Loud house reaction to Pokémon legend.
Greetings everyone, I had this thought on how the characters from the loud house and casagrandes would react to what it would be like if Pokémon was in their lives. And yes, the louds will get scolded for a while for their actions especially Lori, Lynn, and Lola.
Episode 26
progress report 2 (part 1)
"Another 2 Parter, nice," Carl said." By the way Link, why were you and Clyde feeling nervous after being called girl guru?"
"Well, its liked this," Lincoln replied."
He explains the girl guru incident. everyone glares at the sisters.
"Girls! why would you eat his chocolate?!" Rita asked."
"We couldn't help it, it was delicious," Lola replied dramatically."
"And he knows we can't resist chocolate," Lynn said."
"That doesn't mean you steal your brother's chocolate!" Lynn sr. said." and you should've taken responsibility and helped them with their project!"
"And you'll be paying them back later," Rita said."
The sisters nod.
royal woods, Lisa and lily's room, morning,
today was the third day the first of Lincoln's Pokémon would be staying, but Lisa didn't mind too much. after all, she was able to get lots of valuable research done each of them in just one day.
"Oh, this whole week has been wonderful, at least as far as research goes. we're going to have proceed very carefully going forward with making amends with Lincoln, especially after how Lynn jeopardized things with her big mouth," Lisa said casting a glare at the door." and I think I might have an idea on how to do so."
"I see, you're going to put security on the door, so Lynn won't interfere again," David said."
She starts grabbing her tool kit, and headed towards the door, just as the videophone pinged.
"Hmm? what could this be?" Lisa questioned returning to her desk and checking the videophone."
she saw that it was a message from professor oak titled "second progress report".
"Oh, another report," Darcy said."
"Ah, so he's got the next report done. this works out perfectly. I'll have to message Clyde and Ronnie Anne later. for now, safeguarding my room from those Neanderthals takes priority," Lisa said as she returned to her door to begin working on it."
"Best to work on it," David said."
meanwhile, down in the loud house living room,
while Lisa was working on her door, the rest of the loud family (apart from Rita, Lynn sr., Leni, lucy, Lana, Lisa, and lily), were all sitting around the living room, watching some TV, and they looked like they've seen better days.
Lori, after regaining consciousness had learned that she had landed headfirst into the toilet. upon realizing this, Lori was forced to shave her head bald to get most of the contaminates off her head, which led to her being forced to cancel her date with bobby, where she would explain her side of the whole story to make sure bobby was on the family's side.
Luna, after getting attacked by a swarm of angry wasps, was covered from head to toe in swollen welts. this, of course, ruined her plans to confess her feelings to her crush, Sam sharp. that being said, her misfortune didn't end there. while she was rocking out with her guitar, it had snapped.
Luan wasn't fairing any better either. she had scratch marks all over her face, her tooth was noticeably chipped, and her entire font half was covered in dried mud. and her bad luck didn't end there. some more bad luck manifested when she visits her boyfriend benny to look for advice to make amends to Lincoln. upon finding out what happened to the up-and-coming comedian, benny looked worry. after his advice Luan starting to return home, on her way back she was at the mercy of a fairly small group of alley cats, who apparently didn't take too kindly to her walking through their territory and proceeded to attack her. Luan, of course ran away, and was able to evade them, but not before she fell face first into a mud puddle.
Lola was forced to borrow some of Lana's clothes after Charles had marked on Lola's favorite dress. needless to say, Lola was very uncomfortable in Lana's clothes.
while the louds were all dealing with their own troubles, none had it worse than Lynn jr., who had yet another black eye, another missing tooth, several new bruises, and a horrible ringing in her head that wouldn't go away, not to mention sting marks from beedrill. and that was the tip of the iceberg. after sneaking out of the house to go to softball practice, (despite being banned and getting the squirrel's disqualified for the next three season, as well as being grounded by her parents), Lynn had tried to force her teammates to come to practice, which only resulted in each of their parents phoning Lynn's parents to take her away, which they did, which also led to Lynn's grounding being extended even further.
"Wow, you guys got real big taste of karma," Carl said."
"It doesn't make sense. how can our luck be even worse than ever? sending stinkcoln away should've eliminated all of the bad luck that was plaguing us!" Lynn pondered as rockruff came running through with poliwag and zubat." (thinking) 'it has to be those dumb animals he sent over! yeah, and his room too! the combined bad luck they all have must be making things worse for us!'
"Are you seriously blaming his Pokémon?" Paula asked."
Lynn couldn't answer.
she turned to her father who was making lunch for the Pokémon.
"Dad, can I ask a favor?"" Lynn asked."
"What is it junior? and before you say anything, don't bother asking to have your grounding lifted. you brought that all on yourself by disobeying me and your mother," Lynn sr. replied."
"No, it's not that. I was going to ask if we could reseal Lincoln's room again," Lynn requested."
The request caused Lynn sr. to look at his daughter upset.
"Why do you want to reseal his room?!" Lynn sr. asked."
"Are you serious Lynn?!" Francisco asked."
"Because things haven't been going downhill for us until you chose to unseal it! there might be bad luck still lingering around in there," Lynn explained."
"You seriously think your brother's room is cursing us?" Lynn sr. asked."
