First Magic Game: Epic Ball Throwing
"Hello everyone, welcome to the first day of the Grand Magic Games. I'm your usual emcee of the events, Chapati Lola!" The man named Chapati introduced himself to the crowd.
"And with me as the second speaker for the main events, the former Magic Council member and proud small restaurant owner, Yajima." Chapait announced to the short old man sitting next to him.
"Greetings everyone, it's great to be here." Yajima greeted.
"And our special guest for today, Mikey Jackson!" Chapati announced to the other man wearing a red cap sitting next to Yajima.
"What's up players!" Mikey greeted.
Meanwhile, at one of the stands where the wizard guilds are station as Fairy Tail are listening closely to the announcers.
"Okay everyone, get ready for whatever the event is about to be." Wolverine said.
"Relax, I'm sure we can handle it, babe." She-Hulk said not being worry much like the others.
"Just be sure to focus on keeping Fairy Tail in the game, it's time we show them how strong we are." Wolverine declared as he unsheathes his claws.
"Okay, for those of you who don't know the rules there will be different contest on the start of the day. Each team gets different points depending on how they do: 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd place 8, 3rd place 6, 4th place 4, 5th place 3, 6th place 2, 7th place 1, and the 8th place gets 0. After the contest, two wizards from different guilds will be facing each other in battle as the winner will get 10 points." Chapati explained the rules of the games.
"So, we just need to get more points than the others, shouldn't be too hard." Squirrel Girl said.
"You say that now, but wait until you do the contest they make others do over the years and the strong wizard you might face in the battle round." Max stated.
"Say, Yajima, you were once a member of Fairy Tail, how do you feel that your Guild have made their way into this year's games?" Chaptai asked.
"I'm very happy to see my former guild doing well, not to mention getting a few new members that I believe will help them get through the games greatly." Yajima answered with a proud smile.
"That was used to be part of the guild?" Wolverine asked curiously.
"Yeah, he and our previous master go way back when they were young and still kept in touch." Macao answered.
"Alright, now it's time to announce the first game: Ball Throwing!" Chapati announced.
"Hmm, ball throwing, that doesn't sound too exactly." Squirrel Girl disappointed.
"It's like we told you guys, the contests are random every year." Max shrugged.
"Here how it works; the chosen wizards from each guild will stand in the middle of a circle drawn on the ground and they throw ball the farthest they can throw. You are allow to use you magic to make your throw more powerful or faster either way it fine, but you must do it inside the circle or else you'll be out if one foot goes over the line of the circle.." Chapati explained.
"Mind if I go first?" Squirrel Girl asked.
"Sure, go right ahead." Wolverine nodded.
Soon, all eight wizards from each of their guild came down to the arena.
"Alright, we got the wizards. Representing Sabretooth: Orga Nanagear." Chapati announced.
"Uh, I'll show these weaklings what I can do." Orga smirked.
Orga is a pale-skinned, very massive and heavily muscular man, possessing an extremely well-built torso, and matching arms. His legs, however, are normal in size, and, therefore look quite minuscule when compared to his massive body. He has long, spiky, shoulder-length light green hair. Two long spikes fall on either side of Orga's face, framing it, he keeps his hair held in place via a plain black headband over his forehead; his eyes are shown to have white irises. Orga possesses an elongated, almost rectangular face, with his linear eyebrows being placed diagonally at his eyes' outer sides, pointing upwards; he sports a slight grimace. His massive shoulders and biceps are adorned by large dark tattoos, with each arm bearing a circle flanked by a pair of slender objects, reminiscent of both wings and elongated leaves. Most of Orga's muscular upper body is left exposed: his clothing only consists of a light, striped pair of pants, with a large, fur-rimmed, tiger-patterned cloth secured around his waist by a plain light band. He also wears dark armbands with light edges circling his massive forearms, each bearing a pair of small furry balls on its outer side, near the hand, and dark shoes with light soles, sporting similarly light, simple elongated motifs on their upper part. Encircling his massive neck are three golden-colored, plain ornamental rings.
"Representing Lamia Scale: Sherria Blendy."
"Let's feel the love of the wind today!" Sherria cheered.
Sherria is a petite young girl who bears a resemblance to Sherry. She has blue eyes and is commonly seen with a somewhat innocent and childlike expression on her face. Her amaranth hair is tied up in two short pigtails with orange bows. She wears a pale blue mini skirt, a pink, sleeveless top with a dark blue center and a folded collar with yet another orange ribbon tied around it and a heart emblem on her left breast and an "X" on her right. She wears short white gloves coupled with orange wristbands, on top of a longer pink fabric that reaches her upper arms and is kept in place by armbands that match the ones on her wrists. For hosiery, she has long black stockings and white legwarmers atop black shoes. Her guild mark is located on the right side of her right calf.
