The Smurfocalypse chapter 85: The Seven Smurf Deathmatch Part 2: Rains of Terror!
Pluto's defeat still wasn't enough to wipe the cocky grin off Titan's face. Jupiter had won, but there was still much more fighting to take place. The knights got together and discussed who would be fighting next. Titan was obviously off limits as Hefty had boldly declared that he would square off against him.
"Which one of us fights next?" Hefty asked.
Without hesitation Timber raises his hand.
"I'll go next Hefty." Timber said.
Hefty nods.
"These opponents are far stronger than the Blackhearted. Watch yourself out there." Hefty said.
Timber nods and walks into the arena readying his hatchets.
"HD! Get out there and crush that weakling!" Titan yells.
The Smurf known simply as HD walks into the arena clad in armor from head to toe, not a single bit of him was unprotected save for his eyes.
"With pleasure Titan." HD says smirking under his helmet.
HD wielded a mighty club in his right hand which had jagged pieces of razor sharp fiberglass sticking out of it in every direction. Then he generated his Smurf essence which was something timber currently couldn't do already putting Timber at a disadvantage.
"Let's see how you like my Fiberglass Dungeon!" HD yells as he lifts his left arm.
HD's hand began to glow with visible Smurf essence as fiberglass began to materialize and surround them both within a large tank of fiberglass which encased them both inside. It was a fiberglass death match from which neither Smurf could escape, nor no Smurf could interfere. Timber looked around the arena and noticed immediately that he was trapped inside with his opponent.
"Are you impressed? This is my Fiberglass Dungeon. No Smurf gets in, and the only way out is to kill me. To put things simply this dungeon will be your tomb." HD said.
Timber simply laughs and shakes his head.
"By forming this arena you have already sealed your fate." Timber claims.
The Knights of the Smurf Table not only specialized in one on one fights, but they were accustomed to fighting in closed quarters. Timber was confident in his abilities, and was not intimidated by his opponent's Smurf essence. That is until his opponent's next maneuver took place.
"Glass Climate!" HD shouted as his entire body was enveloped in Smurf essence.
Just then before Timber's eyes thick clouds surrounded the top of the dungeon blocking out the sun and providing an overcast of clouds inside the arena.
"And with this next move… You die!" HD shouts.
The Smurf then raises his arms in the air.
"Rains of Terror!" HD shouts.
The clouds above began to rain deadly shards of glass sideways towards Timber. The Smurf jumps to avoid the attack soaring high above the glass and into the air as the shards collide with the walls of the fiber glass dungeon shattering on impact. Timber throws his right hatchet towards HD while still suspended in the air. The hatchet whirls through the air with great speed striking HD's chestplate. Timber then yanks the chain attached to his hatchet and the weapon returns to his hand. Timber then lands and demonstrates great speed as he quickly throws and retracts his hatchets several times the weapons witling away at HD's armor durability. He continues this combo until it is stopped by HD who grabs hold of the chain binding one of the hatchets and yanks on it sending Timber flying forward towards him. Timber does not let go of the chain and as he is pulled towards HD he raises his left hatchet and swings it only for it to collide with HD's club. Timber then skillfully throws his left hatchet in such a way that it flies around HD like a boomerang the chain wrapping around the Smurf and holding him still. The hatchet then collides with HD as it spins around him hitting him in the gut and lodging itself into the Smurf's armor. Then HD swings his club and strikes Timber right in the head his helmet absorbing the blow but sustaining heavy damage. Timber falls to ground and yanks his left chain causing the hatchet in HD's armor to tear right through the armor as it was ripped away by Timber. The unraveling of the chain caused the Smurf to spin almost comically. He dropped Timber's other chain in the process and Timber quickly collected his weapons and began swinging them violently at HD.
"Glass shield!" HD shouts as his Smurf essence generates a wall of glass between them which puts Timber's combo to an end.
Timber's hatchets strike the glass and it predictably shatters.
"Rains of Terror!" HD shouts.
Once again the clouds above began to rain deadly shards of glass sideways towards Timber. The shards of glass strike Timber and cut deep into his armor and into his flesh resulting in his screaming out in pain as Glass penetrated his armor and cut his skin causing bleeding. HD then swings his club striking Timber in the gut the shards of glass in the club cutting into his armor and stomach. Things didn't look good for Timber, but the knights had no way of knowing as the entire fight was taking place inside a fiberglass box. All they could do was watch and hope that Timber was the Smurf to exit the fiberglass dungeon. Timber struggled to stand, but was struck in the back by HD who at this point was absolutely dominating him in combat. Timber hits the floor with a clang of his armor and HD lifts his club for the killing blow when something awakened in Timber. His will to survive and protect Port Saint Smurf would awaken his Smurf essence, and HD's killing blow would collide with a thick wall of wood that materialized just above Timber absorbing the blow and giving the Smurf the chance to stand.
"So you're finally going to take your death seriously…" HD says.
Timber returns his hatchets to their holster and draws his battle axe. He swings the axe with all his might at HD.
"Timber Shred!" Timber shouts as he swings his axe.
HD avoids the attack with a smooth dodge, but once Timber's axe collides with the Earth a bunch of thick roots pursue HD, ripping through the Earth and chasing the Smurf down before striking him from below. The blow caused HD to fly into the air, but the Smurf lands on his feet skillfully and dashes at Timber with his club held high. Timber responds by swinging his battle axe at HD's neck, but instead weapons clashed and both Smurfs experienced recoil staggering backward from each other's might.
"Rains of Terror!" HD shouts once again.
Predictably at this point the clouds above once again began to rain glass down on Timber. Timber quickly circles around HD appearing as merely a blur as the glass shards litter the arena. Timber then swings his axe still channeling his Smurf newly awakened Smurf essence and strikes HD in the back creating a gash in his torso which shot blood all over Timber's armor. HD staggers and Timber follows up with another attack which cut deep into the Smurf's left shoulder causing profuse bleeding and causing the Smurf to scream out. HD finally collects himself and whirls around sending his club right into Timber's chest plate. The fiberglass shards cut deep into Timber's chest and he screamed out. Both Smurfs were fairly war torn and were reaching their body's limit.
"Timber Shred!" Timber shouts as he swings his axe with all his might towards HD.
His axe collides with HD's club and from the battle axe came those thick tree roots once again. This time they grew around HD's arm and continued to grow around the Smurf until he could no longer move.
"Rains of Terror!" HD shouts.
Before the glass could even rain towards him Timber had moved out of the way. He disappeared with a blur as he demonstrated great speed. Timber circled around his opponent and kicked the Smurf in the back causing him to fall forward into his own attack. The glass ripped HD to shreds and blood flew everywhere as he screamed.
"This is the end!" Timber shouts.
Timber then swings his axe with all his strength downward towards his fallen opponent and removes the Smurf's head from his shoulders ending the battle. Upon HD's death every entity created by his Smurf essence dissipated freeing Timber from the Fiberglass Dungeon and removing the shards of glass that were lodged in his body.
"Timber! Catch!" Alchemist yelled as he threw a Potion of Addicting Health towards Timber.
Timber caught the potion in his right hand, popped off the cork, and consumed the liquid restoring his health and sealing his painful bloody glass wounds.
"Seems I made it just in time. From the amount of blood scattered around the arena you could have died." Alchemist said.
"Very brave of you to come out here for us Alchemist." Hefty said.
Hefty then turned to Titan who was visibly furious and smirked.
"Whose next!?" Hefty shouts.