"I don't think, I know it. not only that, but we should also ban Lincoln sending anymore of those animals here. they have to be making things worse," Lynn replied only for rockruff to bounce on her head and poliwhirl to punch her in the stomach." see what I mean?"
"Ha, serves you right," Skippy said."
"Oh, come off it, Lynn! you're blowing this whole superstitious thing way out of proportion!" Luna said with a disapproving frown on her face."
"Oh, really? then how come things have been getting worse for US since that rotten jinx left for kanto? we're the ones who are supposed to benefit from him being far away from us, not him!" Lynn said." you can't just say that. unsealing his room and his dumb animals being sent over have everything to do with our recent streak of bad luck!" Lynn argued."
"Jeez, you're so desperate to prove you're right," Winston said." Pride is really a problem."
"Keep it down, Lynn! you know mom and dad will extend your grounding if you keep badmouthing our brother," Luan warned."
"So what? after she, dad and the others betrayed us, they are no longer part of the family as far as I'm concerned, he should be grateful that I'm even talking to him!" Lynn stated as Lynn sr. was getting red face mad."
Everyone gasps and glares at Lynn.
"Who gives you the right to say that?!" Albert said."
Lynn couldn't say anything being in shock hearing her counterpart.
"Disowning half of your family just for apologizing to Lincoln, you really hit your head," Shane said."
"Keep disowning people who are trying to make things right with Lincoln, you're just going to wind up alone in the world," Luna said."
"Temporary price to pay. once you and the other guys see that I'm right, they'll come crawling back begging for forgiveness. unlike that rotten jinx, I'll at least attempt to forgive them," Lynn said."
Lynn was still in shock.
'What is wrong with me?' Lynn asked.' My pride is really destroying my family.'
"You're acting like Lola," Margo said."
Lola was going to say something until she stopped.
"Well, Lynn's idea does have merit, as far as far an experiment goes, but there's one thing she's not taking into account," Lori pointed out."
"Like what?" Lynn asked irritated at Lori's comment."
"Even if you no longer respect mom and dad, there's no way they'll allow any of us to reseal his room. if you do, then it'll only end up with an even longer grounding," Lori explained."
"Exactly," Carol said."
"pssh, they'll lift my punishment once they see I was right all along," Lynn dismissed angering Lynn sr. more."
"Well, it beats doing nothing, and we have to do something about what's happening to us. I can't keep wearing Lana's smelly clothes forever!" Lola complained."
"And what's wrong with my clothes?" Lana asked sarcastically, while feeding paras."
"You mean besides the fact that they smell like garbage?" Lola asked sarcastically."
"that's because I was wearing those duds when I was playing in the trash here the other day," Lana replied."
Lola looked at the clothes she was wearing in disbelief and disgust.
"And that's why I hate her clothes," Lola said."
Lana shrugs.
"Daddy, please at least try to convince mommy to let us reseal Lincoln's room!" Lola pleaded."
"Now Lola, I..." Lynn sr. said then looked around to see his daughters all looking at him with expectant looks in their eyes." (thinking) 'good god, now I know how Lincoln feels when he's on the spot!'
"Thank you," Lincoln said."
"Fine, I'll talk to Rita, but don't get your hopes up," Lynn sr. said. while Lynn jr. wasn't completely satisfied as the others were, she figured she might as well respect her dad's wishes, as she and the others went back up to their rooms."
Lynn sr. sighed in exasperation.
"Cursed room or not, that room is never getting sealed again, that's a promise Lincoln." Lynn sr. said."
"At least you're not fully on their side," Lance said."
Meanwhile, in the Santiago residence, living room,
Ronnie Anne was showing her family the footage from the USB stick that Lisa gave her, mostly notably the sister fight protocol incident. needless to say, everyone in that room was disgusted by how cruel the loud sisters were behaving, especially towards Lincoln.
"And now we see the footages," Carlos said."
"And to think, Lori seemed like such a nice girl," Hector commented."
"I can't believe I actually had some level of respect for her!" Carlota spat."
Lori winced.
"I don't get why they're fighting over the house, but is it really necessary to take control of the entire house?" Cj asked."
"More likely they needed much space as possible to resolve their petty squabble. although, since it's a dress, this does seem like overkill," Carlos replied."
"Yeah, especially since it shows that Leni had the dress first, and Lori just came home with her same dress, it's clear that Lori can't act her own age," Carlota said."
"Including, making up those two fake house rules, she doesn't realize that it's also Leni's room too, and telling Lincoln to never call her phone, what if she's their emergency call if her siblings can't reach their parents," Carlos asked."
"Yeah, and not feeling sorry for breaking his VR goggles, even though she bought him new ones she didn't have to call them a stupid toy, that like Lincoln calling her phone stupid," Rosa said."
Lori felt worse knowing that it's the truth.
"And how Lola got the sisters to prank Lincoln too just because he wanted peace and quiet and blackmailing him too, she's a true devil in disguised," carl said."
"And I meant it," Carl said."
Lola sulks knowing its true.
"Not only that, making fun of him for dressing up as his favorite superhero, blaming him for their mistakes, and costing him his cereal at the supermarket by getting him and themselves banned, then not tell their mom what really happened what heartless monsters," Cj said."
