PRIVILEGES, PART 2.
22nd December. Time, 07:00 Themyscira.
Diana miraculously and to her surprise managed to sleep, even for a few hours. When she got up, she wanted to be in Zone C, but was depressed when she saw that she was back in Themyscira, her country of origin and that it was most likely that her mother ordered her to stay and her companions to leave, that is she did not want them to start a massacre. She also reviewed the conversation she had had with the commander, it had been something strange, she now knew that the commander was hiding something and did not want to say it, that and he always knew that she also had secrets, but then she remembered that she had to go with her mother to avoid a terrible confrontation between her sisters and her fellow Rangers.
Diana left her room and saw that her companions were still asleep, except for the commander, who to her surprise was not in sight. She slipped away as quietly as possible and went to her mother's room. She knew the island like the back of her hand and wanted to resolve this conflict on her own, without endangering her companions or sisters. As she entered, she saw that her mother had gotten up. The queen knew how to defend herself.
"Diana, I did not expect to see you here so early," Hippolyta said, at least when they were alone, she did not demand formalities related to her role as queen.
"I have to talk to you, mother. This is urgent" Diana said.
"If you come to tell me that all the men who enslaved you are good people, then you are one of the women subjected to men," Hippolyta said. She didn't want to hear anything to do with the men who were sleeping outside Diana's room.
"I am not a slave, mother," Diana said facing Hippolyta. "I was never a slave, and they are good people. The bad thing is that you don't see it" Diana paused, waiting for her mother to speak.
"The men have attacked Themyscira and kidnapped Barbara and you say they are good people. The reason they stay is because of the annoying and fierce commander who has defied me since we arrived. That commander only wants to sponsor his Justice League, and if it weren't for him, I'm sure the others wouldn't have stayed", she said, trying to make her daughter see her companions as she saw them.
"I admit that they are not perfect, but they are good people. They have taken a risk to save the people of Zone C" Diana said. She wanted to continue, but her mother interrupted her.
"They left you to the fate of the gods when that missile buried you," Hippolyta said angrily. That was why she wanted Diana to stay here. A safer place.
"They didn't let me. Kal and John stopped a missile each, while Barry and Shayera fought against a criminal" Diana said defending her companions. "By the way, how did you know about that?"
"Do you think I asked you to come back without knowing where you were?" Hippolyta asked feeling that her daughter no longer knew her. They had grown apart since Barbara was kidnapped and Diana wanted to go after her and find her, but she objected. "Since you eloped, I tried hard to find you, but since you changed your name, I knew I had to send several of your sisters to look for you. At first, I thought you were kidnapped by men, but we found nothing. Everything changed when one of your sisters who you have forgotten to hang out with men, found the news of you and the Power Rangers saving Zone C. She brought me that information and I knew it was you. Now that you have returned, you will stay here and you will not leave again. You are no longer going to risk your life for men we don't care about, and frankly, they don't care about you." This did hurt Diana since she wanted to help people who were not on the island, but her mother did not support her in this, and she was willing to keep her prisoner as long as she didn't leave. However, Diana wasn't going to accept this, so she decided to speak up, and she wasn't going to stop until she made her mother doubt.
"Mother, when those men kidnapped Barbara, I knew I had to go for her. At first, I thought like you and my sisters that the World of Man was terrible because of her, and yes, there are several bad men. But I swear by Hera that the World of Man is full of kind, compassionate, and goodwill men, and my peers are a part of that. That's why when I ran away and couldn't find Barbara I joined the league, to help those who didn't get help, and to fight for those who can't. And I don't care that you want me to stay here, I'll leave again, with or without your approval, because fighting for those people and spending time with the other Power Rangers is something worthwhile, much more than spending your entire life in an island being terrified of the world and of knowing new things" Diana said firmly. She really wanted to go back to Zone C, but if her mother set a trap for her and her Rangers, she knew that she had to surrender for the good of all. But she would wait until just the right moment to act.
