Hi everyone, it's Shushu here, I hope you're all doing well, and are having a good day or just woke up and have a good morning. I have seen a lot of Amphibia OCs, and stories on other websites and here, so I thought, why not give it a try? (Btw if you haven't watched Amphibia yet, please go watch before you read this!!!) So here I am, with my first story on here for you all!! This is basically my third try on trying to make a fanfic or story what ever you call it, but that doesn't really matter... lol. So please, do enjoy, and I hope you guys like my work! Now, to not keep you all waiting, I now present to you. Amphibia: Magic Beyond Worlds.
One day, the sun rose from the sky. Early dawn, the birds were chirping, the streets were full.. Sarah was on her laptop finishing a video. As she didn't pay attention, her alarm went off as she jumped but snoozed it right after, she groaned and was disappointed in herself,
Sarah: "Great, woke up early and stayed up.. at least, 'AstraeaX' got to make a video for Anne!" She voiced dramatically. She squealed quietly after. Shortly closing her laptop and got out of bed. Yawning and stretching. She opened her door and went to the dining room. To where she sat down by her little sister, Luna. Luna and her started to eat their breakfast.
Luna: "Hey Sarah, are you okay? You look happy but scared at the same time."
Sarah: "Oh? I'm okay, don't worry."
Luna: "Hmm? Would there be any other reason why?"
Sarah: "Well.. maybe it could just be that it's Anne's birthday today?"
Luna: "Ohhh!!! Right! Can you tell her I said happy birthday, pleaseeee??"
Sarah: "Okay- okay! I will!" she laughed. She hugged her sister and quickly finished her breakfast. She got up and went to her room to get dressed in her school uniform. She opened her closet and got ready. After, she got her school bag, and packed her gift for Anne, it was gonna be a surprise.
As she left her bedroom she went walking to her older sisters bedroom, she knocked on the door as she was let in,
Sarah: "Good morning, Victoria!" She yelled.
Victoria: "Good morning to you as well. You ready for school?"
Sarah: "Yep! Geez though- I'm so nervous!!" Sarah laughed. Victoria laughed with her,
Victoria: "Oh, hey, listen I know your going to be nervous today just like the other days but you better not do anything bad just for the sake of it, alright? Just call me if something does happen." she said. Sarah nodded and agreed with her.
Sarah: "Heyy, don't worry sis, I know you'll be there for me..." She said. As they continued to talk about some stuff and school. They heard their dad call for all of them,
Mr. Morel: "You kids all ready for school today?" Their dad yelled. Sarah and Victoria dashed out of the room and smiled standing still.
Sarah: "Yep! I got my clothes, water bottle and food all ready!" She replied.
Victoria: "And I have all of my finished work ready to be handed in today!!" She also replied.
Mr. Morel: "That's good." He said to the two. As they were finishing getting ready, her dad started his truck, sat inside and yelled to Sarah and her siblings, "Hey, we better get moving now." Sarah and her siblings all gave kisses to their mom on the forehead.
Sarah and her siblings: "See you mom, Love you!" They all said as they closed the door. Sarahs dad finished dropping off all of her siblings and Victoria. She hugged her dad and gave him a kiss on the forehead, then got out of the truck and looked back at her dad waving,
Sarah: "See you later dad! Love you!" She waved,
Mr. Morel: "See you later my girl, you call me if anything happens." He looked at her,
Sarah: "I will!" she gave him a big smile. She ran to the benches in front of the school, and sat on them. While waiting for her friends to show up, Anne showed up on her bike, she got off and put her lock on the bike rack. She saw Sarah and walked up to her.
Anne: "Hey Sarah!" she said. Sarah smiled,
Sarah: "Hey Anne! Happy.." She jumped onto her and hugged her, "Birthday girl!"
Anne: "Thanks!" She hugged her back. The two laughed until another girl came up behind them.
??: "Hey 'Boobchuy'," The girl called out. "Whatcha eating there? You gonna share that puke bun with, 'Moron'?" She laughed as she pointed at both the bun and Sarah.