"And ruining his projects, eating all of his chocolates thus he and Clyde couldn't make their chocolate pies and not feeling guilty about it, being energy hogs, and hogging their parents then Clyde's parents when Lincoln wanted their help with his volcano project, destroyed his solar system just for a boy Lucy likes, laughing about his guru advise and assume girls aren't the same but boys are the same," maria said."
"Even making fun of his hand made coffee mugs, even if they look terrible, he put his heart and soul into making them, the parents shouldn't have put them in the attic with a box saying don't open, it's like they're saying they don't love them," Frida said sobbing."
"Worse they never take part in the stuff he likes even though he does the things they like," rosa said."
"And don't get me started on those pranks if you can even call those pranks, I mean raccoons, an embarrassing video and leaving him looking like that, all from saving Ronnie Anne from that wacko's pranks, I should really thank him for that," hector said."
"Also believing that if a girl picks on you that means she likes you, that stuff is sometimes true and sometimes a bully is a bully, I mean sloppy joes in someone's pants, they should get their heads examined, no offence prima," Carlota said as Ronnie Anne waved it off."
Everyone glares at the louds.
"You guys did all that to him?!" Leonard asked."
The louds just nod sadly.
"What is wrong with you all?!" Albert asked."
"W-We don't know dad," Rita replied."
"I mean, putting your son's handmade mugs in the attic and your daughters thinking it's fun to make fun of him!"
"Not doing what he likes and yet he does the things you like," Leonard said."
"Pranking and humiliating him just because he ignored you and hogging your parents and Clyde's dads for attention," Myrtle said."
"Hogging and wasting so much energy," Sharon said." And the rest, you all need to get your heads straight!"
The louds look down in shame.
"The more I watch these videos, the more I'm having second thoughts against uploading them to the internet," Ronnie Anne said."
"So, why don't you?" carl asked."
The sisters gasp.
"You wouldn't dare," Lola said."
"I would," Carl said."
"Because despite how they've treated Lincoln with the recent bad luck incident, he's still willing to give them a second chance. so far, only his mom, dad, Leni, Lucy, Lana, and Lisa have earned his forgiveness. Lily's the wild card for obvious reasons," Ronnie Anne replied."
"She's right everyone deserves a second chance," Rosa said." Even if they don't really deserve it."
The louds wince.
"I know they're reflecting," Lincoln said."
"I just can't believe that the girl I've been dating for several months is willing to treat her family this badly," bobby commented still overwhelmed by the revelation."
"Reality can really bum you out," Par said."
"You do realize that Lori almost smashed Lincoln with the living room table when he tried to refuse to go on that double date with you and Ronnie Anne," Carlota said making bobby feel even more worse."
"That's true," Mia said."
"I still say you should upload these videos. the world should know about how awful these girls really are, and I can't believe I was crushing on that tyrant Lori," carl said."
"I agree," Carl said."
"Even if that's true they deserve a second chance," Carlos said."
"I would, but I want to respect Lincoln's wishes and let them have their chance to earn his forgiveness, even though Lynn, Lola, and Lori don't deserve it," Ronnie Anne said."
"They really don't," Nikki said."
just then the phone started ringing. maria got up to answer.
"Hello, Santiago residence," Maria said. (some garbling was heard on the other end) it's for you, Mija."
she handed the phone to Ronnie Anne.
"Hello?" Ronnie Anne asked."
"Hello Ronnie Anne. I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time," Lisa's voice said over the line."
"Uh, not really busy at the moment. so, what up?" Ronnie Anne asked."
"Professor oak sent a recording of Lincoln's progress report, and I figured you and Clyde would like to come and watch?" Lisa offered."
"a recording? so, he isn't actually talking to us directly?" Ronnie Anne asked."
"Afraid not, given the time-zones. but once we're done watching the recording, we can make a little recording compilation of what we can ask him if there are any questions." Lisa replied."
"Better than nothing," Casey said."
"Hmm, well, that does sound a bit more productive. I'll call up Clyde and let him know." Ronnie Anne said."
"Please do. I would message him myself, but I'm working on something to help keep Lynn out of my room to prevent a repeat of last time. also, you and Clyde can meet Lincoln's Pokémon while you're here, since he sends six of them for me to study them." Lisa said."
"Good call. we'll come over as soon as we can," Ronnie Anne said hanging up."
"I bet we'll have fun with them," Clyde said."
"Everything alright. Mija?" hector asked."
"Yeah. since I learned that she's one of the few sisters to make it up to Lincoln. Lisa and I have been hanging out a bit more as of late. she invited me and Clyde over," Ronnie Anne replied."
"Do you need me to drive you over?" maria offered."
"Thanks, but it'll take time for Clyde to show up, and I need to contact him and let him know," Ronnie Anne declined."
"Well, if you're sure, but I figured I would offer, because I'd like to give Mr. and Mrs. loud a piece of my mind, even if Lincoln already forgave them," maria replied still peeved at what her daughter had told her the night before."
Rita and Lynn sr. felt nervous.
"Well, you can at least give some leeway to Mr. and Mrs. loud, since they did earn his forgiveness. as for Lori, Lynn, and Lola still thinking he's bad luck let loose. but that can all happen at a later date," Ronnie Anne said."
