Before this story begins, I originally intended it to be a Persona-based Tiny Toons series with them getting personas, but then I realised that I didn't need to do that and could use their Just-Us League alter egos instead, so that's what I'm doing.
ACME Acres, a whole wide world apart. It stands alone as a cartoon work of art. It is the home place of cartoons characters who happen to be Tiny, Tooney, and a little Looney. Among these characters are two rabbits named Buster and Babs Bunny, no relation. There are a bunch of other Tiny Toons who you may know who they are. The Tiny Toons were having another day at their school, ACME Looniversity. It was Thursday, two more days until they enjoy their next summer vacation.
"WHAT?!" Exploded the voice of Plucky Duck.
Plucky had just found out that his best friend, Hamton J Pig, had recently entered a relationship with a female classmate, Fifi la Fume.
"Plucky, Fifi and I are together." Explained Hamton.
"You told me that already, Hammy!" Yelled Plucky.
He turned to Fifi looking rather peeved.
"Listen to me you walking expired air freshener!" Snarled Plucky. "Hammy is my best friend! We've been friends longer than you've had eyes for him! If you hurt him or break his heart, so help me-"
"Enough!" Hamton yelled.
He pulled his feathered friend away from his girlfriend.
"Plucky, there's nothing to worry about." Hamton informed. "Me and Fifi have been getting along throughout the show, aside from that prom. What about your 'relationship' with Shirley?"
"Do not bring that up, Hammy!" Plucky growled. "We've never established a relationship and you know it!"
"The point I'm making is that me and Fifi are happy." Hamton continued. "You should be happy for us."
"I'm... getting a snack from the vending machine." Plucky sighed through gritted teeth.
He stormed off, leaving Hamton to have his hand held by Fifi.
"Do not worry, mon petit bacon of bits." She said. "I am sure 'e will, 'ow shall I say eet, come around and accept us."
"You're right." Hamton sighed, pulling Fifi in for a hug. "He's always been the jealous type. Just ask Babs or Buster."
As Plucky stormed to the vending machine, he heard Elmyra run up to him.
"Ooh, a duckie!" She squealed.
Plucky, not in the mood to take crap from any toon, sent Elmyra spinning across the hallways and into an open locker with a right hook. She was spinning across the hallways as if she was Dizzy Devil.
"Ooh, pretty birdies." She said, dazed and dizzy from the whole thing.
Plucky helped himself to a bag of chips and a can of soda from the vending machines, which he scarfed down in double-quick time.
"Hey, Pluckster." Greeted Buster. "What are you so cheesed off about? Did Hollywood reject another one of your duck movies again."
"No." Seethed Plucky. "Hammy has got himself in a relationship with Babs' stinky friend."
"Are you talking about Fifi?" Babs asked, sounding somewhat offended at Plucky's remark about her friend.
"Who else?!" Snapped Plucky. "What does Hammy even see in her?! And who's to say she won't leave him for a boy skunk?! If she does that, she'll have me to answer to!"
"Plucky, calm down." Buster replied. "She makes Hamton happy."
"For now she does." Plucky replied, coldly.
As he walked off, he silently growled to himself:
"So help me, if she hurts Hammy, I'll use her tail as toilet paper!"
Later that day, every student of ACME Looniversity was called to a special assembly being hosted by the principal of ACME Looniversity: Bugs Bunny. No introduction to this character needed.
"Alright, docs. Glad y'all could make it." Bugs announced. "There's something big I've gotta tell y'all about. It majorly involves the name of Tiny Toons. I'd like to tell you all about: Tiny Toons Looniversity."
The Tiny Toons talked among them on what Bugs was talking about. Tiny Toons Looniversity? What did that mean?
"You mean, they're putting us back in the air?" Plucky asked, excitedly. "Ya-HOOOOOO!"
"I haven't finished yet, doc!" Yelled Bugs. "Sit back down!"
Plucky sulked as he returned to his seat.
"Now then, about this Tiny Toons Looniversity." Bugs continued. "It was hoped to be a show with you guys back, but was changed to a reboot mid-production. And there is one major change they did that a lot of y'all are gonna dislike."
The students looked with anticipation as Bugs made his announcement.
"In this Tiny Toons Looniversity reboot, Babs and Buster are twins." Bugs stated.
To say that there was absolute pandemonium in ACME Looniversity would be the biggest understatement yet. There was yelling, throwing, screaming, and shouting galore.
