The Smurfocalypse Chapter 83: Big bad Smurfs from Outer Space
It was later in the week when Handy had finally finished reconstructing Clockwork. The mechanical Smurf was back to doing the hard labor he was originally designed to do. When Handy had finished fixing him up as a side project he focused all his time into the reinvention of the Smurfless wagon in between his other duties. Better, faster, and more efficient was his plan for the newest model of Smurfless wagons. Since they had a huge amount of land to traverse it was agreed upon that it would be easier to get around with his invention.
Jupiter was out of the clinic and was still in Port Saint Smurf as a guest. Hefty hadn't popped the question to offer him a permanent place in the village yet as he felt Jupiter needed to observe their way of life and get to know multiple community members personally. The society Jupiter was used to living in on Turtle Island was far more advanced than Port Saint Smurf currently was, and there was still things about Jupiter that hadn't been revealed yet, but he was adapting to the way things were. He lived in Equilibrist's old hut, and would be staying with the village at the very least until Doctor removed his stitches.
Jupiter's warning stayed rent free in Hefty's mind since their first talk, and Hefty was concerned for the safety of the port. Hefty remained in contact with Tracker via Smurfberry bird, and Tracker seemed to be making progress which was a good thing. Tracker's discoveries would surely enrich Port Saint Smurf someday, but there was the issue of the new threat. A threat that is on its way right now. Deep in space a spacecraft was heading for Earth pursuing Jupiter. Inside the spacecraft were seven of the deadliest Smurfs in the galaxy. Rogue Smurfs rejected by their villages for their brutality and unsmurfy nature now a band of intergalactic pirates that searched the stars for inhabitable planets to conquer. It seemed the first on their list was planet Earth. The moment would soon come where Hefty would have to rise new a new challenge in order to protect the ones he loves.
Archer was naturally the first to see the ship. During his patrol the unidentified spacecraft came down from the sky and landed in the fields next to Jupiter's destroyed ship. The sound of the craft had alerted Hefty who at the time was discussing their current mining setup with Jupiter and asking the Smurf for advice.
"They're here!" Jupiter said.
"I'll assemble the knights!" Hefty said.
"I'll come too!" Jupiter said.
"No. You are our guest. This isn't your fight." Hefty said.
"I refuse to sit back and do nothing." Jupiter said.
"This isn't a game Jupiter. You could die if you go out there." Hefty said.
"Don't you worry about me Hefty. I've been in a few demon fights myself." Jupiter said.
Hefty nodded, and Jupiter and Hefty ran to the center of the village at the well and assembled the knights quickly. Timber had to come home from work for the occasion, but even still in no time they were armed and ready for the worst. Most of the village had gathered on the walls to observe the spacecraft event. There was no convincing any Smurf to return to work at this moment. Hefty and the knights made it out of the gate just in time to see seven heavily armed and armored Smurfs step out of the spacecraft and into the fields. Their leader was the last to exit. He was six apples tall, and had a muscle mass that would make any man envious much like Hefty. He towered over his forces and grinned a sinister grin as he saw the armored knights and Jupiter step out of the port and into the fields.
"You have thirty seconds to gather your forces and leave! Now!" Hefty said.
This sparked laughter among the Cosmic Smurfs and the leader stepped forward.
"Which one of you is the strongest? So I can immediately…" The leader said before leaping to the nearby barn and cutting it completely in half with his massive bastard sword.
"Dethrone you!" He finished as the human structure fell to ruins.
Hefty was not impressed at all with that demonstration of strength, but the other knight's eyes widened.
"He's using Smurf Essence!" Farmer said.
"No takers? Fine then! I'll pick one of you out myself!" The leader said.
The towering super Smurf stepped forward into the middle of the space between them. Hefty and the knights readied themselves for combat. He glanced from knight to knight, a sinister grin plastered on his face as he sized them up as he walked forward. The closer he walked to Port Saint Smurf spelled potential death to everyone inside. He approaches Clockwork who was just in front of Hefty and holds his sword with both hands and readies his stance. Clockwork does the same, and this engaged him in combat. Clockwork immediately unleashes a flurry of punches and kicks at his large opponent, but none of the attacks even did a thing to him. The large Smurf then throws back his head and laughs in Clockwork's face before sheathing his sword and punching the wooden Smurf so hard in the torso that it immediately destroyed his body. Pieces of Clockwork littered the floor as his body simply blasted apart from the sheer might of the punch. All that was left of him was scattered body parts, and the golden heart that gave him life. In one quick motion the Smurf stomps on Clockwork's heart and shatters it into fragments. Clockwork Smurf was just killed in front of everyone.
"Clockwork!" Handy screams in horror from the walls.
"NOOOOOOO!" Hefty screams as he dashes forward.
"I've seen ENOUGH!" Jupiter screams.
Jupiter holds up his right hand towards the stars which had a watch around his wrist.
"Star of Jupiter! Shine down on me!" Jupiter screamed.
The entire conflict came to a standstill as Jupiter's watch emanated a florescent glow. Just then a mech suit soared down from the sky, landing in the space between Hefty and the leader. Jupiter then rushes to the suit and hops inside. The mech was 6 apples tall allowing Jupiter to stare the leader in the face.