"Well, I suppose it would be better than trying to go in bluntly making a scene with no proof," maria said."
"Alright. I'm going to get my things and head over," Ronnie Anne said as she retrieved the USB, and made her way to her room."
"Hey, wait! aren't you going to post those videos?" carl asked."
"No. if anything, I've already gotten the proof I needed to get out to the people who I think need it the most," Ronnie Anne replied as she disappeared into the room."
"Just let it go, carl. Ronnie Anne knows what she's doing," Cj urged placing a hand on his brother's shoulder."
"Thank you, CJ," Ronnie Anne said."
within a few minutes, Ronnie Anne reemerges with her skateboard in hand.
"I've just texted Clyde, so I'll be back a little later," Ronnie Anne said exiting the house."
"So, Roberto, what do you intend to do now?" rosa asked."
"I don't know, abuela, but one thing for certain, I have to make Lori realize that her family has to come first before anything else, including me," bobby replied."
"I agree," Rosa said."
Lori winced.
"Whatever you decide to do, know that we're behind you all the way," Carlota replied."
meanwhile, with Ronnie Anne,
after leaving her house, Ronnie Anne was skateboarding towards the loud house. she was looking forward to listening to the recording to see how Lincoln's doing in kanto since they last spoke, along with meeting his Pokémon. she saw that she was nearing the house in question, just as Clyde.
"Hey Clyde, glad you made it quickly, Ronnie Anne said."
"Hey Ronnie Anne, am I late?" Clyde asked."
"Nope. we're right on time," Ronnie Anne replied as they approached the front door."
"You two are really excited to hear the report," Danny said."
inside the dining room,
Rita was sitting at the table, spoon feeding lily some food while Leni was nearby working on her latest Pokémon fashion design. Lynn sr. finished making food for Lincoln's Pokémon to enjoy along with the pets. Lily was happily clapping as Rita was spooning her some more food, Rita's thoughts were elsewhere.
"Such a cute scene," Carlota said."
'What could that girl be thinking, sealing off Lincoln's room again?' Rita thought as she remembers a conversation that she had with her husband about half an hour ago.
flashback, half an hour ago,
Rita was sitting at her desk in the master bedroom, writing her latest novel based on Lincoln's travels in kanto.
"You're really writing your son's journey?" Maria asked."
"I would read it," Frida said."
Rita remembers take your daughter to work day where she writes a story about Lincoln's quest on getting her book.
'This might be one of the best novels I've ever worked on yet!' Rita thought as her thoughts returned to what had happened during the most recent call from Lincoln.' doesn't junior know her actions have consequences? she's going to be in for the rudest awakening ever when she realizes how the world actually works.'
"It's true, actions have consequences,"Sisiki said."
The sisters mostly Lori, Lynn, and Lola felt guilty.
her thoughts were then interrupted by the sound of knocking at the door.
"it's open!" Rita called."
the door opened revealing Lynn sr.
"Hey honey," Lynn sr. greeted as he walked in and closed the door."
"Hey sweetie, is there something you need, I'm kind of busy at the moment." Rita said."
"Junior wanted me to discuss the regards of Lincoln's room." Lynn sr. said."
"What about it?" Rita asked."
"She and the girls on her side were wondering if would be fine sealing his room back up. after the unlucky day they had yesterday, junior thinks there might still be some bad luck in there." Lynn sr. replied."
Rita then got up from her chair, looked at her husband with a soulless stare as her husband gave the same look.
"She does look soulless with that stare," Boris said."
"Lynn, I say this in all honesty and seriousness. tell her if she or any of the girls even THINK of trying to reseal Lincoln's bedroom or even bring the subject up again, then I will NOT hesitate to do to them what we did to Lincoln." Rita said."
Everyone gasps.
"You don't mean...!?" Lynn sr. asked a little scared."
"Yes, I do. they won't be sleeping in this house until Lincoln comes home, AND I'll sell some, if not ALL of their stuff like we did with his furniture." Rita replied."
What?!" Albert said." Rita isn't that a little extreme?"
"I don't know, it'll teach them a real lesson," Myrtle said."
"I agree with you Rita, it's high time they learned a lesson about empathy by walking a mile in Lincoln's shoes, and they have to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them, I'll go let them know in the meantime I'll finish up making lunch for the Pokémon first then the kids," Lynn sr. said as he exits the room."
"They should really know that the world doesn't revolve around them especially Lola," Frida said."
"Precisely," Rosa said." And what it's like in their brother's shoes."
The sisters especially Lola winced knowing their right.
end of flashback,
'I'm glad Lynn didn't let the bad luck nonsense get into his head, we both know we don't play favorites with our kids,' Rita thought.'
"And yet you two barely noticed him," Maria said."
Rita and Lynn sr. wince.
just then, her thoughts were interrupted by a slight tugging on her sleeve. she looked up to see Lily looking rather worried.
"Oh, sorry sweetie. I was just thing about something your sister said. I don't care if the others are having a bad day, Lincoln's room stays unsealed." Rita said."
"Bad?" Lily tilted her head curiously."
"Yes sweetie, that's very bad. especially after we promised both Lincoln and pop-pop that we would leave it open. besides, with how selfishly junior's behaving, lucy won't have anywhere else to sleep," Rita replied."
