BARRY DETECTIVE, PART 2.

17:10 Kingston.

While his teammates were fighting Captain Boomerang, Barry had gone with J'onn to get the information he needed on the beautiful witness who looked like Shayera. J'onn was able to give him the address of her and her husband's house.

Although he did consider her beautiful, he was somewhat disappointed to hear that she was married. However, it was because he was somewhat confused about the way Mrs. Claire Match was acting. This was going to be a kind of verification if what he suspected was true.

Upon arriving at the witness's house, he saw that the house was very neat and very beautiful. There were some flowers along the fence of the house, but it was painted in different colors. He was looking for more of the strange black stains he'd seen on the walls and floors from the burglaries, but he couldn't see anything. He had even looked through the windows of the two-story house, but had found nothing.

"What are you doing here?" a man asked.

"Easy, dear. He is the Power Ranger I met a little while ago," said the woman. Barry turned to see Claire standing next to a man with a thin waist, but a muscular chest.

"Oh, sorry. I just come by chance," Barry said grabbing the man's hand to shake. "It's that my boss allowed me to take a quick walk around the city, and since I'm a fast person, I had to do it running. I stopped because I was surprised that there weren't so many flowers," he said.

"Many of the villains destroy the flowers, so planting them again is tiring" said the man.

"Thank you for the explanation, sir. What was your name?" Barry asked.

"Match, Milo Match," said the man.

"He is my husband," Claire said. "I can't believe you don't remember. We met a few hours ago," she said with considerable confusion.

"Excuse me, please, Claire. It's just that this job is very stressful," Barry apologized. "Well, I have to go, but I want to thank you for helping us with the case, so I want to make an animal out of this balloon," Barry said.

He began to inflate it, but could not. "Could you help me with this, Claire?" Barry asked. "Because I had to run, I'm not in shape."

"No problem," Claire said. She inflated the balloon very easily and gave it to Barry. He quickly made a dog, surprising them.

"A puppy, do you like it?" Barry asked handing it to Claire.

"Yes. It's very pretty, "Claire replied.

"Hey, could you blow me up one last balloon?" Barry asked. "I just want to surprise a girl."

"One and that's it," Claire said. She inflated it and Barry made a giraffe.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Claire and… you," Barry said, speeding away, leaving the couple alone.

"What's wrong with that Ranger, Claire?" Milo asked. "I'm surprised someone as childish and goofy as him is a Ranger."

"Don't worry, dear," Claire said.

"It's good that he's stupid. That way he won't find out about anything," he said, popping the balloon Barry had made for him.

In another part of town, Barry broke the balloon and inhaled the air that Claire had put inside. Once this was done, Barry knew he had to get back to base.

17:20

"Captain Boomerang is wearing my patience," Shayera said walking in circles around the entertainment room.

"Don't even say it. For a bounty hunter to beat us in combat with few weapons is terrible," John said.

"Worst of all is how my heat vision has been used against you. I can't forgive that," Kal said.

"I don't understand why we depend on Barry. He is surely chasing the witness or more girls who can't stand him," John said.

"Hey, girls love me. I am like a flower. Delicate and beautiful both inside and outside, so don't ever say that I'm unbearable or insufferable," Barry said. "I already strayed. I came to tell you that I am sure Captain Boomerang is not the thief."

"What?" John asked. "Just when I thought you were somebody not so stupid, you come to tell me something that puts you in a worse position."

"Barry, I just can't believe you," Kal said.

"Barry, if it's not him, then who is it?" Shayera asked.

Sadly, the alarm sounded.

"Rangers, Captain Boomerang started a riot. Stop him at all cost," the commander ordered over the loudspeaker.

"Ready?" Kal asked.

"Ready!" The others answered in unison.

"Justice League, activate!" The four of them said in unison.

The Rangers went to Kingston, including Diana, who had been training alone with boxing equipment. She was also angry at the defeat at the hands of Captain Boomerang.

In Kingston, Captain Boomerang was throwing explosive boomerangs to the ground and some buildings, making sure not to hurt anyone as he waited for his target to show up. He had tried to track his target, but since he had lost the trail, he decided to rest until a small campfire was lit near him. It was not just one, but quite a few campfires that were lit as some kind of path.

He followed this strange path and made it to downtown Kingston, away from the uptown área. Unfortunately, the trail disappeared when he arrived. So, knowing that they had made him come, he started throwing explosives and cutters to get him out, but only managed to get the Rangers from Zone C to arrive.

"Captain Boomerang, if you don't give up now, we are going to defeat you in a very humiliating way," Diana said.

"I told them not to go where they are not called, but once I defeat them for the third time, my objective will come to me," said the Captain.

"It will not. The money will not come to you," Kal said.

"Wow, they are dumb," said the Captain before throwing more boomerangs at the Rangers.

Barry knew that this time he had to beat the Captain, but in order to come to his defense. He had challenged his other teammates by saying that he believed Captain Boomerang was innocent.