"I cannot believe that I have raised a woman susceptible to manipulation. You've become so weak since Barbara was kidnapped. They brainwashed you, but I will correct that when we resolve the conflict with Ares", said Hippolyta, showing that she did not give up on her daughter's altruistic reasons.
"I was not brainwashed. I am not weak. I just plucked up the courage to do what you never did, and I will continue to do it" Diana said leaving, knowing that this conversation was getting nowhere.
Hippolyta didn't say a word. She remained standing. In part, she was angry at her daughter, because she had run away, challenged her, and created a life for herself in the place she most feared. However, she was the queen, she would never admit that she was afraid of anyone, not even her daughter. The other reason she was angry was that her daughter had preferred to leave the safety of her island to go protect men, dirty men, vile, cruel, useless, selfish, miserable, damned, and treacherous. She had turned her back on her and her people.
She had missed her, but now she knew that if she stopped Diana from going back to Zone C, her daughter would run away again, and she would have to bring her in by force. The queen was sad, but she would not let anyone see him. She already knew that she was going to have to decide between two things, only one of two things would happen, and once the conflict was over, she would decide which of the two actions to take.

The Rangers were somewhat sleepy and tired, although they had slept, they had slept on the ground, which was very uncomfortable for them, that and many were stressed with the situation. The man who called himself Ares could be back in one to ten days, preventing them from reaching Zone C by Christmas. Because of this, they could not think clearly and were somewhat lazy.
However, the commander had a job for them, one in which they might fall asleep. He commissioned them to go separately to guard each area of the island, each accompanied by a group of Amazons. Obviously, the commander asked the queen for permission, who, to their surprise, seemed calmer than yesterday. He deduced that Diana must have talked to her, so the queen was now deciding what she was going to do with her disobedient daughter who had left her home to go protect the people off this island.
The Rangers this time did not complain, they did not want more fights with the commander. But before leaving, the commander asked the indecisive queen who was the man who called himself Ares. At first, the queen refused, but her daughter came to her defense, arguing that if they were to defeat him, then they needed to know what his weak point was.
"Ares has attacked Themyscira numerous times, but I cannot tell you what Ares's main weakness is. In each attack, he had a different weapon that gave him great power" Said the queen.
"But who is Ares? Why is he named after the god of war? " Asked the commander. Diana again gave her mother a look, asking her to tell them who Ares is. The queen sighed, she hated having to share information with men, but she did it for her daughter, hoping it would make her stay.
"Ares was a man who ended up in Themyscira on purpose. He was a soldier in an army who pretended to be an ambassador. However, his true mission was to get our genetic technology that enhances our abilities, which he did, but at a high price. The technology was not yet perfected, which ended up damaging his mind and made him believe that he was the god of war named Ares. He attacked Themyscira, but we managed to stop him, sadly, he has attacked the country over and over with weapons that he created or stole. And despite everything, he always manages to escape" The queen concluded.
"Now I understand your great distrust of men, Your Highness, but we are not the enemy here," Commander Wayne said defending his position and that of his companions.
"Maybe not today, but men at some point betray, always," The queen said, wanting the commander to surrender to that phrase.
"Honestly, I would give you an answer that you may not like, but we have work to do, Your Highness. Time to get going. J'onn, stay here to report the situation if something happens" The commander ordered.
"Diana stays here. Only until Ares shows up will she come to help" The queen ordered.
"Mother, I can take care of myself. I'll go watch an area, even if you don't want to. And don't take your anger out on my companions" Diana said leaving the throne room.
The others left, and surprisingly Queen Hippolyta let them go watch. She trusted her sisters to kill the men if they were foolish enough to betray them, but she got sick of her daughter challenging her even knowing that she wasn't going to let him leave Themyscira again, maybe.
The commander patrolled the north, Kal patrolled the south, Barry the center because being the fastest he would soon get to help someone, Shayera patrolled the East and John in the West, but Diana, knowing the island like the palm of her hand traversed the island from side to side, including the corners she had discovered. At first, she joined with each of her fellow Rangers, but each did not want to talk to her, not even the commander, but the latter told her that if it was not to discuss a mission issue, then he did not want distractions. Diana went to the private training ground on the island.