"Except for Lincoln's room," Haiku said."
"Inkcoln! op-op!" lily squealed happily at the mention of her brother and grandfather."
"Aw," everyone said."
"Yes, I know you want to see you brother, but at the moment, he's not here right now," Rita said."
"Inky bye-bye?" lily asked sounding a bit sad."
"I'm afraid so precious. just to satisfy junior's wishes, we had to agree to send him to the other side of the world," Lynn sr. replied petting the Pokémon."
"But on the plus side, Lincoln's sure to have tons of stories about his travels. about the places he's been to, the people he's met, all kinds of stories," Leni chimed in sewing some sequins into her latest creation."
"I'm curious on the outfit your making," Carlota said."
"Well, it's based on Butterfree," Leni said."
Lily only giggled at the thought of hearing Lincoln's stories.
"Yes, we're all looking forward to hearing more of Lincoln's stories, Lily. though I wish I could speak for everyone. the others still seem bent on the whole bad luck nonsense," Rita said casting a glance towards the living room."
"ba'uck!" lily blew a raspberry at the mention of the cause of all the tension in the house."
"Heh, glad to hear that you're on our side, Lily," Rita said."
"Yeah, bad luck bad," Lily said."
"Thankfully, he has friends with him to help him out every step of the way," Leni added."
"fwens?" lily asked."
"Yes, he's made quite a few friends during his stay in kanto. there's that ren boy he met on his first day as a trainer, as well as that brock fellow and that misty girl," Rita replied."
"Not to mention that brock is just like Lincoln, when he's taking care of his siblings," Lisa said as she entered the room."
"that's true Lisa, after showing the footage of the household to us about him doing Lori's job better, by the way was there something you needed, Lisa? Lynn sr. asked."
"I forgot she had security cameras in the house," Lori muttered."
"Two things, actually. first, professor oak has sent a recorded message containing Lincoln's second progress report, and I've invited his peers over to hear it and meet his Pokémon," Lisa replied."
"a recorded video report? that's convenient. and the other thing?" Rita asked."
"I've finished retrigging the electrical device in my door so that the current runs through the doorknob, as to avoid a repeat of last time," Lisa replied."
"As long as our electricity bill doesn't go through the room," Lynn sr. grimaced at the thought of the next bill."
"Hate to imagine the price," Leonard said."
"You needn't worry. I have my own, private generator in my room that the current is running from. and don't bother asking me to hook it up to the house. it isn't big enough, and I don't have the parts to build a larger one," Lisa said."
"Very clever," David said."
"Fair enough," Rita said."
just then, some knocking came from the door.
"That must be Lincoln's friends. could you go and answer it, Lisa? I need to finish feeding lily?" Rita asked."
"I'll be up in a few minutes too. I just have to stitch this last section together," Leni added."
"I'll let Lana know too, (looking at the Pokémon) you fellows can join us too, meet us in Lisa's room," Lynn sr. said."
"Very well then. once I escort Lincoln's peers to my room, I'll go and look for Lucy. and any idea where she is?"
"I think I saw her go in the attic. you should check there," Leni replied."
with a nod, Lisa went to answer the door, where Lincoln's friends were waiting behind.
"Hey Lisa, hope we're not too early," Clyde said."
"On the contrary, you guys are on time. we're all getting ready to listen to the professor's latest progress report," Lisa replied."
"Great! so, can we come in?" Ronnie Anne asked."
"You may. my room is upstairs. you know where it is," Lisa replied stepping aside to let the older kids in."
they made their way upstairs, followed by Lisa. Clyde was about to enter Lisa's room, just as Luna excited her own room.
"Goodness what happened to you?!" Clyde asked."
"I had a bad run in with some wasps yesterday," Luna replied." you wouldn't happen to have anything to help with these welts, do you?"
"At the moment, I do not. but I'll see about concocting something later today that can at the very least help with the itching. but in return, I would like for you to deliver a message to the others," Lisa replied."
"a message? what kind of message?" Luna asked perplexed."
"Yeah, what message?" Luna asked." and thanks for stuff to deal with welts."
"You'll see," Lisa replied."
"Along with our parents, Leni, Lucy, Lana, and Lincoln's peers, are going to be listening to a recorded video that professor oak was kind enough to send over regarding Lincoln's second progress report. considering what happened the last time he called, I made some measures to keep any unwanted company out, including you, and our sisters especially Lynn," Lisa replied icily pulling out a remote." do you know what this remote for?"
"Can't say I do," Luna replied."
"I rather not know," Sam said."
"Then allow me to refresh your memory. I used this remote to keep you all inside of my room during the first report," Lisa said."
"That was when..." Luna said then remembered the electric current." you wouldn't!"
"She would," Mazzy said."

Luna unnerved by the young genius icy words, did as she was asked, and lowered the ladder.
"Thank you," Lisa said as she climbed up into the attic."
in the attic,
Lucy was sitting in the darkest part of the attic with her bust of Edwin, a look of wicked glee on her face.
"What's she smiling about?" Laird asked."
"I can't believe the karma curse actually worked, Edwin. it even exceeded my own expectations. and things are bound to get even worse for them the longer they hold off apologizing to Lincoln, especially what Harriett told me, "Lucy said gleefully."