"You're not going to escape this," John said, creating a green fist with his mind and using it to hit the captain. He was very skilled and blocked all of John's blows. Before the Captain could hit John, Barry drew a sword and gave him two quick blows which sent him flying backwards, but John finished him off with two blows to the chest, knocking him down.

"Let's see if you can fight with this," the Captain said, taking out two boomerangs and throwing them into the air. They created a strong sonic boom, distracting the Rangers. Kal used his heat vision and burned one while Shayera shot at the other. She missed four times before hitting the boomerang.

With the sound normal again, Diana drew her sword and literally humiliated Captain Boomerang with her abilities. The Captain tried to pull out more boomerangs to prevent her from hurting him, but she was so determined that he could only stand while the Blue Ranger scratched him everywhere. However, before Diana could finish, Shayera and Kal both shot the Captain. Shayera hit him with her gun and Kal with his heat vision. Captain Boomerang fell and Barry put the handcuffs on him quickly to avoid further destruction.

"You see? Now we humiliate you, Boomerang," Shayera said.

"Now you are going to be prosecuted by the League for all your bank robberies," John said.

"Stop, I told you that he was innocent, and I handcuffed him to avoid any more fights. Come on, Cap, tell us what you're doing here or we're not going to help you," Barry said, putting his elbow on the Captain's shoulder.

"They won't understand," said the Captain.

"If what Barry says is true, then speak up," Kal said.

"This is humiliating. Like I said, I'm a bounty hunter, and I came here looking for two bank robbers, but you guys interfered and cost me my pay," Captain Boomerang revealed.

"So that pair of thieves has been sneaking up on you. Everything starts to square," Barry said.

"I don't understand what's going on, Barry. Maybe the Captain is lying," Kal said.

Suddenly, Claire and her husband Milo appeared. "He is the thief. Take him away," Claire said.

"Not so fast, Claire," Barry said, pointing at her and circling around her and Milo. "He is not the bank robber. You're the bank robber because you are the one who framed him."

"You dare accuse my wife?" Milo asked furiously.

"Not just her, but you too, Milo. You framed Cap, and then you would be free," Barry said.

"Listen to yourself, Barry. It sounds very stupid and weird," John said.

"Why don't you listen to your partner and go with the thief?" Claire asked.

"Okay, many times this has been done to me for a purpose, so I'll do the same," Barry said, going to the back of a car. He started running with all his might putting his hands on the trunk, so the car started moving very fast and headed towards the couple.

"Barry, what are you doing?" Kal asked.

Barry didn't respond, but kept pushing the car towards the couple. Kal thought about firing his heat vision at the car, but the pair shot fire with their hands at the car, causing it to explode. This surprised the Rangers.

"Oh, we couldn't hide it from this one," Claire said.

"Ha. I knew it. You are the kind of person who can create fire through your body," Barry said. "You cut the wall, but were careless in leaving marks on the ground which meant that you thought that no one would see that you burned part of the ground. Since Cap was following you, you incriminated him so that he no longer followed your tracks, or the heat in this case."

"Wow. We thought the five Rangers, especially you, were dumb to the bone, but you do get a round of applause for your discovery, and a good burn," Claire said before casting fire at Barry. The other Rangers tried to help, but Milo started firing as well.

"They are not going to hurt our partner," John said.

All four Rangers attacked, but Milo would be the one to keep them busy while Barry dealt with Claire.

John created a container that he planned to put around Milo, but it managed to deconcentrate him with a circle around him. John created a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. Shayera tried to shock him, but Milo was too Smart. He managed to lock her in another circle of fire, but this time, Milo wasted no time shooting her in the chest and knocking her down.

Diana tried to interfere, but Milo who had the ability to emanate heat, burned her sword. Rendering her unarmed, he fired fire at her helmet. Fed up with this, Kal shot him with his heat vision, but Milo could also give off a lot of heat.

The two were in a fight to see who was giving off more heat than the other, or so it was, until John created a giant flask and put it around Milo. Milo tried to shoot fire, but he couldn't generate it with no oxygen. He couldn't do anything. He could only keep trying to break the vial until he passed out due to the lack of oxygen.

Throughout Milo's battle against the four Rangers, Claire tried to help her husband, but the yellow Ranger was so fast and elusive that she couldn't even hit him.

"You're going to pay for this, Yellow," Claire said.

"I don't think so, Claire," Barry said.

Claire fired more fire at Barry, but Barry kept dodging it. Seeing that this was going on too long, the Rangers decided to help, but Barry stopped them. "I can do this," Barry said.

Claire got fed up and started generating fire, but this time like a rotating sprinkler. Once this was done, Barry started running around her so close to her that the fire began to die out. Claire began to float in the air due to the large amount of air it generated. Seeing this, Barry wasted no time. He stopped spinning as Claire came towards him. Barry gave her an upward hook that put her on the ground, but she was trying to get up.

"Super cannon time," Kal said.