"Them being related make no sense!" Yelled Dizzy.
"Twins?" Hamton inquired.
"Like, what the heck!" Shirley exclaimed. "That change is totally ridiculous or some junk!"
"B-but 'no relation' was our catchphrase throughout the show!" Babs protested.
"Call the Warner Brothers! Call my manager! Call my agent! Call the government!" Buster yelled.
"ENOUGH!" Bellowed Bugs, causing all the students to stop immediately. "It wasn't my decision to make! The people of WB did it! Tom Reugger didn't like the idea but it happened. I've managed to find episodes of the show. Let's view them."
He showed the Tiny Toons episodes of TTL. Out of all the episodes, they (mostly Buster and Babs) got mad at Twin-Con as they kept hammering in that the reboot versions of Buster and Babs related.
"This is an outrage!" Buster yelled. "I'm not standing for this!"
"And I can't believe I'm saying this, but this Aqua Loo is way inferior to Perfecto Prep!" Babs yelled. "I want a word with the people behind this!"
"I hate to tell ya, docs." Bugs replied. "But there's nothing that can be done. This assembly is dismissed."
After walking out of the assembly hall, Buster and Babs were still outraged by the reboot.
"What are we gonna do, Buster?" Babs asked. "These rebooted versions of us aren't us at all."
"Only one thing to do." Buster replied. "We go to their world and introduce them to us."
"How are we gonna get there?" Babs asked.
"We could do another flood and travel there by table again." Buster suggested.
"Absolutely not!" Babs exclaimed. "Not after last time! There has to be another way we could get there, like us tunnelling there."
"Stop right there!" Plucky yelled, storming over to them. "I've heard all about your plan, and I wanna come with!"
"Well Plucky, we'll need to establish how we can get there first." Buster replied.
"Well I ain't tunnelling underground!" Plucky exclaimed. "There has to be another way!"
"I know." Hamton said, walking over. "We could ask my parents to-"
"NO!" Bellowed Plucky. "Never again!"
"Plucky, I've apologized for the stuff that happened on that trip like a billion times!"
"Well apologizing isn't gonna fix my comic book!" Plucky snapped coldly. "And for the record, how did you even enter a relationship with that skunk anyways?! I thought you were with my dream girl after that spring break trip we did! The one where Buster and Babs made Elmyra think I was the Easter Bunny!"
"Plucky, how many times are you gonna get us to apologize for that?" Buster asked.
"As infinity is infinity!" Plucky replied.
"She's been chasing us throughout the entire trip!" Babs protested.
"So you pawn her off on ME?!" Plucky snapped.
"What would you have done if you were in our shoes?!" Asked Buster. "Knowing you, you probably would've done the same to us!"
"You're only saying that because you're bitter about Montana Max ditching you after he became rich!" Plucky scoffed.
"WHAT?!" Buster snapped. "How did you know about that?!"
"In case you haven't noticed, we have our own show!" Explained Plucky. "Don't think I haven't seen re-runs of it!"
From the halls came Penelope, who approached them as they were arguing.
"I would like you four to come with me." She said.
She lead the four Tiny Toons into a classroom and sat at the teacher's desk.
"I've heard what you are talking about." She said.
"So Buster and Babs are in trouble for what they did to me on spring break?" Plucky asked, eagerly.
"I wasn't done yet." Penelope replied. "You four want to travel to the reboot version of ACME Acres, right?"
"That's right, Miss Penelope." Hamton replied.
"Just Penelope will suffice." Penelope replied. "Anyways, I am prepared to make you an offer, and Furrball is involved."
"Furrball?" Babs asked. "What about him?"
Penelope sighed before she explained.
"He hasn't been getting much care throughout the show's history." She explained. "He's always being tormented and is mostly unlucky. And I would like to see him getting some care from his friends. And that has lead to Furrball becoming rather shy, which is the reason he doesn't talk much."
"Oh yeah..." Came Buster's reply. "But how he was treated wasn't up to us. If I could change it, he'd be getting as much respect as the rest of us."
"It's a relief to see that's how you feel." Penelope replied. "Now let's get to the offer. I know someone who owns a lot of mobile homes, and these mobile homes are unique because they can be even better driven by those who don't have drivers licenses, and due to plot convenience, can hold as many people as you like."
"You mean we get to drive it ourselves?" Plucky asked, excitedly.