"What did she say?" Boris asked."
flashback, in the attic,
"So, you're saying he has a friend who'll give them real traumatizing nightmares?" Lucy asked."
"Yes indeed, once those nightmares hit them it'll make them promise to never do this nonsense again," Harriette replied."
"Wow, that's amazing," Haiku said."
"Wow, you truly are amazing Harriette," Lucy said."
"Thank you dear, and I hope you and the rest of the family become better after this," Harriette said."
"Us to," Leopard said."
"No worries, I can tell after their nightmares they'll fully change their ways," Lucy replied."
end of flashback, back to the present-day attic,
"So that explains the circumstances befalling our family as of late (Lucy jumped upon hearing Lisa's voice) hmm, now I see why you do that to us so much. that was rather amusing," Lisa said as she approached Lucy."
"She got found out," Rocky said."
"Oh, uh, Lisa! what brings you here?" Lucy asked calming down."
"I just came to let you know that professor oak sent a recorded message containing Lincoln's second progress report, and along with mom, dad, Leni, Lana, Lincoln's friends will be joining us," Lisa replied."
"Ok, I'll be down in a few minutes," Lucy said before her demeanor suddenly turned nervous." uh, you won't... tell anyone about the curse, will you?"
"You needn't worry. this could be just what they need to get their heads out of the gutter. but in all seriousness, this curse isn't fatal, is it? while I do believe they had it coming, I have to draw the line at something that could potentially kill them," Lisa replied her tone turning serious."
"That's a good point," Rosa said." We don't want a curse that'll kill them."
Lucy then looked through the spell in question.
"It doesn't look like it. if anything, the curse will keep them alive, since they need to pay back their karmic dues in order to break the spell. and you and I both know that doing so is impossible if you're dead," lucy replied before turning her attention the attic's entrance." though, based on what we've seen, I bet that they wish it was fatal."
"Maybe," Lana said."
"Am I ever glad that the six of us were able to earn Lincoln's forgiveness when we did. I shudder to think about what we would've gone through if we hadn't," Lisa said shuddering at the thought of being forced into a similar scenario as the others did."
Lucy shuddered as well.
Rita, Lynn sr., Leni, and Lana shuddered as well.
"Well, how about we don't dwell on this, and go and listen to the report?" Lucy asked trying to change the subject."
"Good call," Lisa replied as they excited the attic."
"By the way, do you have any way to prevent the others from interrupting?" Lucy asked."
"I just finished a while ago. with a flip of this switch, the doorknob will be electrified, and we won't have any concerns about the others ruining things like Lynn did," Lisa replied showing lucy the remote."
"that's good to know," lucy said as they entered the toddler's bedroom, where the others were waiting while Clyde and Ronnie Anne, were getting to know Lincoln's Pokémon."
"So, these are Pokémon? Clyde asked."
"Yup, this is rockruff, butterfree, beedrill, poliwhirl, paras, and zubat," Lana replied."
"Wow, these guys are awesome, Ronnie Anne said as rockruff rubbed his cheek on Ronnie Anne's face making her giggle."
"So cute," Frida said taking a picture."
"Is everyone here?" Lisa asked as she and lucy entered the room."
"All present and accounted for," Rita replied as she placed lily in her crib. Lisa then shut the door."
"Just sending Lori a text about mine and Rita's talk about a certain request," Lynn sr. said texting on his phone."
"Good. now, before we begin," Lisa said as she flipped the switch." there, that's ought to keep out any unwanted intruders."
"what'd you do?" Ronnie Anne asked."
"To put it simply, there's an electric current running through the doorknob. I reworked my room's security system after Lincoln's last call so that any intrusions would not be possible by anyone, especially Lynn. the current is only strong enough to keep them from barging in," Lisa explained."
"Smart thinking," Lynn sr. commented."
"Very smart," Leonard said."
"Alright, now then, I'll just open the video, and we'll be good to go," Lisa said as she got onto the computer to boot up the video."
however, no one noticed it, but Lily had taken the remote Lisa put on the dresser. her attention immediately went to the "voltage control" dial. she giggled happily, as she spun the dial upward, which seemed to cause the doorknob to glow, with sparks coming from it.
"That's not good," Myrtle said." Rita, you should've noticed that."
"Yeah, I should've," Rita said."
meanwhile downstairs,
"So, you're saying that the professor sent a video with another one of those bogus reports about Lincoln's adventures, and Lisa told you to warn the rest of us not to interfere, saying that she's using the same device to keep us in her room the last time he called about a report. do I understand that all right?" Lori asked upon being told by Luna abut Lisa's warning."
"Yeah, you got everything right, right down to the part about her doorknob. I saw bloody sparks coming from that thing! Luna exclaimed pointing to the staircase."
"Thanks for letting them know," Lisa said."
Lola scoffed.
"Yeah right. even if that were true, mommy and daddy would NEVER allow her to do that." Lola said."
"I don't know but mom and pops might let her," Luna said until Lori got a text from their dad."
"Hang on I got a text from dad," Lori said reading it shocked." WHAT don't they know that OUR safety is at stake here!?"
"what's going on?" Lola asked."
