saw a treasure chest through the Noddies.
Caleb: It's your turn, Mew.
Shiny Mew nods before flying above the Noddies and uses Psychic to lift the treasure to the group which was opened and they saw a two-legged creature with a red bow.(Mr. Saturn from Earthbound.)
Mario: A Mr. Saturn. Mostly used to break the opponents' barriers.
After the Mr. Saturn was stored, the group left the small room before returning to the previous one and went upwards while defeating Mr. Angleps, Jungle Bombs, and Soldier Heartless and even found another treasure chest which has a Golden Armor inside of it(From Ghost N Goblins.)and Caleb took the photo.
Rei: A Golden Armor.
Caleb: That's right, cousin.
After storing the armor, the group continues and found a door which leads them to a starry corridor where Caleb uses the spring and reaches the top where he found a treasure chest where there is a golden trident(Triton's Trident from The Little Mermaid.)and Caleb took the photo.
Ila: What was inside the treasure?
Caleb: A trident.
He shows the trident before storing it and then the group went back to the vertical room where they found a door where Luke went inside of it, quickly grabs the treasure chest, and avoids being crushed by a wall. As he came out, he opens the chest which contains a metal arm(Automail Arm from the Fullmetal Alchemist.)and Caleb took the photo.
Abby: It's a metal arm.
Luke: Yes, that's right.
After storing it, the group went to the other door and went through the vertical corridor with orange blocks, defeating Simirrors and Mr. Angleps until they found a wall with cracks.
Sara: That wall seems breakable.
Sara swings her Keyblade and destroys the wall and found water as the group jumps, swam, and reaches a door which led them to a bridge outside, but there were Bronto Burts chasing them. Shiny Mew uses Shockwave, Shiny Celebi uses Magical Leaf, while Alcremie uses Disarming Voice to defeat the enemies as the group walks across the bridge which starts to collapse. They advanced through an orange room, facing and defeating Mr. Angleps and a yellow and brown-striped sabretooth tiger.
Veemon: What is that?
Tiff: It's a Galbel. A dangerous monster.
Caleb performs Ars Arcanum to defeat the Galbel and advances forward until he found an orange pyramid which there was a hanging platform which he slices the rope by swinging the Keyblade and he then uses Hurricane Blast on the stake while revealing a path which led him to a secret narrow room with Gordos. Caleb manages to defeat a Golem and also casts Reflega against a laser which manages to defeat an orange-sphered creature called a Laser Ball. Caleb climbs through the platforms and finds a treasure chest which contains a pegasus-themed armor(Pegasus Cloth from Saint Seiya.)and he took the photo.
Caleb: Now I found the Pegasus Cloth. I wonder who could wield it now?
After returning with the group, Caleb explains that he found the Pegasus Cloth and returns back while also finding a treasure below the water where the Shiny Fennekin uses Psychic to lift the treasure chest to the surface and when it was opened, it reveals a ninja headband with a peculiar leaf-like symbol(Ninja Headband from the Naruto anime.)and Caleb took the photo.
Luke: A Ninja Headband with a peculiar symbol.
Then after storing the ninja headband, the group went back to the room where the breakable wall was there before and enters into a small room which contains a shuriken, bird feathers, and a crown of electricity.
Tiff: One resembles the Plasma Ability.
Yo-Yo Kirby removes the Yo-Yo Ability before inhaling the plasma crown and got the platinum crown with a greenish-blue gem at the crest with large plumes of yellowish-green plasma in his forehead.
Tuff: Now it's Plasma Kirby.
Caleb: Now let's try with fire and ice too.
Caeli: I want ice.
Kibou: I want fire.
Just as the two minor siblings removed the abilities, Mario casts Firaga and Kibou swallows the fire spell and then he got a yellow crown with a green-sphered jewel and flames above his head while Caleb casts Blizzaga and Caeli swallows the ice spell and got a purple crown with an icy six-pointed star jewel and ice spikes above her head.
Sara: Fire Kibou and Ice Caeli.
Caeli: I love this one!
The group went to the next room where they found an empty room with a huge orange wall.
Herissmon: It's too quiet.
Hackmon: There's no one here.
*Boss Battle*
They continued until a giant green chameleon-like creature turned visible while seeing the group before spitting colorful goop shots, but they've dodged the attack as the chameleon jumped back to the platform and faced the group.
Ila: It's a chameleon…?
The chameleon known as Chameleo Arm rolls towards the group, but they've dodged it's attack as Plasma Kirby uses Plasma Comets which he fires three lightning-shaped blasts while Mario casts Triple Plasma, hitting Chameleo Arm who advances before launching his tongue, but the group dodges again. Then Caleb casts Blizzaga while Ice Caeli uses Super Ice Sprinkle as she twirls in the air while blowing icy breath with both attacks hitting Chameleo Arm who jumps to cling to the wall and fires colorful goop shots, but the group dodges again and then Aria casts Firaga while Fire Kibou uses Burning Fireball which he engulfs himself in fire to hit the giant chameleon who then turns invisible.