Sarah was not interested with Maggies insults. However she didn't like it when others tried to mess with her friends.
Sarah: "Hah, hah. Very original Maggie." She said in annoyance. "Also, what she is holding is not a puke bun, it's a.. a.." Sarah struggled with her words, she didn't know what the snack Anne was holding was..
Anne: "..It's a khao niew bing," Anne finished. She looked at Maggie and Sarah, "A traditional Thai snack made up of rice and coconut milk." She shows the two her snack.
Anne: "My mom made this for me because, it's my birthday."
Sarah: "Awh!! That is so sweet of her to do!" she smiled at Anne.
Maggie: "Oh, well happy birthday." She stood uninterested. Then out of nowhere she jumped at Anne and tried to steal her Thai snack.
Maggie: "Gimmie that!" She shouted, Anne got surprised but then fought back,
Anne: "Hey! Get your own Thai Mom!"
Sarah got mad and jumped in between them. Trying her best to pull them apart and to not ruin Anne's big day.
Sarah: "Stop it Maggie! Leave her alone!" She cried.
As she struggled to pull their arms apart, Maggie pushed Sarah to the ground hard. As she scraped her arm and leg, she looked up at Anne and Maggie. She almost started to cry since she's not that good at standing up to bullies,
??: "Hey Maggot!" Said another. The three kids turn and see a tall black curly haired boy.
Sarah: "Ethan..!" Sarah said while smiling, Ethan was always there to help Sarah and Anne out. He's been their friend since childhood, and Sarahs cousin.
Ethan: "Leave them alone." He said pointing at Maggie. Maggie stood in embarrassment, knowing how tall Ethan was and strong he is.
Maggie: "Oh yeah! Or else what!?" She pointed at Ethan while still holding Anne,
Ethan: "Or else, I can tell Sasha about what you just did to me and her friends. So then you can forget about coming to her house party next week." Said Ethan. Maggie knew that she wanted to go to the house party.
Maggie: "Aw geez, you know I was just playing around with them." She shoves Anne's Thai snack back at her chest. "Here." She said as she left.
Anne and Ethan quickly helped Sarah get back on her feet.
Anne: "Are you okay, dude?!"
Sarah: "Yeah, yeah... I'm fine don't worry. Thanks Ethan." She gave him a hug. He smiled and hugged her,
Ethan: "No problem, sorry I wasn't here earlier to help you guys out.."
Anne: "It's alright man." Said Anne. Ethan stopped hugging Sarah, he looked at Anne and smiled in excitement,
Ethan: "Also, hey Anne! Happy birthday." He said while hugging her. Anne smiled,
Anne: "Thanks man!"
Ethan as he was hugging her spun her in the air as she laughed.
Anne: "Put me down!!" She said laughing, Ethan put her back down. They all laughed later on about other things, Ethan stopped and saw someone walking up to them, his smile faded away a bit,
Ethan: "Oh great.." Ethan mumbled under his breath, he never liked his old 'friend', Sasha for a reason. They lost their friendship over time to due opinions and choices.
Sasha was then there, standing with the three of them.
Sasha: "Hey guys!" She looked at the three,
Anne Sarah: "Hey Sasha!" Said Sarah and Anne. Ethan gave her a look but still smiled for the sake of Anne. Sasha looked at Anne and smiled,
Sasha: "Ahem. Listen here you two. Today's a big day for our Anna Banana!" Sasha turns to Anne and smiles. "Happy Birthday girl!" Sasha announced. The four squealed of excitement and started to do dance moves in celebration, until the school bell interrupted them,
Sasha: "Ugh, Buzzkill." Sasha groaned.
Later that day, Anne and Sasha were in science class together, as Ethan and Sarah were in shop. They were all ready to work,
Mrs. Virk: "Alright class," said the science teacher. "Today's your lucky day. Cause it's frog dissection day!"