The field was used for the younger Amazons. It was for those initiated into the arts of Amazonian combat, the training she had for years until she was sixteen, yet she came here whenever she wanted to vent her emotions. She felt lonely, the other Rangers excluded her, her mother did not understand her and treated her as if she were a fugitive who had committed a great crime, and interacting with her Amazon sisters now was like interacting with strangers. Now all her sisters shot looks of anger and resentment just as they were directed at her fellow Rangers.
Her sisters felt betrayed by Diana, she loved the Man's World more than them. They, like their companions in Zone C, would take a long time to get over it, maybe it would be faster if she stayed with them, but Diana couldn't let her sisters, who were totally fine and safe, stop her from protecting the rest of the world. However, now that she felt left out, she did not know if it was a good idea to return to Zone C. She was indecisive, so she began to pray to her gods to direct her to the best course for her, and for the rest.
On the other side of the island, Commander Wayne was thinking, he knew that the queen would not let Diana go so easily, but if he returned to her, the team would be suspicious and resentful again, but of course, he would not let them exclude Diana, she was a Ranger, part of the team. However, he knew that everything depended on the queen. So, he decided that he would wait for the queen's decision, and once she dictated what was to be done, he would act.
They spent almost three hours patrolling the island, after half an hour, Diana returned to the main palace with her mother to await the appearance of Ares. She thought of sitting in the chair next to the queen's throne, however, her chair was no longer visible. Diana didn't care and sat on the steps with J'onn waiting for a sign and the queen still deciding her daughter's fate. Even though she wanted him to stay here, she saw her daughter rambling, or so she believed from the movements of her head.
"I already remembered why I hate watching. This is so boring" Barry said after so long. If it had been in Zone C the surveillance, he would have scoured the base quickly in search of food, but here all the women were pretty, beautiful and some not so pretty, but they were all dangerous, so he did not venture to get food.
Another hour passed and Ares did not appear, and the queen had no choice but to feed them again since she had fed them something more or less well prepared for breakfast, except for Diana who had received a plate of food prepared in such a perfect way that it seemed that it had not been made there, and although she tried to offer something from her plate to her companions, they had rejected it, except for J'onn, who ate what Diana had happily given him.
The food, to the Rangers' surprise, was a bit different. This time, the meal was held in the main dining room, with thirty Amazonian guards around the table and another twenty Amazons seated at the table. The Rangers sat next to each other, except for Diana, who, on her mother's orders, had sat next to him.
The meal passed in terribly awkward silence. Barry thought about speaking to break the silence since he hated silence, but the commander always looked at him before he could say anything. Furthermore, the commander gave specific orders to his Rangers and J'onn not to speak unless he or Queen Hippolyta ordered it. Despite all the attempts to speak, the commander kept throwing glances that they did not speak.
During all this time, the queen was able to admit that the Rangers were somewhat obedient and loyal to their authority figure despite being someone very desperate and defiant, he was someone who sought to maintain order with his Rangers, such as he used to call them. However, she was seeing that the other Rangers were not kind to Diana, but she knew that both she and her subjects did not behave well with her, since she had lied to the others, only J'onn and the commander were interacting with her daughter, but she still wanted to know if the commander had an inappropriate intention with Diana. At least everyone was able to finish eating and rest for the necessary time.
When the queen got up to say something, there was an explosion on the beach. They all got up and went to the window and there they saw Ares humiliating the Amazons who faced him. The Rangers were about to run, but the commander stopped them.
"Cadet El and Cadet Stewart, attack first," he ordered but stopped them again. "Allen, you take the next blow; I take the next blow, Prince, you go after and Hol is in charge of paralyzing him"
"Very good, Ready?" Kal asked.
"Ready!" The other Rangers answered in unison.