"Yes but please let me finish." Penelope replied. "Here's the deal: if you invite Furrball to come with you on your trip, I'll get my friend to lend you one of these mobile homes. Do we have a deal?"
She held out a hand for a handshake.
"Sure, Furrball can come." Said Buster. "It's the least we can do for him."
"Yeah." Babs agreed. "And besides, the more the merrier."
"Maybe this trip will help Furrball be less shy." Agreed Hamton.
"Quick question." Said Plucky. "What if we invite him and he declines?"
"Even if he says no, you'll still get the mobile home because at least you made him the offer, which is all I ask of you." Penelope explained. "So, do we have a deal?"
"Penelope, you've got a deal." Said Buster and Babs simultaneously, as they shook Penelope's hand.
"Are we allowed to invite others as well?" Hamton asked.
"Of course you can." Penelope replied. "As long as you invite Furrball first, even if he doesn't accept it."
After the deal was made, the four Tiny Toons went to look for Furrball. They found him getting his books from his locker.
"Hey Furrball." Greeted Buster.
Furrball closed his locker and waved at the Tiny Toons with a friendly smile on his face.
"We are going on a trip to meet our reboot counterparts." Said Babs. "And we would love to have you come with us."
"Penelope had a little talk with us, and it made us realize that you should be treated better than the way you're being treated." Added Hamton. "This trip is going to be quite long, but at least you'll have somewhere to sleep that isn't your cardboard box or Elmyra's house. So, would you like to come with us?"
Furrball, with a happy expression, nodded.
"Great, you're with us." Said Plucky, nonchalantly.
Buster started to gently pat Furrball's head.
"Don't worry, you'll be treated like a proper friend on this trip." He assured. "We'll invite others and see to it that they treat you nice as well."
"Hold it!" Yelled Sweetie, as she flew over. "You're inviting that cat and not me?! This is an outrage! He constantly chases me and tries to-"
Buster clamped down on Sweetie's beak with his index finger and thumb.
"He chased you because that's what he's been assigned by Professor Sylvester!" Buster exclaimed. "And it doesn't help that you always torment the guy!"
Sweetie pulled herself from Buster's pinch.
"If you're bringing him, you better bring me!" She demanded.
"You can come if you behave yourself." Babs replied. "And by that, I mean do not torment Furrball!"
"Fine!" Sulked Sweetie. "But bring Sneezer too."
"Bring me where?" Asked Sneezer.
"Hey Sneezer, we're going to travel to our reboot's world." Said Buster.
"Is Plucky coming?" Sneezer asked, excitedly. "If he is, I'm going! He is my hero after all."
"You better believe I'm coming." Plucky proclaimed, proudly.
"Then count me in!" Announced Sneezer.
The Tiny Toons went around inviting their other friends for the trip. The ones who they invited were Byron, Calamity, Shirley, Little Beeper, and Fifi. Dizzy said he was visiting a meat factory, Fowlmouth is going to visit his uncle, Mary is going to a flower emporium, Marcia is visiting the planet Venus, Concord is attending an air show, just to name a few. Elmyra found out that they were going in a trip and proceeded to constantly beg, plead, and harass the Tiny Toons into letting them join, until Plucky shoved an anvil into her mouth and stuffed her into a locker.
"So, you invited your friends?" Penelope asked. "Let me log you all. Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Shirley, Fifi, Furrball, Sweetie, Calamity, Little Beeper, Byron, and Sneezer."
"That's all of us." Babs replied.
"Like, how are we even going to get there or some junk?" Shirley asked.
"As per the agreement we made earlier, I shall contact my friend and get him to lend a mobile home." Penelope replied. "The mobile home should be here tomorrow."
That was when the final bell rang for the end of school that day.
"Meet me outside the school tomorrow morning." Instructed Penelope. "See you then."
After being dismissed, the Tiny Toons parted ways, as tomorrow they will be with each other for days on end in their way to meet their reboot selves. Everything seemed right in ACME Acres, or so they thought...
That night, as everyone was asleep, something began to happen. What exactly? Well, a strange portal in a strange shape began to open. From that portal came a strange yet familiar figure.
"So, this is ACME Acres." Said the figure. "Time to make it a bit more... Wacky."
The figure raised its hand and a lot more portals began to open. Strange shadow-like creatures that are shaped like anthropomorphic animals came out and began to attack ACME Acres, doing things such as knocking over lampposts, vandalising stop signs, pulling out "Do Not Walk on the Grass" signs, emptying trash bags all over the paths, and most dread-inducing: leaving the toilet seats up on every toilet there is!