"Dad talked to mom and she said his room stays unsealed and if we ask again or attempt to seal him room again, then she'll make us experience everything we did to Lincoln and dad agreed with her." Lori replied."
"You mean, they would force us to sleep out on the lawn, like animals?!" Lola blanched at the very thought."
"Not only that they also vowed to sell off our belongings," Lori said."
needless to say, every sister was horrified at the consequences that their parents had set forth.
"I saw they should experience what they put Lincoln through," Dana said."
Everyone nods as the sisters felt nervous.
"So, we either deal with the bad luck Lincoln's room is causing us, or we seal it off and risk having our stuff sold off and being forced to sleep outside. talk about being a rock and a hard place," Lori groaned."
"Yup," Carol said."
"This is your fault, Lynn!" Lola accused."
"My fault?! it's not my fault that rotten ex-brother of ours decided to ruin my game with his bad luck! everything we've been through is Lincoln's fault not mine!" Lynn snapped."
"Of course it's your fault, you moron," Margo said." you have to stop blaming others for your mistakes."
Lynn looks away.
"Well, maybe if you hadn't threatened him to come to your stupid game, then maybe none of this would be happening! besides, Lincoln is the only one in this house whose attendance to our events is mandatory. he would've come either way," Lori stated."
"Yeah? well, no one exactly told you guys to get on the whole 'Lincoln's bad luck' bandwagon in the first place! you guys did that yourselves!" Lynn said pointing at each of them."
"She's got a point there too," Paula said."
"That's true," Lance said."
"Actually, Lori's right. you started this whole mess by sprouting off all your superstitious mumbo-jumbo," Luan commented nodding her head." did it ever cross your mind that the "softball gods" were punishing you for threatening Lincoln to come to your game?"
"They probably were this whole time," Benny said."
"Yeah, for being a bad sport," Giggles said."
Lynn begins to feel worse.
"Yeah? well, then what about after I warned Leni about his bad luck? he went around that house that day telling us about it himself! he even proved it himself by smashing Lori's dumb golf clubs!" Lynn argued." also don't you dare insult the softball gods or you want to lose your teeth."
Margo and Paula roll their eyes.
Luna then had a look of contemplation on her face.
'that's the morning Lincoln went around telling everyone he was bad luck,' Luna thought.' but why would he do something stupid? it was almost like...'a look of shocked realization worked its way onto her face while everyone was arguing with Lynn,' he was trying to convince everyone not to bring him to their activities. kind of makes sense in hindsight. Lynn tried to warn Leni about Lincoln's bad luck, then he gets the idea to go along with it just so he can stay home.'
"Ding, ding, ding you got Luna," Sully said."
"You heard what Lincoln said to mom and dad, he was just exhausted from our activities, and besides he's right on some of us not being at each other's events even though we say the family supports each other," Luan said."
"That's true Luan," Benny said." How can you say this family supports each other if you never went to each other's events?"
"Exactly," Francisco said."
The louds couldn't answer.
"Yeah, and he's not the only one who's exhausted, our parents are too. it's like Lincoln said we don't take no for an answer, we would have played the guilt card of our parents just to make them come to our events," Luna added."
"That's true," Sam said."
"To hell with this! I'm sealing off the room, and I'm not about to let them or anyone else stop me from protecting us!" Lynn declared as she continued stomping upstairs."
"Jeez Lynn, your pride is worse than the rest," Par said."
"You know they're going to say no, right?" Lori asked eyebrow raised."
"Like I give a crap!" Lynn yelled back."
"But What about the doorknob?" Luan asked."
"that's just a bluff! Lisa would never be allowed to do that!" Lynn yelled."
"I'd better get up there and stop her from doing something stupid," Luan declared getting up from the couch, and making his way upstairs."
"Good idea," Alexis said."
"I don't get why she's trying to save her sorry butt. she doesn't even deserve it," Lola grumbled before turning to the others." so, what now?"
"Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I intent to keep watching our show. if mom and dad get mad at Lynn for her stupidity again, then that's on her," Lori stated as she continued to watch the dream boat."
Lola decided to join her.
"You going to join us, Luna?" Lola asked her older sister."
"Uh, I don't think so. I've got some stuff to think about, so I'll just..." Luna replied until the sound of a loud zapping, followed by the lights flickering, and one person screaming was heard from upstairs," the bloody hell?!"
"Guess Lisa wasn't bluffing about the doorknob after all," Lola commented."
"Nope," Meli said."
"Should we go help Luan with Lynn?" Luna asked."
"No way, that's on Lynn. she had a chance to heed Lisa's warning, and she blew it. she's not getting any sympathy from any of us, so now we can..." Lori replied."
"Most caring sister of the year anyone?" Carol asked sarcastically."
Lori looked down in shame.
it was then Lori noticed that the TV screen was completely black.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Lori said as she got up to investigate."
she then saw the power cable had been shot out of the socket and melted. she immediately dropped it.
"YEOWCH, that's hot!" Lori said."
"Luna then checked the back of the TV.
"Hmm, looks like the TV itself has shorted out. I doubt it'll ever work again," Luna declared."
"Dang, that's not good," Zach said."
"Ugh, as if this bad luck streak wasn't bad enough already!" Lola groaned."
"Well, seeing how it's hot, we should at least go and check to see if Lynn's alright," Lori declared as they made their way upstairs."