Veemon: It's gone!
Suddenly, the team members were hit by something they were unable to see.
Tiff: Oh no! The chameleon is invisible!
Tuff: This is bad!
Suddenly, a golden-spiked sword was pulled out and fires an energy blade which hits the Chameleo Arm who came back visible, but this time, it was blue-colored after receiving the hit. The group turns to see a blue creature similar to Kirby, but wearing a metal mask and cape and wielding the golden sword.
Tiff & Tuff: It's Meta-Knight!
Meta-Knight: Kirby, use your hearing to identify the invisible enemy!
Kirby: Poyo!
Just as the Chameleo Arm turns invisible, Plasma Kirby closed his eyes before charging electricity and then fires a Plasma Laser which he fires a powerful plasma arrow which hits Chameleo Arm who is now red-colored. Caleb uses Rising Sun, Luke uses Ars Arcanum, Rei uses Quick Blitz, Ila uses Strike Raid, Aria casts Faith to fire pillars of light, Abby uses Ragnarok, the Digimon and Pokemon uses their known attacks, Ice Caeli uses Ice Ball which she encased herself in a ball of ice before sliding forward and hitting the giant chameleon, while Fire Kibou uses Fireball Spin which he spins while surrounding himself with fire and defeating Chameleo Arm. The chameleon was launched with the wide open mouth before falling outside the platform and crashing with an explosion.
*Stop Music*
Luke: Wow. Thank you for the help. That giant chameleon was really difficult.
Meta-Knight: Thanks are unnecessary.
Mario: Meta-Knight, do you remember me?
Meta-Knight: Of course, Mario. Since the last time in the Super Smash Bros. Tournaments.
Caleb: So you're Meta-Knight?
Meta-Knight: Yes. What are your names?
Then after hearing the introductions.
Tiff: I'm trying to wonder what are you doing here.
Meta-Knight: I came to warm you that Dedede sent monsters to attack you.
Tuff: I knew he was behind this!
Mario: So where will you go now?
Meta-Knight: Since you're a Keyblade Wielder now, I must leave Pop Star to go to other worlds in the search of more clues about the Keyblade.
Caeli: When will you come back, Meta-Knight?
Meta-Knight: Don't worry, young Caeli. I know we'll see each other again someday. Until then, good luck on your journey.
Ice Caeli nods before Meta-Knight took flight while leaving the place and eventually, the group kept advancing.
*Underground Forest Area*
At the same time, Sara looks upwards as she saw twin towers on the top before entering to the next room which has orange blocks at their surroundings and also, there were cannons.
Sara: I saw the outside and I noticed the twin towers, meaning that there could be two different treasures on each tower.
Caleb: OK. In that case, me and Caeli with our Digimon and Pokemon will go to the left tower.
Aria: Then me and Kibou with our Digimon and Pokemon will go to the right tower.
Luke: And the rest of us will wait here.
The group nods and Caleb with Ice Caeli and Aria with Fire Kibou enters inside the cannons. Then Caleb's group went to the left tower while Aria's group went to the right tower. With Caleb's group, they found creatures with pentagonal-shaped bodies and two semicircular eyes tilted down known as Grumples along with Sir Kibbles, but they've managed to defeat them. Caleb also uses Strike Raid at a distant switch and as the group advances, they found a door going outside while finding a treasure chest which was opened and they found a white and red spatial rocket.(SS Dolphin from Pikmin.)Caleb took the photo before storing the treasure and went back inside and now with Aria's group, they've faced Gators and Shadow Heartless, but they've managed to defeat them and Fire Kibou breathes fire to turn on a candle while also revealing a secret door as they went in it to find a treasure chest outside. After opening it, they saw a yellow ring with a Green Jewel on it(Wind Ring from Klonoa.)as Aria took the photo before storing the treasure and went back inside and continues going up until they came to the door from the upper part. Then they came out from the twin tower just at the same time as Caleb's group. They were falling down until Shiny Mew uses Psychic to soften the fall. They entered the door, went back inside, and reunited with the others.
Mario: So what were the treasures?
Caleb & Aria: This one.
Then they showed the rocket and the ring.
Mario: Only I know the SS Dolphin which belongs to Olimar.
Then the two treasures were stored in the inventory.
Sara: I guess those were all the treasures since we explored the whole old tower.
Caleb: Then let's go back.
The group nods before returning at the beginning and as they were in the place where Chameleo Arm was defeated, they were being watched by Dedede and Escargoon as they were at the top of the old tower and using binoculars.
Escargoon: Surely they got the treasures before us and also defeated Chameleo Arm. Sire, what are we gonna do?
Dedede: This time, we will go at the end of the next area, wait for the heroes, let the next big monster clobber Kirby and those brats, and we'll get the treasures.
Just as they said, they left the old tower before going to the next area, but this time, for another ambush plan instead of pursuing them as the heroes are ready to go at the next area.
That's it for chapter 5. Next time, our Great Cave Offensive adventure will finally conclude.