"Perfect." Chuckled the mystery figure who summoned the creatures. "There is a bright side and a dark side, and now there is a wacky side!"
Meanwhile, in a place far away that nobody can see, there was a group of majestic heroes known as the Heroes Exacting Cheerful Kindness. They're are a legion of cartoonish superheroes who seek out others to protect to toon worlds.
"He is returning..." Said the leader, dreadfully. "Despite what happened, he has now returned. Fortunately, I know exactly who can combat them. But their group isn't complete. So far, two of them need certain powers. And I know how they can get them."
The leader placed a peculiar ring inside a cereal box, and sent down a strange train ticket to Li'l Sneezer. The wind woke Sneezer from his sleep, and he saw the train ticket. For some reason, the ticket drew Sneezer to the train station where there was only one train. Sneezer walked onto the train. On the train was one word printed on the walls:
"Sneezeam".
Lil Sneezer woke up in his bed, feeling that the whole thing with the train was a strange dream.
"I'm allergic to strange dreams." He said. "Ah... ahh... AAHHHH..."
*Breaking news!*
"Breaking news! Damage has been spotted throughout ACME Acres! Nobody knows who did or why, but we will be looking into it!"
The sneeze flew Sneezer all the way to ACME Looniversity where Penelope was standing outside next to another cat with brown fur and black circles around his eyes. They were both equally shocked by all the damage around the area.
"Thanks again, Leonard." Said Penelope.
"No problem, cuz." Replied Leonard.
The Tiny Toons that were going in the trip gathered at the mobile home. They observed the damage around ACME Looniversity.
"Jeez, who could've done this?" Asked Plucky, as his stomach growled. "Ugh, why did I skip breakfast?"
"There's food in the mobile home." Said Penelope.
Plucky eagerly dived into the mobile home. He came out with a cereal box.
"Wow! Wacky-Os!" He yelled, excitedly. "The cereal with more sugar than fibre! It even comes with a prize inside!"
Plucky poured himself a bowl, and dig around for the prize. There was no prize.
"Dang it!" He yelled. "I'll pour myself another bowl!"
"Hold it, Plucky!" Buster yelled. "Each of us get one poured bowl! That's the first law of sharing cereal!"
Furrball meowed something.
"What is it, Furrball?" Babs asked. "Whatever it is, you can tell us."
Furrball finally spoke.
"May I please have a bowl?" He asked.
"Sure." Buster replied.
He tried to grab the box, but Plucky held onto it for dear life. It was like his wings were fused to the box. Shirley used her psychic abilities to pry the box from Plucky. As Furrball was pouring himself a bowl, something else dropped into the cereal. Furrball dug into his bowl and pulled out a strange green ring with a strange symbol on it. The symbol looked like a zero with lines on two separate sides.
"Hey, why does he get the prize?!" Plucky demanded.
"Like, the ring fell into his bowl or some junk!" Shirley explained. "He gets the ring."
"Try eet on, Furrball." Said Fifi.
Furrball placed the ring on the middle finger of his right paw. It was a perfect fit. Suddenly, the ring started to glow.
"Wow." Said Hamton. "It must be some sort of magic ring."
In the drivers compartment was an already-made map, along with a GPS for extra guidance.
"I went an extra mile to make your trip more interesting." Explained Penelope. "But before you can begin, you've got one more day of ACME Loo. Get ready for class."
"I had a strange sort-of dream last night." Said Sneezer. "I found this train ticket and was drawn to the train station where I found this strange word on a train that said something along the lines of 'Sneezeam'."
Suddenly, lightning struck and Sneezer found himself wearing a mostly red attire with a white hood, and in the chest area was a mouse nose with lightning bolts coming out of both nostrils. The other Tiny Toons were surprised at this.
"Whoa, Sneezer!" Exclaimed Buster. "You look awesome! You could be a superhero with an outfit like that."
"And Sneezeam sounds like an awesome name." Added Babs.
Suddenly, the ring on Furrball's finger began to glow more and more until Furrball was levitated into the air. He then found himself on his own attire that was green with bits of black. In the chest area was the same symbol that was on the ring, and he was wearing a mask that covered his eyes and made them look plain white. And in his other hand, he held some sort of green lantern.
"Wow, Furrball!" Exclaimed Hamton. "You've got a cool superhero costume too!"