"Super cannon!" The five Rangers said in unison.

"Ready, aim, fire!" all five said.

They fired the bullet which slammed into Claire, knocking her out. Barry went to her and put the handcuffs on her.

"In the name of the Justice League, you are under arrest," Barry said.

"That was great, Barry," Kal said.

"Yes, you did excellent," Diana said.

"Thanks guys," Barry said. "Yes, I'm great."

"Barry, I'm curious. How did you suspect Claire, and how did you come to that conclusion?" Shayera asked.

"Simple, Shay. It was the precise black spots on the outside of the benches. The Captain's boomerang couldn't be that accurate. A very beautiful witness just like you standing just in time on a not so busy street to say something about a criminal was very strange.

Besides that, I saw her house. There were few flowers and I felt warm in a place where it is usually cold. While I was there, I asked her to inflate two balloons. I kept one, and the air was too hot so…" Barry said when she turned around and saw that everyone was no longer there.

"Surprisingly, they are gone faster than me," Barry said before his Morpho sounded. It was the commander.

"Commander, what happened?" he asked.

"Captain Boomerang is fleeing two streets to your left, but do not chase him. We are in neutral conditions," ordered the commander.

"No problem, Commander," Barry said, going quickly towards the Captain who still had the handcuffs tied to his hands.

Barry went to him and removed the handcuffs. "Sorry, Captain. The commander ordered me to remove your handcuffs and let you go. We are in neutral conditions," Barry said.

"To the other one, do not go where they are not called," said the Captain leaving.

Barry thought about following him, but decided not to. He had already given him the commander's message and he had already left without hurting anyone. Now, he had to go back to base.

18:00

In the conference room, the five Rangers were around the conference room.

"Cadet Allen has done a great job. However, it is not advisable to leave a companion alone with a bounty hunter like Captain Boomerang," the commander said. "Other than that, good job stopping the Match couple. Now they are in a prison where they can only generate fire to heat their food."

"Thank you, commander. I know I'm cool," Barry said before the commander waved him to silence.

"Well, now you can go," said the commander.

When they all left, Kal went to the entertainment room while Barry rushed to the track to run with Shayera and John following behind, but Diana stayed. "Prince, your fellow Rangers are not going to exclude you forever. Now, if you can go and do something to help yourself in this situation," the commander said.

"You don't know how frustrating this is, Bruce. It's like it's a demon or monster that nobody wants to see," Diana said.

"Compared to what you saw of me and Ranger Grayson, I think you are in a better area," said the commander before turning around.

Diana started to leave, but J'onn stopped her.

"Diana, the commander is right that your companions are going to accept you. I think he told you this because he believes that you kept a secret about being a princess. I suggest you find the right time to tell them," J'onn said.

"Thanks J'onn," Diana said before leaving.

She knew J'onn and the commander were right, but after what happened, she didn't like being vulnerable with them. She didn't know if the right moment would come. She stopped thinking about that and went to her room.

On the jogging track, Shayera ran alongside Barry, who was running at a low speed so she could speak to him.

"Seriously sorry Barry. I'm sorry I doubted you," Shayera said.

"It's okay, Shayera. It didn't sound good to me, but it's not always when I see a pretty girl that I fall in love with her," Barry said.

"It's hard to believe that," Shayera said.

"Right," Barry said. "By the way, when do you think we should accept Diana again?" he asked.

Shayera became serious again. "I don't know. I know we were quite cold to her, but she did not trust us to tell us that," shee replied. "Maybe if she tells us a better reason we can trust her again."

"Maybe," he said.

She missed talking to her, but still didn't feel confident talking to her. "Well, I have to go. I want to have some fun in the entertainment room," she said.

"See you later," Barry said.

At that moment, John stood in front of Barry. "Barry, I don't want to run as we speak, so please stop," John asked.

Barry ran a full lap once more and stopped in front of John. "What's up, Johnny?" Barry asked.

"I came to apologize for my attitude today. I underestimated you too much and you ended up exposing the real thieves. So I wanted to tell you that I'm sure our personalities will keep colliding over and over again, but I respect you," John said.

"Thanks, Johnny. It's great to hear that," Barry said.

"Now if you don't mind, I'd like to go to the entertainment room," John said.

"Come on, both of us can go. I bet I get there first," Barry said as he sped away, leaving only John.

"At least everything has settled down for now," John said walking to the base.

He said this because he knew that the problems with Diana were not yet resolved, but he, like Shayera, Barry and Kal, hoped that Diana would reveal her reasons or that she could be trusted. Even though she had helped today, it was Barry who resolved the conflict. The four Rangers had to wait longer to trust Diana, but the next to progress had to be Kal.

Well here is another finished chapter for the Power Rangers. I inform you that I am about to enter school again, but I promise that now I will work on Mysterious Island and Apocalypse. By the way, I chose Phosphorus from the Beware the Batman series and Volcana. I hope I made a good chapter for you.
