Chapter 40 Clyde get Old Lincoln Back

(Universe Mansion - Lincoln & Arnold Bedroom)

Lincoln lay back read a Deedpool comic book. then he hear his phone rang. he check and see there a unknown number? Lincoln don't who called maybe it call a wrong. he get feeling he know someone try to him. so answer the phone find out who call. "hello?" he answer.

a familiar voice answer "h-Hey Lincoln."

"Clyde!? why are yo- Wait! how you get my number? is my new phone, I never told you yet." Lincoln ask him explained.

"i-I took football head boy phone and copy your number, the chance I can talk to you. and I return football kid phone back in his backpack." Clyde confess.

Lincoln disappointed him. "don't call him that, and stop sneak in my brother phone."

"he Not! your brother Lincoln, he a stranger in your house!" Clyde yell at Lincoln from the phone.

Lincoln not happy to hear Clyde yell at him. "I gonna hang up now." he about to hung up his phone.

"Wait! Lincoln please give a chance please! this why I call you to come hang out with me get to know each other." Clyde beg him not to hang up.

Lincoln not comfort about this is annoy so he gonna had to play along. "alright I will come over hang out with you." he told Clyde he will come over.

"Yes! how we go the Comic Store." Clyde told Lincoln to go the Comic Shop.

"okay, let me go ask Arnol-" Lincoln was gonna say but Clyde interrupted him.

"No! forget Armold. just you and me! the two of us!" Clyde don't like to hear Lincoln new friend name he don't like that guy, he a reason who brainwash Lincoln.

"Clyde. his name Arnold not Armold. okay fine just the two of I be there." Lincoln told Clyde and he hung up.

then Arnold came his and Lincoln bedroom. he saw Lincoln get off the bed look like he ready to go somewhere. "going somewhere bro." he ask.

"is Clyde call me he took your phone and he return in your packet. and no we ae back together. I'm hang out for one day and I show him change not bad." Lincoln told Arnold. "I will be back for dinner. see ya bro!"

(Comic Shop)

Lincoln & Clyde here look for new comic books. Lincoln did not say anything to Clyde. Clyde nervous he want talk to him but decide to stay quite, he had to find Ace Savvy comics is will bring old Lincoln back. Lincoln go over the other side pick new comic, he choose Sinestro Lantern comic. he go over the counter pay for cashier. Lincoln saw a girl same as his age.

she had dark brown shoulder-length hair, she wear dark red and blue checkered chest striped sweater and black shorts, and white boots. she had a buck teeth. she in the chair reading batman comic.

"hi. I like to buy a Sinestro comic. I got money to pay you." Lincoln told her he like buy comic. the cashier girl look at Lincoln she put her comic down.

"that will be $18.89." said the Cashier Girl. Lincoln give her a money and take it. she put a Sinestro comic in the bag and giving to Lincoln. "enjoy reading comic sir."

"thank." Lincoln polite to her. Lincoln confuse why the girl same his age work here? "um, you work here, should be adult to work here?" he ask.

"my Dad put me in chare in the counter. he will be back in 5 minute." she told Lincoln.

"your you new here right. I'm Lincoln Universe." said Lincoln to The Cashier Girl told his name.

"name Kara. yes, me and my family move here. and me and my little brother gonna go school next Monday." Kara told Lincoln with a friendly smile.

Clyde walk to the counter and ask her. "excuse me miss lady." he call Kara. but she not happy.

"Miss Lady!? do I look that old to You!" Kara holler at Clyde is scare him.

"Sorry! wait where the grow up?" Clyde apology and ask where adult.

"my dad will be back in 5 minute. now what you want." Kara demand him. Clyde gave her a bad mood.

"do you had any Ace Savvy & One Eye Jack comics here." Clyde ask his and Lincoln favorite comic. Kara confuse.

"um. sorry. we don't order for a baby comics. we only have Marvel & DC Universes comic. like we had Batman, Superman, Iron Man and Spider-Man." Kara told him. Clyde look shock in horror. "the Ace Savvy & One Eye Jack is cancel."

"What! why! Lincoln and I love that Ace Savvy and One Eye Jack like we were old best friends!" Clyde complaining. Lincoln roll his eyes, Lincoln don't like Ace Savvy anymore.

"we still had Lady Ace over there write by Amanda Bright" Kara show the boys see on the side the wall there full of Lady Ace's comic books and next to comics was a cardboard cutout stands shape like Lady Ace. she wear blue super suit and yellow belt and red undie, diamond on her chest wear white gloves and red boots, she has long brown hair.

"Cool! I will take it." Lincoln take one Lady Ace comic to buy. give another money to Kara. she give Lady Ace comic to Lincoln put in the bag same one with Sinestro comic. "thank. well I will see you on Monday." Lincoln left the comic shop.

(Outside Comic Shop)

Lincoln happy got two comic. and Clyde felt shock and upset he hear Ace Savvy & One Eye Jack is canceled. "well. this been fun Clyde. I better get home." said Lincoln he about head home but Clyde stop him.