"Like, I have the perfect name for him!" Said Shirley. "How about Lean Lantern?"
Furrball smiled and happily meowed at Shirley's name suggestion.
"Lean Lantern it is then." Said Buster. "Now let's head to class.
Upon seeing Furrball and Sneezer in their new superhero attires, Bugs Bunny assigned them, along with the specific other Tiny Toons, to a Just-Us League class where they could be inducted into the team. Later on, each of them were in their Just-Us Attires.
"Okay, so Lean Lantern and Sneezeam." Said SuperBun. "So, do either of you have any superpowers?"
Lean Lantern looked at his ring and wondered its capabilities. Suddenly, the ring began to glow again and made a construct of an elephant.
"I'm allergic to elephants." Said Sneezeam. "Ah-ah-ahhhh- CHOOOO!"
When Sneezeam sneezed, a large burst of lightning came from his nose and zapped BatDuck into dust.
"Interesting." Said SuperBun. "So one of you can make constructs and the other can sneeze lightning. You're both in!"
"Wow!" Said Sneezeam. "We got in, Furrb- I mean Lean Lantern."
"I'm starting to feel that I'm finally getting respect." Furrball thought to himself. "Maybe the trip will bring me closer to them."
"Like, of course it will." Came the telepathic voice of HawkLoon.
Lean Lantern was surprised at first, but remembered who it was.
"Come talk to me after school before we go on the trip." Said HawkLoon, telepathically.
After school that day, when the Tiny Toons went home to pack their bags, Shirley took herself and Furrball behind ACME Loo so they could talk.
"Like, Furrball, what did you mean back there?" Shirley asked. "More respect? Do you feel that we don't respect you much?"
Furrball looked visibly uncomfortable. He didn't expect Shirley to ask him something like that.
"You can tell me or some junk." Shirley added.
"It's just..." Furrball replied. "Why is it me that's unlucky? Some of the bad stuff happens to me even if I haven't done anything wrong. It's made me develop shyness as I worry that someone would mistreat me for no good reason."
Shirley, upon hearing Furrball's words, gently held his paws with her wings.
"Furrball, listen." She said, gently. "We're your friends. We're sorry you feel that way. Come on this trip and I'll see to it that you get treated better than you did before. You're our friend regardless of what species you are or some junk. Whenever you feel unwelcome or if there's something troubling you, come tell me about it and I'll see if I can fix it for you, kay?"
A big smile appeared on Furrball's face from Shirley's words before he bang hugging her, which caused Shirley to smile and gently pat his head.
"Like, okay, hug time later." She said. "I don't want Pl-ucky or Fowlmouth to see you hugging me or some junk. Besides, we gotta pack our own bags. See you at the mobile home later, kay?"
What Shirley didn't realize is that Plucky did see Furrball hugging her, and a large amount of envy consumed the inside of him. He was already envious about Hamton's relationship with Fifi, and now he's watching his (supposed) girl being hugged by another guy. But he didn't say anything in case she saw or heard him.
Later that day, the Tiny Toons, with their bags packed, prepared to depart for the reboot version of ACME Acres.
"Well Toonsters, this trip is going to be a long one." Said Buster. "Does everyone have everything?"
The other Tiny Toons nodded.
"Anyone need to use the bathroom?" Babs asked.
The other Tiny Toons shook their heads.
"You sure?" Asked Babs.
They shook their heads again.
"Okay, let's begin our trip!" Buster announced.
They got onto the mobile home. As Buster was about to sit in the driver's seat, Plucky scampered up to it.
"Hold it right there!" He yelled. "I wanna drive!"
"I've already got the seat." Said Buster.
"I challenge you for it!" Said Plucky. "Rock, Paper, Scissors!"
Later on, Plucky found himself sitting at the table, sulking.
"I knew I should've thrown scissors." He sulked.
"Plucky, everyone knows you always pick rock." Explained Hamton.
"I thought that rock smashes everything!" Yelled Plucky.
"Okay everyone, the road trip begins now!" Announced Babs.
The mobile home drove off, on the way to the reboot world of ACME Acres. As the mobile home left ACME Acres, the first one to speak was Plucky who said:
"I have to go to the bathroom!"
On the next chapter, the Tiny Toons discover the shadow creatures come out at night and combat them as the Just-Us League, and Furrball tries to get the hang of his new powers. See ya next time, Toonsters!