"Justice League, activate!" The six Rangers said in unison. "Rangers of the Justice League"
"Dark Ranger," The commander said.
Everyone followed the commander's plan: Kal attacked first with a big blow to Ares's chest, John created two buses and crushed him, Allen hit him twice very quickly, the Dark Ranger brandished two quick blows with the sword, Diana gave him a kick to the head and Shayera electrocuted him. Ares fell to the ground and was still for quite some time. Diana ran to him and drew a sword and put it on Ares's neck. Ares immediately grabbed the sword and emitted a source of energy so strong that the sword itself exploded and Diana fell backward.
"I told them that I would return and that they are no match for me," Ares said.
"You only destroyed a sword, that's nothing," The Dark Ranger said.
Kal wanted to finish this fast. He wanted to rest after a rough night, so defeating Ares faster was a priority. So, Kal fired his heat vision, and Ares was hit on the back, but again, Ares repelled the attack and launched it at Kal, crashing him into a wall. John attacked with a giant sledgehammer, but Ares grabbed it and used it to attack the others, but luckily they evaded the attack. Barry ran to Ares, but Ares grabbed him by the neck and threw him into the air. John grabbed him with a glove, but Ares shot him, sending him into a tree. Shayera pulled out a pistol and shot Ares, but the shots did nothing to him. Ares, pulled out an ax, and threw it at Shayera, she jumped, but the ax hit her in the back, and it came back to him.
The Dark ranger fired bombs around him, but Ares created an energy blast and the bombs were fired in different directions. The Dark Ranger attacked again with his boomerangs, but Ares destroyed them with his ax.
"You guys are fools for thinking you could beat me," Ares said. "And now, I am going to conquer this country, which deserves to be punished for its disobedience" He said going towards the palace. Diana dropped a bomb and Ares backed away.
"My duty is to protect my country and that is what I will do. I've had enough of all the damage you have inflicted on my sisters" Diana said.
"You will be my loyal slave once I have defeated you," Ares said. A smoke bomb was thrown at Ares, blinding him for a few moments, Diana used another sword and gave Ares a few blows before he recovered and tried to hit him with his ax. Kal got up and knocked Ares down, already on the ground, Kal shot him with all heat vision. Apart from wanting to leave, he did not want this mad man corrupted by power to conquer this country. Ares put his hand on the helmet, stopping the heat vision, and struck Kal across the chest with his ax. John returned to combat and launched a giant plane using great force. Ares summoned all his power, but that didn't help, and the plane crashed into him.
Even after that impact, Ares got up and still wanted to fight, but Barry got in the way with quick blows and Shayera shooting him multiple times.
"Super cannon, Rangers," Said the Dark Ranger.
"Super cannon," Said the five Rangers. "Ready, Aim, fire!" The five said and the big bullet was fired at Ares, who could only scream when he was defeated by these Rangers. There was silence for a few seconds when Ares stood up again with barely any energy.
"If I cannot conquer this country, then I will destroy it, Power Rangers," Ares said using all the power he had and immediately increased his height until he was a 30-meter giant.
"J'onn, send the jets," the Dark Ranger ordered. J'onn obeyed and from Zone C, the fast jets reached the island of Themyscira. The five Rangers got on the jets and took control of each one.
Kal started shooting at Ares's stomach, John was shooting at the hand where he had the ax -the right hand-, Shayera was shooting at the chest, Diana at the head, and Barry was distracting him through rather strange movements like flying around his head or between the legs.
"Don't throw the ax, cadets. Doing so could destroy the island" The commander said.
Fed up with all the fast movements, Ares threw his ax towards them, these knowing its movement, they had to maneuver carefully to avoid any damage, however, the ax was very fast and hit them all before returning to Ares.
Then John used the next resource that had been added to the list of jets, a giant network. The net fell on Ares, but he easily undid it, but Diana prevented him from attacking with a blow to Ares's ax causing him to drop it and Shayera along with Kal destroyed it. John attacked from the front and Barry from behind, and Diana attacked Ares's head.