"Oh, so now you care about her," Becky said sarcastically."
upon reaching the top of the stairs, they saw Luan looking at Lynn shocked, twitching and smoking from the electricity on the doorknob.
"Anyone got marshmallows?" Carl asked."
"Carl!" Frida yelled."
"You still alive Lynn," Luan asked."
"I'd be better if I wasn't all smoking and numb right now. thanks for checking on me, by the way," Lynn replied to her sisters irritated."
"You brought this on yourself by choosing to be stupid," Lori stated harshly."
feeling too tired and numb from getting zapped, Lynn just got up herself.
"Whatever. I'm going to watch TV." Lynn said."
"Can't. that surge of electricity fried the TV," Luna said."
"WHAT?! you have got to be joking!" Lynn groaned."
"This is just ANOTHER thing your stupidity is responsible for, Lynn!" Lola said giving the athlete a nasty glare, only to get a shaky middle in response."
"She's right Lynn," Cricket said."
"So now what? the TV is toast, and we can't go out looking like we do now," Lori questioned."
"Well, we can always listen to the progress report," Luan suggested."
"How do we do that? the doorknob's booby trapped, and Lisa and probably mom and pops won't take too kindly to us bashing down the door?" Luna questioned."
"Well, I have cameras all over the house, so I never miss any bit of footage," Luan replied."
Everyone looks at Luan.
"Any particular reason why you have cameras all over the house?" Rita asked."
(Chuckles nervously) "To obtain footage of funny and embarrassing moments of your lives," Luan replied."
"You mean like that footage you played of me for April fool's day?" Lincoln asked."
"Yeah," Luan replied." And we know Lisa uses those cameras to monitor us."
Lisa chuckles.
"When we get home, they're coming down," Rita said sternly."
"Yes mom," Luan and Lisa said."
"Really? do they pick up sound too?" Lori asked."
"Yep. and if I recall, I think Lisa's room has five cameras in it," Luan replied."
"Seriously?" Fiona asked."
she then got weird looks from the others.
"What? I like getting footage from every angle." Luan said."
"Another thing we'll be talking about later," Lynn sr. said."
"Well, it's not like we got anything better to do," Lori commented as they made their way to Luna and Luan's room."
meanwhile, in the town of route 25, nighttime,
"Alright brock you all set," Lincoln asked."
"Yup, and don't worry I'll use your advice, so I won't mess this up," brock replied wearing a tuxedo with two sets of flowers and chocolates."
"He looks good," Jackie said."
"Yup," Mia said."
'let's hope' Lincoln thought as brock leaves to meet up with his dates.'
"don't do anything I wouldn't do," misty said."
"You mean have fun," Lincoln laughed as misty rolled her eyes and left."
Everyone laughs.
"Good one Link," Benny said."
just then a man came up to Lincoln.
"Excuse me young man, I need some help," the man said."
"What is it sir?" Lincoln asked."
"Can you be a judge in my contest? so, you see, one of my judges got sick and can't make it, so I've been looking around to see if anyone can fill in the spot," the man explained."
"That depends, what kind of contest?" Lincoln asked."
"Yeah, what kind?" Lance asked."
"it's a bikini contest," the man replied surprising Lincoln."
"Ok, I'll do it," Lincoln said fast."
The girls look at Lincoln.
"Really, you easily agreed to do because it's a bikini contest?" Lori asked."
"Lucky," Rusty said."
"Yeah," Carl said."
"What, you got to be crazy to not agree to it," Lincoln replied."
"He's got a point," Lynn sr. said."
"Yup," Lance said."
The other guy's nod in agreement until Rita and the girls give them looks.
"Oh, well ok then," the man said."
elsewhere in kanto,
Jessie and James were training their Pokémon for their rematch with Lincoln, until James got a call on his cellphone.
"Jessie? James? where have you idiots been?!" a man's voice yelled from the other end."
both of them blanched at the voice of one of team rocket's executive members, and the boss's right-hand man, Proton.
"Oh, uh... Proton, sir! we meant to call earlier, but we were..." Jessie replied before she was cut off."
"I don't care about your excuses! Giovanni is growing impatient with the lack of progress you two made. I mean, it's not a difficult task! just monitoring one brat!" Proton said."
"W-well, the brat in question has been giving us a bit of trouble as of late, so we decided to bolster our ranks a little bit," James replied."
"Hmm, well, I can at very least respect the fact that you're doing something to help make your assignment easier, however, the boss is expecting a report sometime soon. and you both know how little patience he has." Proton said."
"Right. we'll get back on it soon, sir! jessie said."
"See that you do, or you're out of the job!" porton said as he hung up."
"He sounds like a higher up," CJ said."
"I agree," Sid said."
"Yikes, and here I thought the boss had a bad temper," meowth commented."
"Believe me, meowth, that kind of chew out is NOTHING compared to what Giovanni can do when he's really mad," James replied shuddering at that thought."
"Well, in any case, we should get back to work. that brat should be close to cerulean cape by now," jessie said as they made their way back to the balloon."
"Welp, that ends part one," Lincoln said." on to part 2."
"I wonder how brock will do on his dates," Clyde said."
"It'll probably go well," Lincoln said."