"Representing Blue Pegasus: Ren Akatsuki."
"I'll make this as stylish as possible." Ren proclaimed with a handsome smile.
Ren is a slim young man of average height with dark, short spiky hair and the presence of two bangs framing and partially covering his face's sides. He wears a black suit with the jacket left open, bearing Blue Pegasus' symbol on its left shoulder, over a sky-blue shirt under the jacket whose similarly open collar reveals a small metal necklace circling his neck, and polished, white-blue shoes.
"Representing Fairy Tai, Doreen Allene Green, also known as Squirrel Girl."
"Prepare to be blow away by Squirrel Power!" Squirrel Girl smirked.
"Representing Mermaid Heel, Araña Webb."
"Let me show you what Mermaid Heel is capable of." Arana posed a little.
Araña is a slim woman of average height with long, pale green hair, kept in a distinctive haircut: her hair is gathered on the back of her head and tied into a series of massive, dreadlock-like curls jutting outwards. She has pale skin and green eyes with long eyelashes, and her lips appear to be covered in light-colored lipstick. She has a curvaceous body and hanging from her ears are a pair of spherical blue earrings. Araña's shapely figure is hugged by a tight-fitting, full-body mustard suit, leaving only her hands and head exposed, which, befitting her general, spider-like theme, is entirely covered in a pattern representing a spider web. This distinctive outfit has elongated parts composed of fishnet in correspondence to the outer sides of Araña's thighs; she's not shown wearing any footwear, with the suit covering her feet as well.
"Representing Quatro Cerberus, Semmes."
"WILD!" Semmes screamed exciting.
Semmes is a very tall and massive individual, towering in both height and mass over his guild mates. Topping his very wide, mildly rounded torso, standing on a pair of rather stocky legs and possessing muscular arms ending in large hands, is his head, which has only the face visible, this being rounded as well, notably small in comparison to the rest of Semmes' body, and strangely colored: two white semicircles are located at its sides, each going from the eye to the corresponding side, while the central part is light blue in color. Semmes' eyes don't have visible pupils, being completely white. He wears a large upper body is a single black garment, even extending up to his head and acting as an hood of sort, leaving only his face exposed, and growing a pair of prominent protrusions jutting outwards from the sides of the head, each ending in a large, golden sphere. The collar circling the area where Semmes' neck is supposed to be is also golden in color, while a large, light decoration shaped like the letter "X" adorns the central part of such cloth. Semmes wears a light, mildly loose pair of pants reaching down below his knees, possessing prominent hems and coming with a sash circling his waist and bearing a similarly colored waistguard split in two parts, with each part hanging above the outer side of a leg. His feet are covered by dark shoes with light soles, which on the upper part bear a light "X" not unlike that adorning his shirt, though way smaller.
"Representing the Mutant Brotherhood, a man calling himself the Blob."
Blob is a large man standing about 6.6 feet tall with a blonde mohawk and brown eyes. He wears a white tank-top with his belly showing, dark-green sleeveless jacket, blue pants, and black shoes.
"Whoa, what have they been feeding that guy?" Laki asked.
"And finally, Representing Twilight Ogre, Thibault."
"Oh yeah, I'm gonna show everyone there that Twilight Ogre are the coolest!" Thibault excited.
"Okay, Mikey Jackson, I hope you're excited that this game will be like your baseball career." Chapati said to the red cap guy.
"You bet I'm excited for this, if these guys have strong throws then maybe they could good baseball players." Mikey Jackson commented.
"Then let get this game started!" Chapati announced as the crowd cheers.
First one to throw is Orga as he makes his way into the big circle, he glances at the ball and clenching it into his hand as he charges up black-green lightning.
"Oh, so uses lightning magic like Wolverine." Squirrel Girl noticed.
With a mighty scream, Orga threw the lightning coated ball into the high as it went into a far distance and landed on the ground a few seconds later, then a hologram screen appears showing how far Orga threw the ball is which is about 681 meters.
"Wow, now that's the furthest throw I've ever seen! He got good form too." Mikey cheered.
"And it's a good thing the balls are magic protection so they don't get destroyed by accident, let see if the other can beat the score." Yajima said.
Sherria skip joyfully to the circle with her own ball in her hand.'
"Do your best, Sherria!" Sherry cheered.
"Okay, let see if a little wind will get their ball 'rolling'." Sherria punned before black wind appears in her hands and around the ball.