"Make the arrow now," the Dark Ranger ordered.
The Rangers gathered in an arrow shape, set the course, and Ares still tried to defend herself by summoning arrows, but since they already had all the energy, the Rangers finished the attack, and Ares exploded and returned to her normal size. The Rangers got out of their jets and headed for Ares.
"In the name of Themyscira, you are under arrest," Diana said putting the arrest handcuffs on him.
"I can't be beaten by insects like you," Ares said trying to free himself. "Oh, I used all my power to crush them," Ares said before the other Rangers took him to the queen.

The six Rangers and J'onn were in the throne room with Queen Hippolyta and her Amazons still on guard in case one attacked.
"Rangers, on behalf of Themyscira, I extend my sincere gratitude for saving us from Ares. I don't think mere men would have risked their lives for us" Said the queen.
"It was nothing, Your Royal Highness. It's our duty as…" Barry said before the commander put her hand over her mouth to keep her from speaking.
"Gratitude is not necessary, Your Highness," The commander said.
"Okay, now with that, you can go. We left in neutral conditions" said the queen.
"Not so fast, you have to tell me what will happen to my blue Ranger," The commander said again.
"I wanted to do it alone, but you insisted. Diana of Themyscira, princess of the Amazons, you are banished from Themyscira for life. You saved us from Ares with the help of the other Power Rangers, but you escaped without authorization, you abandoned your sisters, and now you are a follower of them. Someone with that mentality cannot be admitted to the island, therefore all your privileges will be revoked. But as I said before, we started in neutral conditions. And by the way, resign from the League, because in a short time I will issue a statement revealing that you are my daughter, so you will no longer continue as a Power Ranger" The queen concluded.
Diana thought about telling her mother something but seeing that their discussion in the morning had not been successful, she decided to leave. She wouldn't stay to argue anymore, especially now that her life was going to be ruined. Surprisingly, Commander Wayne stood in front of the queen and spoke to her.
"Your Highness, I understand that you want to protect your daughter by removing her position as a Ranger, but I am asking you not to do so" The commander asked.
"What do you want with my daughter? Why are you asking me that? " The queen asked angrily. IF she had already lost favor with her daughter, then the last thing she wanted was for a man to touch her or hurt her.
"She is part of the team. Without her, the equipment does not work and the people in Zone C that I must protect would not have the requested support" the commander replied. He didn't want to enrage her to hold her ground.
"I don't care about the Man's World people, tell me a better reason," said the queen.
"Your daughter enjoys saving others, and if you declare to all the world that she is your daughter, then you will ruin her life and prevent her from doing what she loves. Would you do that to your daughter just because she doesn't think like you? And I have no ill will or intentions towards her, other than that she is the Blue Ranger. Everyone matters in the league" The commander replied.
"Very well, I will not tell anyone about this, but I warn you that if something happens to my daughter like the missile incident, then you will need more than your league to hide you from my fury" warned the queen.
"Losing her or another Ranger is the last thing I want," said the commander.
"How am I sure what you say is true?" Asked the queen.
"I know how it feels to lose someone you care about," said the commander before leaving with the others. As she watched her daughter walk very sadly, the queen prayed that she was safe. Maybe this was the last time she would see her again, and she didn't want anything bad to happen to her, some comfort after she had banished her.
Aboard the ship, all five Rangers were seated, only four were on the right side and Diana was on the left side. She had her head lowered, but she was not crying, she would not show any sadness with the companions who were now excluding her.
The commander knew he had to do something, and he couldn't wait, so he spoke.
"Prince, go to the booth with J'onn," he ordered.
"I'm not in the mood for that," Diana said.
"And I'm not in the mood for you to tell me that. Now go" said the commander. Diana got up and went to the cockpit, leaving the commander alone with her four Rangers.
"Commander, I am happy that we are going to Zone C, but I want to know if Diana will remain on the team," Kal said. He didn't completely trust Diana, but he was worried about her future. The others thought the same too, but Kal had been ahead of them.