The whole classroom and Sasha and Anne groaned with fear and disgust at the gross sight.
??: "Aw!"
?: "Gross!"
Anne look down at her frogs, flipping the face up. Staring down in their dead eyes, Anne shivered in disgust and fear,
Anne: "Ugh! Frogs are the worst!" She said while hitting her hands against the table. Sasha rolled her chair up to her.
Sasha: "Right, let's get out of here." said Sasha. She then started to dramatically fake cry to the teacher, "Mrs. Virk, the sight of blood...ugh. I'm gonna be sick!" said Sasha. Mrs Virk looked with worry.
Mrs. Virk: "Oh dear. Anne, why don't you take Sasha to the sick room before she desecrates these beautiful frog bodies with her vomit. Thank you." She squeezes the frog like a stress ball, then walks back to her desk. After that, Sasha and Anne got up leaving the room.
Meanwhile, Ethan and Sarah were in their class doing, Crafts.
Sarah: "And... finished!! Mr. Bee, I finished my squirrel table!"
Mr. Bee: "Good job, Sarah. Oh and Ethan, do you have yours done as well? Figuring since you two always work together."
Ethan: "Oh!- uhm- yes! As a matter of fact I do!" He quickly hid his craft behind him while laughing nervously at the teacher, the teacher sighed and walked away,
Ethan: "Phew! Close one,"
Sarah: "Glad you didn't get caught man."
Ethan: "Well I would have in Maggies dream."
They both started lauging at the joke. The bell then rang and the teacher called for all the students out. Ethan and Sarah grabbed their bags and cleaned themselves off quickly and went out the door.
Later on, Sarah and Ethan were talking and walking in the hallway. As they talked they noticed Anne and Sasha walking in the direction that leads to the sick room. They were both confused but shrugged it off. Sarah suggested that they should go to the public library. Ethan agreed since he wanted to leave the school and draw or read for a bit. Along the way, Sarah encountered her fourth best friend. 'Marcy Wu'
Sarah: "Hey Marcy!"
Ethan: "Hey, Mar-Mar." The two shouted to her. Ethan and Marcy gave a fist bump. Then Sarah and Marcy walked up to eachother and shared a hug. Sarah and Marcy are known to share the same interests, movies, games, fictional characters and ideas. They are known for pretty much being nerd's together. Almost like Sarah and Ethan but, they are way more calmer.
Marcy: "Hey Ethan, Hey Sarah. What's happening with your guy's day. Aren't you supposed to be with Anne and Sasha? Oh, and where is Anne, I forgot to wish her a happy birthday.." She said.
Sarah: "Well dearest friend, my day is going good, me and Ethan made a little squirrel picnic table. Oh, and Anne? Last time I saw her, it looked like she went to take Sasha to the sick room.." She said confused, "But I don't know if they really went. Maybe after school we should catch up with them if they are gone?" She requested.
Ethan: "Or we could just message them?" He asked.
Sarah and Marcy nodded. After that Marcy took Sarah's hand and guided her and Ethan to the library.
There was Victoria. In her class doing work. The bell rang and it was break time, everyone was able to go get food for their lunch later, or play in the gym, or just study and walk. Victoria went outside, she walked to a nearby place and got food for herself.
Victoria: "Good, all set." she smiled and placed the food inside her bag. Victoria walked along the sidewalk, she was listening to music until she heard two familiar voices. She quickly stopped her music and looked around, there she saw. Anne and Sasha walking around laughing.
Victoria was confused. She started to panic and started to follow them.
Victoria: "This is weird... Sarah, Marcy and Ethans school doesn't have breaks like mine. What are they.. Oh no. I gotta call Sarah." She tried to call Sarah but her phone didn't have WiFi.
Victoria: "Dang it!- Okay, just follow them until they stop.." Victoria said to herself to calm down. She continued to follow Sasha and Anne carefully, trying to learn what they're doing.