"Uh, what's that girl doing?" Max asked.
"I think it's… wind magic?" Bisca gussed.
"Here goes!" Sherria shouted as she threw the ball with her black wind making it go further. The ball landed and the score is 479 meters.
"Hmm, not as impressive as Orga but still good effort." Chapati commented.
"The girl definitely showed some love into that love." Mikey said.
"Not to mention the black wind she used; I believe that might be a special type of wind magic." Yajima pointed out.
Ren is up next getting into the circle and holding the ball in his hands.
"Good luck, Ren!" Sherry cheered making Ren grunt a bit and blushing as well.
"Damn, that woman, yet I can't help but feel I have give this all I got!" Ren shouted before using his own wind magic to throw the ball and he got 437 meters.
"Oh, that's close to Sherria's score." Chapati said.
"The guy looked like he was putting some big feelings in that throw." Mikey pointed out.
"Okay, my turn!" Squirrel Girl excited as she grabs a ball and jump into the circle, she places the ball on her tail and reel it back.
"Hmm, that's interesting." Yajima commented on what Squirrel Girl is doing.
"Furry Tail Throw" Squirrel Girl threw her tail upward like a catapult, only stronger and faster. When the ball landed, the score board shows that she got 864 meters.
"No way, that's over a hundred than mine!" Orga gasped.
"Whoa, now that's what's I call a 'Tail' to tell!" Mikey said as his mind is blown.
"Indeed, she must've done some physically training with her tail to get a throw like that." Chapati nodded.
"Oh yeah, I'm the powerful Squirrel in the world!" Squirrel Girl bragged.
"That girl sure has power; I wonder if she would've join Mermaid Heel instead." Arana said to herself before going to the circle with a ball in her hand.
Arana pull back one hand showing that she stick the ball with her spider-web magic and starts swinging it around and around as fast as she could, then she flinch the ball away taking the web-string off as the ball went flying far and landed getting a score of 247 meters.
"Oh, Arana threw the ball far though like not the others." Chapati commented.
"Seeing her webs reminds me how I'm still scared of spiders." Mikey shivered.
Semmes went next and started spinning around superfast like he's trying to become a human tornado with little wind blowing around him, during the spin he lets go of the ball as it goes high into the air while shouting "WILD" and the score is 501 meters.
"Oh my, Semmes got a score higher than Sherria's. That 'Spin' things around for Quatro Cerberus." Chapati impressed.
"You got that right." Mikey agreed, giving out a thumb up.
"Okay, time for the Blob to have a turn.' Blob walked toward the circle as he takes a ball from the basket.
Blob smirks and reel back him back a little with his arm stretch outward and threw the ball with most of his strength, the ball landed and shows that Blob got himself a score of 526 meters.
"Now Blob got the higher than Semmes, I guess it shows he's not all fat." Mikey commented.
"True, there are muscles in that fat too." Yajima nodded.
"See if you can beat that?" Blob asked sarcastically to Thibault, bumping into his shoulder on purpose.
"I'll show you…" Thibault angered before going to the circle.
Thibault brought out his spiked iron club, he threw the ball in the air above him and ready his club for a great swinging and once the ball is right in front of his face, he swing his club with all his might hitting the ball and not letting the spikes touch it as the hit sent the ball flying high. Thibault smirks thinking he must've gotten a higher score, but the hologram screen shows he only got 139 meters.
"Oh, looks like Thibault is gonna need more practice to get a strong throw." Mikey commented.
"No!" Thibault cried.
"Okay, now it's time to look at the score board for the throw." Chapati said as the hologram screens appearing showing who's in what place.
1st place: Fairy Tail. 864.
2nd place: Sabretooth. 681
3rd place: Mutant Brotherhood. 526
4th place: Quatro Cerberus. 501
5th place: Lamia Scale. 479
6th place: Blue Pegasus. 437
7th place: Mermaid Heel. 247
8th place: Twilight Ogre. 139
"Wow, Fairy Tail have managed to get themselves first place in the first game!" Chapati smiled exciting.
"Yeah, makes you wonder how they'll do in the battle round." Mikey nodded.
"Alright, now we can finally get to the fun part." Wolverine smirked, wondering who they'll be fighting against.

Hope you all enjoy the first game as the wizard had to showed who has the strongest throw and it looks like Squirrel Girl managed to score Fairy Tail a win by a tail, I bet Sabretooth doesn't like getting show up like that. I got the idea for this chapter from the My Hero Academia episode where Class 1-A had to throw balls as one of the test and I thought it would be fun to do something like that.
Now it's on to the battle round and who will be fighting whom? You'll have to wait and see.