"Fortunately, Queen Hippolyta told me that she would not say any of this to anyone. So she will continue to be part of the team if this is never found out" the commander replied.
"Commander ..." John tried to say, but the commander cut her off.
"She will remain on the team, and I don't want any more complaints about it," said the commander.
"It is not a complaint. What I am trying to tell you is that it would be better if we revealed that information to the Supreme Commander. If someone other than us finds out about Diana's secret and reveals it, we would be expelled or demoted from Rangers and you would lose your position as commander" John said.
"That is true, but no one will find out about this, because I ask you not to tell anyone about this. To nobody. Especially you two Allen and El. You Allen, you have a big mouth from which you could tell all the secrets of anyone in ten seconds, and you El, you have a lot of confidence in that reporter, so you better shut your mouth "He ordered Commander.
"Wayne, this is not fair. We have to tell the truth at some point. I don't want to lose my job as a Ranger and I don't want anything to happen to Barry, Shayera and John" Kal said.
"I tell you that I am your commander, not Wayne. And if you don't want to lose your position and you don't want anything to happen to your teammates, you will keep your partner Diana's secret well kept. Digest it, get over it, and focus on the mission" The commander ordered.
"Commander, we care about Diana, but now we are somewhat resentful that she has kept that from us," Shayera said.
"I do not care about that. You also have your own lives and secrets, and if I wanted, I could tell all your companions your worst fear" The commander said, shutting up Shayera. "I don't care if she is the Princess of the Amazons, Prince is part of the team, and if her purpose is to help people, then she will remain on this team. And I warn you, if someone reveals this to someone else, I will send them to Mars where they will not see the sun for more than half a year because they will be busy training in an underground city" The commander said before opening the cabin door and entering. Diana came out and sat down. The rest of the trip was spent in awkward silence before the five of them fell into a deep sleep, this trip was tiring, and they needed rest.

December 25th. Christmas. Zone C Base. 20:00
Diana had just entered her base room. She was somewhat happy with how the gift exchange between her colleagues and J'onn had turned out. Kal gave Barry a racing video game, this really made Barry happy, since he was going to entertain himself for a long time when there was nothing to do. Barry gave John a joke book to make him smile more, which annoyed John a bit but thanked him anyway. John gave Shayera some snow boots, this was partly productive, as the uniforms weren't made for snow, and she loved going out to play snowball wars - in fact, John was lucky that Shayera had the same measurements as his wife's. Shayera gave J'onn cookies, mostly because she couldn't think of anything else to give him, she didn't know him very well. The best part was that J'onn was the one who had to give Diana his gift and gave him a small statue of Zeus for good luck. And Diana gave Kal lotion for his date with Lois so that he would no longer worry about his smell as long as he was with her, and the weirdest thing about this is that Kal had given him a dry thank you, he still didn't know how to act.
After this exchange, J'onn even told Diana that everything was going to be okay. Her comrades would accept her again after a while, and that her mother wouldn't say anything. She didn't think this was possible, but she was still sad that she decided to walk around the base for a bit. Meanwhile, her other teammates and J'onn had their plans and left the base to spend time with other people.
Most surprising was that the four Rangers found gifts in their room: Kal found a blue suit with a red tie, Barry found special running shoes, Shayera a coat, and John a bottle of wine. The four of them went to see J'onn asking him who had given them these gifts, but he did not know who it could have been but told them to take advantage of them, which they did.
J'onn went with his niece who he hadn't seen in a long time because she was on another planet, but she came here to spend time with him. Barry and Shayera walked through the park and even had a snowball fight where Barry was the big winner because he bombarded her up on top of her. And John, as he wanted, spent the night with his wife Mari and their son Rex, and they put the bottle of wine to good use during the early hours.