As they sat down at at table and started to do their own things. Ethan was drawing. Sarah was also drawing. She heard the sound of pages being flipped. Sarah looked at Marcy and saw that she was studying,
Sarah: "Hey, studying right now? Shouldn't we wait for this later?"
Marcy: "Nope, but you can. And you know me. I will prepare and study for anything that comes next in my life." She said.
Sarah: "Alongg, with preparing for our next Creatures and Caverns session?" Said Stella. Marcy smiled with joy. She put her head on Sarah's shoulder,
Sarah: "I wonder what we are going to encounter this weekend.. What do you think?" She asked.
Marcy: "It'll be a surprise, enchanting witch. Just wait alright?" replied Marcy. As they continued to talk. Sarah phone started to vibrate, she check it and it was a message from Sasha,
Sasha: 'Meet us downtown, and bring our friends.'
Sarah: 'Alright, I got it Sash, don't worry :)'
Sarah got up. Ethan stopped drawing, and Marcy stopped studying, they looked at Sarah. She explained to the two that Sasha wants to meet downtown. Marcy and Ethan got up and followed Sarah to the doors.
Marcy felt her phone vibrate, she grabbed it and looked to Sarah and Ethan. Marcy said to wait for her, as she has to check something.
Sarah: "Okay, Mar-Mar. We'll wait for you don't worry." She said to her. Marcy went back inside. As Ethan and Sarah looked away and where walking back to their bikes. The two started to talk about Annes birthday later, until Marcy ran outside in a rush. She started to explain to Sarah and Ethan,
Marcy: "You guys go ahead. I'll be there, just right now my dad needs me for somethin, I don't know what it is.." She said.
Ethan: "Alright, see you!" Ethan waves with a smile. The two wave goodbye to Marcy and leave the library. Marcy is left as she walks down to her house to see her dad and mom.
As they were walking. Sarah got a call from her sister, Victoria. She was worried with fear, she opened it and heard her sister mad,
Victoria: "Sarah, where are you. I just saw Sasha and Anne on my break, walking around town. Are you with them!?"
Sarah: "I.. Uh.. I'm going to be. So what?"
Victoria: "You can't keep getting in trouble with those friends of yours. I know I'm friends with them too, but Marcy is the only one who seems like an actual friend..."
Sarah: "I.. I know okay. Geez, we'll talk later. Bye."
Victoria: "WAIT-!" Sarah hanged up. Ethan looked at Sarah in concern as she looked angry.
Sarah: "It's not fair!" She shouted, "Ugh! Why does she always have to look out for me. She makes it so hard- She doesn't have to baby me- I can take care of myself.." She said. Sarah felt her phone vibrating. As she picked it up, it was another message from Sasha,
Sasha: 'Where are you guys?! Can't find you anywhere!'
Sarah: 'Sorry, me and Ethan are coming, just took the wrong turn. Marcy's busy at the moment but she's coming!
After that, she put her phone back in her pocket. She then grabbed Ethan's hand as they started to run fast.
Ethan: "Hey! What about our bikes?" He asked.
Sarah: "We dont need it for this! I don't want Victoria knowing where we are!" She replied.
Ethan: "Okay then.."
Victoria was on the streets running, looking for Sarah. She stopped at the road beside an old lady an looked at her,
Victoria: "Hey, have you seen my sister, young, purple collar, purple skirt, white shirt with the Saint James Middle School name on it and brown eyes..? Almost like mine..." She asked.
??: "Sorry dear, I haven't seen anyone that looked like that." She replied.
Victoria: "Oh.. okay, thanks though."
Victoria walked away turning around. She was down town now and started to think, as she did, she saw Anne, Sasha and Marcy walking to the thrift store.
Victoria: "What?-" Victoria hid behind a wall quickly and watched, "Where's Sarah and Ethan..."
Sasha: "Okay Anne, go in and get your birthday gift."
Anne: "Uhm, okay?" Anne looked at Sasha.