"Wait! we are not done yet! w-we hadn't play.. video game! yeah let play game together come on please." Clyde beg Lincoln.

Lincoln he groans in annoyance by Clyde. "fine let go." Lincoln & Clyde go to Gus' Games N Grub.

(Gus' Games and Grub)

Lincoln and Clyde came in the game store. Clyde confuse look around is the Gus' Games and Grub. there new game the old one not there. "what the? this is not a right place." said Clyde with worry tone.

Lincoln go meet the owner of the Gus' Games N Grub. "hey Gus." Lincoln greet the owner.

"Oh! hey Lincoln good to see you and where your brother Arnold?" Gus replied ask where Arnold. he know Lincoln & Arnold came in Gus' Games and Grub 1 month ago.

"he as home. is just me and Clyde." Lincoln told Gus.

"ok. go ahead had fun play games." said Gus going back in his office.

"wait! where the Muscle Fish game?" Clyde ask Gus where Muscle Fish.

"oh. we threw away. that thing is no good. but we had Marvel & DC fighting game along with Lady Ace in this game, had fun." Gus close his office's door.

Clyde shock he hear Muscle Fish gone too! Lincoln go play fighting game. "come on Clyde you to play or not." Lincoln replied to Clyde waiting for him to play.

Clyde go over to him play fighting game. he saw Lincoln pick a character player is Lady Ace. now Lincoln waiting for Clyde pick a character player 2 for vs. "okay I will pick um.. Robot Guy." he pick robot guy but it not.

"uh. you mean Cyborg." Lincoln correct deadpan on his face to Clyde.

"Oh! um,, Yeah that w-was I meant hehe." said Clyde nervous tone. now they start the game.

1 minute later Lincoln play Lady Ace beat up Cyborg he almost about to win but Clyde pause the game. Lincoln shock now angry turn look at Clyde. "Dude! why you do That!?"

"is the 20/20 rule, remember." Clyde say with happy on face. but Lincoln not happy he had enough.

"that it!" now Lincoln leave Gus' Game N Grub. Clyde shock confuse he ran after him.

(Outside - Gus' Game N Grub)

Lincoln going leave Clyde came out game store call out to Lincoln. "Lincoln! wait."

"I'm going home! and this is why you can't handle the change!" Lincoln angry at Clyde. "and. I don't even like Ace Savvy and Muscle Fish. they are not my favorite, is Your! favorite. Clyde I'm 13! and I will turn 14 next two month."

"but. we are Clincoln McLoud r-Right." Clyde shaked nervously. pray for hope old Lincoln come back.

"first that a couple name! we are not couple. I respect your dads relationship just like I respect my big sister Luna date Sam I'm happy for her." says Lincoln. "I'm more of a JordEllaColn RoHaOud now. now leave me alone and stay away from my friends and my girlfriends and My Family!" now Lincoln transformer into Wolf Demon fly head home.

Clyde shock in horror and hurt his plan didn't work. he fell his knees on the ground. he crying cover his face with his hands now he get ran home to tell his dads.

(Universe Mansion)

Lincoln made it home, he hold his phone he block the Clyde number it will never call him again. Arnold sit in the couch read book. he saw Lincoln came home. "hey Lincoln, how is go."

"Hey Arnold!" Lincoln smile to his brother. now he groan annoy. "oh not great. Clyde can't handle the every change he still same old Clyde never learn to grow up."

"sorry to hear that dear bro." Arnold apology to Lincoln had a terrible day with annoy Clyde. sudden the door knock. is got Lincoln anger and annoyance.

"I got this." Lincoln walk toward the door now open going to yell at Clyde. but that not Clyde, is his former little sister. "Lana? what are you doing come by this 5:00 almost midnight."

"hey Lincoln. I'm here to tell you that my little sister Lisa got suspicious about a lady in white coat and brown hair ponytail and wear glasses, she going to the place call.. Lake Eddy, I think?" Lana told Lincoln. she scratch her red cap hat.

Lincoln figure it out he hear Lana say a lady in white coat mean lab coat, she had brown hair ponytail mean bun and wear glasses is shape like a square. Lincoln know what Lana mean. "Lisa gonna get in trouble for bother a lady." Lincoln look at Lana with smile. "thank Lana for telling me. go tell my mom she give you a ride home, I'm gonna go get Lisa."

"no problem Lincoln. and thank." Lana going in the Universe Mansion ask Jescha a ride home.

"Lana wait." Lincoln call her. Lana stop turn around then she surprise by Lincoln hug her and she hugged him back. then he kiss her forehead Lana giggle. "I forgive you Lana and I love you very much, I always be your big brother and you always be mine little sister."

Lana surprise tears come out her eyes. she smile and hug him. "I LOVE YOU LINCOLN!" crying happy Lana hug Lincoln tight, Lincoln finally forgive Lana.

now Lincoln depart the hug he wipe her tears away. he let Lana go in his mansion talk to his mom give Lana a ride home. Lincoln transform to Wolf Demon fly head the play call Lake Eddy.