Kal, as promised, would spend Christmas with Lois. They took a walk around the entire city, talking about how everything had gone these days, and seeing what the city had to offer, something Kal didn't know much about because he was more focused on avoiding scolding from the commander and getting to know Lois. And even though Kal was somewhat upset about Diana and the team's situation, he wouldn't let this interfere with the date he had wanted so much. What he enjoyed the most was that Lois invited him to her apartment, Kal came in and they had a very calm dinner. Lois had told him over lunch that she had anticipated so he wouldn't worry too much, and in fact, she loved the outfit Kal was wearing. After a while, Kal said that it would be best to leave, but Lois told him that she would like him to stay for the night, just to rest with her. Kal obviously agreed, but it turned out better than he expected, as before sleeping, the two shared a kiss, the kiss that Kal had waited for since he met her, and in fact, Lois enjoyed it too and was determined to have one. relationship with him. Now Diana saw a small bluestone. They were an important piece in Greece, but with this, Diana knew that the commander must have bought them. She took the stone and went to the conference room, where the commander was still sitting in his chair watching the monitor that indicated some criminal activity.
"Do you ever sleep?" Diana asked somewhat annoyed.

"Ah good. So tell me why you gave me this Greek stone. Don't tell me you stole it from Themyscira. And if you gave this gift only to me to buy my favor, then you do have something with me" Diana said angrily. The commander turned and got up slowly.
"I gave the other Rangers a gift, and I'm surprised you knew about it before the others. That stone is part of your culture, so it is obvious that you need something after what has happened to you" said the commander.
"How do you think this can help me? My mother banished me from Themyscira, and now my "companions" exclude me. I have nothing" shouted Diana. I was upset about this whole situation.
"They will accept you after a certain time. Also, they haven't revealed anything about their lives either, except for Cadet Stewart, so they will at some point" said the commander.
"And how do you expect that to make me feel better? Maybe my mother sooner or later will reveal that I am her daughter and I won't even be able to be a Ranger anymore. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me. I should quit now to avoid all problems" Diana said.
"You can't do that Diana. I asked the queen not to say anything, and she accepted" Said the commander.
"Did you threaten her?" Diana asked.
"What?" The confused commander asked.
"Did you threaten to do something terrible to her if she revealed this?" Diana asked. She didn't want anything to happen to her mother.
"I wouldn't threaten your mother for anything. I just asked her not to say anything because you like being a Ranger, and if she said anything, it would ruin your life. I suppose I was correct" The commander said very imposing.
"Well thanks for saying it, but now I want to know what you are hiding. I'm sure that's why you do all this" Diana demanded.
"You are important, and this area needs Power Rangers. Without you five, Zone C cannot be saved from criminals, and if you are not, the odds will be weaker, Prince" The commander said. Diana was somewhat satisfied with that explanation, but she knew he was still hiding something, but decided to say something better.
"Thanks for the words, but I know you are lying. But don't worry, I'm not going to pressure you anymore, as you said before, my other colleagues will also have to reveal their secrets sooner or later, and I think you will too" Diana said.
"I'm not hiding anything, but I'm glad you stopped saying it," said the commander. Diana was about to leave, but the alarm sounded. The commander went and saw that a criminal in a purple baseball uniform and a black mask was attacking the bowling alley. "Sportsmaster is attacking, I better stop him."
"Shouldn't we call the others?" Diana asked.
"Sportsmaster creates mayhem with sports-based artifacts; it won't be a problem for me," Said the commander wanting to leave.
"Stop, commander," Diana said. "Don't you mean us?"
"Do you want to go?" Asked the commander.
"I have nothing to do, so this is perfect" she replied.
"But you'd better do whatever I tell you," the commander warned.
"It won't be a problem," Diana said.
The funny thing about this is that, while the two of them were in the patrol car, they both did not feel alone. They felt accompanied and somewhat happy after the events that occurred. After beating Sportsmaster and going back to base, Diana knew that she had lost all the privileges she had in Themyscira, but she was happy to be here and still be a Ranger. The problems with her companions could be solved in another day.
Well, here is the finished chapter. I'm sorry for the absence, but I was at school and my recess won't last long, but I'll do what I can to keep this going.