Anne entered the shop, leaving Marcy and Sasha outside. Victoria watched in curiosity, she wondered where Sarah and Ethan were at, if she pointed out that she was with them.
Ethan and Sarah finally made their way through and found Marcy and Sasha waiting outside the shop.
Ethan: "Woah, Marcy do you have powers or are you just fast." He giggled a bit.
Sarah: "What are you guys doing?" She questioned. Sasha smiled and said,
Sasha: "Just waiting for Anne to get her birthday present." said Sasha. They got confused and quickly looked into the window wondering what Anne could be possibly doing. Anne grabbed a music box that is covered in gold lining around it and the edges. It also has a frog icon on the top. On the lid are six gems consisting of blue, pink, green, purple, orange and red colors. Sarah and Ethan looked amazed and interested.
Ethan: "That music box looks old.." He said. Sarah agreed with him.
Sarah: "Does she even have money for it? If ahe doesn't I have some." Sarah giggled.
Sasha: "If you want. But I think she has it under control." Said Sasha.
Ethan and Sarah were confused. The looked back into the window. They gasped as they saw that Anne didn't even pay, she walked out of the store with it in her bag.
Ethan: "What-! You stole it!?" He pointed at her. Sarah looked concerned. As Ethan was talking to Anne, Marcy then spoke to the four of them,
Marcy: "It's the only way, guys." She said. Sarah looked behind her and she started to become sad a bit.
Sarah: "Marcy, how-"
Sasha: "This is Anne's birthday," said Sasha, "She deserves to be happy."
Sarah:
Sasha: "Sarah, this isn't funny anymore for me. I had to deal with Annes whining and I'm not dealing with yours too. Like it or not this is happening, and you are going to keep your mouth shut." Sasha demanded.
Sarah: "I.. Alright.." She said. Ethan looked at Sasha and Sasha looked back at him,
Sasha: "Same goes for you, Ethan." said Sasha.
Sarah noticed the anger in Ethan start to rise, she pulled him and told him to calm down. After that, they all started to walk to the park to go open up Anne's birthday present.
While they did, they all suddenly heard a voice calling from the distance. It was a girl, older than all of them. Of course, it was Victoria, Sarah's sister.
Victoria: "Sarah!" The five looked to see Victoria.
Sarah: "Victoria!" Sarah said.
Ethan: "Hey Victoria."
Anne: "Hey!"
Marcy: "Hi Victoria." They said. Victoria looked at them. Sasha however, didn't say anything.
Victoria grabbed Sarah's arm and turned her around,
Victoria: "Your still in your school uniform.. Why Sarah.."
Sarah: "I'm sorry, but it was becau—"
Victoria: "Forget about that, we'll talk about it later.. But right now, what's happening to why you skipped?!" Sarah grabbed Victoria's hand and took her to the box.
Sarah: "This, it's Anne's birthday. I know it'sa stupid reason to skip but, hey, friends?" Victoria looked at Anne and slightly smiled,
Victoria: "Oh right, well happy birthday Anne. I'm sorry I didn't mean to get mad. But, sister duties y'know?" Anne smiled,
Anne: "It's okay." She gave a thumbs up.
As they all sat there. Ethan felt down about Sarah's guilt. So he walked up to Victoria and tapped her shoulder,
Ethan: ".. Victoria-"
Marcy: "Wow, Victoria you must like this stuff right!" Marcy got between them, "Look at the box doesn't it look cool? It even has gems on it like jewelry!"
Victoria: "I.. guess it does? Nice gift." Victoria said.
Sasha: "Come on, I'm dying for this. Open the box Anne." Sasha cried. Anne nodded. Anne opened the box, they all expected nothing to happen. But as the six looked down to see glowing lights, the lights got brighter until there was nothing, but white...
Phew, the prologue is finally done! Thank you guys for reading this, and, if you made it this far, also thank you again. It really means alot to me and I'm glad I finally got to release this!!
It's been bugging me and I'm glad that my own take on this whole Amphibia thing is upgrading!!
